Description

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine on Digestion was founded in 1993. This journal is supervised by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, sponsored by Spleen and Stomach Disease Branch of Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Digestive System Disease Committee of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Tongji Medical School of Huazhong University of Science and Technology; Aims to explore the essence of the theory of spleen and stomach in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and report the theoretical research and clinical experience of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases, with a focus on the new achievements, new technologies, new progress and new experiences of the digestive system diseases both at home and abroad. "Spleen Stomach Theory" plays a central role in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The eleventh revision of the international classification of diseases has incorporated TCM syndromes into the modern medical disease classification system, but the proportion is still very small, and it will take a longer time for Traditional Chinese Medicine to be widely accepted by the international community. Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on Digestion will play an important role in the academic dissemination of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the field of digestion. The diagnosis and treatment of dominant diseases of Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as ulcerative colitis and chronic atrophic gastritis, and the establishment of clinical paths, can provide more reference for medical and health institutions around the world. At the same time, its wide dissemination is of great significance to improve the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases and enrich medical and health information.
