1.Improve effects of aromatase inhibitors on the height of children with short stature

		                        			The primary approach for clinical treatment of short stature (SS) in children is the use of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH). However, the high cost of treatment and the daily injection frequency place a significant economic and psychological burden on the families of affected children. For SS adolescents who have missed the peak growth velocity period of puberty, the use of rhGH alone is also difficult to significantly increase their final adult height. Numerous studies have shown that aromatase inhibitors (AIs) are effective in improving the height of SS boys, especially the combination therapy of AIs and rhGH, which has a better effect. Although the use of AIs may affect the children’s bones, cognitive function, reproductive system and hormone levels, most of these effects are temporary. Since existing research has not fully elucidated its impact on the pubertal changes of girls, it is necessary to fully weigh the benefits and risks when using AIs to treat SS girls in clinical practice. In the future, it is also necessary to carry out pharmacoeconomic research based on the medical environment of China to evaluate the cost- effectiveness of AIs for SS in children.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Advances on PET/CT for the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease

		                        			With the intensification of population aging, the proportion of people with dementia in our country is rising sharply, bringing a heavy economic and caregiving burden to families and society. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a spectrum of progressive cognitive impairment disorders that onset in old age, characterized by memory decline, reduced attention and executive function, and in the late stages of the disease, it can even progress to dementia, ultimately leading to the loss of self-care abilities and further increasing the pressure on families and society. Patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) can be in a preclinical stage for decades without obvious clinical cognitive decline, but significant pathological changes have already occurred in the brain, including the aggregation of beta-amyloid (Aβ) to form senile plaques, the hyperphosphorylation and aggregation of tau protein to form neurofibrillary tangles, vascular amyloid deposition, synaptic and neuronal loss, as well as neuroinflammation. This stage represents the best opportunity for early intervention in AD. Accurate diagnosis or prediction of AD risk and implementation of intervention measures can significantly delay or prevent the progression of AD. In recent years, the application of various tracers that track the neuropathological changes of AD in PET/CT has led to significant progress in clinical research on the imaging diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and prognostic prediction of preclinical and early-stage AD. This article will review the application of PET/CT and PET/MR techniques marked with Aβ, tau protein, fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG), synaptic, and inflammatory tracers in the early diagnosis, differential diagnosis, disease staging, treatment monitoring, and prognostic prediction of AD, and compare the relative utility and limitations of these tracers as biomarkers, providing a basis and reference for clinicians to choose appropriate PET markers in the research of early diagnosis and treatment of preclinical AD and early-stage AD. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Effect and Mechanism of Total Saponins from Panax Japonicus on White Adipose Tissue Browning/Brown Adipose Tissue Activation in High-fat Diet-induced Mice

		                        			ObjectiveTo investigate the effect and mechanism of total saponins from Panax japonicus (TSPJ) on white adipose tissue (WAT) browning/brown adipose tissue (BAT) activation in C57BL6/J male mice fed on a high-fat diet (HFD). MethodThirty-two C57BL6/J male mice (8-week-old) were randomly divided into a normal group, a model group, a low-dose TSPJ group, and a high-dose TSPJ group. The mice in the low-dose and high-dose TSPJ groups were given TSPJ for four months by gavage at 25, 75 mg·kg-1·d-1, respectively, and those in the other groups were given 0.5% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-Na) accordingly. After four months of feeding, all mice were placed at 4 ℃ for acute cold exposure, and the core body temperature was monitored. Subsequently, all mice were sacrificed, and BAT and inguinal WAT (iWAT) were separated rapidly to detect the corresponding indexes. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was used to observe the morphological changes in each group. The effect of TSPJ on the mRNA expression of uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1), fatty acid-binding protein 4 (FABP4), cytochrome C (CytC), PR domain-containing protein 16 (PRDM16), elongation of very long chain fatty acids protein 3 (ELOVL3), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ coactivator-1α (PGC-1α) in iWAT and BAT was detected by Real-time polymerase chain reaction (Real-time PCR). Western blot was also used to detect the protein expression of UCP1, PRDM16, PPARγ, and PGC-1α in BAT and iWAT of each group. The effect of TSPJ on UCP1 expression in BAT and iWAT was detected by immunohistochemistry. Result① Compared with the model group, TSPJ could decrease the body weight and proportions of iWAT and BAT in the HFD-induced mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). ② The body temperature of mice in the model group decreased compared with that in the normal group in the acute cold exposure tolerance test (P<0.05). The body temperature in the high-dose TSPJ group increased compared with that in the model group (P<0.01). ③ Compared with the normal group, the model group showed increased adipocyte diameter in iWAT and BAT and decreased number of adipocytes per unit area. Compared with the model group, the TSPJ groups showed significantly reduced cell diameter and increased number of cells per unit area, especially in the high-dose TSPJ group. ④ Compared with the normal group, the model group showed decreased mRNA expression of FABP4, UCP1, CytC, PRDM16, ELOVL3, PGC-1α, and PPARγ in adipose tissues of mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with the model group, after intervention with TSPJ, the mRNA expression was significantly up-regulated (P<0.05, P<0.01). ⑤ Compared with the normal group, the model group showed decreased protein expression of UCP1, PRDM16, PPARγ, and PGC-1α in adipose tissues of mice (P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with the model group, after intervention with TSPJ, the protein expression increased significantly (P<0.05, P<0.01). ConclusionTSPJ could induce the browning of iWAT/BAT activation and enhance adaptive thermogenesis in obese mice induced by HFD. 		                        			The awake prone position plays an important role in the treatment of hypoxemia and the improvement of respiratory distress symptoms in non-intubated patients. It is widely used in clinical practice because of its simple operation, safety, and economy. To enable clinical medical staff to scientifically and normatively implement prone position for awake patients without intubation, the committees of consensus formulation, guided by evidence-based methodology and Delphi method, conducted literature search, literature quality evaluation and evidence synthesis around seven topics, including indications and contraindications, evaluation, implementation, monitoring and safety management, termination time, complication prevention and health education of awake prone position. 		                        			Microcystin-leucine arginine (MC-LR), a potentially carcinogenic toxin, is produced by Cyanobacteria such as Microcystis and Ananabacteria during water bloom. Increasing evidence demonstrated that MC-LR induces male reproductive toxicity, mainly by inducing germ cell apoptosis, destroying cell cytoskeleton, interfering with DNA damage repair pathway, and damaging blood-testicular barrier (BTB), which eventually lead to male sterility. Testicular Sertoli cells are the somatic cells that directly contact with spermatogenic cells in seminiferous tubules. They not only regulate immune response to maintain testicular immune homeostasis by secreting a variety of cytokines and immunosuppressive factors, but also provide the protective effects of spermatogenic cells by forming BTB. 6.Mediating effect of cognitive emotion regulation strategy on stress overload and stress response of palliative care nurses

		                        			Objective:To explore the current status and correlation between stress overload, different cognitive emotion regulation strategies and stress response in palliative care nurses, and to provide reference for reducing stress reaction of hospice nurses.Methods:A total of 448 palliative care nurses from Beijing City, Jiangsu Province, Hunan Province and Anhui Province were selected as subjects by convenience sampling method in February 2022. The general information questionnaire, Stress Overload Scale, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire and Stress Response Questionnaire were used to conduct a cross-sectional survey. After analyzing their scores, correlation analysis and mediating effect analysis were conducted.Results:The stress overload score of palliative care nurses was 66.00 (55.00, 67.00), and the stress response score was 80.00 (63.00, 84.00). The stress overload was positively correlated with the stress response ( r=0.735, P<0.05), and the positive emotion regulation strategy was negatively correlated with the stress response ( r=-0.440, P<0.05), negative emotion regulation strategy was positively correlated with stress response ( r=0.747, P<0.05). The cognitive emotion regulation strategy had a partial mediating effect between the stress overload and the stress response, accounting for 29.6% of the total effect. Conclusions:Cognitive emotion regulation is the mediating variable between stress overload and stress response of palliative care nurses. Managers should pay more attention to the stress level and mental health status of palliative care nurses, and guide them to choose appropriate emotional regulation strategies, so as to reduce stress response and maintain physical and mental health.

		                        			Objective: To investigate the incidence and treatment of perioperative anemia in patients with gastrointestinal neoplasms in Hubei Province. Methods: The clinicopathological data of 7 474 patients with gastrointestinal neoplasms in 62 hospitals in 15 cities (state) of Hubei Province in 2019 were collected in the form of network database. There were 4 749 males and 2 725 females. The median age of the patients was 62 years (range: 17 to 96 years). The hemoglobin value of the first time in hospital and the first day after operation was used as the criterion of preoperative anemia and postoperative anemia. Anemia was defined as male hemoglobin <120 g/L and female hemoglobin <110.0 g/L, mild anemia as 90 to normal, moderate anemia as 60 to <90 g/L, severe anemia as <60 g/L. The t test and χ2 test were used for inter-group comparison. Results: The overall incidence of preoperative anemia was 38.60%(2 885/7 474), and the incidences of mild anemia, moderate anemia and severe anemia were 25.09%(1 875/7 474), 11.37%(850/7 474) and 2.14%(160/7 474), respectively. The overall incidence of postoperative anemia was 61.40%(4 589/7 474). The incidence of mild anemia, moderate anemia and severe anemia were 48.73%(3 642/7 474), 12.20%(912/7 474) and 0.47%(35/7 474), respectively. The proportion of preoperative anemia patients receiving treatment was 26.86% (775/2 885), and the proportion of postoperative anemia patients receiving treatment was 14.93% (685/4 589). The proportions of preoperative anemia patients in grade ⅢA, grade ⅢB, and grade ⅡA hospitals receiving treatment were 26.12% (649/2 485), 32.32% (85/263), and 29.93% (41/137), and the proportions of postoperative anemia patients receiving treatment were 14.61% (592/4 052), 22.05% (73/331), and 9.71% (20/206). The proportion of intraoperative blood transfusion (16.74% (483/2 885) vs. 3.05% (140/4 589), χ²=434.555, P<0.01) and the incidence of postoperative complications (17.78% (513/2 885) vs. 14.08% (646/4 589), χ²=18.553, P<0.01) in the preoperative anemia group were higher than those in the non-anemia group, and the postoperative hospital stay in the preoperative anemia group was longer than that in the non-anemia group ((14.1±7.3) days vs. (13.3±6.2) days, t=5.202, P<0.01). Conclusions: The incidence of perioperative anemia in patients with gastrointestinal neoplasms is high. Preoperative anemia can increase the demand for intraoperative blood transfusion and affect the short-term prognosis of patients. 8.LncRNA WT1-AS Knockdown Promotes Invasion and Migration of Triple Negative Breast Cancer MDA-MB-231 Cells

		                        			Objective To investigate the effect of LncRNA WT1-AS on the invasion and migration of triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells. Methods qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression of WT1-AS and the efficiency of gene silencing in MDA-MB-231 cells. Transwell invasion test and scratch test were used to detect the invasion and migration of MDA-MB-231 cells; Western blot was used to detect the expression of E-cadherin, N-cadherin, Vimentin and Snail in MDA-MB-231 cells. Results Compared with normal human mammary epithelial cells, the expression of WT1-AS in MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-453 and MDA-MB-468 cells were significantly up-regulated. Knockdown of WT1-AS significantly reduced the invasion and migration abilities of MDA-MB-231 cells, the expression of E-cadherin was increased but N-cadherin, Vimentin and Snail expression were decreased. 9.Clinical Significance of Tfh/Tfr Cell Imbalance in Patients with B-Cell Lymphoma.

		                        			To explore the role of follicular helper T cell (Tfh)/ follicular regulatory T cell (Tfr) imbalance in B-cell lymphoma (BCL).
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			Sixteen BCL patients who were admitted to the Department of Hematology of The First People's Hospital of Yichang and 20 healthy people from December 2019 to November 2020 were enrolled and respectively divided into observation group and control group. The levels of Tfh and Tfr in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. The changes of Tfh, Tfr, and Tfh/Tfr ratio were compared and the relationship between Tfh/Tfr ratio and efficacy, prognosis was analyzed.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			Compared with the healthy controls, Tfh and Tfh/Tfr ratio in peripheral blood of the BCL patients increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), while levels of Tfr was decreased (P<0.01). After chemotherapy, Tfh and Tfh/Tfr ratio in peripheral blood of the BCL patients decreased significantly than before chemotherapy (P<0.01), but Tfr was no significant difference. Multivariate analysis showed that Tfh and Tfh/Tfr ratio were positively correlated with international prognostic index (IPI) score and Ann Arbor stage (r=0.626, 0.564, 0.573, 0.608, respectively), while Tfr negatively (r=-0.504, -0.542, respectively). According to the average value of Tfh/Tfr ratio at initial diagnosis, BCL patients were divided into Tfh/Tfr high ratio group and low ratio group. It was found that the complete remission (CR) rate, overall response rate (ORR), and survival time in the high ratio group were significantly lower than the low ratio group (P<0.01).
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			There is an imbalance of Tfh/Tfr ratio in peripheral blood of the BCL patients, and those with a high Tfh/Tfr ratio have lower CR, ORR and shorter survival time.

10.COX regression analyze of prognostic factors in patients with extremely severe burn

		                        			Objective:To investigate the risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with extremely severe burns.Methods:Totally 46 patients with extremely severe burn in the dust explosion of aluminum powder in Kunshan, Jiangsu province on August 2, 2014 were included in this study. The patients were divided into the survival group and death group according to the prognosis of the patients. The patients' age, sex, burn degree, white blood cell, and lactic acid at admission, lactic acid at 48 h, creatinine, albumin, urine volume, blood calcium, acute physiology and chronic health score system II (APACHE II) and SOFA scores, and 90 d mortality were collected. COX regression analysis was used to analyze the possible relationship between the indicators of the two groups and the prognosis.Results:There were no significant differences in white blood cell at admission, creatinine, albumin, urine volume, SOFA score, and APACHE II score in the survival group compared with those in the death group (all P>0.05) and burn degree, the levels of lactic acid at admission, lactic acid at 48 h and blood calcium were significantly different (all P<0.05). Multivariate regression analysis showed that age, albumin and lactic acid at 48 h were independent predictors of death in patients with severe burn ( P<0.05), and these are independent outcome predictors of patients with severe burns ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Age, albumin level and lactic acid at 48 h are independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with severe burns.
