OBJECTIVE To systematically investigate the changes of volatile components in Euphorbia wallichii after milk and wine processing, and preliminarily elucidate the material basis for reducing toxicity. METHODS Using headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technology, the volatile components in raw E. wallichii, milk-processed E. wallichii, and wine- processed E. wallichii were isolated and identified, and the relative percentage content of each component was calculated by the peak area normalization method. Combining chemometric methods such as principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least- squares discriminant analysis, changes in volatile components in samples after milk and wine processing were compared. Differential components were screened. RESULTS A total of 66 volatile components were identified from the three samples, with the types of compounds primarily comprising alkanes, olefins, heterocycles and esters, among others. A total of 39, 24 and 36 volatile components were identified from raw E. wallichii, milk-processed E. wallichii, and wine-processed E. wallichii, respectively, with 10 components common to all three preparations. Compared with raw E. wallichii, the relative percentage of other components in milk-processed E. wallichii decreased, except for alkanes and esters. The relative percentage of alkanes, olefins, aldehydes and esters in wine-processed E. wallichii increased, but the contents of heterocyclic compounds, ketones, ethers and alcohols decreased. The results of chemometric analysis showed that the volatile components of raw and processed products were significantly different. A total of 5 kinds of differential components in milk-processed products and 3 kinds of differential components in wine-processed products were screened out. Among them, the relative percentage of potential toxic components such as linalool, octanal and 3-pentanone decreased significantly after processing(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Milk and wine processing may exert a toxicity-reducing effect by reducing the contents of toxic components such as linalool, octanal and 3-pentanonein E. wallichii.

Objective:To explore the factors associated with vascular luminal dilatational remodeling (VLDR) following balloon angioplasty for intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS).Methods:A case-control study was conducted to analyze the data of symptomatic severe ICAS patients who received either paclitaxel-coated balloon angioplasty (PCBA) or plain balloon angioplasty (POBA) at our center from January 2019 to January 2022 and completed the six-month follow-up. The patients were divided into VLDR group and non-VLDR group according to whether VLDR occurred on follow-up digital subtraction angiography (DSA). The baseline data, preoperative and postoperative lesion characteristics (DSA), and perioperative related information were collected. The definition of VLDR was a decrease in luminal stenosis rate by more than 10% at the time of follow-up compared to the immediate postoperative period. Multivariate logistic regression was performed to analyze possible factors affecting VLDR such as balloon type, balloon length, and expansion time. Results:A total of 88 patients were included in this study, with 16 in the VLDR group and 72 in the non-VLDR group. The follow-up time for all included patients was 6.00 (5.00, 7.00) months. VLDR occurred in 18.2% (16/88) of cases, with a VLDR incidence of 30.4% (14/46) after PCBA and 4.8% (2/42) after POBA. Univariate logistic regression analysis revealed that treatment balloon type, balloon length, inflated time, immediate postoperative stenosis rate, follow-up time and Mori classification may affect the occurrence of VLDR. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the use of paclitaxel-coated balloon (PCB) ( OR=9.82, 95% CI 1.99-48.49, P=0.005) and postoperative immediate stenosis rate ( OR=1.07, 95% CI 1.00-1.14, P=0.042) were independently associated with VLDR. Conclusion:The occurrence of VLDR following balloon angioplasty in ICAS was associated with the use of PCB and immediate postoperative stenosis rates, which will provide guidance for the clinical application of PCB.

Affective brain-computer interfaces (aBCIs) has important application value in the field of human-computer interaction. Electroencephalogram (EEG) has been widely concerned in the field of emotion recognition due to its advantages in time resolution, reliability and accuracy. However, the non-stationary characteristics and individual differences of EEG limit the generalization of emotion recognition model in different time and different subjects. In this paper, in order to realize the recognition of emotional states across different subjects and sessions, we proposed a new domain adaptation method, the maximum classifier difference for domain adversarial neural networks (MCD_DA). By establishing a neural network emotion recognition model, the shallow feature extractor was used to resist the domain classifier and the emotion classifier, respectively, so that the feature extractor could produce domain invariant expression, and train the decision boundary of classifier learning task specificity while realizing approximate joint distribution adaptation. The experimental results showed that the average classification accuracy of this method was 88.33% compared with 58.23% of the traditional general classifier. It improves the generalization ability of emotion brain-computer interface in practical application, and provides a new method for aBCIs to be used in practice.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for simultaneous determination of nine components in Huoxiang zhengqi oral liquid, and to improve and perfect the quality standard of Huoxiang zhengqi oral liquid. METHODS: The contents of nine components in 10 batches of Huoxiang zhengqi oral liquid were determined by HPLC, such as licorice coumarin, isorlicin, liquiritinapioside, narirutin, liquiritin, saponins, hesperidin, magnolol and honokiol. The determination was performed on Kromasil Eternity XT-5-C18 column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid solution (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 1 mL/min. The detection wavelength was set at 220 nm, and column temperature was 25 ℃. The sample size was 10 μL. Objective:To transfer the interleukin 37 (IL-37) gene to cervical cancer Hela cells, and to explore the killing effect of IL-37 on the HeLa cells and its enhancement in the chemotherapy sensitivity of HeLa cells. Methods:The pIRES2-EGFP (NC group) and pIRES2-EGFP/IL-37 (IL-37 group) plasmids were transfected into the HeLa cells.Q-PCR and Western blotting methods were used to detect the expression levels of IL-37 mRNA and protein. The activities of HeLa cells in NC group,IL-37 group,DDP group and IL-37+DDP group were detected by CCK8 method, and the inhibitory rates of cells were calculated. The gene expressions of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and Cyclin D1 were detected by RT-PCR method. Results:Compared with NC group, the expression levels of IL-37 mRNA and protein in IL-37 group were significantly increased (P<0.01).The activities of HeLa cells in DDP (5-15 mg · L-1) groups were inhibited after administration for 24-72 h (P< 0.01);the inhibitory rates in IL-37 + DDP group were higher than those in DDP group within 48 h after administration (P<0.05).Compared with IL-37 group, the inhibitory rates in IL-37+DDP group was increased with 96 h after administration (P<0.05).Compared with NC group, the expression levels of STAT3 and Cyclin D1 mRNA in IL-37 group were significantly decreased (P<0.01).Conclusion:The over-expression of IL-37 can inhibit the proliferation of cervical cancer cells and enhance the effect of DDP on the chemotherapy of cervical cancer cells which may be related to the down-regulation of the expressions of STAT3 and Cyclin D1 by IL-37.
