1.Bibliometrics analysis of the application of diabetic retinopathy model

AIM: To analyze the modeling characteristics and validation indexes of diabetic retinopathy model, analyze the shortcomings of the present animal experimental modeling, and provide a reference basis for the establishment of the standardization of the diabetic retinopathy model.METHODS: Literatures related to animal experiments on diabetic retinopathy were searched through the databases of CNKI, Wanfang, VIP and PubMed, and the experimental animal species, grade, gender, age, modeling method, modeling period, validation indexes, and other indexes were summarized and analyzed.RESULTS: The 275 papers that met the criteria were included. The animal models of diabetic retinopathy were mainly SD rats and Wistar rats, the sex of the experimental animals was mainly male, and the animal breeds were mostly of the SPF class. The age of most of the animals used was in the range of 6-8 weeks old; the modeling was based on those who established the type 1 diabetes model, mainly using STZ as the induction model. While the type 2 diabetes model was based on the high-fat, high-sugar diet combined with STZ. The modeling criteria were verified by detecting retinal morphology and structure, retinal vascularization, retinal function, and retinal cell apoptosis. In addition, the model was evaluated by detecting abnormal vascular proliferation, oxidative stress indicators, and inflammatory factor levels in retinal tissues, as well as abnormal vascular proliferation and inflammatory factor levels in aqueous humour, vitreous humor, and blood serum.CONCLUSION: Although the animal model of diabetic retinopathy has become a hotspot, the existing review is not comprehensive. Therefore, we summarized and analyzed the elements of the animal model through literature collation, including its characteristics and limitations, and providing methodological references for the establishment of the model, with a view to laying a solid foundation for the subsequent clinical and basic research of traditional Chinese medicine.
2.Evidence and acupoint combinations in acupuncture for functional dyspepsia: an overview of systematic review and data mining study

Objective:
To evaluate the methodological quality of papers that performed meta-analyzed and systematically reviewed acupoint selections for the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD) and to identify the ideal acupoint combinations for FD.
Methods:
Chinese databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP), China Biology Medicine (CBM), and Wanfang Database, as well as English databases including PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library were searched to retrieve papers about meta-analysis and systematic literature reviews on acupuncture for FD. The time span for the paper retrieval was set from the foundation of the databases to April 30, 2022. The Veritas scores of the papers based on their publication year, study type, Assessment of Multiple Systematic Reviews 2 (AMSTAR2), Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), heterogeneity, and publication bias were rated to assess the methodological quality of the included studies. Then, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were extracted from those meta-analysis papers or systematic literature reviews for analyzing acupoints frequency, meridian frequency, and association rules with the use of R software (V 4.3.1).
Results:
Eight meta-analysis papers were included in the study after screening. The mean Veritas scores of the papers based on publication year, type of study, AMSTAR2, PRISMA, heterogeneity, and publication bias were 4.50, 8.00, 4.63, 4.63, 4.50, and 6.13, respectively. The analysis of the scores revealed insufficiencies in the reviews pertaining to the methodology, comprehension of the research strategy, detailed list of excluded studies, sources of funding, assessment of potential bias risks impact on meta-analysis results in each study, explanation of heterogeneity, and identification of potential conflicts of interest. Furthermore, a total of 85 RCTs were obtained from the eight meta-analysis papers involving 85 acupuncture prescriptions and 67 acupoints for subsequent data mining. The most commonly used meridian was Stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming (ST). Zusanli (ST36), Neiguan (PC6), Zhongwan (CV12), Taichong (LR3), Tianshu (ST25), Gongsun (SP4), Weishu (BL21), Pishu (BL20), Neiting (ST44), and Yinlingquan (SP9) topped the list of frequently selected acupoints. Additionally, a total of 28 association rules were identified, including 10 second-order, 15 third-order, and 3 fourth-order association rules. The top-ranking association rules in each order were “Neiguan (PC6) → Zusanli (ST36)” “Zhongwan (CV12) + Neiguan (PC6) → Zusanli (ST36)” and “Zhongwan (CV12) + Taichong (LR3) + Neiguan (PC6) → Zusanli (ST36)”, respectively.
Conclusion
Acupuncture could alleviate the clinical symptoms of FD. However, the quality of methodology applied in the meta-analysis papers on the subject needs to be improved. Through data mining, a combination of Neiguan (PC6), Zusanli (ST36), Zhongwan (CV12), and Taichong (LR3) was identified as an essential acupoint combination for the treatment of FD.
3.Research on the Protection of Personal Health Information in Public Health Emergencies

The use of digital means has made the public health emergency management more efficient and convenient. However, in the practice of managing public health emergencies, there are dilemmas in the protection of personal health information, such as the imperfect legal system, the weakened right of informed consent and control, the lack of reasonable norms in the collection and use of information, and the disclosure of personal health information. To solve the dilemma of personal health information protection, it is necessary to improve the corresponding legal mechanism, strengthen the classification of health information, standardize the behavior of health information collection and use, enhance the technical support of personal health information protection, build a system combining law and technology, and protect the security of personal health information.
4.MTBP regulates migration and invasion of prostate cancer cells .

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the role of MTBP in regulating the migration and invasion of human prostate cancer cells.
METHODS:
The baseline expressions of MTBP in 3 different human prostate cancer cells lines (22RV1, DU145 and Lncap) were detected using Western blotting. The cells were transfected with a small interfering RNA (siRNA) for MTBP knockdown or MTBP plasmid for MTBP overexpression, and 48 h later, the cells were examined for MTBP expression with Western blotting; the changes in the migration abilities of the cells were evaluated using wound healing assay and Transwell assay, and the cell invasiveness was assessed using Matrigel Transwell assay. The expression of E-cadherin protein, a marker of epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT), was detected using Western blotting.
RESULTS:
MTBP expression was the highest in DU145 cells followed by Lncap cells, and was the lowest in 22RV1 cells, indicating a positive correlation of MTBP expression with the level of malignancy of human prostate cancer cells. Transfection of the cells with siRNA or MTBP plasmids efficiently lowered or enhanced the expressions of MTBP in human prostate cancer cells. Wound healing assay showed that inhibition of MTBP expression decreased the migration ability of the prostate cancer cells, and MTBP overexpression significantly promoted the migration of the cells ( < 0.01). Transwell assay showed that MTBP knockdown significantly lowered the migration and invasion ability of the cells, while MTBP overexpression markedly increased the number of migrating and invading cells ( < 0.01); Western blotting results showed that MTBP knockdown increased the expression of E-cadherin protein, and MTBP overexpression decreased E-cadherin expression in the prostate cancer cells.
CONCLUSIONS
MTBP overexpression promotes the migration and invasion of human prostate cancer cells possibly relation to the induction of EMT.
