Abstract :Gastriccancerisamajorchallengewhenitcomestopreventingandcontrollingmalignanttumors inChina.Theexistenceofatrophicgastritisandprecancerouslesionsprovidesthepossibilityforearlydiagnosis andtreatment,andisthefocusofsecondarypreventionofgastriccancer.Duringthepast40years,ChineseMedicineresearchhasmadesomesignificantachievementsregardingthediagnosis,treatment,andpreventionof atrophicgastritisandgastricprecancerouslesions;however,deficienciesstillexsit.Thisarticlereviewsthehistory ofTraditionalChineseMedicineresearchonatrophicgastritisandprecancerouslesions,putsforwardthestrategies todealwiththeexistentproblemsandpointsoutthefuturedevelopment,inordertoprovidereferenceforthecon structionofthesecondarypreventionandtreatmentsystemofgastriccancerwithChinesecharacteristics.
