Objective: In order to master the epidemic trend of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and evaluate the effect of prevention and control, we evaluate the epidemic dynamics of COVID-19 in mainland China, Hubei province, Wuhan city and other provinces outside Hubei from January 16 to February 14, 2020. Methods: We collected the daily number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases by nucleic acid detection reported by the National Health Commission from January 16, 2020 to February 14, 2020. The analysis includes the epidemic curve of the new confirmed cases, multiple of the new confirmed cases for period-over-period, multiple of the new confirmed cases for fixed-base, and the period-over-period growth rate of the new confirmed cases. Results: From January 16 to February 14, 2020, the cumulative number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in mainland China was 50 031, including 37 930 in Hubei province, 22 883 in Wuhan city and 12 101 in other provinces outside Hubei. The peak of the number of new confirmed cases in other provinces outside Hubei was from January 31 to February 4, 2020, and the peak of new confirmed cases in Wuhan city and Hubei province was from February 5 to February 9, 2020. The number of new confirmed cases in other provinces outside Hubei showed a significant decline (23% compared with the peak) from February 5 to February 9, 2020, while the number of new confirmed cases in Wuhan city (30% compared with the peak) and Hubei Province (37% compared with the peak) decreased significantly from February 10 to February 14, 2020. Conclusion The epidemic prevention and control measures taken by the state and governments at all levels have shown very significant effects, effectively curbing the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in China.

Objective:To examine the ultrasound features and clinical characteristics of the intestinal ischemia secondary to acute mesenteric venous thrombosis (AMVT).Methods:From January 2016 to June 2019, 11 patients were diagnosed as intestinal ischemia secondary to AMVT confirmed by surgical pathology or CT in Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The patients included 7 males and 4 females, aging of (52.8±11.9) years (range: 34 to 81 years).The clinical characters and ultrasound features were retrospectively reviewed.Results:Abdomen pain was the chief complaint of all patients. Other complaints include 2 cases of blood in the stool, 1 case of hematemesis, 2 cases of vomiting, 1 case of diarrhea. Six patients showed rebound pain on physical examination. All patients had elevated white blood cell account and D-Dimer. Nine patients had a thrombosis in the portal vein simultaneously. All 11 patients underwent the CT scan including 10 contrast-enhanced CT. Mesenteric venous thrombosis was detected in 10 cases who underwent contrast-enhanced CT imaging. On CT imaging, 11 patients demonstrated intestinal wall thicken, 5 patients showed intestinal dilation. Eight patients underwent superior mesenteric venous ultrasound examination. Of them, 7 patients were correctly diagnosed as AMVT. Of the 10 patients who underwent abdominal ultrasound, 5 patients showed intestinal lesions including intestinal wall thicken in 4 patients and intestinal dilation in 1 patient. Peritoneal fluid was detected in 10 patients by ultrasound, which was consistent with CT. Ten patients underwent surgical procedures while 1 patient received conservative treatment.Conclusion:Ultrasound is an accurate imaging method in diagnosing superior mesenteric vein thrombosis and can detect intestinal wall thickening, intestinal dilation, and peritoneal fluid.

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the efficacy and safety of apremilast in the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis systematically. METHODS： Retrieved from PubMed， Embase， Cochrane Library， VIP， CNKI and CBM， RCTs about apremilast or apremilast combined with other drugs （trial group） versus placebo （control group） in the treatment of moderate- to-severe plaque psoriasis were collected. Meta-analysis was conducted by using Rev Man 5.3 statistical software after literature screening， data extraction and quality evaluation with bias risk evaluation tool of Cochrane System Evaluator Manual 5.1.0. RESULTS： Totally 7 studies were included， involving 2 332 patients. Results of Meta-analysis showed that case number of psoriasis assessment and severity index （PASI） decreased by 75％ （PASI 75％） [OR＝6.44，95％CI（4.90，8.45），P＜0.000 01]， PASI 90％ [OR＝8.13， 95％CI（4.65， 14.22）， P＜0.000 01] and sPGA 0 or 1 [OR＝3.89，95％CI（3.00，5.05），P＜0.000 01]， the incidence of ADR [OR＝1.87，95％CI（1.44，2.43）， P＜0.000 01] in trial group were significantly more or higher than control group. Subgroup analysis by apremilast dose showed that case number of 20 mg PASI 75％ [OR＝4.72，95％CI（2.77，8.05），P＜0.000 01]， 30 mg PASI 75％ [OR＝7.05，95％CI（5.13，9.69），P＜0.000 01]， 20 mg PASI 90％ [OR＝4.27，95％CI（1.80，10.09），P＝0.001]， 30 mg PASI 90％ [OR＝11.11，95％CI（5.27，23.43），P＜0.000 01]， 20 mg sPGA 0 or 1 [OR＝2.82，95％CI（1.51，5.26），P＝0.001]， 30 mg sPGA 0 or 1 [OR＝4.13，95％CI（3.10，5.50），P＜0.000 01]， the incidence of 30 mg ADR [OR＝1.94，95％CI（1.51，2.49），P＜0.000 01] in trial group were significantly more or higher than control group. There was no statistical significance in the incidence of serious ADR [OR＝1.27，95％CI（0.77，2.07），P＝0.35] or case number of ADR leading to withdrawal [OR＝1.48，95％CI（1.00，2.20），P＝0.05] between 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS： Apremilast is effective for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in dose-dependent manner and improve the quality of life， but increase the incidence of ADR.

OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of 2 kinds of selective Janus kinase 1 （JAK-1） inhibitor Upadacitinib and Filgotinibfor in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis， and to provide evidence-based reference for clinical treatment. METHODS： Retrieved from PubMed， Medline， Embase， the Cochrane library， CBM， CJFD， Wanfang database and VIP， RCTs about placebo （control group） versus Upadacitinib or Filgotinibfor （trial group） in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis on the basis of methotrexate or other antirheumatic drugs were collected during the establishment of the database to Jan. 2019. Meta-analysis of therapeutic efficacy [the proportion of patients with remission rate of 20％ （ACR20）， ACR50， ACR70 according to the criteria of American Rheumatism Association， the proportion of patients with 28-joint disease activity score （DAS28）＜3.2] and safety [the incidence of adverse event （AE）， severe adverse event （SAE）， infection， severe infection， herpes zoster， liver injury] were conducted by using Rev Man 5.3 software after data extraction and quality evaluation with Cochrane system evaluator manual 5.1.0. RESULTS： A total of 8 RCTs were included， involving 2 738 patients. Meta-analysis showed that the proportion of patients with ACR20 [OR＝3.37，95％CI（2.80，4.05），P＜0.001]， ACR50 [OR＝3.78，95％CI（2.98，4.78），P＜0.001] and ACR70 [OR＝4.31，95％CI（3.05，6.09），P＜0.001]， the proportion of patients with DAS28＜3.2 [OR＝3.86，95％CI（2.98，5.00），P＜0.001]， the incidence of AE [OR＝1.33，95％CI（1.11，1.61）， P＝0.002]， the incidence of infection [OR＝1.43，95％CI（1.12，1.81），P＝0.004] in trial group were significantly higher than control group； there was no statistical significance in other indexes （P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS： JAK-1 inhibitors Upadacitinib and Filgotinib can improve the effect indexes of ACR20， ACR50 and ACR70 and the proportion of patients with DAS28＜3.2 of rheumatoid arthritis patients； it can not increase the incidence of SAE， severe infection， herpes zoster， liver injury， but can increase the risk of AE and infection.

Objective To explore the activition and polarization of microglia in the epileptic rats induced by lithium chloride-pilocarpine. Methods One hundred male SD rats were randomly divided into five groups: control group and different time points model groups including 1d,3d,7d and 14d. Epilepsy models were established by lithium chloride-pilocarpine intraperitoneal injection. The control group was given the same dosage of normal saline. The morphology change was detected by immunofluorescence,and the expressions of iNOS and Arg-1 were determined by IHC at respective time points. Results Compared the model groups with control group,microglia was activated,synapsis was shorten,volume got bigger,most of them seemed as amoebocyte,the expression of iNOS increased and Arg-1 decreased,especially at 3d.ConclusionThe results from this study indicated that microglia was activated and polarized in epileptic rats induced by pilocarpine.

Objective To explo the antioxidant effect and molecular mechanism of gastrodin (Gas) in epilepsy (EP) rats induced by LiCl-pilocarpine (PILO) . Methods Eighty male SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: sham group, EP group, therapy groups (pretreated with 60 mg/kg, 90 mg/kg, 120 mg/kg of gastrodin respectively) . The EP model was esteblished by peritoneal injection of LiCl-PILO. Therapy groups were pretreated with various concerntration of Gas. The control group was given the same dosage of normal saline. The alteration of behavior was observed, the concentration of catalase (CAT), glutathion (GSH), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathion reductase (GR), total antioxidtion (T-AOC) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in rats brain cortex were detected by chemical colorimetric method, phosphorylation of p38 was determined by western blot. Results There was no EP seizure in sham group,and the EP seizure degree in therapy groups (gas pretreated groups) was significantly decreased,and had statistically significant difference with EP group (P<0.05) . The EP model rats exhibited a significant decrease in the concentration of endogenous antioxidants (CAT, GSH, SOD, GR and T-AOC), while an increase of the concentration of MDA and phosphorylation p38 protein as compared to sham group (P<0.05) . After treatment of the Gas,treatment group rats attenuated the seizure degree,exhibited a significant increase of the concentration of endogenous antioxidants (P<0.05),while a decrease in concentration of MDA and phosphorylation of p38 as compared to model group (P<0.05) . Conclusion Gas may have a neuroprotective role in central nervous system of epileptic rats modle by down-regulateing the seizure degree and the activity of p38 kinase and up-regulateing the content of endogenous antioxidants.

Objective To prepare and characterize salinomycin sodium‐loaded nano liposomes(SLN) .Methods The nano liposomes were prepared by a thin‐film dispersion method .The formula of SLN was optimized by regulating the cholesterol ratio of the nano liposomes ,using the encapsulation efficacy (EE) of SLN as the primary outcome measure .Results Transmission e‐lectron microscope (TEM) showed that SLN was round and had a good dispersion .Dynamic laser scatter (DLS) showed that SLN was of a desired size of 99 nm ,and zeta potential of -33 .5 mV .EE of SLN was 85 .7% and drug loading of 6 .7% .Ac‐cording to the formulation of nano liposomes ,the concentration of salinomycin sodium in water was greatly improved by 15 folds .Additionally ,the nano liposomes were observed to exhibit sustained release characteristics .Conclusion Salinomycin sodi‐um‐loaded nanoliposomes of a desired size of about 100 nm were obtained ,which were well dispersion ,and high EE and drug loading .Solid pharmaceutics foundation for the activity examination of SLN was provided in this research .

Objective To investigate the synergic ratio of sorafenib (SO) and sulforaphane (SF) against the hepatocellu‐lar carcinoma cell line HepG2 in vitro .Methods The synergic effect of SO combined with SF against HepG2 cells was deter‐mined by the CCK8 assay (the synergic effect was determined by combination index (CI) value:CI>1 .1 ,antagonistic;0 .91 .1) ,whereas 20∶1 ,5∶1 and 1∶5 ratio resul‐ted in synergistic activity (CI<0 .9) .Furthermore ,10∶1 ratio acted as an additive effective (0 .9

This study is to report the preparation of complexes of Ad5 and anionic liposomes (AL-Ad5), the amplification of adenoviruses with enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP) reporter gene performed by HEK 293 cells, the adenoviral vectors purified by cesium chloride gradient centrifugation, and the titer of adenovirus determined by cytopathic effect (CPE) method, hexon capsid immunoassay and quantitative-PCR (Q-PCR), separately. The prescription and experiment conditions were optimized by central composite design (CCD). The complexes of Ad5 and AL-Ad5 were formulated by the calcium-induced phase change method. The morpholopy, particle size and zeta potential were detected by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), respectively. Additionally, the bicolourable fluoresce-labeled complexes (F(labeled)-AL-Ad5) were prepared and their intracellular location in MDCK cells was detected by confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). The results indicate that the complexes of AL-Ad5 exhibited a uniform distribution with a particle size of 211 +/- 10 nm and a zeta potential of -41.2 +/- 2.2 mV. The result of CLSM demonstrates that the intracellular location of red fluoresce-labeled adenovirus was consistent with that of green fluoresce-labeled liposomes suggesting that the naked adenovirus was well encapsulated by the anionic liposomes in complexes of AL-Ad5.
