Chinese Journal of Nautical Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine is supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association (CMA), and published by Chinese Medical Journals Publishing House Co., Ltd. Established in 1994, it is a monthly publication. As the only Chinese core scientific and technical journal and source journal for statistics in the fields of nautical medicine, hyperbaric oxygen medicine, and diving medicine in China, the journal consistently commits itself to serving major national strategies. It highlights Chinese characteristics and professional distinctiveness, focusing on significant missions and the development of specialized disciplines. The journal primarily publishes and showcases new theories, technologies, experiences, and achievements in medical practice, education, scientific research, and management within the fields of nautical medicine and hyperbaric medicine in China. It aims to foster academic exchanges both domestically and internationally, promote the advancement of nautical medicine and hyperbaric medicine in China, and serve maritime endeavors, hyperbaric operations, and national economic development. The journal's academic influence continues to grow. It has been indexed by numerous prestigious domestic and international databases, including: Chemical Abstracts (CA) – USA，Scopus，Abstract Journal (AJ) – Russia，A Guide to the Core Journals of China，China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang Data。It has received multiple awards, such as: CMA Outstanding Periodical Award，Outstanding Periodical Award of East China Region， Outstanding Sci-Tech Journal Award of Shanghai Higher Education Institutions。
