BACKGROUND:The sports medicine community has widely called for the use of machine learning technology to efficiently process the huge and complicated sports data resources, and construct intelligent sports injury prediction models, enabling accurate early warning of sports injuries. It is of great significance to comprehensively summarize and review such research results so as to grasp the direction of early warning model improvement and to guide the construction of sports injury prediction models in China. OBJECTIVE:To systematically review and analyze relevant research on sports injury prediction models based on machine learning technology, thereby providing references for the development of sports injury prediction models in China. METHODS:Literature search was conducted on CNKI,Web of Science and EBSCO databases, which mainly searched for literature related to machine learning techniques and sports injuries.Finally,61 articles related to sports injury prediction models were included for analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)In terms of external risk feature indicators, there is a lack of competition scenario indicators, and the inclusion of related feature indicators needs to be further improved to further enrich the dimensions of the dataset for model training. In addition, the inclusion feature weighting methods of the sports injury prediction model are mainly based on filtering methods and the use of embedding and wrapping weighting methods needs to be strengthened in order to enhance the analysis of the interaction effects of multiple risk factors.(2)In terms of model body training, supervised learning algorithms become the mainstream choice.Such algorithms have higher requirements for the completeness of sample labeling information, and the application scenarios are easily limited. Therefore, the application of unsupervised and semi-supervised algorithms can be increased in the later stage.(3)In terms of model performance evaluation and optimization, the current studies mainly adopt two verification methods:HoldOut crossover and k-crossover.The range of AUC values is(0.76±0.12),the range of sensitivity is(75.92±11.03)%,the range of specificity is(0.03±4.54)%,the range of F1 score is(80.60±10.63)%,the range of accuracy is(69.96±13.10)%,and the range of precision is(70±14.71)%.Data augmentation and feature optimization are the most common model optimization operations. The accuracy and precision of the current sports injury prediction model are about 70%,and the early warning effect is good. However, the model optimization operation is relatively single, and data augmentation methods are often used to improve model performance.Further adjustments to the model algorithm and hyperparameters are needed to further improve model performance.(4)In terms of model feature extraction, most of the internal risk profile indicators included are mainly based on anthropometrics, training load, years of training, and injury history, but there is a lack of sports recovery and physical function indicators.

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical safety of Feilike Mixture (FLK) in the real world. MethodsThe safety of all children who received FLK from 29 institutions in 12 provinces between January 21,2021 and December 25,2021 was evaluated through prospective centralized surveillance and a nested case control study. ResultsA total of 3 035 juveniles were included. There were 29 research centers involved, which are distributed across 12 provinces, including one traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital and 28 general hospitals. The average age among the juveniles was (4.77±3.56) years old,and the average weight was (21.81±12.97) kg. Among them,119 cases (3.92%) of juveniles had a history of allergies. Acute bronchitis was the main diagnosis for juveniles, with 1 656 cases (54.46%). FLK was first used in 2 016 cases (66.43%),and 142 juvenile patients had special dosages, accounting for 4.68%. Among them,92 adverse drug reactions (ADRs) occurred, including 73 cases of gastrointestinal system disorders,10 cases of metabolic and nutritional disorders, eight cases of skin and subcutaneous tissue diseases, two cases of vascular and lymphatic disorders, and one case of systemic diseases and various reactions at the administration site. The manifestations of ADRs were mainly diarrhea, stool discoloration, and vomiting, and no serious ADRs occurred. The results of multi-factor analysis indicated that special dosages (the use of FLK)[odds ratio (OR) of 2.642, 95% confidence interval (CI) of 1.105-6.323],combined administration: spleen aminopeptide (OR of 4.978, 95%CI of 1.200-20.655),and reason for combined administration: anti-infection (OR of 1.814, 95%CI of 1.071-3.075) were the risk factors for ADRs caused by FLK. Conclusion92 ADRs occurred among 3 035 juveniles using FLK. The incidence of ADRs caused by FLK was 3.03%,and the severity was mainly mild or moderate. Generally, the prognosis was favorable after symptomatic treatment such as drug withdrawal or dosage reduction, suggesting that FLK has good clinical safety.

ObjectiveTo explore the quantity-quality transfer process of medicinal materials, decoction pieces and standard decoction of Haliotidis Concha(Haliotis discus hannai) by analyzing the physical phase and compositional changes, so as to provide references for the effective control of its quality. MethodsA total of 20 batches of Haliotidis Concha(H. discus hannai) from different habitats were collected and prepared into corresponding calcined products and standard decoction, and the content of CaCO3 of the three samples were determined and the extract yield and transfer rate of CaCO3 were calculated. The changes in elemental composition and their relative contents were investigated by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF), X-ray diffraction(XRD) was used to study the changes in the phase compositions of the three samples and to establish their respective XRD specific chromatogram. Fourier transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR) was used to study the changes in the chemical composition and content changes of the three samples and to establish their respective FTIR specific chromatogram, while combining hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA), principal component analysis(PCA) and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA) to find the common and differential characteristics, in order to explore the quantity-quality transfer relationship in the preparation process of standard decoction of Haliotidis Concha(H. discus hannai). ResultsThe CaCO3 contents of the 20 batches of medicinal materials, decoction pieces and standard decoction of Haliotidis Concha(H. discus hannai) were 93.87%-98.95%, 96.02%-99.97% and 38.29%-51.96%, respectively, and the extract yield of standard decoction was 1.71%-2.37%, and the CaCO3 transfer rate of decoction pieces-standard decoction was 0.68%-1.27%. XRF results showed that the elemental species and their relative contents contained in Haliotidis Concha and its calcined products had a high degree of similarity, and although there was no obvious difference in the elemental species contained in decoction pieces and standard decoction, the difference in the relative contents was obvious, which was mainly reflected in the decrease of the relative content of element Ca and the increase of the relative content of element Na. XRD results showed that Haliotidis Concha mainly contained CaCO3 of aragonite and calcite, while calcined Haliotidis Concha only contained CaCO3 of calcite, and standard decoction mainly contained CaCO3 of calcite and Na2CO3 of natrite. FTIR results showed that there were internal vibrations of O-H, C-H, C=O, HCO3- and CO32- groups in Haliotidis Concha, while O-H, HCO3- and CO32- groups existed in the calcined products and standard decoction. ConclusionThe changes of Haliotidis Concha and calcined Haliotidis Concha are mainly the increase of CaCO3 content, the transformation of CaCO3 aragonite crystal form to calcite crystal form and the absence of organic components after calcination, and the changes of calcined products and standard decoction are mainly the decrease of CaCO3 content and the increase of Na2CO3 relative content. The method established in the study is applicable to the quality control of the shellfish medicines-decoction pieces- standard decoction, which provides a new idea for the study of quality control of dispensing granules of shellfish medicines.

ObjectiveTo investigate the difference in bilateral lower limb muscle synergy mode during gait in patients after unilateral anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. MethodsElectromyography from bilateral lower limb muscles during gait were collected from twelve male and eight female patients after unilateral anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in Affiliated Hospital of Wuhan Sports University, from April to June, 2023. The data were analyzed using non-negative matrix decomposition algorithm to extract the number of muscle synergies in the affected and unaffected legs, the time to peak activation of muscle synergies and the relative weights of the muscles. ResultsSix types of muscle synergy were identified in the unaffected leg of males during gait, while five types were identified in the affected leg, lacking synergy 2 that mainly from the tibialis anterior muscle. Six types of muscle synergy were identified in both legs in females during gait. There was no significant difference in the time to peak activation of muscle synergies between both legs in males (P > 0.05). However, the time to peak activation of muscle synergies increased in females in the affected leg for synergy 3 and synergy 5 (P < 0.05). The relative weight of the rectus femoris was lower in synergy 1 in the affected leg in males (P < 0.05). For female, the relative weight of the vastus lateralis was higher and the relative weight of the biceps femoris was lower in synergy 2 in the affected leg in females (P < 0.05); while the relative weight of the rectus femoris was lower in synergy 3 (P < 0.05), and the relative weight of the biceps femoris was lower in synergy 6 (P < 0.05). ConclusionMales would freeze the muscle synergy dominating ankle dorsiflexion in affected leg to enhance ankle stability, and reduce the relative weight of rectus femoris during the loading response phase to weaken the knee landing cushioning. However, females would delay the activation of synergies dominating in loading response phase and the mid-stance phase, enhance the relative weight of vastus lateralis during the loading response phase, and reduce the relative weights of rectus femoris in the loading response phase and the relative weight of biceps femoris in the mid-stance phase, to limit knee flexion.

Platelets have long been recognized as key players in hemostasis and thrombosis; however, there is growing evidence that they are also involved in cancer. Preclinical and clinical studies have shown that platelets can promote tumorigenesis and metastasis through various crosstalks between platelets and cancer cells. Platelets play an active role in all stages of tumorigenesis, including tumor growth, tumor cell extravasation, and metastasis. In addition, thrombocytosis in cancer patients is associated with poor patient survival. Platelets are also well-placed to coordinate local and distant tumor-host interactions due to the a- bundance of microparticles and exosomes. Therefore, antitumor drugs targeting platelets have great development and application prospects. The following will review the research progress of anti-tumor drugs targeting platelets.

BACKGROUND:The researchers noted that upon embedding clinical-grade catgut and polyglycolide-co-lactide threads in the normal human"Zusanli"(ST 36)acupoint,the local area displayed temporal and inflammatory stimulatory effects, resulting in thread differentiation. However, the underlying mechanism behind thread involvement remains to be studied. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the expression levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide,5-hydroxytryptamine,leukotriene B4,and bradykinin at point"Zusanli"(ST 36)in rats after embedding catgut and polyglycolide-co-lactide respectively at different time points. METHODS:110 male SD rats were divided into a blank group(10 rats),a catgut embedding group(50 rats),and a polyglycolide-co-lactide embedding group(50 rats)according to the random number table method. In the blank group,no thread was embedded. In catgut embedding group and the polyglycolide-co-lactide embedding group, the thread was embedded in the left side of the ST36 acupoint once.Tissue was collected from the left side of the ST36 acupoint area 8 hours,3,7,14,and 21 days after embedding. The expression levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and 5-hydroxytryptamine were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the contents of leukotriene B4 and bradykinin were detected by ELISA. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Compared with the blank group, the expression of calcitonin gene-related peptide,5-hydroxytryptamine,bradykinin,and leukotriene B4 was significantly increased in the 8 hours,3,7,14,and 21 days of the catgut embedding group(P<0.05);calcitonin gene-related peptide expression was significantly increased in 8 hours,3,7,and 14 days in the polyglycolide-co-lactide embedding group(P<0.05);the expression of bradykinin was significantly increased in 8 hours,3,and 7 days(P<0.05);the expression of leukotriene B4 was significantly increased at 8 hours,3,7,14,and 21 days(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the polyglycolide-co-lactide embedding group, the expression of calcitonin gene-related peptide was increased at 7,14,21 days after thread embedding(P<0.05),and the expression of 5-hydroxytryptamine was increased at 8 hours,3,7,14 and 21 days after thread embedding(P<0.05);contents of leukotriene B4 and bradykinin in tissues were increased at 8 hours,3,14 and 21 days after embedding(P<0.05)in the catgut embedding group.(3)The results show that calcitonin gene-related peptide,5-hydroxytryptamine,leukotriene B4,and bradykinin in the acupoint region alter after catgut embedding in the ST36 of rats,as well as the alteration of calcitonin gene-related peptide, leukotriene B4,and bradykinin is found in the acupoint region after polyglycolide-co-lactide embedding in rats, which may be one of the mechanisms involved in the local time sensitive stimulus effects caused by embedding threads at acupoints. Moreover, there is a discernible difference between the two thread types.

Objective:To study the clinical characteristics and risk factors of nephrocalcinosis in preterm infants. Methods:From March 2021 to August 2021, all preterm infants admitted to NICU of our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The infants were assigned into nephrocalcinosis group and non-nephrocalcinosis group according to urinary tract ultrasound. Clinical data including gestational age, birth weight(BW), nutritional support strategy and complications were reviewed. Results:A total of 40 preterm infants (<34 weeks) were enrolled. 9 cases were in the nephrocalcinosis group and 31 cases in the non-nephrocalcinosis group. The nephrocalcinosis group had lower BW[(1 167±214) g vs.(1 586±215) g], higher calcium [6.9 (5.1, 8.7) g vs.3.3 (2.1, 6.8) g] and vitamin D intake [3.2(2.5, 4.2)×10 4U vs.1.7(1.1, 3.2)×10 4U] during hospitalization. No significant differences existed between the two groups on the following items:blood calcium and phosphate, 25-hydroxyvitamin D, feeding strategy, time to reach full enteral feeding(TFF), furosemide dosage and respiratory support duration ( P>0.05). In the nephrocalcinosis group, the median age of diagnosing nephrocalcinosis was 40.0(30.0, 52.5)d after birth. 5 cases showed bilateral nephrocalcinosis. 5 cases in the nephrocalcinosis group received renal tubule function examination,4 cases had increased urine β2 microglobulin and 2 cases had increased urine α1 microglobulin. 7 cases had elevated urine calcium in the nephrocalcinosis group. Follow-up showed that nephrocalcinosis disappeared 3-9 months after birth. Conclusions:BW, total calcium and vitamin D intake are risk factors for nephrocalcinosis in preterm infants. Increased urine β2 microglobulin and calcium levels are common co-morbidities in preterm infants with nephrocalcinosis.

Objective To analyze the risk of return to sport in athletes using their gait data following anterior cruciate ligament re-construction(ACLR). Methods From May to June,2023,39 athletes after ACLR were recruited in Wuhan Sports University.Their data on sta-ble gait and tandem gait were recorded using a three-dimensional motion capture system, surface electromyogra-phy and a three-dimensional ergometer table.Additionally,return-to-sport scores were calculated using the K-STARTS test. The relationship between each gait indicator and the total score of the K-STARTS test was ana-lyzed with Pearson correlation analysis.Furthermore, the key indicators related to the risk of return to sport were analyzed using linear regression. Results In the stable gait test, the step time was negatively correlated with the total score of K-STARTS(r=-0.479,P=0.002),and the peak amplitude symmetry index of rectus femoris(r=0.448,P=0.004)and vastus lateralis(r=0.595,P=0.001)were positively correlated with the total score of K-STARTS.In the tandem gait test, the lateral displacement distance of the center of gravity was negatively correlated with the total score of K-STARTS(r=-0.341,P=0.034),and the time symmetry index of peak amplitude of vastus lateralis was positively correlated with the total score of K-STARTS(r=0.320,P=0.047).Regression analysis showed that the interpretation of the model based on stable gait(F=15.818,P=0.001,R2=0.650)was better than that based on tandem gait(F=7.692,P=0.001,R2=0.397). Conclusion In stable gait, gait rhythm variability and symmetry are correlated with return to sport risk.In tandem gait, gait balance and symmetry indexes are correlated with return-to-sport risk.Compared with tandem gait, the inter-pretation of return-to-sport risk assessment model based on stable gait information is better, and may be more suitable as a simple return-to-sport risk test method.
