ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of interference tasks and age on gait characteristics and task costs of children aged three to eight years. MethodsFrom April to August, 2021, 200 children from a kindergarten and primary school in Cangzhou, Hebei were enrolled to collect gait spatiotemporal parameters and kinematics data with infrared motion capture system; ground reaction force was collected with the Kistler force platform and simulated with Anybody 7.0, as walking naturally (standard gait), answering question (cognitive gait) and crossing obstacle (obstacle-crossing gait). ResultsA total of 182 children finished the test. The main effect of task was significant on spatiotemporal parameters (F > 5.167, P < 0.01), as well as age (F > 2.321, P < 0.05), except on stride width and speed; while the interaction effect of task and age was significant on double stance phase, single stance phase and step length (F > 3.040, P < 0.01). The main effect of task was significant on kinematics data (F > 83.019, P < 0.001), as well as age (F > 2.359, P < 0.05), except on range of motion of knee and maximum angular velocity of ankle; while the interaction effect of task and age was significant (F > 2.066, P < 0.05), except on range of motion of hip. The main effect of task and age was significant on kinetic parameters (F > 4.032, P < 0.05); while the interaction effect of task and age was significant (F > 2.189, P < 0.05), except on the strength of medial soleus, lateral gastrocnemius, medial gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior. The coefficient of variation was the most for cognitive gait, and then for the obstacle-crossing gait and standard gait. The main effect of task and age was significant on the cost of task for stride length and speed (F > 3.368, P < 0.01), while the interaction effect was not significant. ConclusionGait of early childhood is influenced by interference tasks and age. Under interference tasks, gait cycle increases, while single stance phase, stride length, frequency and speed decrease; and task costs increase, and overall gait stability decrease. Cognitive tasks impact on gait greater than obstacle crossing, which may be due to the higher costs of tasks. In terms of age, gait exhibits a non-linear age trend.

Angiostrongylus cantonensis is a food-borne zoonotic parasite, and human infection may cause eosinophilic meningitis. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) may regulate physiological and pathological processes at multiple biological levels; however, there are few studies pertaining to the regulatory role of ncRNAs in A. cantonensis infection. Based on publications retrieved from PubMed, Wanfang Data and CNKI, the regulatory role of ncRNAs in A. cantonensis infections mainly includes immune responses, cell apoptosis and signaling transduction, and ncRNAs may serve as biomarkers for diagnosis of angiostrongyliasis. This review summarizes the main roles of ncRNAs in A. cantonensis infections and the underlying mechanisms, so as to provide insights into diagnosis and treatment of angiostrongyliasis.

Objective To compare the biomechanical characteristics of lower limbs of young people with different body mass index (BMI) before and after the intervention of Baduanjin exercise, so as to provide references for scientific exercise and sport prescription for young Baduanjin practitioners with different BMIs. Methods Young volunteers with different BMI were divided into standard group, overweight group and obesity group. The BTS SMART 3D infrared motion capture system was used to capture the motion parameters and electromyography (EMG) parameters, the KISTLER dynamometer was used to collect the dynamic parameters, the AnyBody simulation software was used to calculate the kinematic parameters and dynamic parameters, and BTS SMART Analyzer was used to compare the different integral electromyography values. Results There was no significant difference in each parameter before the intervention of Baduanjin. After the intervention, the angle and angular velocity of the knee joint during extension and flexion in standard group, overweight group and obesity group, and the angular acceleration of the knee joint during extension and flexion in standard group significantly increased. Baduanjin significantly increased the knee flexion force and moment in standard group, overweight group and obesity group, and increased the hip flexion force and moment as well as ankle metatarsal flexion force and moment in standard group. Compared with obesity group, the knee flexion force and moment in standard group were significantly different. The knee joint force and moment were positively correlated with BMI. Baduanjin significantly increased muscle strength of iliopsoas, gluteus medius, piriformis, gluteus maximus, rectus femoris, sartorius, tibialis anterior, biceps femoris longhead, flexor digitorum longus, flexor pollicis longus, musculus peroneus longus and musculus peroneus brevis. Baduanjin significantly increased the integrated electromyogram (iEMG） of rectus femoris, tibialis anterior, biceps femoris. Conclusions Baduanjin can improve muscle strength and neuromuscular control ability of young people. The larger the BMI, the greater the flexion force and moment of the knee joint.

Objective The single leg support tree pose and Yan balace of yoga was selected to compare the biomechanical characteristics of lower limb joint angles, joint force and muscle strength for professional and non-professional yoga practitioners, so as to provide theoretical basis for scientific fitness of yoga beginners and exercise prescription determined by rehabilitation physicians. Methods BTS infrared motion capture system was used to collect kinematic data, Kistler forceplate was used to collect dynamic data, AnyBody 7.0 simulation software was used to calculate the joint force and muscle strength, and Biodex balance system was used to evaluate the stability of single support. Results In both tree pose and Yan balance, the muscle strength of lower limbs in professional group was greater than that in non-professional group. Support leg of tree pose: the muscle strength of the tibialis anterior, gluteus medius posterior, iliac medialis and sartorius in professional group was greater than that in non-professional group (P<0.05). Balance leg of tree pose: the muscle strength of the biceps femoris breve, sartorius, piriformis, gemellus inferior, iliac lateralis, iliac medialis, gluteus maximus inferior, obturator internus in professional group was greater than that in non-professional group (P<0.05). Support leg of Yan balance: the muscle strength of tibialis anterior, extensor digitorum longus, extensor hallucis longus, obturator internus, gluteus maximus superior in the professional group was greater than the non-professional group (P<0.05). Balance leg of Yan balance: The muscle strength of extensor hallucis longus in professional group was greater than that in non-professional group (P<0.05). The scores of front-rear, overall of PS-BI, overall, front-rear, left-right of athlete single leg (ASL) in professional group were significantly lower than those in non-professional group (P<0.05). Conclusions The joint angle will affect the degree of muscle exercise in lower limbs. During yoga practice, attention should be paid to the standard of postures and the exercise of corresponding muscles. In tree pose, the muscle strength of both legs in non-professional group was significantly different from that in professional group, and the difference in Yan balance was more obvious on the supporting leg. Yoga practice can improve the stability of single leg support in multiple directions.

Objective: To explore the forces of lower limbs during side slip and forward slip through biomechanical study, and to provide a theoretical basis for the development of lower limb movements. Methods: BTS SMART DX motion capture analysis system, 8 infrared high-speed cameras, Kistler three-dimensional dynamometer, BTS FREEEMG 1000 portable wireless surface electromyography system were used to collect real-time data of side slip and forward slip. SPSS 20.0 univariate analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the differences of indicators between different groups. Results: In the side sliding movement, there were significant differences in hip motion (P<0.01) between 3-year-old group and 5-year-old group, hip motion(P<0.01) between 4-year-old group and 5-year-old group, knee motion(P<0.05) and ankle motion(P<0.05) between 3-year-old group and 5-year-old group. There was a significant difference in hip motion(P<0.05) between 3-year-old group and 5-year-old group. The Fx force(P<0.01) and vertical Fy force(P<0.01) in the left and right directions of the 3-year-old group and the 5-year-old group were significantly different in the side-slip movement, while the Fx force(P<0.01) in the right and left directions of the 3-year-old group and the 5-year-old group were significantly different in the forward-slip movement, and the vertical Fy force(P<0.05) was significantly different. There were significant differences in the long head of biceps femoris, gastrocnemius and anterior tibial muscle between 3-year-old group and 5-year-old group (P<0.05). There were significant differences in the middle gluteal muscle, gracilis muscle, adductor magnus, pubic muscle, medial femoral muscle and soleus muscle between 3-year-old group and 5-year-old group (P<0.05). There was significant difference in the anterior tibial muscle (P<0.05) between the 3-year-old group and the 5-year-old group in the supporting stage, and significant difference in the gastrocnemius muscle(P<0.05) during the swing stage. There was significant difference in the anterior tibial muscle(P<0.05) between the 3-year-old group and the 5-year-old group in the swing stage. Conclusion The development of side slip and forward slip in children aged 3 to 5 years old showed that the results suggest motor development increases significantly with age among preschoolers. Rhythmic movements of side slip and forward slip should be selected in the critical period of children’s movement development at different ages, laying the foundation for good physical and mental development.

Objective: To investigate the dynamic change of paraquant-induced kidney injury in rats and the protective effect of edaravone. Methods: Eighty SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: the normal control group, paraquat poisoning group, edaravone treatment group and edaravone control group. The normal control group of 8 rats were given 1 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride through the abdominal cavity, and the same amount of fluid into the abdominal cavity after 30 minutes. The paraquat poisoning group of 24 rats were given 1 ml of paraquat solution (20 mg/kg) through the abdominal cavity to build poisoning models, and the same amount of 0.9% sodium chloride was injected into the abdominal cavity after 30 minutes. The edaravone treatment group of 24 rats were given edaravone (5 mg/kg) through the abdominal cavity after 30 minutes when the poisoning models were set up. The edaravone control group of 24 rats were given 1 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride through the abdominal cavity, and edaravone (5 mg/kg) was injected into the abdominal cavity after 30 minutes. In addition to the normal control group, the other groups processed 1 times a day to mantain 7 d. On 1, 3, 7, 21 d several rats in each group were excuted and the kidney tissue and serum samples were collected, then each pathological changes of the kidney were observed with light microscopy. Serum creatinine, KIM-1, NGAL were measured by ELISA, the expression of HSP70 protein in kidney were observed with immunohistochemical staining. Results: The pathological examination reveald that the damage of kidney tissue in the paraquat group was the most serious on 3 d, and the damage was consistently alleviated in edaravone treatment group at the same time, renal fibrosisn was unseen in each group until 21 d. Compared with normal control group, there was no statistically significant in edaravone control group (P>0.05) . The KIM-1 in blood and kidney in paraquat poisoning group were markedly increased in 1 d (P<0.05) . The NGAL in blood and creatinine were markedly increased in d7 (P<0.05) . The NGAL in kidney increased over time, but had no statistically difference with the control group (P>0.05) .Compared with paraquat poisoning group, the serum creatinine, KIM-1 in blood and kidney, the KIM-1 in kidney had decreased significantly in edaravone treatment group (P<0.05) . The NGAL in kidney has no statistically significant compared with the poisoning group (P>0.05) . HSP70 expression of kidney tissue in edaravone treatment group had significantly increased in d3 compared with the paraquat poisoning group (P<0.05) . Conclusion Edaravone can prompt a significant rise of HSP70 in kidney tissue, reduce KIM-1 and NGAL levels, and play a protective role in kidney injury of acute paraquat poisoning.

Objective To investigate the differential diagnostic features of subtpes of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) using CT scan.Methods The CT appearances of 53 RCCs,including 28 clear cell RCCs (CCRCC),6 Xp11.2 /TFE RCCs (Xp11.2 /TFE RCC),7 collecting ducts RCCs (CDC),12 chromophobe RCCs (CRCC),were retrospectively analyzed and compared with finding of pathology.Dynamic contrast-enhanced CT (DCE-CT) was conducted in each case after intravenous administration of contrast agent,and the data was analyzed by AVONA and LSD text.Results On unenhanced and enhanced CT,most CCRCCs and CDCs showed heterogeneous density (23/28,6/7),with necrosis (21/28,6/7),and most Xp11.2/TFE RCCs,CRCCs showed homogeneous density(5/6,8/12).Most CCRCCs,Xp11.2/TFE RCCs and CRCCs had clearly boundaries with well demonstrated at enhanced CT delayed phase (25/28,6/6,10/12),CDCs had unclearly boundaries (6/7),and most CCRCCs had lymph node or other metastasis (19/28).A phenomenon of quick staining and quick fainting was observed in CCRCCs.Xp11.2/TFE RCCs,CDCs,CRCCs showed delayed enhancement.On unenhanced CT,the Xp11.2/TFE RCC attenuation was greater than CCRCC,CDC,CRCC and normal renal cortex (53.7±4.1 vs 45.8±3.6 vs 41.4±2.4 vs 47.7±3.6 vs 41.5±5.1,F=5.458,P＜0.01,respectively).The enhancement degree was highest for CCRCCs,lowest for CDCs,and intermediate for Xp1 1.2/TFE RCCs and CRCCs.The enhancement degree of Xp1 1.2/TFE RCC was higher than that of the CDC and CRCC (P＜ 0.01).The enhancement degree of Xp11.2/TFE RCC and CRCC were higher than that of the normal renal medulla at cortical and medullary phases (P＜0.01),but lower than that of the renal medulla on delayed phase (P＜0.01).The enhancement degree of CDC were lower than that of the normal renal cortex and medulla on cortical,medullary and delayed phases (P＜0.05).Conclusions CT could distinctly show imaging features of CCRCC,Xp1 1.2/TFE RCC,CDC and CRCC,which were related to their pathological characteristics,and these features were helpful in predicting a specific subtype of RCC.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the changes in fecal flora and its correlation with the occurrence and progression of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

METHODSWe collected fresh fecal specimens from 167 IBD patients (including 113 with ulcerative colitis and 54 with Crohn's disease) and 54 healthy volunteers. The fecal flora was analyzed by gradient dilution method and the data of inflammatory markers including WBC, PLT, CRP and ESR were collected to assess the association between the fecal flora and the inflammatory markers.

RESULTSThe species Enterrococcus (6.60∓0.23, P<0.01), Saccharomyces (2.22∓0.27, P<0.05), Bacteriodes (5.57∓0.28, P<0.001), Bifidobacterium (5.08∓0.30, P<0.01), Peptococcus (6.22∓0.25, P<0.001), Lactobacillus (6.00∓0.26, P<0.001), and Clostridium (3.57∓0.30, P<0.05) all increased significantly, while Eubacterium (1.56∓0.24, P<0.01) reduced markedly in patients with ulcerative colitis compared with those in the control subjects. Enterrococcus (6.93∓0.28, P<0.01), Saccharomyces (2.73∓0.37, P<0.01), Bacteriodes (4.32∓0.52, P<0.05), Bifidobacterium (4.88∓0.42, P<0.05), Peptococcus (6.19∓0.32, P<0.01) and Lactobacillus (4.73∓0.47, P<0.001) all increased significantly and Eubacterium (1.01∓0.29, P<0.01) and Clostridium (0.87∓0.31, P<0.01) decreased in patients with Crohn's disease. The positivity rates of bacterial culture were consistent with the results of quantitative analysis of the fecal flora. The changes in fecal flora did not show a significant correlation with these inflammatory markers.

CONCLUSIONIBD patients have fecal flora imbalance compared with the healthy controls, and this imbalance may contribute to the occurrence and progression of IBD. The decline of Eubacterium contributes to the occurrence and development of IBD.

OBJECTIVE: We explore the deformity degrees of external ear, mastoid process, tympanic cavity and auditory ossicle by the HRCT features of bilateral and unilateral patients of congenital abnormality of external and middle ear for preoperative analysis and selection for surgical approaches. METHOD: Twenty-nine patients were enrolled in our study, and HRCT were performed on all patients. There were 23 unilateral ears deformity (13 right and 10 left), 6 patients with bilateral ears deformity in the study group. Nineteen patients (19 ears) were treated with operations. RESULT: The deformity degree of auricle was correlated with that of external auditory meatus, and mastoid process develops bad aeration extent with bad tympanic cavity development in 35 ears in our research. We got data of shortest distance from tympanic cape to atresia board in HRCT, (0.59 +/- 0.13)cm in comparison group, (0.45 +/- 0.19)cm in unilateral deformity group, (0.32 +/- 0.12)cm in bilateral deformity group, and there were significant differences compared the two deformity groups with the comparison group. There were 1 ear with normal auditory ossicle (2.86%), 5 ears with fixation of stapes foot board (14.29%), 3 ears with no auditory ossicle (8.57%); 26 ears with malleus and incus abnormality (74.29%). Abnormality of malleus was always concomitant with that of incus. Degeneration of malleus, the joint amalgamation of malleus and incus were discovered mostly in this research. CONCLUSION The deformity degree of auricle is correlated with that of external auditory meatus, and mastoid process develops bad aeration extent with bad tympanic cavity development in 35 ears in our research. The shortest distance from tympanic cape to atresia board in HRCT in unilateral ears deformity group are shorten 0.15 cm in that of comparison group. And that of bilateral ears deformity group are shorten 0.25 cm in that of comparison group. The main abnormality of auditory ossicle in our research present in both malleus and incus, and degeneration of malleus and the joint amalgamation of malleus and incus are main types.
