1.Investigation and analysis of energy release of cardiac defibrillator at different stages of lifecycle of that

Objective:To analyze the performance characteristics of the energy output of defibrillation device at different lifecycle stages of the equipment,and to improve the level of management,so as to ensure the safety and effectiveness of using the device.Methods:A total of 90 defibrillation devices of using 10 types included 861290 and CardioServ(included scrapped devices)during the period of 2015-2022 were retrospectively analyzed.The detected data of energy output of defibrillation device were analyzed as statistical method,and the error of releasing energy was calculated.A total of 36 defibrillation devices that were in the early stages of use(at the first three years of device use)were divided into the first year,the second year and the third year,and the data of energy outputs of devices among three years were compared.The data of the type A and type B defibrillation devices,which were the largest number of devices in the normal stage of use(the middle stage of use),were calibrated according to the energy release in the three years between 2018 and 2000.The difference of releasing energy at the preseted value of 100J between the two types of devices was analyzed.Finally,the errors of energy releases of 8 devices,which energy outputs exceeded the deadline,in the scrap period between 2015 and 2022 were summarized.Results:In the data of three groups of devices in the early stages of use,the differences at the first and second year of device use among 100J,150J and 200J of the energy releases of the preseted values were significant(t=-0.17,-0.17,-0.58,P>0.05).The difference of the measured values between the first and third years of device use was not significant(Z=-0.70,-0.38,-0.86,P>0.05).The results of variance analysis of repeated measurement of the energy releases of the devices in normal stage indicated that the difference of the energy release at 100J preseted point among different types of 41 devices was significant(F=4.40,P<0.05).The energy release of type X defibrillator appeared constantly high,and the relative error increased with the increasing of preseted values.The repeatability of the device was better,and the relationship between preseted energy(x)and release energy(y)conformed to linear relationship(R2=0.9985).In these defibrillation devices that were using,the qualified rate of energy output of>100J preseted point was 97.68%.Conclusion:There is slight difference in the mean value of energy release between different type of defibrillation devices within the qualified range,and the energy release still is a performance indicator that should be highly focused for defibrillation devices.We should combine with the maintenance and repair data of device to conduct in-depth analysis,so as to grasp the operating status of the device,and optimize the strategy of quality control,and ensure the safety of defibrillator in clinical use.
2.Modification of zinc-doped polydopamine coating on pure titanium surface and its corrosion resistance:A preliminary study

Objective To prepare zinc-loaded polydopamine coating on the surface of pure titaniumand investigate its biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.Methods Pure titanium specimens were successively immersed in a dopamine alkaline solu-tion and a zinc sulfate solution to form a zinc-loaded polydopamine coating on the surface of the specimens.The smooth titanium surface and the polydopamine-coatedtitanium surface were used as the control group,and the zinc-containing polydopamine-coated titanium sur-face was used as the experimental group.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)was used to observe the micro-morphology of the speci-men surface,and energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS)was used to determine the binding of zinc elements on the polydopamine coat-ing.The hydrophilicity of the specimen surface was detected by a contact angle meter.L-929 fibroblasts were cultured in vitro and the biocompatibility of the modified titanium surface was evaluated by CCK-8 assay.An electrochemical potentiostat was used to obtain the open-circuit potential and potentiodynamic polarization curves of specimens of each group in artificial saliva to analyze the effect of zinc-doped polydopamine coating on the corrosion resistance of titanium surface.Results SEM and EDS analyses showed that there were differences in the surface micro-morphology among three groups,and the presence of zinccould be detected on the surface of the speci-mens in the zinc-doped polydopamine coating group.The hydrophilicity of the specimen surface was enhanced after coating modification.The results of in vitro experiment revealed that the zinc-doped polydopamine coating had good biocompatibility.The open-circuit potential and potentiodynamic polarization curves obtained from electrochemical tests and their fitting data showed that the zinc-doped polydopamine coating group had the strongest corrosion resistance,followed by the polydopamine coating group,and the smooth titani-um group had the smallest.Conclusion Zinc-doped polydopamine coatingscanbe successfully prepared on titanium surfaces us-ingchemical immersion method,and the modified titanium surfacespossess good biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.
3.The effect of WeChat + family centered health intervention on the self-efficacy of elderly hypertensive patients in general clinic

Objective To investigate the influence of WeChat + family centered health intervention on the self-efficacy of elderly hypertensive patients in General clinic. Methods A total of 102 elderly hypertensive patients aged≥60 years in General clinic from February 2017 to July 2017 were enrolled.They were divided into experimental group and control group with the table of random number, with 51 cases in each group. The experimental group used the WeChat+ family centered health intervention model,while the control group adopted the traditional health education model.The changes of blood pressure and self-efficacy were evaluated before intervention, 3 months and 6 months after intervention respectively. Results There were no statistic significant difference in blood pressure and self-efficacy total score between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05). At 3 months after intervention,the blood pressure(systolic pressure/diastolic pressure)of the patients were(144.20±4.60), (80.00±5.00)mmHg(1 mmHg=0.133 kPa)in the experimental group,those of which were(154.20±7.16), (87.00±3.81)mmHg in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (t=-2.628,-2.490,P<0.05).At 6 months after intervention,the blood pressure(systolic pressure/diastolic pressure)of the patients were(141.60±6.43),(76.00±4.85)mmHg in the experimental group,those of which were(151.60± 5.94),(85.40±4.56)mmHg in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (t=-2.555,-3.158,P<0.05).There were differences in systolic and diastolic pressure in patients with different groups at different time,and the differences were statistically significant(F=18.668,18.174,P<0.01).The total score of self-efficacy at 3 months and 6 months after intervention was(30.14±0.43),(32.56±0.23)points in the experimental group and (28.14 ± 0.15), (29.40 ± 0.19) points in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(t=9.736, 23.819, P<0.05). The differences in the total score of patients′self-efficacy in different groups at different time had statistically significance (F=2 631.551, P<0.01). Conclusions The WeChat+family centered health intervention model can significantly improve the self-efficacy of the elderly patients with high blood pressure in the General clinic.
4.Protection Provided by a Gabexate Mesylate Thermo-Sensitive In Situ Gel for Rats with Grade III Pancreatic Trauma.

BACKGROUND/AIMS: This study investigated the protection provided by gabexate mesylate thermo-sensitive in-situ gel (GMTI) against grade III pancreatic trauma in rats. METHODS: A grade III pancreatic trauma model with main pancreatic duct dividing was established, and the pancreas anatomical diagram, ascites, and serum biochemical indices, including amylase, lipase, C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin 6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), were examined. The pancreas was sliced and stained with hematoxylin eosin and subjected to terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) staining. RESULTS: Ascites, serum amylase, lipase, CRP, IL-6, and TNF-α levels were significantly increased in the pancreas trauma (PT) groups with prolonged trauma time and were significantly decreased after GMTI treatment. The morphological structure of the pancreas was loose, the acinus was significantly damaged, the nuclei were irregular and hyperchromatic, and there was inflammatory cell invasion in the PT group compared to the control. After GMTI treatment, the morphological structure of the pancreas was restored, and the damaged acinus and inflammatory cell invasion were decreased compared to the PT group. Moreover, the cell apoptosis index was significantly increased in the PT group and restored to the same levels as the control group after GMTI treatment. CONCLUSIONS: GMTI, a novel formulation and drug delivery method, exhibited specific effective protection against PT with acute pancreatitis therapy and has potential value as a minimally invasive adjuvant therapy for PT with acute pancreatitis.

5.Triptolide inhibits ovarian cancer cell invasion by repression of matrix metalloproteinase 7 and 19 and upregulation of E-cadherin.

Triptolide, a compound extracted from the traditional Chinese medicine preparation of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F., has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities. However, its effect on ovarian cancer invasion is unknown. We observed that MMP7 and MMP19 expression increased in ovarian cancer tissue. Triptolide treatment inhibited the migration and invasion of ovarian cancer cells SKOV3 and A2780 at the concentration of 15 nM. We also observed that triptolide suppressed MMP7 and MMP19 promoter activity in a dose-dependent manner, down-regulating the expressions of these promoters on mRNA and protein level. Moreover, triptolide enhanced E-cadherin expression in ovarian cancer cells. In vivo, triptolide inhibited tumor formation and metastasis in nude mice, and suppressed MMP7 and MMP19 expression; it also enhanced E-cadherin expression in tumor in a dose-dependent manner. Over expression of MMP7 and MMP19, or suppression of E-cadherin expression partially abolished the inhibitory effect of triptolide on invasion of ovarian cancer cells. To summarize, triptolide significantly inhibited the migration and invasion of ovarian cancer cells by suppression of MMP7 and MMP19 and up-regulation of E-cadherin expression. This study shows that triptolide is a good candidate for the treatment of ovarian cancer and reduction of metastasis.

6.The value of gray scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in diagnosing active hemorrhage of the kidney:an animal experiment

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of gray scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography(CEUS) in the diagnosis of active hemorrhage of the kidney.Methods Forty-six active hemorrhage animal models were created within the kidney of 23 New Zealand rabbits heparinized under general anesthesia,rabbit kidneys were examined by routine two dimensional ultrasonography and CEUS.Results Routine ultrasonography showed 26 traumas with irregular and poorly defined margins.CEUS showed all active bleeding sites,contrast agents overflowed from injured blood vessel and formed irregular remarkable enhanced parts.After average 85s for contrast agent was injected,the intensity of the enhanced regions in the kidneys were significantly higher than those of normal renal parenchyma.Conclusions CEUS could clearly demonstrate the active hemorrhage in traumatic kidney and could significantly improve the diagnostic level of ultrasonography.
