The patients in the control group were given medication treatment and conventional diet, while the intervention group was given medication treatment plus dietary intervention. The therapeutic effect and quality of life were evaluated between the two groups 30 days after the intervention. Results 29 cases in the intervention group were cured (54.72%),while only 16 cases in the control group (30.19%) were cured. The total score of life quality in the intervention group was (69.72 ± 8.42), and (55.71 ± 8.31) in the control group. Significant difference existed in subsequent dimensionality: emotional role, bodily function, bodily pain, vitality, social function, mental health and general health between the two groups. Objective To compare the rehabilitation effect of free rehabilitation, the needle therapy and the hand function recovery machine combined with free rehabilitation on movement function, the feeling function as well as the movement pattern of newly stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods 49 newly stroke patients were divided into the free rehabilitation group, the acupuncture group and the hand function recovery machinegroup, each group received corresponding intervention. The movement function, the feeling function as well as the movement pattern were compared among the three groups using blind method. Results Brunnstrom evaluation for hands feeling-movement function, the Fugl- Meyer evaluation score showed obvious progress compared to before the treatment, score of fine hand - function assessment of Carrshepherd showed no change. Two weeks after treatment,Brunnstrom evaluation for hands feeling-movement function and the Fugl - Meyer evaluation score showed no difference between the free rehabilitation group and the acupuncture group, but the hand function recovery machine group showed better results than the other two groups. One months after treatment,Brunnstrom evaluation for hands feeling-movement function was different among these groups, but not the Fugl-Meyer evaluation score, the hand function recovery machine group showed better results than the other two groups, still score of fine hand-function assessment of Carrshepherd showed no change. Conclusions Acupuncture, free rehabilitation, hand function recov - ery machine all make progress in hand function recovery for newly stroke patients with hemiplegia, but hand function recovery machine combined with free rehabilitation proved to be the best method. Its effect for hand intricate function needs to be enhanced.

The time between endpoint of operation to first anus exhausting was recorded; blood motilin and electrogastrography (EGG)on the morning of 1,2,3 days postoperation after chewing gum was detected. Results The time between endpoint of operation to first anus exhausting was not significantly different between two groups, compared with the control group, blood motilin significantly improved on the first day and the second day,but there was no difference between two groups on 3rd day; EGG was no different in all three days between two groups. The control group uses the traditional method, while the observation group used the transportable-like multi-purpose body posture table during thoracentesis. Pulses, breath, the artery blood oxygen saturation degree were compared between two groups, at the same time, patient comfort levels and degree of satisfaction were also compared. Results After puncture pulse, breathing and arterial oxygen saturation increased in both groups, but showing significant difference between the two groups. Comfort and satisfaction degree of patients in the observation group was significantly better than the control group.
