1.Influence of occupational hazard factors on incidence of hypertension in calcium carbide plant: Historical cohort study

Background The high work intensity and possible subsequently increased susceptibility to occupational hazards of calcium carbide plants may lead to hypertension in workers, but there are few studies on the relationship between occupational hazard exposure and hypertension in workers involving the production process of calcium carbide. Objective To explore the influence of occupational hazards on the incidence of hypertension in calcium carbide plants. Methods Using historical cohort design, the employees of a calcium carbide factory in the western part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected as research subjects. According to the pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the study population comprised an exposure group of 377 employees (including furnace workers, inspection workers, and maintenance workers) exposed to dust, noise & carbon monoxide, and a control group of 388 employees (including central control workers, electricians, and administrative personnel) without above-mentioned exposure. The total sample size was 765 participants. The follow-up period was from April 2011 to October 2022, and the study endpoint was defined as the conclusion of the follow-up period or diagnosed hypertension in annual occupational health examination. Information on general demographic characteristics, living habits, and work status was collected from all study subjects. Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to analyze the association between occupational hazard exposure and the risk of hypertension among the calcium carbide plant employees. Results The average age, mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure, proportion of males, smoking rate, and alcohol consumption rate in the exposure group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared to baseline, both systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels increased in the exposure group and the control group at the end of the follow-up (P<0.05). At the end of the follow-up, the average differences between systolic/ diastolic blood pressure and baseline values in the exposure group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). 2.Correlation between heart rate variability and extracurricular physical exercise of primary and middle school students in Chengdu City

Objective:
To investigate the impact of extracurricular physical activity on heart rate variability (HRV) among primary and secondary school students in Chengdu City, so ao to provide references for scientific exercise prescription.
Methods:
Using a convenient sampling method, 1 323 primary and secondary students were enrolled from central Chengdu who underwent physical fitness assessments at Sichuan Provincial Institute of Sports Science from September 2020 to January 2022. According to the standards of the National Physical Fitness Monitoring Center, boys and girls were divided into groups with and without extracurricular physical exercise habits. HRV was monitored using the SA-3000P device. Key HRV parameters were evaluated separately by gender, including standard deviation of normal to normal intervals (SDNN), root mean square of successive differences (rMSSD), total power (TP), low frequency power (LF) and high frequency power (HF). Statistical analyses were employed by t-test, Mann-Whitney U-test and Chi square test.
Results:
lgSDNN, lgrMSSD, TP, LF and HF in the group without extracurricular physical exercise habit [boys:(1.67±0.13)ms, (1.59±0.20)ms, (7.34±0.73)ms 2, (6.11±0.74)ms 2, (6.05±0.87)ms 2; girls:(1.67± 0.13)ms , (1.59±0.19)ms, (7.35±0.60)ms 2, (6.06±0.69)ms 2, (6.12±0.87)ms 2] were lower than those in the group with extracurricular physical exercise habit [boys:(1.75±0.13)ms, (1.72±0.18)ms, (7.69±0.62)ms 2, (6.41±0.76)ms 2, (6.44±0.79)ms 2;girls:(1.73±0.13)ms, (1.68±0.20)ms, (7.60±0.65)ms 2, (6.26±0.86)ms 2, (6.36±0.90)ms 2] ( t =-8.24, -8.75, -6.54, -5.35 , -6.33;-5.10,-4.90,-4.47,-2.71,-2.93, all P <0.01). Only the group of boys without extracurricular physical exercise habits showed a decrease in lgLF/HF [0.04(-0.19,0.27)] compared to the group with extracurricular physical exercise habits [ -0.03 (-0.25,0.20)] ( Z=-2.01, P <0.05). When the score classes of autonomic nerve activity, stress index and fatigue index were compared between boys and girls groups without and with extracurricular physical exercise habits, the proportion of boys normal and above scores increased from 79.3%, 84.1%, 71.8% to 91.4%, 95.7%, 87.3%, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ 2=47.42, 63.66, 38.28); the proportion of girls normal score and above increased from 79.8%, 85.7%, 75.0% to 85.4%, 92.1%, 79.4%, and the differences were statistically significant ( χ 2=48.31, 22.18, 22.22) (all P <0.01).
Conclusion
The primary and secondary school students who have the habit of extracurricular physical exercise have enhanced compliance in indicators related to HRV, showing more complex heart rate variability.
3.Visual analysis of the impact of T cells on rheumatoid arthritis in the past decade based on multiple analysis methods

Objective Through a multi-software visual analysis of the literature on the influence of T cells on rheumatoid arthritis(RA)in recent ten years,the research hotspot and frontier development in this field were summarized.Methods The Chinese and English literature on the influence of T cells on RA from 2012 to 2022 years was retrieved from CNKI and Web of Science database as the research object.CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to analyze the number of publications,authors and keywords.Results 519 articles in Chinese and 861 in English were retrieved.The results showed that the number of articles in Chinese increased slowly from 2020 to 2022 years,while the overall trend in English was stable.Keyword analysis shows that it is predicted that future research in this field will focus on the pathogenesis of T cells in RA,the mechanism of bone destruction in RA,disease activity,oxidative stress.Conclusion The influence of T cells on RA has attracted much attention in the past,present and future,and has great research value.However,due to the differences in research priorities at home and abroad,the teams should interact positively and communicate with each other to reveal the internal mechanism of RA and provide theoretical basis for targeted therapy.
4.Efficacy observation of cetrorelix combined with aspirin in preventing early-onset ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome

OBJECTIVE To observe the efficacy of cetrorelix combined with aspirin in preventing early-onset ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data from 38 early-onset OHSS patients, who received treatment in our hospital from January 1st to July 1st, 2022. These patients were divided into intervention group (19 cases) and control group (19 cases) according to the therapy regimen. On the first day after oocyte retrieval surgery, the control group was given aspirin enteric-coated tablets 100 mg orally until menstruation began. The intervention group was given cetrorelix for injection 0.25 mg subcutaneously, for consecutive 3 days+aspirin enteric-coated tablets (same usage and dosage as the control group). The first luteal phase, the degree of OHSS, and the ovarian volume, ascites volume, serum estradiol (E2), white blood cell count (WBC), hematocrit (HCT), neutrophil ratio (NEUT%), D-dimer (DD), prothrombin time (PT), fibrinogen (Fib) after oocyte retrieval surgery were observed and measured in 2 groups. RESULTS The first luteal phase was significantly shorter, and the proportions of median and severe OHSS cases were significantly lower in the intervention group compared to the control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). After oocyte retrieval surgery, the intervention group showed significantly lower ovarian volume, ascites volume, serum E2, WBC, NEUT%, HCT, DD and Fib compared to the control group, but PT of intervention group was signiticantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Cetrorelix combined with aspirin is more effective in preventing early-onset OHSS than aspirin alone.
5.Effect of an extracorporeal diaphragm pacemaker combined with airway clearance technology on pulmonary infection, diaphragmatic mobility and thickness in older adult patients with dementia

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of an extracorporeal diaphragm pacemaker (EDP) combined with airway clearance technology (ACT) in the treatment of pulmonary infection in older adult patients with dementia and its impact on diaphragmatic mobility and thickness.Methods:A total of 60 patients with dementia and pulmonary infections who received treatment at The Second Hospital of Jinhua from June 2022 to February 2023 were included in this prospective study. These patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received ACT treatment, while the observation group received EDP treatment on the basis of ACT treatment. Two groups were treated for 4 successive weeks. Efficacy was compared between the two groups. Before and after treatment, sputum color score, sputum quality score, diaphragmatic mobility, and diaphragmatic thickness were compared between the two groups.Results:The overall response rate in the observation group was 93.33% (28/30), which was significantly higher than 73.33% (22/30) in the control group ( Z = 2.08, P = 0.038). After treatment, the sputum color score, sputum quality score, and sputum volume in the observation group were (0.46 ± 0.12) points, (0.34 ± 0.10) points, and (8.47 ± 1.23) mL, respectively, which were significantly lower than (0.89 ± 0.17) points, (0.76 ± 0.18) points, and (13.25 ± 2.87) mL, respectively, in the control group ( t = 11.32, 11.17, 8.38, all P < 0.001). After treatment, the diaphragmatic mobility and thickness in the observation group were (13.52 ± 0.51) mm and (0.52 ± 0.06) mm, respectively, which were significantly greater than (12.76 ± 0.41) mm and (0.44 ± 0.04) mm, respectively, in the control group ( t = -6.36, -6.08, both P < 0.001). Conclusion:The combined application of EDP and ACT shows a significant therapeutic effect on patients with dementia and pulmonary infection, effectively improving their pulmonary function, increasing the mobility and thickness of the diaphragm, and alleviating difficulties in breathing.
6.Analysis of the current status and associated factors of nutritional literacy among primary and secondary school students in Beijing

Objective:
To understand the nutritional literacy level and associated factors of primary and secondary school students in Beijing, so as to provide a scientific basis for improving student nutrition.
Methods:
From October 2022 to May 2023, a multi stage cluster random sampling method was employed to select a total of 14 568 primary, junior and senior high school students from 16 districts (ecluding the Economic Technological Development area) in Beijing. Through a survey questionnaire on nutritional literacy and dietary hehavior of school age children, basic information as well as data on nutritional literacy levels across four dimensions:nutrition related knowledge concepts, food selection, food preparation, and food intake dimensions were obtained. The Wilcoxon rank sum test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Spearman correlation analysis, Chi square test and binary Logistic regression were used for the analysis.
Results:
The median total score of nutritional literacy among primary and secondary school students in Beijing was 68.8. Approximately 26.0% of primary and secondary school students achieved nutritional literacy standards. The median scores and rates of meeting the standards for nutrition related knowledge concepts, food selection, food preparation and food intake dimensions were 23.0, 42.1%; 17.0, 27.4%; 6.5, 33.5%; 23.0, 33.3%, respectively. There were positive correlations between all pairs of the four dimensions ( r=0.33-0.49, P <0.05). The results of multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that primary school students, junior high school students, female students, suburban students, caregivers with a college education level and a bachelor s degree or above were the positive arrelation factors that promoted the achievement of nutritional literacy standards ( OR =2.21, 1.39, 1.18, 1.27, 1.42, 1.66, P <0.05).
Conclusion
The literacy level of primary and secondary school students in Beijing needs to be significantly improved. School stage, gender, region and caregiver s education level are associated factors.
7.Evolutionary characteristics of HA and NA genes of B Victoria influenza virus in Tongling city from 2019 to 2022

Objective:To analyze the genetic evolution characteristics of hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) of influenza B virus in Tongling during 2019-2022 surveillance years.Methods:Twenty-two strains of Victoria influenza B virus isolated from our laboratory during 2019-2022 were selected for whole genome sequencing. The sequence comparison and phylogenetic analysis were conducted by using bioinformatic analysis software.Results:During 2019-2022, seasonal influenza in Tongling City was predominantly caused by influenza B Victoria lineage viruses, which fell within the V1A.3 branch. Among these, 14 strains isolated in the 2021-2022 season were further classified into the V1A.3a.2 sub-branch. Compared with vaccine strains, multiple amino acid mutation sites were detected in both HA and NA proteins of the 22 influenza B Victoria lineage viruses. Notably, all four major antigenic sites (120-loop, 150-loop, 160-helix, and 190-helix regions) in the HA protein exhibited variations. Although no mutations were detected at resistance sites on the NA protein, a change occurred in the glycosylation site at position 197 NETQ in the HA protein.Conclusions:The main amino acid sites of the HA protein of the influenza B Victoria lineage viruses in Tongling City from 2019 to 2022 have undergone significant variation, which may lead to antigenic drift. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the monitoring of influenza virus mutations.
8.Relationship between aquaporin 1 level and vascular calcification in diabetic nephropathy

Objective:To analyze the relationship between aquaporin 1 (AQP1) level and vascular calcification in patients with diabetes nephropathy.Methods:A total of 125 diabetic nephropathy patients admitted to Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from March 2020 to March 2023 were retrospectively selected as case group. The case group was divided into group A (diabetes nephropathy stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ) with 31 cases, group B (diabetes nephropathy stage Ⅲ) with 32 cases, group C (diabetes nephropathy stage Ⅳ) with 39 cases, and group D (diabetes nephropathy stage V) with 23 cases. In these patients, 51 cases had vascular calcification, taken as the calcification group, and 74 cases had no vascular calcification, taken as the non calcification group. Sixty volunteers who underwent health examinations in the same hospital were selected as the control group. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the predictive value of AQP1 on vascular calcification in diabetes nephropathy patients and to explore the related factors of vascular calcification in diabetes nephropathy patients.Results:Compared with the control group, AQP1 level and calcification rate in groups A, B, C and D were higher: 6.41 ± 1.04, 7.93 ± 1.23, 9.50 ± 1.52 and 11.37 ± 2.01 vs. 3.83 ± 0.56 ng/L, 6.45% (2/31), 28.13% (9/32), 51.28% (20/29) and 86.96% (20/23) vs. 0 ( P<0.05). Compared with group A, the level of AQP1 and calcification rate in groups B, C and D were higher ( P<0.05); compared with group B, the AQP1 level and calcification rate in groups C and D were higher ( P<0.05); compared with group C, the level of AQP1 and calcification rate in group D were higher ( P<0.05). Compared to the non calcification group, the levels of uric acid, homocysteine and cystatin C in calcification group were higher: (313.82 ± 38.72) μmol/L vs. (253.42 ± 30.14) μmol/L, (20.03 ± 3.01) μmol/L vs. (15.01 ± 2.71) μmol/L, (1.73 ± 0.26) mg/L vs. (1.30 ± 0.17) mg/L ( P<0.05). AQP1 was positively correlated with uric acid, homocysteine, and cystatin C ( P<0.05). The area under the curve of AQP1, uric acid, homocysteine and cystatin C in predicting vascular calcification in patients with diabetes nephropathy were 0.892, 0.803, 0.738 and 0.763, respectively. Taking whether vascular calcification occurs in patients with diabetes nephropathy as the dependent variable (no = 0, yes = 1), the variables of P<0.05 in the single factor analysis were selected for multivariate Logistic regression analysis. The results showed that uric acid, homocysteine, cystatin C and AQP1 were the main factors affecting vascular calcification in patients with diabetes nephropathy ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Serum AQP1 has a high predictive value for vascular calcification in diabetes nephropathy patients, and is expected to be used as a biomarker for early diagnosis of vascular calcification in diabetes nephropathy patients.
9.Construction and validation of a risk prediction model for PICC related bloodstream infections in elderly acute leukemia patients during chemotherapy

Objective:To explore the risk factors for peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) related bloodstream infections in elderly acute leukemia patients during chemotherapy, and construct and validate relevant predictive models.Methods:This study selected 291 patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to December 2020 as the modeling group, and 277 patients from January 2021 to December 2022 as the validation group. Multivariate Logistic regression was used to determine the risk factors for PICC related bloodstream infections during chemotherapy in elderly acute leukemia patients, and a prediction model was constructed and validated based on the analysis results.Results:The incidence of PICC related bloodstream infections in the modeling group was 8.2% (24/291). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that chemotherapy frequency, single catheterization puncture frequency, whether catheterization maintenance frequency was standardized, and catheterization retention time were risk factors for PICC related bloodstream infections in elderly acute leukemia patients during chemotherapy. Based on this result, a prediction model was constructed, and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve ( AUC) of the modeling group's prediction model was 0.798 [95% CI (0.734, 0.869) ], while the AUC of the validation group's prediction model was 0.745 [95% CI (0.712, 0.844) ]. The calibration curves of the modeling and validation groups showed that the prediction model had high predictive performance. Conclusions:A prediction model for PICC related bloodstream infections in elderly acute leukemia patients during chemotherapy is constructed based on the results of multiple factor analysis, and the predictive performance of the model is verified. Nursing staff can quantify the risk of PICC related bloodstream infections in patients based on this prediction model and implement targeted nursing measures.

Objective:To determine the relative correction factor of pre-vitamin D and simplify the calculation method of vitamin D assay.Methods:By studying the calculation method of vitamin D content in drug standards of various countries,HPLC was used to determine the relative correction factor of pre-vitamin D,and the influencing factors of determination were investigated.Results:The relative correction factors of pre-vitamin D at 254 nm and 265nm wavelength were determined by statistical analysis of 7 laboratories in China.Conclusion:Using the pre-vi-tamin D relative correction factor method to calculate the total amount of vitamin D simplified the experimental steps can be simplified by the pre-vitamin D relative correction factor method to calculate the total amount of vitamin D and the random operating errors can be avoided.The method is rapid and accurate,and lay a solid foundation for further improving the standard of vitamin D preparations.
