Clinical observation on the treatment of diabetic neurogenic bladder with Guantong decoction

Objective To discuss the therapeutic effect of treating diabetic neurogenic bladder with integrative medicine. Methods 60 patients with diabetic neurogenic bladder were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group (30 cases) treated with methylcobalamin, pancreatic kallikrein enteric-coated tablets and Guantong decoction, while the control group (30 cases) was treated with western medicine exclusively. The residual urine volume and symptoms were observed before and after the treatment. Results The treatment group showed significantly better results in improving the symptoms and reducing the residual urine volume than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion It is curative to treat diabetic neurogenic bladder with integrative medicine.

Clinical observation on the therapeutic efficacy of matrine on chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia

Objective To study the therapeutic efficaey of matrine on chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia.Methods A total of 68 patients were randomly recruited into a treatment and a control groups.Diammonium glycyrrhizinate and glutathione injection were used in both groups.On this basis,the treatment group was treated with matrine injection.while the control group Was treated with Yinzhihuang injection.Both groups were treated for one month.Results The total effective rate was 97%and 85%in the treatment group and the control group respectively,showing significant difference(P<0.01).Indicators such as ALT,AST, TBIL showcd significant difference after treatment compared with the pre-treatment in both groups (P<0.05).Conclusion It is effective of matrine treating chronic hepatitis B with hyperbilirubinemia.

Clinical Observation on Treatment of 65 Cases of Chronic Sinusitis and Nasal Polyps with Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Combined with Chinese Medicine

Objective To observe clinical effect of treating chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps with endoscopic sinus surgery combined with Chinese medicine. Methods 65 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with endoscopic sinus surgery only, and the treatment group was treated with endoscopic sinus surgery combined with Chinese medicine. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group was 90.9% and 75.0%, respectively. There was a significant dieffference between two groups (P= 0.0416, P<0.05 ). Conclusion The treatment of endoscopic sinus surgery combined with Chinese medicine on chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps is better than endoscopic sinus surgery only.

An Overview to the Research on Clinical Application of Du Meridian

Du meridian is one of the eight extra meridians, having the functions of defending pathogenic factors,inducing diaphoresis to dispel cold, warming the viscera and bowels, elevating the pure yang, promoting the flow qi by warming channels, promoting blood circulation to stop pain, clearing heat by dredging du meridian, treating carbuncle and malaria, dredging du meridian to treat encephalic disease, nourishing brain and nourish marrow, benefiting intelligence and spirit, waking up patient from unconsciousness, relieving convulsion, calming the nerves, stopping endogenous wind, calming the spirit. Moreover it also has the functions of sectional treatment and antidotal health care. Du meridian is widely used clinically in treating many kinds of diseases.

60 Cases Clinical Report of Treatment of Wind-cold Type Periarthritis of Shoulder with Acupuncture with Warmed Needle

Objective To observation the effect of treating wind-cold type periarthritis of shoulder with acupuncture with warmed needle. Methods Study the influence of acupuncture with warmed needle on clinical indexes as total therapeutic effect, pain, and range of activity of 60 patients with wind-cold type periarthritis of shoulder. Result The total effective rate was over 80%. Conclusion acupuncture with wanned needle is a good method in treating wind-cold type periarthritis of shoulder clinically.

Progress in Treatment of Bronchial Asthma with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has good results in treating asthma at remission stage,treating childhood bronchial asthma,and daily nursing.The western medicine usually takes the therapeutic methods of inhaling aerosol drugs,using anti-inflammatory drugs and undertaking interventional therapy,which have good results in relieve symptoms rapidly,dealing with emergent and severe onset of bronchial asthma and treating complications.The integration of these two medicines can cooperate with each other and exert good therapeufc effects.

Treatment of 58 Cases of Knee Osteoarthritis with Acupuncture and Moxibustion Theray

Of all 58 cases of knee osteoarthritis treated by acupuncture and moxibustion, 42 cases were recovered,(accounting for 72.5%), 14 cases were obviously improved (accounting for 24.1%), and 2 cases were ineffective (accounting for 3.4%). The total effective rate was 96.6%. This result demonstrated that acupuncture and moxibnstiou therapy has the good functions of dredging meridians and collaterals, activating qi and blood circulation, dispelling cold and dampness, and removing swollen to stop pain.

Analysis Report on Current Situation of Exercise Therapy Research Recorded in Literatures from CNKI Bibliographic Database

Objective According to the relevant literatures recorded in the CNKI bibliographic database from January 1994 to December 2007,research and application situation of exercise therapy have been investigated and analyzed.Methods Searched for"exercise therapy"in the MeSH and found 25,691 articles.In order to enhance the relevance of the literature search.limited"exercise therapy"being searched by"title search"and got 1102 articles.Results This article introduced the history and researching situation of exercise therapy,and made an investigation on the number of articles in the CNKI bibliographic database of previous 14 years and the number of articles on the top 10 diseases treated with exercise therapy.We found the largest amount of articles on exercise therapy was dealt with diabetic disease.Conclusion Exercise therapy can help to treat diseases caused by bad living habits.

Observation on Curative Effect of Treating 58 Cases of Erosive Oral Lichen Planus with Triamcinolone Acetonide Combined with Herbs for Nourishing Yin and Blood

Objective To observe clinical effect of treating erosive oral lichen planus with triamcinolone acetonide combined with herbs for nourishing yin and blood. Methods 58 patients with erosive oral lichen planus were randomly recurited into a control group and a treatment group. The control group was treated with triamcinolone acetonide, and the treatment group was treated with herbs for nourishing yin and blood based on the control group. The therapeutic effects wereobserved in both groups. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 86.2% and 65.5%, respectively. The difference between the two groups is significant (P<0.05) . Conclusion The therapy of triamcinolone acetonide combined with herbs for nourishing yin and blood has better effect in treating patients with chronic gastritis than exclusive western medicine.
