Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Jianwei Xiaozhang Tablets on rats with precancerous lesions of gastric cancer(PLGC).Methods Forty male SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group,the model group,the folic acid group and the Jianwei Xiaozhang Tablets group,with 10 rats in each group.In addition to the normal group,the other three groups of rats were prepared by gavage with Ranitidine Aqueous Solution combined with N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine(MNNG)solution drinking method for the preparation of PLGC model.After successful modeling,drugs were administered accordingly for 7 weeks.The changes in body mass of rats during modeling and drug administration were recorded,the gross view of the stomach was observed and scored pathologically,the coefficients of spleen and liver were determined,the pathological changes in gastric tissue were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to measure serum gastrin(GAS),motilin(MTL)and glucagon(GC),Alisin Blue-Periodic Acid Schiff's(AB-PAS)staining was used to observe the thickness of the mucosal layer of gastric tissues,the expressions of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K),phosphorylated PI3K(p-PI3K),protein kinase B(Akt),phosphorylated Akt(p-Akt),and endothelial-type nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)proteins in gastric tissues were detected by protein immunoblotting(Western Blot),and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA)protein in gastric tissues was detected by immunofluorescence staining.Results Compared with the normal group,the body mass of rats in the model group grew slowly during the experimental period,gastric macroscopic pathological scores were significantly increased(P＜0.01),splenic coefficient and hepatic coefficient were significantly decreased(P＜0.01),the gastric tissues showed cuprocyte hyperplasia and intestinal chemotaxis,gastric tissues'inflammation scores were significantly increased(P＜0.01),the serum GAS content was significantly increased(P＜0.01),and the MTL,GC contents were significantly reduced(P＜0.05),and the thickness of the mucous membrane layer of gastric tissue was significantly reduced(P＜0.05),the protein expression levels of PI3K,p-PI3K,Akt,p-Akt and eNOS were reduced(P＜0.01),and the protein expression level of VEGFA was reduced(P＜0.01);compared with the model group,the above indexes of the Jianwei Xiaozhang Tablets group and the folic acid group were all significantly improved(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),among which,the Jianwei Xiaozhang Tablets group had a better improvement effect in the proliferation of cup cells and intestinal chemotaxis in gastric tissues,the content of serum GAS,and the thickness of the mucous layer in gastric tissues.Conclusion The mechanism of the improvement of PLGC in rats by Jianwei Xiaozhang Tablets may be related to the activation of the PI3K-Akt-eNOS pathway,which in turn promotes the angiogenesis and repair of gastric damaged tissues.

3ʹ-Hydroxy-4ʹ-methoxy-2-hydroxy-5-bromochalcone (hereinafter referred to as C13) is a novel chalcone derivative obtained in the process of structural modification of DHMMF, the antitumor active compound of Resina Draconis, in our laboratory. In this study, we investigated the effects of C13 on the proliferation and apoptosis of human gastric cancer HGC-27 and AGS cells and its potential mechanism of action. Firstly, through methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT), colony formation assay, and 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) staining, we found that C13 inhibited the proliferation ability of human gastric cancer HGC-27 and AGS cells. Using flow cytometry and Western blot, it was found that C13 induced apoptosis in human gastric cancer HGC-27 and AGS cells, and up-regulated the protein level of cleaved poly ADP-ribose polymerase (cleaved-PARP). The results of RNA sequencing analysis showed that the Erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 4/phosphoinositide 3-kinases/AKT (ErbB4/PI3K/AKT) signaling pathway may be involved in anti-gastric cancer activity of C13. Finally, the results of immunoblotting assay showed that C13 treatment down-regulated the protein levels of ErbB4 and phospho-ErbB4, as well as down-regulated the phosphorylation levels of PI3K and AKT in human gastric cancer HGC-27 and AGS cells, which verified the results from RNA-seq analysis. In conclusion, C13 inhibited the proliferation and induced apoptosis of human gastric cancer cells, which may be related to the down-regulation of ErbB4/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. This study may provide a candidate drug for the treatment of gastric cancer.

Children and adults differ significantly in physiology,biochemistry and immune function,which leads to sig-nificant differences in blood transfusion strategies between children and adults.To guide the clinical transfusion practice of pediatric patients and improve the prognosis of children,the National Health Commission organized the formulation and re-lease of the health industry standard Guideline for Pediatric Transfusion(WS/T 795-2022).This paper will briefly introduce some concepts that help understand of the Standard and the preparation process of the Standard,and explain and interpret the preparation of the"scope","general provisions"and"factors to consider"of the Standard,hoping to contribute to the understanding and implementation of the Standard.

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of Morinda officinalis oligosaccharides in the continuation treatment of mild and moderate depression.Methods An open,single-arm,multi-center design was adopted in our study.Adult patients with mild and moderate depression who had received acute treatment of Morinda officinalis oligosaccharides were enrolled and continue to receive Morinda officinalis oligosaccharides capsules for 24 weeks,the dose remained unchanged during continuation treatment.The remission rate,recurrence rate,recurrence time,and the change from baseline to endpoint of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Clinical Global Impression-Severity(CGI-S)and Arizona Sexual Experience Scale(ASEX)were evaluated.The incidence of treatment-related adverse events was reported.Results The scores of HAMD-17 at baseline and after treatment were 6.60±1.87 and 5.85±4.18,scores of HAMA were 6.36±3.02 and 4.93±3.09,scores of CGI-S were 1.49±0.56 and 1.29±0.81,scores of ASEX were 15.92±4.72 and 15.57±5.26,with significant difference(P＜0.05).After continuation treatment,the remission rate was 54.59％(202 cases/370 cases),and the recurrence rate was 6.49％(24 cases/370 cases),the recurrence time was(64.67±42.47)days.The incidence of treatment-related adverse events was 15.35％(64 cases/417 cases).Conclusion Morinda officinalis oligosaccharides capsules can be effectively used for the continuation treatment of mild and moderate depression,and are well tolerated and safe.

Traditional Chinese medicine can regulate the hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)signalling pathway and slow down tumour progression mainly by inhibiting tumour angiogenesis,glycolysis,epithelial mesenchymal transition and other pathological processes.This paper,starting from HIF-1α and related factors,reviews its pathological mechanism in tumours and the research of traditional Chinese medicine interventions with the aim of providing theoretical references for the treatment of tumours with traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective:To assess the effectiveness of a 6-month Ba Duan Jin exercise program in improving the balance of community-dwelling older adults.Methods:A two arms, parallel-group, cluster randomized controlled trial was conducted in 1 028 community residents aged 60-80 years in 40 communities in 5 provinces of China. Participants in the intervention group (20 communities, 523 people) received Ba Duan Jin exercise 5 days/week, 1 hour/day for 6 months, and three times of falls prevention health education, and the control group (20 communities, 505 people) received falls prevention health education same as the intervention group. The Berg balance scale (BBS) score was the leading outcome indicator, and the secondary outcome indicators included the length of time of standing on one foot (with eyes open and closed), standing in a tandem stance (with eyes open and closed), the closed circle test, and the timed up to test.Results:A total of 1 028 participants were included in the final analysis, including 731 women (71.11%) and 297 men (28.89%), and the age was (69.87±5.67) years. After the 3-month intervention, compared with the baseline data, the BBS score of the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group by 3.05 (95% CI: 2.23-3.88) points ( P<0.001). After the 6-month intervention, compared with the baseline data, the BBS score of the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group by 4.70 (95% CI: 4.03-5.37) points ( P<0.001). Ba Duan Jin showed significant improvement ( P<0.05) in all secondary outcomes after 6 months of exercise in the intervention group compared with the control group. Conclusions:This study showed that Ba Duan Jin exercise can improve balance in community-dwelling older adults aged 60-80. The longer the exercise time, the better the improvement.

Objective To investigate the latent classes of mental workload and related factors among cardiovascular nurses.Methods A convenience sample of 664 cardiovascular nurses were surveyed from Jun to Jul 2023.General information questionnaire,the Nurse Workload Index Scale and the Nursing Interruption Event Scale were conducted in the investigation.Latent class analysis and multiple Logistic regression analysis were employed to analyze the latent classes of nurses'mental workload and its related factors.Results Two latent classes were identified,named low mental workload group(25.90%)and a high mental workload group(74.10%).Multiple Logistic regression analysis revealed that educational qualifications(OR=1.641,95%CI:1.036-2.598),nursing interruption event scores(OR=1.060,95%CI:1.044-1.076),and the region of nurses(OR=0.688,95%CI:0.542-0.874)were the influencing factors for cardiovascular nurses'mental workload.Conclusion There are obvious categorical characteristics of cardiovascular nurses'mental workload,nurses with higher education,frequent interruption events,and from the eastern region have higher mental workload.Nursing managers need to focus on human resource allocation and optimize processes to reduce the occurrence of nursing interruptions.

Objective:To explore the gene mutations of Langerhans cell histiocytosis in children,and to analyze the correlation of BRAF V600E mutation with clinical features and prognosis of LCH,so as to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:Fluorescence PCR was used to detect gene mutations in paraffin-embedded tissue samples from 78 children with LCH,and the correlation of BRAF V600E mutation with clinical characteristics and prognosis of LCH in children was analyzed. Results:Among the 78 children,41 cases (52.6％) had BRAF V600E mutation,8 cases (10.3％) had MAP2K1 mutation,1 case (1.3％) had BRAF Exon 12 mutation,1 case (1.3％) had ARAF mutation,and 1 case (1.3％) had PIK3CA mutation. BRAF V600E mutation was not significantly correlated with sex,age,multisystem involvement,risk-organ involvement,CNS-risk lesions,and early treatment response in children with LCH (P>0.05),and it was also not significantly correlated with the recurrence and event-free survival (EFS) of children with LCH (P>0.05). Conclusion:LCH is an inflammatory myeloid tumor. BRAF V600E mutation is not correlated with clinical features,early treatment response,recurrence and prognosis of LCH.

Objective:To investigate the value of effective hepatic blood flow in predicting the occurrence of liver insufficiency after operation of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:The 15-minute clearance of Indocyanine Green(ICGR15)and EHBFwere measured in 123 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after hepatectomy.To compare the difference of ICGR15 and EHBF in different groups of liver function recovery and the incidence of postoperative liver function insufficiency in different groups of ICG R15 and EHBF.The diagnostic value of ICG R15 and EHBF was compared by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results:Of the 123 patients,41(33.3％)developed liver insufficiency after operation.The average values of ICG R15 and EHBF in patients with good liver function were(8.95±7.18)％and(1.01±0.37)min,respectively,while those in patients with liver insufficiency were(15.88±11.55)％and(0.75±0.28)min,respec-tively.The difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of postoperative liver in-sufficiency was 13.0％in EHBF≥1.0 L/min group and 45.5％in＜1.0 L/min group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The area under the ICG R15 ROC curve was 0.710(95％CI:0.616-0.804),the critical value was 7.6,the sensitivity was 78.0％,and the specificity was 59.8％.The area under the EHBF ROC curve was 0.718(95％CI:0.624-0.813),the critical value was 0.35,the sensitivity was 73.2％,and the specificity was 70.7％.Conclusion:EHBF can effec-tively predict the occurrence of liver insufficiency after hepatocellular carcinoma operation,and may have the same testing efficacy as ICGR15.

Purpose To evaluate the carotid artery elasticity and the influencing factors in the offspring of early-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus by RF-data based quantitative analysis on vessel stiffness.Materials and Methods We continuously encrolled 63 offspring of type 2 diabetes mellitus,depending on the parental diagnostic age of diabetes they were divided into two groups:32 cases of early-onset offspring group,31 cases of late-onset offspring group.32 healthy volunteers who were matched for age,gender and body mass index,were selected as controls.Real-time intima-media thickness and RF-data based quantitative analysis on vessel stiffness were employed to evaluate common carotid intima-media thickness,displacement,diameter,hardness coefficient and pulse wave velocity.The differences among the groups were compared.Results The intima-media thickness,pulse wave velocity and hardness coefficient in early-onset offspring group were higher than late-onset offspring group(t=0.054-1.228,P＜0.05),and displacement was lower than late-onset offspring group(t=0.048,0.109,both P＜0.05).Conclusion Carotid artery stiffness in the offspring of diabetes mellitus patients is significantly higher than the control group.And the carotid elasticity of early-onset offspring group decreased more obviously than late-onset group.
