OBJECTIVE To systematically evaluate the risk factors for cefoperazone/sulbactam-induced coagulation dysfunction in adult patients. METHODS Retrieved from CNKI, VIP, CBM, Wanfang data, PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library, randomized controlled trial (RCT), case-control study or cohort study about cefoperazone/sulbactam-induced coagulation dysfunction in adult patients were collected from the inception to Apr. 30th, 2023. After literature screening, data extraction and quality evaluation, meta-analysis was carried out by using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS A total of 13 studies were included, among which 11 studies were case-control studies, and 2 studies were cohort studies, involving 18 387 patients in total. Meta- analysis showed that the proportion of advanced age [OR=2.04, 95%CI (1.14, 3.64), P=0.02], liver insufficiency [OR=5.95, 95%CI (4.21, 8.40), P<0.000 01], renal insufficiency [OR=3.51, 95%CI (3.04, 4.05), P<0.001], hypoproteinemia [OR= 1.90, 95%CI(1.37, 2.62), P<0.001], poor diet [OR=7.25, 95%CI (5.13, 10.24), P<0.000 01], daily dose of cefoperazone/ sulbactam ≥9 g [OR=3.95, 95%CI (2.45,6.37), P<0.001], medication duration of cefoperazone/sulbactam ≥10 d [OR=2.43, 95%CI (1.81, 3.28), P<0.001], combined use of anticoagulant drugs [OR=2.84, 95%CI (2.03, 3.97), P<0.001], combined with malignant tumor [OR=1.60, 95%CI (1.20, 2.15),P<0.001] in patients with abnormal coagulation function were significantly higher than those with normal coagulation function. CONCLUSIONS Advanced age, liver insufficiency, renal insufficiency, complicated with malignant tumors and hypoalbuminemia, combined use of anticoagulant drugs, poor diet, daily dose ≥9 g, and medication duration≥10 days are risk factors for coagulation dysfunction caused by cefoperazone/sulbactam.

Objective To investigate the effect of blood flow restriction combined with low-intensity plyometric jump training(LI-PJT+BFR)on lower limb dynamic postural control of functional ankle instability(FAI)in college students. Methods From March to May,2023,40 FAI college students were recruited from Xi'an Physical Education University, and randomly divided into high-intensity plyometric jump training(HI-PJT,n = 14)group,low-intensity plyomet-ric jump training(LI-PJT,n = 13)group and LI-PJT+BFR group(n = 13).All the groups finished the six-week corresponding training. The maximum voluntary isometric contraction(MVIC)of tibialis anterior, peroneus lon-gus,lateral head of gastrocnemius, gluteus maximus, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris and semitendinosus were measured, and the root mean square(RMS)of electromyography of these muscles was measured during the sin-gle-leg landing(SLL),using wireless surface electromyography before and after intervention. Moreover, they were assessed with Y-balance test and Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool(CAIT). Results MVIC and RMS of the target muscles improved after intervention in all the groups(t>2.218,P<0.05),except MVIC and RMS of peroneus longus, gluteus maximus, biceps femoris and semitendinosus in LI-PJT group, and RMS of peroneus longus in LI-PJT+BFR group;and MVIC and RMS of the target muscles were the least in LI-PJT group(F>3.262,P<0.05),except those of peroneus longus. The extension scores of Y-balance test and the total score improved after intervention(t>2.485,P<0.05),and they were the least in LI-PJT group(F>5.042,P<0.05).The CAIT score improved after intervention(t>5.227,P<0.001),and it was the least in LI-PJT group(F = 4.640,P<0.05). Conclusion LI-PJT+BFR could improve lower limb dynamic postural control of FAI college students, which is similar to HI-PJT.

At present, most surgeons use release and subcutaneous transposition of the ulnar nerve to treat cubital tunnel syndrome (CuTS). However, subcutaneous transposition of the ulnar nerve is not effective enough and leads to a high rate of recurrence in clinic when CuTS is complicated with elbow osteoarthritis (EOA). Therefore, an appropriate surgical treatment should be adopted as early as possible if the symptoms are not relieved by a conservative treatment in cases of EOA complicated with CuTS. Different surgical methods lead to different physiological environments of the ulnar nerve, resulting in different outcomes. As a result, the recurrence rate of subcutaneous transposition motion is higher in patients with EOA. Surgical submuscular transposition of the ulnar nerve under the muscle significantly reduces its angular formation during elbow flexion, provides it with a more favorable biological environment and a better anatomical position, benefits the vascular reconstruction and regeneration of the injured nerve, and reduces its chance of secondary entrapment, leading to a better prognosis and a lower recurrence rate. This literature review evaluates the surgical methods for patients with CuTS plus EOA in an attempt to provide helpful references for their treatment.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of hip neuromuscular training on reducing the risk of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in female soccer players. MethodsFrom March to May, 2022, 39 female soccer players from Xi'an Physical Education University were randomly divided into control group (n = 19) and experimental group (n = 20). On the basis of daily training, the control group received sham intervention, and the experimental group received hip neuromuscular training, for six weeks. Before and after training, they were measured dynamic knee valgus (DKV) angle and assessed with Landing Error Score System (LESS); while they were also measured the maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) and root mean square (RMS) of electromyography as single leg landing of gluteus medius and gluteus maximus. ResultsAll the indexes varied little after training in the control group (|t| < 1.178, P > 0.05), while the indexes improved in the experimental group (|t| > 2.288, P < 0.05), except sagittal score of LESS; and all the indexes improved more in the experimental group than in the control group (|t| > 2.609, P < 0.05), except sagittal score of LESS and MVIC of gluteus maximus. ConclusionHip neuromuscular training can reduce the risk of ACL injury in female soccer players.

Objective:To analyze the level and changing trend of significant injury-caused deaths in the Chinese population from 2010 to 2019 and provide evidence for related intervention. Methods:Data on notable injury-caused deaths in areas under National Disease Surveillance Programs were collected from 2010 to 2019. Crude and standardized mortality rates of four significant injuries were calculated to describe the status of injury-caused deaths. The trend of changes in standardized mortality rates was analyzed using the Joinpoint regression model. Results:The overall trend of standardized mortality rate on an injury during 2010-2019 was consistently decreasing (AAPC=-3.5%, P<0.001) while the general direction of accidental fall standardized mortality rate was increasing (AAPC=1.0%, P=0.104). The standardized mortality rate for significant injuries fluctuated with age, increasing for those aged 50-79 years (AAPC=3.9% for the 50- group, AAPC=5.6% for the 60- group, and AAPC=4.6% for the 70- group, all P<0.001). The standardized mortality rates for all major injuries were higher in males than those in females, with road traffic accidents and drowning declining faster in males than that in females (AAPC=-5.3% in the male road traffic accident group, AAPC=-3.8% in the female road traffic accident group, AAPC=-4.0% in the male drowning group, AAPC=-3.5% in the female drowning group, all P<0.001), and suicide and sequelae declining faster in females than that in males (AAPC=-6.4% in female, AAPC=-4.7% in male, all P<0.001). The standardized mortality rate for significant injuries was higher in rural than that in urban areas and decreased faster than that in urban areas. The central region had the highest standardized mortality rate for suicide and sequelae. The western part had the highest standardized mortality rates for road traffic accidents, accidental falls, and drowning, with the fastest decline in road traffic accidents and drowning (AAPC=-5.3% in the road traffic accident group and AAPC=-5.3% in the drowning group, both P<0.001). Conclusions:The mortality rate from significant injuries in the Chinese population showed a continuous downward trend from 2010 to 2019, with a rebound in the standardized mortality rate from accidental falls in recent years among the elderly, males, rural residents, and central and western regions being the focus of future prevention and control.

With the development of stem cell transplantation technology, anti-aging treatment or treatment of degenerative diseases through the input of stem cells has become a research hotspot. Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HUCMSCs) are unique precursor cells which are derived from Wharton’s jelly and the perivascular tissue of umbilical cord. They have been identified to be self-renewal and multi-differentiation potential. Currently, a large number of scientific studies have shown that HUCMSCs can achieve anti-aging effects by regenerating and repairing senescent cells, tissues and organs. This article reviews the research advances in biological characteristics, tissue regeneration and repair mechanisms, and anti-aging treatment mechanisms of HUCMSCs in detail. Besides, the current status of preclinical research on HUCMSCs is summarized, suggesting that HUCMSCs is a type of stem cell therapy with good potential and value.

OBJECTIVE:To explore losses and gains (L&G) and L&G ratio induced by Essential Medicine System in a county. METHODS:By choosing a county in western China as sample area, field investigation was used to collect outpatient and inpatient visits, outpatient and inpatient income, drug income, total length of stay and medical insurance reimbursement criteria in primary medical institutions (township health centers, village health rooms) of the county during 2009-2015. By setting the year 2009 as the baseline year, the drug cost reimbursed by medical insurance was simulated and calculated when Essential Medicine System were not implemented;L&G and L&G ratio of medical insurance were calculated by comparing with actual drug cost reimbursed by medical insurance. RESULTS:The year 2012,in which the sample county fully implemented the Essential Medicine System was the turning year. Medical insurance funds lost in primary medical institutions of the county during 2010-2011(lost 437000,915000 yuan, respectively),but gained during 2012 to 2015(gained 199000,494000,858000,1290000 yuan, respectively);the L&G ratio increased from -0.67% to 1.21%. For reimbursed outpatient drug cost and inpatient cost,L&G of medical insurance were different. For reimbursed drug cost of village health room and township health center,L&G of medical insurance were also different. CONCLUSIONS:The implementation of Essential Medicine System benefits to medical insurance within the county and Medical insurance funds can be saved.
