Objective:To investigate the epidemiological characteristics and influencing factors of scoliosis among primary and middle school students in Dali Bai autonomous prefecture. Methods:A total of 176,729 students aged 6-18 years from 380 primary and secondary schools in eight counties of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture were screened for spinal health by visual method, Adams forward bend test and scoliometer measuring the angle of trunk rotation from September to November 2021. The angle of trunk rotation ≥5° or visual method retest positive was used as a positive standard to confirm suspected scoliosis population. Demographic data of the screening population including name, gender, age and ethnicity were collected. The average altitude of the community or village committee in the screening area was recorded. Binary logistic regression analysis was used to screen the influencing factors of scoliosis. Results:There were 176,729 people planned to complete the screening. A total of 140,026 people were actually completed screening with completion rate 79.23%. A total of 3,190 (2.28%) suspected scoliosis positive people were detected. The detection rate of female was 2.52%, which was higher than that of male 2.03% (χ 2=37.18, P<0.001). The detection rate of 10-18 years old group was 2.90%, which was higher than that of 6-9 years old group 0.70% (χ 2=620.79, P<0.001). There was a significant difference in the detection rate among different age groups from 6 to 18 years old (χ 2=1,451.00, P<0.001). The detection rate of Han population was 2.67%, which was higher than that of non-Han population 2.15% (χ 2=31.06, P<0.001). In non-Han population, the detection rate of Bai population was 2.07%, which was lower than that of non-Bai population 2.26% (χ 2=4.02, P=0.045). Trend chi-square test showed significant difference in the detection rate of scoliosis among the general population, 10-18 years old population and 6-9 years old population in the altitude <1,500 m, 1,500-1,599 m, 1,600-1,699 m, 1,700-1,799 m, 1,800-1,899 m, 1,900-1,999 m, 2,000-2,099 m, 2,100-2,199 m, 2,200-2,299 m and ≥2,300 m groups (χ 2=249.02, 195.64, 24.46, P<0.05). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of scoliosis was lower in males than that in females ( OR=0.82, P<0.001). The risk of scoliosis was increased in 10-18 years old compared with that in 6-9 years old ( OR=0.12, P<0.001). The risk of scoliosis was low in Bai population compared with that in Han populations ( OR=0.75, P<0.001). The altitude ≥2,000 m was a risk factor ( OR=1.52, P<0.001). Conclusion:The detection rate of suspected scoliosis in primary and middle school students in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture was 2.28%. Female, aged 10-18 years, Han populations, and residence in altitude ≥2,000 m might be the risk factors for scoliosis.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of multimodal MRI of breast cancer with different molecular subtypes and the correlation between each molecular type and MRI findings. Methods Multimodality MRI date of 87 patients with breast cancer confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. According to the expression of estrogen receptors(ER),progesterone receptors(PR)and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2),the tumors were classified into triple-negative breast cancer,HER-2 overexpression,Luminal A and Lu-minal B subtypes. The MRI features of breast cancers of different molecular subtypes were compared. Results Among the 87 cases of breast cancer, luminal type A accounted for 29.9%(26/87),luminal type B accounted for 36.8%(32/87),HER-2 type accounted for 19.5%(17/87),and triple-negative type accounted for 13.8%(12/87). The average ADC value is 0.97 × 10-3 mm2/s;those whose irregular or edge burr like mass were more often Lu-minal type MRI,triple-negative breast cancer showed the edge smooth, clear boundary, annular enhancement, more easily showed enhanced mode of TIC type Ⅲ. The mean ADC values of type Luminal and HER-2 over-expres-sion were lower than the mean ADC values of the triple-negative type. Conclusion The different molecular sub-types of breast cancer MRI morphologic and hemodynamic characteristics and the value of ADC has certain charac-teristics. The MRI features of breast cancer can be predicted to analyze the molecular typing, providing a reference for clinical treatment.

To investigate the mutation site of pathogenic gene in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and to analyze the relationship between the genotype and clinical phenotype. Methods: Targeted exon capture sequencing was conducted in a HCM proband for 30 coding exons related HCM gene by all exon amplification and high-throughput sequencing. Furthermore, Sanger sequencing was performed in other family member and in 200 healthy volunteers for verification. The familial investigation included in clinical presentation, physical examination, electrocardiogram and echocardiography. Results: There were 3/6 blood relatives carrying cardiac myosin-binding protein gene MyBPC3 G772A heterozygous mutation, the mutation site was at 258 amino acid of MyBPC3 as glutamic acid (Glu) was substitute to lysine (Lys), such mutation was not found in rest of family member and not in healthy volunteers. The onset of proband and her daughter was rather late, they had palpitation and chest tightness; echocardiography showed interventricular septum basal segment thickening (16-18) mm. Proband was complicating paroxysmal ventricular tachycardia, malignant arrhythmia and heart failure, the maximum pressure gradient of left ventricular outflow was 56 mmHg, which with the high risk for sudden death. Conclusion: Comprehensive gene test has been helpful for clinical stratification, early diagnosis and treatment. MYBPC3 site mutation c.G772A might be the pathogenic mutation in that specific HCM family.

Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics 2016;14(2):94-102
We describe an interactive viewer for the All-Species Living Tree (LVTree). The viewer incorporates treeing and lineage information from the ARB-SILVA website. It allows collapsing the tree branches at different taxonomic ranks and expanding the collapsed branches as well, keeping the overall topology of the tree unchanged. It also enables the user to observe the consequence of trial lineage modifications by re-collapsing the tree. The system reports taxon statistics at all ranks automatically after each collapsing and re-collapsing. These features greatly facilitate the compar-ison of the 16S rRNA sequence phylogeny with prokaryotic taxonomy in a taxon by taxon manner. In view of the fact that the present prokaryotic systematics is largely based on 16S rRNA sequence analysis, the current viewer may help reveal discrepancies between phylogeny and taxonomy. As an application, we show that in the latest release of LVTree, based on 11,939 rRNA sequences, as few as 24 lineage modifications are enough to bring all but two phyla (Proteobacteria and Firmicutes) to monophyletic clusters.

OBJECTIVETo study the mechanism of secondary metabolites of some phenolic acids in the hairy roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza induced by methyl jasmonate.
METHODThe hairy roots of S. miltiorrhiza were induced with methyl jasmonate (100 micromol x L(-1)) and collected at 0, 12, 24, 36 h after treatment. Real-time quantitative PCR was used for detecting the mRNA expression level of the key enzyme genes on the secondary metabolites pathway of rosmarinic acid, while a LC-MS method was developed to determine the content of rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid and salvianolic acid B.
RESULT AND CONCLUSIONThe concentration of phenolic acids grew up and accumulated quickly in the hairy roots with exogenous signal molecule MJ induced, and it was showed that the content of CA and RA reached the maximum after 24 h and the content of LAB reached the maximum in 36 h by MJ induced. The induction mechanism may be activated with different levels of RA synthesis in PAL, 4CL, C4H genes on the key enzyme phenylalanine pathway and TAT, HPPR genes on tyrosine pathway. The time of gene expression was different, among them, 4CL and PAL genes were more important. In a word, the result can provide some basis data about the mechanism of secondary metabolites of phenolic acids for further research.
