		                        			The advancement of medical technology has led to significant progress in the research of standardized surgical procedures for colorectal cancer, resulting in enhanced treatment regimens from preoperative to postoperative stages. Standardized surgical procedures are crucial for improving patient survival rates, reducing recurrence rates, minimizing complications, and improving quality of life. 2.Two-sample Mendelian randomization analysis of the causal relationship between T.gondii infection and encephalitis

		                        			Mendelian randomization analysis was used to explore the causal relationship of T.gondii in- fection and the cyst  distribution  and  inflammation  in  brain  tissue  by  immunohistochemistry.
		                        		
		                        			Methods     :
		                        			Genome- wide association  analysis  data  of  T.gondii  infection  and encephalitis were obtained ,single nucleotide polymor- phisms  (SNPs) were selected,Mendelian randomization analysis was conducted by inverse variance weighting,and  the causal relationship between T.gondii infection and encephalitis was evaluated by OR value and 95% CI.Quality  control was carried out by using heterogeneity test,horizontal multi-efficiency test and leave-one-out sensitivity test.   Immunohistochemical staining was performed using brain sections of mice infected with tissue cysts of Wh6 strain for  image analysis using Image J software. 
		                        		
		                        			Results    :
		                        			A total of 29  SNPs were associated with toxoplasmic encephalitis.   The results of IVW method suggested that T.gondii infection made encephalitis risk 0. 98 times higher  ( OR = 0. 98, 95% CI = 0. 76  to 1. 27) ,indicating  no causal relationship between the two.The quality control results suggested  that the selected SNPs were stable and reliable.Toxoplasma cysts were distributed in various parts of the brain tis- sue.
		                        		
		                        			Conclusion    
		                        			 T.gondii infection  and  encephalitis are related,but there is no sufficient evidence to prove the  causal relationship between the two.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Application of virtual reality technology in rehabilitation of stroke: a bibliometric analysis

		                        			ObjectiveTo explore the research status and hot spots of virtual reality in the field of stroke rehabilitation. MethodsThe literature related to the application of virtual reality technology in stroke rehabilitation was retrieved in CNKI and Web of Science core collection from establishiment to August, 2024. The knowledge map of authors, institutions and keywords was drawn by Citespace 6.2.R7. ResultsA total of 485 papers were retreived, including 201 in Chinese and 284 in English. The number of articles published in both Chinese and English was on the rise. Qu Yun was the Chinese author with the most articles, and Rocco Salvatore Calabro was the English author. The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University and IRCCS Bonino Pulejo published the most papers respectively. The results of keyword co-occurrence and clustering were consistent in the Chinese and English keywords, mainly included hemiplegia, balance function, upper limb function and cognitive function. The keywords with high bursting intensity in Chinese included motor function, cognitive function and upper limb function, while those with high bursting intensity in English included upper limb, cognitive impairment and environment. The hot spots in this field focused on the virtual reality technology for stroke patients' motor function rehabilitation, cognitive function rehabilitation, limb function rehabilitation and virtual reality technology combined with conventional treatment. ConclusionVirtual reality technology, as a simulation information technology, has been widely applied in the fields of motor function rehabilitation, cognitive function rehabilitation and limb function rehabilitation for stroke patients. The combination of virtual reality technology with conventional rehabilitation therapy could enhance the functional level and activities of daily living. More researches may focus on conjunctions of virtual reality technology with new technologies such as digital therapeutics and brain-computer interfaces, to improve the gait and upper limb functions of stroke patients. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Magnetic resonance imaging study on gray matter volume and abnormal functional connectivity in patients with neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus

		                        			Objective:To explore the pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NPSLE) from imaging perspective by analyzing voxel-based morphology (VBM) and functional connectivity (FC) in resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI).Methods:Thirty-five patients with NPSLE and 30 patients with non-NPSLE admitted to Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Taizhou People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University from June 2020 to March 2023 were enrolled; 31 healthy subjects were included as healthy control group during the same period. All subjects completed routine MRI and rs-fMRI, laboratory tests (C3, C4, IgA, IgM and IgG levels), mini-mental state examination (MMSE), hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS), and fatigue scale for motor and cognitive functions (FSMC). Whole brain gray matter volume in subjects of the 3 groups was analyzed by VBM method, and the brain regions enjoying significant differences in gray matter volume between the NPSLE group and non-NPSLE group were selected as regions of interest (ROIs) for whole brain FC analysis. Partial correlation method was used to analyze the correlations of imaging indexes in brain regions enjoying significant differences with clinical indexes and imaging scores between NPSLE group and non-NPSLE group. Efficacy of imaging indexes in brain regions enjoying significant difference in differentiating NPSLE from non-NPSLE was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.Results:(1) Covariance analysis among the 3 groups showed that the gray matter volume in the left inferior frontal gyrus of orbit, left superior frontal gyrus, right rectus gyrus, right transverse temporal gyrus, and right superior frontal gyrus was significantly different among the 3 groups ( P<0.001, FDR corrected); compared with the healthy control group, the NPSLE group had significantly reduced gray matter volume in the left inferior frontal gyrus of orbit, left superior frontal gyrus of orbit, right rectus gyrus, right transverse temporal gyrus, and right superior frontal gyrus ( P<0.001, FDR corrected); compared with the non-NPSLE group, the NPSLE group had significantly decreased gray matter volume in the left inferior frontal gyrus of orbit, right rectus gyrus, and right transverse temporal gyrus ( P<0.001, FDR corrected). (2) Whole brain FC analysis with brain regions enjoying significant differences as seed points showed that Fisher z-transformed FC (zFC) in the right transverse temporal gyrus and bilateral postcentral gyrus of the NPSLE group were significantly decreased ( P<0.001, FDR corrected). (3) Partial correlation analysis showed that, in the NPSLE group, zFC from the right transverse temporal gyrus to left posterior central gyrus was negatively correlated with disease course ( r=-0.390, P=0.027); gray matter volume in the right orbital superior frontal gyrus was negatively correlated with FSMC-cognitive ( r=-0.401, P=0.023); the gray matter volume in the right orbital superior frontal gyrus was negatively correlated with FSMC-motor ( r=-0.374, P=0.035). (4) ROC curve found that gray matter volume in the right rectus gyrus and zFC from the right transverse temporal gyrus to the right posterior central gyrus had relatively high efficacy in differentiating NPSLE from non-NPSLE, with AUC of 0.771 (95% CI: 0.658-0.885, P<0.001) and 0.794 (95% CI: 0.685-0.904, P<0.001), respectively. Conclusion:NPSLE patients have reduced gray matter volume in multiple brain regions (concentrating in the prefrontal limbic system); and reduced FC with some brain regions is noted; multiple indexes are correlated with clinical indexes.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
5.Clinical characteristics and antiviral therapy of influenza in immunosuppressed hospitalized patients

		                        			Objective:To analyse the clinical characteristics and antiviral therapy in immunosuppressed hospitalized patients with influenza.Methods:The clinical data of 273 patients with positive influenza A or B virus nucleic acid admitted in Peking University People’s Hospital from November 2015 to March 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 123 were immunosuppressed and 150 were non-immunosuppressed. The clinical characteristics and antiviral therapy in immunosuppressed patients with influenza were analyzed. SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results:Chemotherapy for malignancies was the most common cause of immunosuppression (61.8%, 76/123), followed by haemopoietic stem cell transplantation (24.4%, 30/123). The common symptoms were fever (93.5%, 115/123) and cough (41.5%, 51/123). The proportions of co-infections (22.8%, 28/123) and complications (43.9%, 54/123) in immunosuppressed hospitalized patients were higher than those in non-immunosuppressed patients ( χ2=9.365 and 7.496, both P<0.01). Compared with single drug therapy, combination of antiviral drugs did not shorten the fever time, negative conversion time of virus nucleic acid and the length of hospital stay, and reduce the death ( U/ χ2=312.5, 356.0, 749.5 and 0.185, all P>0.05). Compared to patients without corticosteroids use, the use of corticosteroids did not increase mortality in immunosuppressed patients ( χ2=2.508, P=0.113). Conclusions:Classical symptoms may be absent in immunosuppressed patients with influenza, and early detection of influenza virus is still an important means of early diagnosis. Co-infections and complications are more common in immunosuppressed influenza patients. 		                        			The Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic has triggered a huge impact on healthcare, socioeconomics, and other aspects of the world over the past three years. An increasing number of studies have identified a complex relationship between COVID-19 and stroke, although active measures are being implemented to prevent disease transmission. Severe COVID-19 may be associated with an increased risk of stroke and increase the rates of disability and mortality, posing a serious challenge to acute stroke diagnosis, treatment, and care. This review aims to provide an update on the influence of COVID-19 itself or vaccines on stroke, including arterial stroke (ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke) and venous stroke (cerebral venous thrombosis). Additionally, the neurovascular mechanisms involved in SARS-CoV-2 infection and the clinical characteristics of stroke in the COVID-19 setting are presented. 7.Relationship between metabolic syndrome and 1-year prognosis of elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction

		                        			Objective:To investigate the relationship between metabolic syndrome and 1-year poor outcome in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).Methods:The clinical data of elderly patients with ACI admitted to Renqiu Kangjixintu Hospital from January 2014 to November 2018 were selected and divided into metabolic syndrome group (931 cases) and non-metabolic syndrome group (1 851 cases). The clinical data of the two groups of elderly patients with ACI were compared, and the effect of metabolic syndrome on poor outcome (modified Rankin scale>2 scores) of elderly patients with ACI in 1 year was analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression.Results:The proportion of female, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption and antiplatelet drug use in the metabolic syndrome group were higher than those in the non-metabolic syndrome group: 52.74%(491/931) vs. 32.58%(603/1 851), 79.16%(737/931) vs. 64.29% (1 190/1 851), 42.32% (394/931) vs. 6.43% (119/1 851), 17.19% (160/931) vs. 11.62% (215/1 851), 18.90% (176/931) vs. 14.10% (261/1 851), 62.73% (584/931) vs. 50.89% (942/1 851), 3.73% (69/931) vs. 1.61% (15/1 851), 19.23% (179/931) vs. 15.51% (287/1 851), the levels of body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting plasma glucose (TG), total cholesterol (TC), platelet (PLT), fibrinogen (FIB), fall score were higher than those in non-metabolic syndrome group: 26.67 (25.31, 28.60) kg/m 2 vs. 23.30 (21.48, 24.91) kg/m 2, (167.17 ± 22.96) mmHg (1 mmHg = 0.133 kPa) vs. (164.21 ± 24.90) mmHg, (87.06 ± 13.10) mmHg vs. (85.76 ± 12.99) mmHg, (7.33 ± 2.64) mmol/L vs. (5.35 ± 1.38) mmol/L, (2.12 ± 1.51) mmol/L vs. (1.13 ± 0.78) mmol/L, (4.97 ± 1.31) mmol/L vs. (4.65 ± 0.99) mmol/L, 213.00 (179.00, 256.00) × 10 9/L vs. 203.00 (172.00, 241.00) × 10 9/L, 3.07 (2.63, 3.52) g/L vs. 2.94 (2.55, 3.37) g/L, (6.12 ± 1.70) scores vs. (5.93±1.74) scores, the levels of age, high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), homocysteine (Hcy) and pressure ulcer score were lower than those of non-metabolic syndrome group: (69.29 ± 6.96) years vs. (71.28 ± 7.66) years, (0.98 ± 0.34) mmol/L vs. (1.31 ± 0.88) mmol/L, (18.93 ± 13.07) mmol/L vs. (21.66 ± 16.39) mmol/L, (18.55 ± 2.42) vs. (19.02 ± 2.43), with statistical significance ( P<0.05). After 1-year follow-up, the proportion of poor outcomes in the metabolic syndrome group was higher than that in the non-metabolic syndrome group: 21.70%(202/931) vs. 18.69% (346/1 851), with statistical significance ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, stroke, national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score at admission, systolic blood pressure, Hcy, pressure ulcer score, fall score, metabolic syndrome were independent risk factors for poor outcome of ACI in 1 year ( OR = 1.056, 1.309, 1.138, 1.005, 1.006, 0.882, 1.076 and 1.285; 95% CI 1.040 to 1.072, 1.037 to 1.652, 1.097 to 1.180, 1.000 to 1.010, 1.000 to 1.013, 0.834 to 0.933, 1.004 to 1.152 and 1.001 to 1.657; P<0.05). Conclusions:Multiple risk factors for stroke are closely related to poor outcome of ACI in the elderly. 8.Multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction with cardiogenic shock caused by anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery: a case report

		                        			Anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery is a rare abnormal coronary artery development disease, which affects myocardial blood perfusion in the absence of significant coronary artery stenosis. Such patients have a high risk of sudden death, and their disease progresses rapidly, and their clinical manifestations are easily confused with myocardial diseases. We report a case of a 13-year-old young patient whose diagnosis was confirmed, the condition was stabilized at an early stage, and the abnormal coronary structure was corrected by coronary decapitation through a multidisciplinary combination of cardiology, cardiac surgery, ICU, and imaging. 9.Evaluation of polysaccharide hemostatic system for arterial hemorrhage of upper digestive tract

		                        			Objective:To study the efficacy and safety of EndoClot polysaccharide hemostatic system (EndoClot PHS) for heparinized arterial hemorrhage of upper digestive tract (Forrest Ⅰa) in animal model.Methods:Twelve experimental pigs were randomly divided into the test group ( n=6) and the control group ( n=6) by simple random grouping method. Gastric arterial hemorrhage models were established. Endoclot PHS and Hemospray were used to spray on the wound to stop bleeding in the test group and the control group respectively. The time of effective hemostasis, the amount of hemostatic particles used, and the blockage of the powder feeding tube and its replacement were compared between the two groups. The survival and complications of experimental pigs were observed after the operation. In 10 days after the operation, the experimental pigs were euthanized for pathological dissection. Results:Spurting or pulsatile bleeding was achieved in all experimental pigs. There were significant differences in the time of effective hemostasis (8.75±0.84 min VS 9.83±0.62 min, t=-2.53, P=0.030) and the amount of hemostatic particles used to achieve effective hemostasis (6.71±0.39 g VS 14.10±1.62 g, t=-10.86, P<0.001) between the test group and the control group. There was no significant difference in the occurence of clogging or the replacement of powder feeding pipes between the two groups (0.64±0.02 times VS 0.67±0.04 times, t=-1.64, P=0.131). In addition, the gas source of the test group was stable, and the visual field under the endoscope was clear. Neither the test group nor the control group had gastric lesions, perforation, or embolism. The blood glucose, blood routine, and liver and kidney functions were normal, and no thrombosis or embolism of the main organs occurred in either group. Conclusion:EndoClot PHS is safe and effective for heparinized upper gastrointestinal arterial hemorrhage (Forrest Ⅰa) in animal models.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
10.Phosphorylation regulates cullin-based ubiquitination in tumorigenesis.

		                        			Cullin-RING ligases (CRLs) recognize and interact with substrates for ubiquitination and degradation, and can be targeted for disease treatment when the abnormal expression of substrates involves pathologic processes. Phosphorylation, either of substrates or receptors of CRLs, can alter their interaction. Phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination and proteasome degradation influence various cellular processes and can contribute to the occurrence of various diseases, most often tumorigenesis. These processes have the potential to be used for tumor intervention through the regulation of the activities of related kinases, along with the regulation of the stability of specific oncoproteins and tumor suppressors. This review describes the mechanisms and biological functions of crosstalk between phosphorylation and ubiquitination, and most importantly its influence on tumorigenesis, to provide new directions and strategies for tumor therapy.
