Objective To investigate the prognosis and satisfaction of the R2 intervention procedure and develop related predictive models. Methods The clinical data of 64 patients with primary craniofacial hyperhidrosis who underwent R2 intervention surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from November 2018 to October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. By statistically analyzing the risk factors for compensatory hyperhidrosis (CH) and satisfaction, and conducting feature screening, a relevant prediction model was established. Results Finally, 51 patients were collected, including 43 (84.3%) males and 8 (15.7%) females, with an average age of (30.27±7.22) years. Overall postoperative satisfaction was high, with only 5.9% of patients expressing regret about the surgery. However, 92.2% of patients experienced CH. The onset of postoperative CH was most prominent within the first 3 months postoperatively, with the incidence rate stabilizing thereafter. Preoperative heart rate and R2 sympathetic nerve clipping were identified as independent risk factors for severe CH. The preoperative body mass index, the degree of sweating in the chest and abdomen, are significantly correlated with postoperative satisfaction. Conclusion The R2 intervention surgery effectively alleviates the symptoms of primary craniofacial hyperhidrosis, and patient satisfaction is high.

Objective To compare the clinical characteristics, peripheral blood inflammatory cells and levels of oxidative stress indicators between severe asthma and non-severe asthma patients, analyze the effects of neutrophils and oxidative stress molecules on the severity of asthma, and build a biological model for early prediction of severe asthma. Methods From Aug 2018 to Jul 2019,67 adult patients with stable asthma in our hospital were enrolled in this study. The clinical characteristics, peripheral blood inflammatory cells and levels of oxidative stress indicators of severe asthma group and non-severe asthma group were compared.Single factor Logistic regression analysis was conducted on severe asthma to screen out the most important five variables.Multifactor Logistic regression analysis was further conducted to establish a prediction model for severe asthma. Results There were 25 severe asthma patients in this cohort, who had a longer course of disease, more frequent acute attacks, poorer asthma control, higher peripheral neutrophils, more severe obstructive ventilation dysfunction, lower myeloperoxidase(MPO)level and higher superoxide dismutase(SOD)than non-severe asthma patients. The patients with higher peripheral blood neutrophil count or proportion were more likely to show severe asthma, more frequent acute attacks, and more obvious reduction of pulmonary ventilation function.A panel of biomarkers, centered on peripheral blood neutrophil count and oxidative stress indicators SOD,human 8-epi-prostaglandin F2α(8-iso-PGF2α),could build a model to predict severe asthma. Conclusion There are significant differences in clinical characteristics, peripheral blood inflammatory cells, and oxidative stress index levels between severe asthma patients and non-severe asthma patients. In stable asthma patients, levels of neutrophils and oxidative stress indicators such as SOD had an impact on the severity of asthma. The prediction model of severe asthma established on this basis provides a new idea for early recognition of severe asthma.

Objective To explore the biomarkers and potential mechanisms of chronic restraint stress-induced myocardial injury in hyperlipidemia ApoE-/-mice.Methods The hyperlipidemia combined with the chronic stress model was established by restraining the ApoE-/-mice.Proteomics and bioinformatics techniques were used to describe the characteristic molecular changes and related regulatory mechanisms of chronic stress-induced myocardial injury in hyperlipidemia mice and to explore potential diagnostic biomarkers. Results Proteomic analysis showed that there were 43 significantly up-regulated and 58 sig-nificantly down-regulated differentially expressed proteins in hyperlipidemia combined with the restraint stress group compared with the hyperlipidemia group.Among them,GBP2,TAOK3,TFR1 and UCP1 were biomarkers with great diagnostic potential.KEGG pathway enrichment analysis indicated that fer-roptosis was a significant pathway that accelerated the myocardial injury in hyperlipidemia combined with restraint stress-induced model. The mmu_circ_0001567/miR-7a/Tfr-1 and mmu_circ_0001042/miR-7a/Tfr-1 might be important circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory networks related to ferroptosis in this model. Conclusion Chronic restraint stress may aggravate myocardial injury in hyperlipidemia mice via ferrop-tosis.Four potential biomarkers are selected for myocardial injury diagnosis, providing a new direction for sudden cardiac death(SCD)caused by hyperlipidemia combined with the restraint stress.

Stress is a non-specific adaptive response of organisms to internal and external stimuli, which helps maintain the homeostasis of the body's internal environment. However, when the stress response exceeds the body's adaptation threshold,a variety of diseases will be induced. The morbidity and mortality of breast cancer rank the highest among female malignant tumors.Professor LIN Yi,the first master of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the field of breast diseases who founded the theory of'treating breast diseases from the perspective of six stagnations',believes that six stagnations are the core pathogenesis of breast cancer, and six stagnations are closely related to the body's stress response system.TCM has unique advantages in adjusting the balance of stress homeostasis.By reviewing the classical TCM theory, the theory of'treating breast diseases from the perspective of six depressions'and the modern stress theory, this paper put forward the theory of'stress-based breast cancer prevention & treatment',and expounded the pathogenesis features, pathogenic characteristics and molecular mechanism of stress factors in mediating the development and progression of breast cancer. Moreover, the core idea and treatment principle based on the regulation of stress homeostasis were proposed, and the prescription and medication guided by the theory of'stress-based breast cancer prevention & treatment'were summarized. The establishment of the theory of'stress-based breast cancer prevention & treatment'enriches the theoretical system of breast cancer in TCM,and is expected to provide a new approach for improving the clinical prognosis of breast cancer patients.
