1.Associations of reproductive health indicators with lung function and COPD among female community residents aged 40 years and above in Songjiang District,Shanghai

		                        			Objective To investigate the associations of reproductive health indicators with lung function and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)among women aged 40 years and above.Methods From Jul to Sep,2021,female subjects aged 40 years and above were randomly selected from the Shanghai Suburban Adult Cohort and Biobank for COPD screening.A questionnaire was used to obtain information on demographic characteristics and reproductive health indicators.Linear regression was used to analyze the effects of reproductive health indicators on forced vital capacity(FVC)and forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1).Logistic regression was also used to analyze the effects of reproductive health factors on FVC as a percentage of the predicted value(FVC%Pred)and FEV1%Pred as well as on COPD.Results A total of 1876 women aged 40 years and above were enrolled with mean age of(62.1±8.2)years old,among them,78.1%were menopausal,and 40.9%had been pregnant≥3 times.Multivariate analysis showed that FVC and FEV1 decreased in postmenopausal women,but menopause was not associated with a decrease in their percentage of predicted values.Pregnancies≥3 times was a risk factor for COPD(for 3 times,OR=4.92,95%CI:1.48-19.95,P<0.05;for≥4 times,OR=9.06,95%CI:2.32-41.57,P<0.01),while pregnancies of 2 times did not increase the risk of COPD.Conclusion In women aged 40 years and above,menopause is associated with poorer FVC and FEV1,and excessive pregnancy(≥3 times)is a risk factor for COPD.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.The inhibitory effect of artesunate on hepatocellular carcinoma cells by regulating expression of GADD45A and NACC1

		                        			Aim To explore the effect and mechanism of the artesunate(ART)on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The cell lines MHCC-97H and HCC-LM3 were used to be detected.MTT and clone formation were used to determine the cell proliferation;Wound healing was used to detect the cell migration;Transwell was used to test the cell invasion.Flow-cy-tometry was used to detect cell apoptosis and cell cy-cle.RNA-seq and qRT-PCR was used to detect the genes expression.Results The proliferation,migra-tion and invasion of treated cells were obviously inhibi-ted(P<0.01).Moreover,the apoptosis rate in-creased significantly,so did the proportion of G2/M cells.Transcriptomic analysis identified GADD45A as a potential target of ART through RNA-sequencing da-ta,and suggested that ART might induce apoptosis and cell cycle arrest through regulating the expression of GADD45A.In addition,the results of mechanism studies and signaling analysis suggested that GADD45A had interaction with its upstream gene NACC1(nucle-us accumbens associated 1).Moreover,after ART treatment,the expressions of GADD45A and NACC1 were changed significantly.Conclusion ART may be a potential drug to resist HCC by affecting the expres-sion of GADD45A and its upstream gene NACC1,which provides a new drug,a new direction and a new method for the clinical treatment of HCC.

		                        			Objective:To investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers in China and analyze the factor influencing the KAP.Methods:A self-developed questionnaire was used for an online research on the KAP of 11 849 pediatric healthcare providers from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China from March 11 to 14, 2022.The factors influencing the KAP of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers were examined by Logistic regression. Results:The scores of KAP, of pulse oximetry were 5.57±0.96, 11.24±1.25 and 11.19±4.54, respectively.The corresponding scoring rates were 69.61%, 74.95%, and 55.99%, respectively. Logistic regression results showed that the gender and working years of pediatric healthcare providers, the region they were located, and whether their medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters were the main factors affecting the knowledge score (all P<0.05). Main factors influencing the attitude score of pediatric healthcare providers included their knowledge score, gender, educational background, working years, region, medical institution level, and whether the medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). For the practice score, the main influencing factors were the knowledge score, gender, age, and whether the medi-cal institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Chinese pediatric healthcare providers need to further improve their knowledge about and attitudes towards pulse oximetry.Pulse oximeters are evidently under-used.It is urgent to formulate policies or guidelines, strengthen education and training, improve knowledge and attitudes, equip more institutions with pulse oximeters, and popularize their application in medical institutions.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
5.Short term clinical observation of cervical anterior Hybrid surgery.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To investigate the short-term clinical effect of the cervical anterior Hybrid surgery in the treatment of two-segment and three-segment cervical spondylosis.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			From January 2018 to January 2019, 108 patients who were performed anterior Hybrid surgery with cervical degenerative diseases were collected. The patients were divided into a two-segment group with 52 patients and a three-segment group with 56 patients according to surgical segments. In two-segment group, there were 24 males and 28 females, aged from 35 to 67 years old with an average of(45.94±14.67) years old. In three-segment group, there were 23 males and 33 females, aged from 32 to 65 years old with an average of (47.54±15.34) years old. The outcome indicators of the two groups were compared. Clinical indicators:neck disability index(NDI) was used to evaluate daily life ability, Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA) score was used to evaluate neurological function improvement, visual analogue scale(VAS) was used to evaluate pain intensity, and general clinical results were graded according to Odom's score. Cervical range of motion (ROM), fusion and complications were measured by X-ray, CT and MRI.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			All operations were successfully completed and all patients were followed up for more than 12 months. The operation time of two-segment group and three-segment group were 95 to 180 min with an average of(152.30±44.74) min and 110 to 210 min with an average of (165.18±45.86) mins, the blood loss were 20 to 100 ml with an average of (32.88±8.75) ml and 20 to 150 ml with an average of(34.64±10.63) ml respectively which has no statistical differences between the two groups (P>0.05). Compared with those before surgery, NDI, JOA, VAS and Odom's scores between two groups were significantly improved at 12 months after operation(P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the NDI, JOA and Odom's scores between two groups (P>0.05), and VAS in three-segment group was higher than that in two-segment group. There was no significant difference in C3-C7 cervical mobility between two groups. Surgical incisions healed smoothly in all patients without complication such as spinal cord injury and cerebrospinal fluid leakage. The bone fusion of the two groups were 43 cases (82.69%) and 45 cases(80.35%) respectively. In two-segment group, there were 2 cases of adjacent segmental hyperosteogeny, and there were 3 cases of adjacent segmental hyperosteogeny and 1 case of adjacent posterior longitudinal ligament ossification in the three-segment group. In addition, in three-segment group, there was 1 case of looseness of implants with no obvious clinical symptoms.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			The anterior Hybrid surgery in treating multi-level cervical spondylosis could not only improve clinical symptoms of patients but also preserve mobility. Meanwhile, the efficacy and safety of Hybrid surgery in different multi-level cervical disc diseases are confirmed, proving its value in clinical practice.

		                        			 Adulterants and counterfeits were found in some of the commercial traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) decoctions in Hongjin Xiaojie Jiaonang, Hongjin Xiaojie Pian, and Chaihuang Keli during the national drug sampling inspection. However, it was difficult to determine the species of the adulterants and counterfeits by conventional testing methods. Therefore, a total of 184 samples of the TCM decoctions and raw materials belong to the prescriptions of above mentioned traditional Chinese patent medicines, including Bupleuri Radix, Bajiaolian, Heimayi, and Shufuchong, were collected and authenticated by DNA barcoding technology. 111 ITS2 sequences were obtained from 115 commercial TCM decoctions and raw materials of Bupleuri Radix, among which 71 were 
		                        		
		                        	
7.Clinical observation on the treatment of cervical degenerative diseases with Hybrid surgery.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To investigate the clinical effect of anterior cervical Hybrid surgery in the treatment of cervical degenerative diseases (CDD) and observe the incidence of heterotopic ossification of disc replacement segment at 1 year after surgery.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			From January 2015 to April 2018, 35 patients who received anterior cervical hybrid surgery met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and the complete clinical follow up data were analyzed retrospectively. Complete imaging follow-up data were obtained from 24 patients. There were 15 males and 20 females, aged from 39 to 70(55.57±7.73) years old. The amount of bleeding was for 20 to 100 (40.29±18.39) ml, and the hospitalstay was for 4 to 28(11.03±4.63) days, and the follow-up time was(12.97±1.36) months. Clinical outcomes were assessed by the Tanaka Yasushi cervical spondylitis symptom scale 20 score (YT20), and Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score. The occurrence of heterotopic ossification after Hybrid surgery was evaluated by X-ray according to McAfee standard one year after operation. Patients with or without heterotopic ossificationwere divided into two groups and their clinical effects were compared.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			At the final follow up, the mean YT20 score and JOA score were significantly higher than those before operation (P <0.05), and the average improvement rate of JOA was (70.66 ±0.44)%. One year after operation, the heterotopic ossification occurred in 10 of 24 segments, with incidence of 41.70%(10/24), including 29.20% in gradeⅠand 12.50% in gradeⅡ. The results of clinical efficacy comparison between patients with and without heterotopic ossification were as follows:there was no significant difference in JOA score before and after operation (
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION

8.Association between the Controlling Nutritional Status score and long-term outcome in patients with acute heart failure.

		                        			Objective: To evaluate the nutritional status by the Controlling Nutritional Status (CONUT) score and its association with the long-term prognosis in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). Methods: This prospective monocentric study consecutively enrolled patients admitted to our hospital for AHF from April 2012 to May 2016. Patients were divided into 3 groups based on the CONUT score at admission: normal (0-1), mild malnutrition (2-4) and moderate-severe malnutrition (5-12) groups. Baseline information was obtained and recorded within 24 hours after admission. All patients were followed up every 3 months by outpatient visit or telephone call until March 2019. The primary endpoint was all-cause mortality. The Kaplan-Meier survival curves and log-rank test were used to compare all-cause mortality between groups. Variables showing statistical significance in the univariate analysis were incorporated into multivariate Cox regression model to analyze the independent risk factors for all-cause mortality after discharge. Results: A total of 396 patients were enrolled in this study, including 114 patients with normal nutritional status, 200 patients with mild malnutrition and 82 patients with moderate-severe malnutrition. One hundred and fifty-eight patients died during a median follow-up of 34 (18, 46) months. The mortality was 32.4% (37/114), 39% (78/200) and 52.4% (43/82) in normal, mild malnutrition and moderate-severe malnutrition groups, respectively. The mortality was significantly higher in the moderate-severe malnutrition group than in normal nutrition group (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in mortality between normal and mild malnutrition group as well as between mild and moderate-severe malnutrition group (both P>0.05). Kaplan-Meier curves indicated that patients with high CONUT score group was at higher risk of all-cause mortality compared with those with low CONUT score (P=0.002). Cox proportional hazard analyses showed that the risk of all-cause mortality of moderate-severe malnutrition group was significantly higher than that of normal nutrition group (HR =1.648, 95%CI 1.021-2.660, P=0.041). Conclusions: The CONUT score of patients with AHF at admission is associated with the long-term prognosis. 		                        			Objective To understand the distribution and epidemic characteristics of common pathogens of pneumonia among hospitalized children in Suzhou. Methods Nasopharyngeal secretions were collected from hospitalized children with clinical pneumonia admitted to the respiratory department of Children's Hospital Affiliated to Suzhou University from April 2011 to March 2018 to detect common viral and bacterial pathogens of children's pneumonia. Results The total positive rate of pathogens was 75. 6% in the 4 765 clinical pneumonia cases. The positive rate of bacterial pathogens was 57. 4%. Streptococcus pneumoniae ( SP) was the highest,followed by Haemophilus influenzae ( H. i) ; The positive rate of viral pathogens was 44. 1%. Respiratory syncytial virus ( RSV) was the highest,followed by Bocavirus ( BoV) . The mixed infection rate of bacteria and virus was 25. 9%,and the most common types were RSV and SP,BoV and Streptococcus viride ( SV) . Conclusions SP,H.i,RSV and BoV are the main pathogens of clinical pneumonia in children. There are statistical differences in different age groups and seasons of hospitalized children's pneumonia in Suzhou.
