Osteoporosis can be induced by various factors including prolonged glucocorticoid usage, diminished estrogen levels, secondary hyperparathyroidism, and alterations in the microenvironment of bone tissue. The bone metabolism imbalance(osteogenic-lipogenic imbalance) plays a crucial role in the development of osteoporosis. This imbalance is primarily driven by an increase in the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into adipocytes and a decrease in their differentiation into osteoblasts, thus forming the core of the osteogenic-lipogenic imbalance observed in osteoporosis. The bone morphogenesis protein(BMP) plays a crucial role in the regulation of the osteogenic-lipid balance in osteoporosis. This regulatory function is accomplished through both the Smad-dependent and Smad-independent pathways. This review centers on the Smad-dependent and Smad-independent pathways facilitated by BMP, offering a comprehensive overview of the potential mechanisms through which BMP-2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 contribute to the regulation of osteogenesis and lipid metabolism in osteoporosis via these pathways. In order to present novel insights for the identification of efficacious targets for clinical anti-osteoporosis medications.
2.Ethical defense and ethical principles of standardized patient application
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2022;21(8):980-984
The application of "standardized patient" in clinical teaching of our country has the irreplaceable function, but it is still unavoidably challenged by ethics. From two aspects of medical ethics and teaching ethics, this paper puts forward the ethical basis for the justification of standardized patient application. And in order to ensure that the legitimate interests of standardized patients are not infringed, clinical teachers applying standardized patients must follow the principles of respect, protection of privacy and ethical supervision. Only in a legal and reasonable vision, can we promote the orderly development of standardized patients, and provide services for more doctors, medical students and patients.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2021;20(3):360-366
In order to create a high-quality online course of Medical Ethics, this research group retrieved 16 domestic MOOC platforms in order to understand the current status of the online course construction of Medical Ethicsin Chinese universities before the outbreak of epidemic. The survey results showed that 12 teaching teams from 11 universities have built the Medical EthicsMOOC on 8 network platforms. These 12 online courses have not only played an important role in the teaching of this course during the epidemic, but also would provide valuable experience for leading Chinese universities in the online learning and teaching reform of Medical Ethics. Finally, there are three suggestions for the current problems about online teaching of medical education: firstly, increase network speed and reduce network traffic charges; secondly, utilize virtual space to make up for the lack of real space; thirdly, set up cross-professional, interdisciplinary and trans-school's compound golden courses teaching teams.

Objective:To establish a method for the determination of omeprazole delayed release capsules and investigate the be-havior of reference preparations to provide experimental basis for generic drugs quality consistency evaluation. Methods:According to the first dissolution method (basket method) stated in 0. 931 of Chinese Pharmacopeia (2015 edition), the type of release media, solu-bility and stability of omeprazole in different media, effect of different treatment methods on the drug adsorption in the solution, differ-ent rotation speed and the methodology of ultraviolet spectrophotometry were investigated. Results:The rotation speed was 75 r·min-1 with the dissolution medium volume of 900 ml. The dissolution profiles of omeprazole delayed release capsules in three different media ( pH 6. 0 phosphate buffer, pH 6. 8 phosphate buffer and water containing 3% Tween-80) were determined with online filteration. The solubility of omeprazole in the different media was 0. 123, 0. 078 and 0. 275 mg·ml-1 , respectively. The results showed that ome-prazole was degraded 44%, 8% and 14% in 2 h in the above three release media, and degraded up to 43% in 6 h in water containing 3% Tween-80. The linear of omeprazole was 0. 209 4-20. 94, 0. 204 8-20. 48 and 0. 2016-20. 16 μg·ml-1 with the average recovery of 99.3% (RSD=0.7%,n=12), 99.7% (RSD=0.9%,n=12) and 99.5% (RSD=0.6%,n=12) respectively in the three media. Conclusion:The method is accurate and reliable, which can be used to study the quality consistency of omeprazole delayed re-lease capsules.

Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effect of the water-soluble preparation of curcumin on tumor angiogenesis induced by alginate-encapsulated colon carcinoma C26 cell line in mice. Methods: The water-soluble preparation of curcumin was made by forming inclusion compound of curcumin with hydroxypropyl-?-cyclodextrin (C-HP-?-CD). Subcutaneous imbedding of alginate-encapsulated colon carcinoma C26 cells was used to create tumor bearing model in BALB/c mice. Then the mouse models were intraperitoneally injected with C-HP-?-CD, TNF-70 (as positive control), or HP-?-CD(as negative control). The angiogenesis in the alginate beads was observed under light microscope, floresencent microscope, and transmission electron microscope. The fluorescein isothiacyanate-dextran (FITC-Dextran) tracing technique was used to observe the inhibitory effect of the inclusion compound of curcumin on angiogenesis induced by colon carcinoma C26 cells in alginate beads. Results: The C-HP-?-CD and the mouse model of subcutaneous alginate-encapsulated colon carcinoma C26 cells were successfully created. Transmission electron microscope showed angiogenesis in alginate-encapsulated colon carcinoma C26 cells; claval endothelial cells were seen in some lumens. Optical microscope and the fluorescence microscope showed that the angiogenesis density of the positive group and curcumin groups were obviously lower than those of the negative control group; no obvious difference at vessel morphosis was found among the 3 alginate-encapsulated groups. FITC-Dextran tracing technology found that the fluorescent intensity of the negative control group was significantly higher than those of the positive control group and the curcumin group (P
