Objective:To compare the value of 3 methods (threshold method, visual method and CT method) based on 18F-FDG PET-CT for qualitative diagnosis of solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN). Methods:The clinical characteristics, pathological results, CT signs and maximum standardized uptake value (SUV max) of 226 SPN patients who underwent 18F-FDG PET-CT and met lung imaging reporting and data system (Lung-RADS1.1) grading criteria grade 2-4 in Shanxi Province Cancer Hospital from January 2015 to January 2019 were retrospectively analyzed, and the diagnostic efficacy of threshold method (according to SUV max), visual method [according to the degree of fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in the mediastinum or liver blood pool] and CT method (according to Lung-RADS1.1 grading criteria) for SPN were compared by using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The highest diagnostic accuracy of CT method and the highest diagnostic accuracy of threshold method and visual method were combined as PET-CT comprehensive diagnosis method, and the diagnostic efficiency of which was compared with the other methods. Results:Among the 226 patients with SPN, 174 cases were malignant and 52 cases were benign in pathology. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) of CT method 2 (defined Lung-RADS1.1 grade 4A and below as benign, grade 4B and above as malignant) in CT methods for qualitative diagnosis of SPN was 0.622, the sensitivity was 87.93%, and the accuracy was 76.11%, the diagnostic efficiency was higher than method 2. The AUC of the threshold method 1 (defined solid nodules that SUV max≥2.5 and ground-glass nodules that SUV max≥1.14 as malignant, the others as benign) in threshold methods for qualitative diagnosis of SPN was 0.675, the sensitivity was 85.06%, and the accuracy was 76.99%, the diagnostic efficiency was higher than other methods in the threshold methods and visual methods. The AUC of PET-CT comprehensive diagnosis method (combination of CT method 2 and threshold method 1) for qualitative diagnosis of SPN was 0.652, the sensitivity was 97.70%, and the accuracy was 82.74%, the diagnostic efficiency was higher than other methods. Conclusions:There is no significant difference among threshold method, visual method and CT method based on 18F-FDG PET-CT in qualitative diagnosis of SPN. Objective:To explore the evolution of CT characteristics of the "reversed halo sign" of pulmonary tuberculosis, and to further improve the recognition of its CT signs. Methods:Clinical and CT data of 12 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who were clinically and pathologically confirmed and accompanied with CT manifestation of "reversed halo sign" in First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from August 2013 to April 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. Pathological and imaging contrastl analysis was performed on 1 patient undergoing surgical treatment. Results:Among 12 cases with "reversed halo sign", there were 2 cases with single lesion in unilateral lung, 2 cases with multiple lesions in unilateral lung, and 8 cases with multiple lesions in bilateral lungs. Three cases showed only "reversed halo sign", 9 cases showed both halo-like sign and uniform fireworks sign. "Tree-in-bud "sign was found in all 12 patients in the outer ring of the "reversed halo sign". Eight patients received three or more CT examinations, and six of them showed reduction of density and volume of the "reversed halo sign" after standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment. Under the natural course of the disease in two cases, the overall enlargement of the lesion was observed in 1 case, and the overall density of the lesion was reduced and the outer ring wall of the "reversed halo sign" was thinned in 1 case. The pathology of one case after surgical lobectomy showed granulomatous inflammatory nodules of varying sizes containing Langerhans nodule giant cells in the lung parenchyma. The typical caseous necrotic granulomatous nodules were rare here. The "reversed halo sign" showed dense Langerhans nodules in the outer ring, sparse central areas with fibrous hyperplasia and alveolar wall thickening. Conclusions:The outer ring of "reversed halo sign" of pulmonary tuberculosis shows as "tree-in-bud" sign, and its center shows as the fine reticulation pattern. After effective anti-tuberculosis treatment, both the overall density of "reversed halo sign" and the lesion size reduced. Finally, the lesions mostly present as as fine grid shadows for a long time.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2020;28(4):214-218
Objective:
To investigate the role of lncRNAs in the invasion and metastasis of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma (SACC) cells.
Methods:
With SACC-LM as the experimental group and SACC83 as the control group, lncRNA chips were used to screen the differentially expressed lncRNAs. The differentially expressed lncRNAs were further verified by real-time quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR). The invasion and migration abilities of the adenoid cystic carcinoma cell lines before and after transfection with lncRNA siRNAs were detected by invasion and migration experiments. The clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients with different expression of lncRNAs and SACC were analyzed.
Results:
The microarray showed that ADAMTS9-AS2 was highly expressed in the SACC-LM cells. Real-time quantitative RT-PCR further confirmed that ADAMTS9-AS2 was significantly upregulated in the SACC-LM cells. Invasion and migration experiments showed that the invasion and migration were significantly reduced after the expression level of ADAMTS9-AS2 was downregulated (P < 0.001). Analysis of the clinicopathological data showed that ADAMTS9-AS2 was highly expressed in SACC. High expression of ADAMTS9-AS2 was associated with poor prognosis and a high tumor metastasis rate in SACC patients.
Conclusion
High expression of ADAMTS9-AS2 promotes the migration and invasion of SACC cells. ADAMTS9-AS2 is upregulated in the SACC tissues and is related to a high metastasis rate and poor prognosis.

Objective To explore the skills and summarize the experience in the establishment of orthotopic liver transplantation rat models from donation after cardiac death (DCD). Methods According to the time of warm ischemia, 120 rats were divided into 3 groups: group A (warm ischemia for 0 min, n=40 pairs), group B (warm ischemia for 10 min, n=40 pairs) and group C (warm ischemia for 20 min, n=40 pairs). Orthotopic liver transplantation was performed by the modified two-cuff technique in 3 groups. The time of each stage of surgery was recorded in 3 groups. The survival rate at the end of surgery, 24 h, 72 h and 7 d after surgery was recorded in 3 groups. The dead rats were immediately subject to anatomical examination to identify the cause of death. Results The cold ischemia time of donor liver, anhepatic phase and operation time of the recipients did not significantly differ among three groups (all P>0.05). In groups A, B and C, the survival rate at the end of surgery was 97%, 97%, and 100% respectively. The survival rate at postoperative 24 h was 92%, 90% and 92% respectively. The survival rate at postoperative 72 h was 90%, 80% and 77% respectively. The survival rate at postoperative 7 d was 85%, 70% and 57% respectively. The survival rate at the end of surgery, postoperative 24 h and 72 h did not significantly differ among 3 groups (all P>0.05). At postoperative 7 d, the survival rate in group C was significantly lower than that in group A (P<0.05). Surgical operation was the major cause of intraoperative and postoperative 24 h death. Bile leakage and ischemic hepatic failure were the causes of death at postoperative 72 h. Biliary duct complications were the main causes of death at postoperative 7 d. The quantity of rats developing with biliary duct complications was increased along with the prolongation of warm ischemic time. Conclusions The success of stable establishment of rat models with orthotopic liver transplantation from DCD depends upon the protection of the liver and biliary function. The difficulty lies in the anastomosis of the suprahepatic inferior vena cava and the shortening of anhepatic phase.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a chronic renal structure change and dysfunction caused by a variety of causes. The incidence and prevalence of CKD have been on the rise, becoming a major global health problem. An increasing number of studies had shown that one of the important indicators of CKD progression was the disorder of gut microbiome and elevated levels of sernm endotoxin.Modern physicians of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) believed that the main pathogenesis of CKD was spleen and kidney deficiency. And the therapeutic regimen was invigorating spleen and nourishing the kidney.Spleen is in the middle burner. It has the function of transportation and resistance to evil, which was extremely similar to the function of gut microbiome in metabolism and immunity. The latter might be one of the biological bases of physiological function of spleen. This comprehensive review presented the modern theoretical basis of spleen-based TCM treatment methods for CKD from the insight of modern gut microbiome and metabolism.Firstly, gut microbiome and its metabolism were associated with the spleen in TCM theory.Gut microbiome affected individual metabolism and immune function, which could provide a modern biological basis for explaining the physiological function of the spleen.Secondly, gut microbiome and its metabolism were correlated with CKD:intestinal flora disturbance occurred in CKD patients, producing enterogenous toxins as their metabolites, which become the important factors affecting prognosis.Thirdly,as for its origin, development and current status based on the spleen theory,CKD was one of various consumptive diseases.Spleen insufficiency was one of their critical pathogenic mechanisms. Therefore, tonifying the spleen should be a treatment method to maintain throughout the entire treatment. On the basis of our previous clinical studies and the hypothesis of gut microbiome and metabolism,we proposed further studies which were also based on system biology and its technology.

Objective To explore the value of abnormal imaging findings on susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) in delayed graft function (DGF). Methods The conventional MRI and SWI images of 26 cases with DGF and 20 cases with normal renal function of transplanted kidneys were retrospectively analyzed. Patients with cysts and angiomyolipomas were excluded. Normal structures of transplanted kidney were identified. If lesions of abnormal signal intensity were found in the transplanted kidney, the location, border and signal intensity compared to renal cortex would be analyzed. The differences in signal intensity between the abnormal signal lesions and normal renal cortex in the same SWI layer of DGF were compared by using independent-sample t test. The differences in positive detection rate of discovering the abnormal signal lesions in DGF between conventional MRI and SWI were compared by using McNemar test. Results Of the 26 cases with DGF, one case was found to exhibit abnormally low signal lesions with fuzzy boundary located at junctional zone between cortex and medulla on both conventional MRI and SWI images. Ten cases were found to exhibit abnormally low signal lesions with fuzzy boundary located at junctional zone between cortex and medulla on SWI images only. Fifteen cases exhibited no abnormal signal lesions on both conventional MRI and SWI images. Twenty cases with normal renal function of transplanted kidney, no abnormal signal lesions were found on both conventional MRI and SWI images. The differences in signal intensity between the abnormally low signal lesions (130±20) and normal renal cortex (177±25) in the same SWI layer of 11 cases with DGF were statistically significant (t=-4.582,P<0.01). The differences in positive detection rate of discovering the abnormally low signal lesions in DGF between conventional MRI [3.8%(1/26)] and SWI [42.3% (11/26)] were statistically significant (χ2=8.100,P=0.002). Conclusions Abnormally low signal lesions with fuzzy boundary located at junctional zone between cortex and medulla on SWI images suggest the presence of DGF. Compared with conventional MRI, SWI appears to be superior in detecting the abnormally low signal lesions.
