		                        			Cognitive reserve referred to the cumulative flexibility of an individual's cognitive processes,whereas accurately assessing an individual's cognitive reserve and intervening was important for preventing the occurrence of cognitive dysfunction as well as promoting cognitive health.This article reviewed the main contents and applications of cognitive reserve assessment tools,and compared the characteristics and limitations of each assessment tool.The purpose was to provide ideas for the development of cognitive reserve assessment tools suitable for China's cultural background and population characteristics,and to provide a basis for accurately assessing the current status of China's cognitive reserve and formulating targeted cognitive reserve enhancement programs.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Histopathological changes in secondary visual cortex and enhanced calcium activity in neurons being involved in microwave radiation-induced anxiety-like behavior

		                        			Objective:To clarify the effects of microwave radiation on anxiety-like behavior, the histomorphology of the secondary visual cortex, and calcium activity in neurons.Methods:36 C57BL/6N mice were selected and divided into control group and microwave radiation group according to the random number table method. In the simple behavioral testing, there were 8 mice in the control group and 7 mice in the radiation group. Combining fiber optic recording with behavioral experiments, there were 8 mice in the control group and 7 mice in the radiation group. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining was conducted with 3 mice in each group. A high-power microwave simulated source in the X-band with a center frequency of 9.875 GHz and an average power density of 12 mW/cm 2 was used to irradiate the mice for 15 minutes, establishing a microwave radiation animal model. Then, anxiety-like behavior changes in the radiation group were identified using the open-field and elevated plus maze (EPM) tests. The effects of microwave radiation on the histomorphology of the secondary visual cortex were investigated using HE staining and optical microscopy. Based on the genetically encoded calcium imaging technique, as well as optical fiber recording combined with behavioral paradigms in the open field and the EPM, the changes of calcium activity in neurons in the V2M region of the secondary visual cortex were detected. Results:Compared to the control group, the radiation group showed a significant decrease in the frequency of exploring the central region of the open field and the open arm of the EPM ( t = 2.24, 3.10, P < 0.05). Furthermore, the radiation group exhibited the degeneration and apoptosis of some neurons in the secondary visual cortex, primarily manifested as pyknosis and deep staining, cell body shrinkage, and the slightly widening of perivascular space. Fiber optic recordings and behavioral experiments indicated that compared to the control group, mice in the radiation group exhibited significantly increased calcium activities in neurons of the secondary visual cortex when exploring the central region of the open field ( t = -2.75, P < 0.05) or the open arm of the EPM ( t = -2.77, -3.41, P < 0.05) compared to those before radiation after microwave exposure. Conclusions:Microwave radiation can induce anxiety-like behaviors and histopathological changes in the secondary visual cortex. Increased calcium activity in neurons of the secondary visual cortex is proved to be an important mechanism underlying the changes in anxiety-like behavior due to microwave radiation.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Comparison on efficacy of MRI-transrectal ultrasound software fusion-guided biopsy and cognitive fusion-guided biopsy for detecting prostate cancer

		                        			Objective To compare the efficacy of MRI-transrectal ultrasound(TRUS)software fusion-guided biopsy and cognitive fusion-guided biopsy for detecting prostate cancer(PC).Methods Data of 120 patients with suspected PC(127 lesions)who underwent transperineal prostate biopsy with 2-3 times of target biopsy(TB)and 10 times of system biopsy were retrospectively analyzed.According to TB guidance methods,73 cases(78 lesions)received MRI-TRUS software fusion-guided biopsy were classified into group A,and 47 cases(49 lesions)received cognitive fusion-guided biopsy were classified into group B.The positive rate of PC,clinic significant PC(csPC)and PC in different sized lesions by TB were compared between groups,and the positive rate of PC between 2 or 3 times TB was also compared within each group.Results The positive rate of PC and csPC detected by TB was 55.13%(43/78)and 39.74%(31/78)in group A,53.06%(26/49)and 34.69%(17/49)in group B,respectively,no significant difference was found(all P>0.05).The positive rate of PC in lesions with the maximum diameter≤10 mm detected by TB in group A was higher than that in group B(P<0.05),but no significant difference of lesions with the maximum diameter>10 mm and<15 mm nor≥15 mm was found between groups(all P>0.05).No significant difference of positive rate of PC was found between 2 and 3 times TB in group A(P>0.05),while positive rate of PC of 3 times TB was significantly higher than that of 2 times TB in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion MRI-TRUS software fusion-guided biopsy had positive rate of PC and csPC similar to that of cognitive fusion-guided biopsy,but was helpful for reducing times of TB and increasing detecting rate for lesions with the maximum diameter≤10 mm.

5.Relationship between perceived social support and family function in parents of pediatric liver transplant recipients: a chain mediation effect analysis

		                        			Objective:To investigate the chain mediation effect of psychological flexibility and dyadic coping between perceived social support and family function in parents of pediatric liver transplant recipients.Methods:Totally 320 parents of pediatric liver transplant recipients who were treated at the Department of Pediatric Organ Transplantation, Tianjin First Central Hospital from April to October 2023 were selected by convenience sampling. The participants were surveyed using a general information questionnaire, the Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS), the Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-Ⅱ (AAQ-Ⅱ), the Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI), and the Family APGAR Index (APGAR). Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationships between perceived social support, psychological flexibility, dyadic coping, and family function in these parents. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was performed using Amos 26.0 to analyze the chain mediation effect of psychological flexibility and dyadic coping between perceived social support and family function, with the Bootstrap method used for model testing.Results:A total of 320 questionnaires were distributed, with 312 valid responses, yielding a response rate of 97.50% (312/320). The scores for the 312 parents were as follows: PSSS (59.29±15.64), AAQ-Ⅱ (20.35±9.07), DCI (124.64±32.65), and APGAR (6.98±2.74). Family function was positively correlated with perceived social support and dyadic coping ( P<0.01), and perceived social support was positively correlated with dyadic coping ( P<0.01). Psychological flexibility was negatively correlated with family function, perceived social support, and dyadic coping ( P<0.01). SEM results showed that psychological flexibility and dyadic coping had a significant chain mediation effect between perceived social support and family function, with a mediation effect value of 0.059. The chain mediation effect of psychological flexibility and dyadic coping accounted for 13.81% of the total effect (0.059/0.427) . Conclusions:Perceived social support directly affects family function in parents of pediatric liver transplant recipients and also indirectly influences family function through the chain mediation effect of psychological flexibility and dyadic coping.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
6.Meta-synthesis of qualitative research on the life experiences of young-onset dementia patients

		                        			Objective:To systematically evaluate the life experiences of young-onset dementia (YOD) patients and provide a basis for healthcare professionals to develop effective support service strategies.Methods:Qualitative studies on the life experiences of YOD patients were retrieved from PubMed, Embase, Medline, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP, WanFang data, and China Biology Medicine disc. The search timeframe was from the establishment of the databases to December 10, 2023. A Meta-synthesis approach was used to integrate the results.Results:A total of 17 articles were included, from which 69 findings were extracted, forming 11 categories and synthesizing into four integrated results: the heavy physical and psychological burden borne by YOD patients, impairment in multiple roles and social isolation, unique needs of YOD patients, and various coping strategies of YOD patients.Conclusions:Healthcare professionals should focus on the personal stories of YOD patients, pay attention to their physiological, psychological, and social challenges, and continuously improve supportive care services to alleviate their psychological burden, promote social connections, assist in resuming life, and enhance their quality of life.

8.Effects of butylphthalide combined with ozagrel sodium on National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score, activities of daily living score, and coagulation function in patients with acute cerebral infarction

		                        			Objective:To investigate the effects of butylphthalide combined with ozagrel sodium on the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, activities of daily living (ADL) score, and coagulation function in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods:Ninety-four patients with acute cerebral infarction who were admitted to Gujiao Medical Group Central Hospital from January 2019 to November 2021 were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to undergo treatment with either ozagrel sodium (control group, n = 47) or butylphthalide combined with ozagrel sodium (observation group, n = 47) for 14 consecutive days. Before and after treatment, NIHSS score, ADL score, coagulation function (thrombin time, prothrombin time, D-dimer, activated partial thrombin time), bilateral middle cerebral artery blood flow status (mean blood flow velocity (Vm), resistance index, pulsatility index), brain tissue damage factor (brain natriuretic peptide, neuron-specific enolase, S100 β protein) and the incidence of adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in NIHSS and ADL scores between the two groups (both P > 0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS score was significantly lower in the observation group than that in the control group [(8.70 ± 1.62) points vs. (9.45 ± 1.2) points, t = 2.51, P < 0.05]; the ADL score was significantly higher in the observation group than that in the control group [(65.15 ± 7.41) points vs. (61.20 ± 6.32) points, t = 2.78, P < 0.05]. Before treatment, there were no significant differences in thrombin time, prothrombin time, D-dimer, and activated partial thrombin time between the two groups (all P > 0.05). After treatment, thrombin time, prothrombin time, and activated partial thrombin time were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group ( t = 4.34, 3.00, 2.63, all P < 0.05). After treatment, D-dimer level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( t = 3.39, P < 0.05). Before treatment, mean blood flow velocity, resistance index, and pulsatility index were similar between the two groups (all P > 0.05). After treatment, the mean blood flow velocity in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( t = 3.23, P < 0.05). The pulsatility index and resistance index were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group ( t = 2.14, 3.16, both P < 0.05). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in brain natriuretic peptide, neuron-specific enolase, and S100 β protein levels between the two groups (all P > 0.05). After treatment, brain natriuretic peptide, neuron-specific enolase, and S100 β protein levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t = 3.09, 2.18, 3.33, all P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between the observation and control groups [6.38% (3/47) vs. 2.13% (1/47), P > 0.05]. Conclusion:Butylphthalide combined with ozagrel sodium for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction can reduce neurological dysfunction and brain tissue injury, and improve coagulation function, hemodynamic state of the middle cerebral artery, and activities of daily life, without increasing adverse reactions.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
9.Mechanism of the therapeutic effect of Tetrandrine on striatum injury caused by microwave radiation

		                        			Objective:To study the therapeutic effect Tetrandrine (TET) on striatal injury caused by microwave radiation and underlying mechanism.Methods:C57BL/6N mice were randomly divided into blank control group (C), radiation control group (R), TET group (TET) and TET combined with radiation group (TET+ R). The mice of radiation group were exposed to 2.856 GHz 8 mW/cm2 microwave on whole-body for 15 min. TET (60 mg/kg) was injected intraperitoneally once a day for 3 consecutive days. The TET structure was verified by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The open field experiment was used to detect the change of anxiety in mice. Histopathological and ultrastructural changes of the striatum were observed by light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TMT). Quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) was used to detect gene expression changes of voltage-gated calcium channel (VGCC) subtype in the striatum.Results:The open field experiments showed that the time and distance of mice to explore the central region after microwave radiation were significantly lower than that before radiation ( t=4.60, 5.18, P<0.01), and the TET administration significantly improved these changes ( F=1.43, 4.37, P < 0.05). 7 d after microwave radiation, some neuronal nuclei in the striatum of mice contracted and could be stained deeply, which was more obvious in the globus pallidus area. The partial neuronal apoptosis, swelling and cavitation of glial cell mitochondria, blurring of synaptic gaps, and widening of perivascular gaps in the striatum were observed by TMT. The above lesions were significantly rescued after TET administration. But both microwave radiation and TET administration had no significant effect on the gene expressions of striatal VGCC ( P > 0.05). Conclusions:TET has a therapeutic effect on anxiety-like behavior and structural damage of striatum caused by microwave radiation, which is independent of the expression of striatal VGCC genes.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
10.Practice and exploration of improving the rational use of drugs in primary medical institutions by the general pharmacist system of the medical consortium

		                        			OBJECTIVE To explore and establis h a general pharmacist system suitable for China ’s national conditions ,and to improve the rational use of drugs in primary medical institutions . METHODS Under the leadership of Tianhe District Health Bureau of Guangzhou ,relying on the regional pharmaceutical specialty alliance ,general pharmacist system of medical consortium was established ,and the general pharmacist was responsible for the overall planning of pharmaceutical care in the medical consortium. The joint management office of pharmaceutical care was established ,and the training of the pharmacists in the medical consortium was organized. A regional audit center was established to realize the prescription review of 13 community health service centers in the medical consortium. “Internet plus ”home pharmaceutical care was carried out ,and science popularization education was provided for communities ,schools,enterprises and institutions. RESULTS After systematic training and assessment ,three pharmacist teams had been successfully established in the medical consortium to provide prescription review ,science popularization and education and family pharmacist services for community residents ;the regional audit center successfully intercepted 17.17% of unreasonable prescriptions ,reducing the amount of unreasonable drug use by a total of 6.56 million yuan. After the intervention of prescription review system ,the qualified rate of outpatient prescriptions in community health service centers was ≥95%,and the qualified rate increased by an average of 6%. The department of pharmaceutical science popularization and education held 35 science popularization and free clinic activities ,of which 71.20% of the residents believed that the activities had improved their understanding of drugs. In addition ,111 cases patients serviced by home pharmaceutical care were carried out successfully by pharmacist team ,and the patients ’acceptance of pharmacist intervention was 91.89% . CONCLUSIONS Under the new medical reform ,it is feasible to implement a regional general pharmacist system within the medical consortium , which improves the pharmaceutical administration and pharmaceuticalcare capabilities of m edical institutions in the medical consortium,as well as the level of rational drug use ,and reduces the me dical burden.
