Today, there is greater awareness on the association between oral diseases and respiration diseases after the outbreak of COVID-19. However, confusion regarding the oral health management and medical risk prevention for patients with chronic airway diseases has been remained among dental clinicians. Therefore, the dental experts of the Fifth General Dentistry Special Committee, Chinese Stomatological Association, combined with the experts of respiratory and critical care medicine, undertook the formation of consensus on the oral health management of patients with chronic airway diseases in order to help dental clinicians to evaluate medical risks and make better treatment decision in clinical practice. In the present consensus report, the relationship of oral diseases and chronic airway diseases, the oral health management and the treatment recommendations of patients with chronic airway diseases are provided.

With the aging process of population in the society, the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in China is increasing continuously and the number of dental patients with CVD is increasing gradually too. Due to the lack of guidelines for dental patients with CVD in our country, how to implement standardized preoperative evaluation and perioperative risk prevention remains a problem to be solved for dentists at present. The present expert consensus was reached by combining the clinical experiences of the expert group of the Fifth General Dentistry Special Committee, Chinese Stomatological Association and respiratory and cardiology experts in diagnosis and treatment for CVD patients, and by systematically summarizing the relevant international guidelines and literature regarding the relationship between CVD and oral diseases and the diagnosis and treatment of dental patients with heart failure, hypertension and antithrombotic therapy. The consensus aims to provide, for the dental clinicians, the criteria on diagnosis and treatment of CVD in dental patients in China so as to reduce the risk and complications, and finally to improve the treatment levels of dental patients with CVD in China.

3.The Effect of Immunized Platelet Transfusion Refractoriness on Allo-HSCT Patients with Malignant Hematological Diseases.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the characteristics of platelet antibody in patients with hematological diseases, so as to research the effect of immunized platelet transfusion refractoriness (PTR) on the prognosis of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) recepients with malignant hematological diseases patients.
METHODS:
The clinical data of platelet antibody positive patients tested by Capture-P in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from July 1, 2014 to July 1, 2019 were retrospectively analyzed, including sex, age, disease, platelet transfusion assessments, CD34
RESULTS:
In 5 years, 913 (7.28%) hematologic patients with platelet antibody positive were identified, the detection rate of females (513 cases) were higher than males (400 cases). Among the 913 patients, the antibody positive rates of 520 patients with malignant hematological diseases (acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome) showed significantly statistical different (10.27%, 8.01%, and 7.20%) (P<0.01), and the positive rate of the acute myeloid leukemia of those patients was higher than myelodysplastic syndrome patients(α<0.0125). There were 35 cases diagnosed as immunized PTR before allo-HSCT, the platelet increments, 14 h correct count increment, progression-free survival rate and overall survival rate of those patients were significantly lower than those in negative transfusion effective patients (P<0.01), while the percentage of ABO matching was significantly higher (α<0.0125).
CONCLUSION
The positive rate of platelet antibody identification is high in females and acute myeloid leukemia patients, and immunized PTR caused by antibody is a risk factor for poor prognosis of allo-HSCT in malignant hematological disease patients.

Objective:
The relationship between serum uric acid (SUA) levels and glycemic indices, including plasma glucose (FPG), 2-hour postload glucose (2h-PG), and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), remains inconclusive. We aimed to explore the associations between glycemic indices and SUA levels in the general Chinese population.
Methods:
The current study was a cross-sectional analysis using the first follow-up survey data from The China Cardiometabolic Disease and Cancer Cohort Study. A total of 105,922 community-dwelling adults aged ≥ 40 years underwent the oral glucose tolerance test and uric acid assessment. The nonlinear relationships between glycemic indices and SUA levels were explored using generalized additive models.
Results:
A total of 30,941 men and 62,361 women were eligible for the current analysis. Generalized additive models verified the inverted U-shaped association between glycemic indices and SUA levels, but with different inflection points in men and women. The thresholds for FPG, 2h-PG, and HbA1c for men and women were 6.5/8.0 mmol/L, 11.0/14.0 mmol/L, and 6.1/6.5, respectively (SUA levels increased with increasing glycemic indices before the inflection points and then eventually decreased with further increases in the glycemic indices).
Conclusion
An inverted U-shaped association was observed between major glycemic indices and uric acid levels in both sexes, while the inflection points were reached earlier in men than in women.

5.Simultaneous determination of four constituents in Kaihoujian Spray by GC-FID

AIM To establish a gas chromatography-flame ionization detector (GC-FID) method for the simultaneous content determination of four constituents in Kaihoujian Spray (a spray for management of oral and laryngopharyngeal inflammatory condition,containing Sophorae tonkinensis Radix et Rhizoma,Cicadae Periostracum,menthol,etc.).METHODS The analysis of mixure of Kaihoujian Spray and internal standard (dibutyl phthalate) solution was conducted on an HP-INNOWax column (30 m ×0.25 mm ×0.25 μm),both of the injector temperature and detector temperature were set at 260 ℃,the split ratio was 5 ∶ 1,and the flowing rate was 1.5 mL/min.RESULTS Menthol,matrine,sophocarpine and sophoridine showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 0.228 7-2.287 0 mg/mL (r =0.999 7),0.011 1-0.111 0 mg/mL (r =0.999 6),0.016 8-0.168 0 mg/mL (r =0.999 8) and 0.003 4-0.034 0 mg/mL (r =0.999 4),whose average recoveries (n =9) were 98.4% (RSD=1.2%),95.9% (RSD=1.8%),96.2% (RSD=2.1%) and 97.1% (RSD=1.7%),respectively.CONCLUSION This accurate,sensitive and simple method can be used for the quality control of Kaihoujian Spray.
6.Determination of three constituents in Polygoni multiflori Radix Praeparata in plasma of atherosclerosis rats

AIM To establish an HPLC method for determining the contents of three constituents in Polygoni multiflori Radix Praeparata in plasma of atherosclerosis rats.METHODS After the rats were intragastrically administrated with Polygoni multiflori Radix Praeparata CMC-Na solution,the plasma was collected.The HPLC analysis was carried out on a 30 ℃ thermostatic Hypersil C1s column (250 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-0.03% phosphoric acid flowing at 0.9 mL/min in a gradient elution manner,and the detection wavelength was set at 280 nm.DAS2.0 software was applied to drawing concentration-time curves and calculating pharmacokinetic parameters.RESULTS Stilbene glucoside,emodin and physcion showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 61.25-6 125 μg/L (r =0.999 8),12.6-3 150 μg/L (r =0.999 3) and 24.1-6 030 μg/L (r =0.999 5),respectively.The method recoveries were 99.5%-105.8% with the RSDs of 1.3%-3.3%,while the extraction recoveries were 87.2%-96.3% with the RSDs of 3.2%-5.9%.The pharmacokinetic behaviors of three constituents all accorded with two-compartment model,but their contents in plasma were much lower than those in medicinal material.CONCLUSION The bioavailabilities of stilbene glucoside,emodin and physcion are relatively low in plasma of atherosclerosis rats,which may be related to constituents' intestinal absorption after intragastric administration with Polygoni multiflori Radix Praeparata.
7.Parkinson's Disease with Fatigue: Clinical Characteristics and Potential Mechanisms Relevant to α-Synuclein Oligomer.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The aim of this study was to identify the clinical characteristics and potential mechanisms relevant to pathological proteins in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients who experience fatigue. METHODS: PD patients (n=102) were evaluated using a fatigue severity scale and scales for motor and nonmotor symptoms. The levels of three pathological proteins-α-synuclein oligomer, β-amyloid (Aβ)(1-42), and tau-were measured in 102 cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples from these PD patients. Linear regression analyses were performed between fatigue score and the CSF levels of the above-listed pathological proteins in PD patients. RESULTS: The frequency of fatigue in the PD patients was 62.75%. The fatigue group had worse motor symptoms and anxiety, depression, and autonomic dysfunction. The CSF level of α-synuclein oligomer was higher and that of Aβ1-42 was lower in the fatigue group than in the non-fatigue group. In multiple linear regression analyses, fatigue severity was significantly and positively correlated with the α-synuclein oligomer level in the CSF of PD patients, after adjusting for confounders. CONCLUSIONS: PD patients experience a high frequency of fatigue. PD patients with fatigue have worse motor and part nonmotor symptoms. Fatigue in PD patients is associated with an increased α-synuclein oligomer level in the CSF.

8.Effect of nursing intervention for the patients awaiting the PCI surgery on patients' stress response and outcomes

Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention for the patients awaiting the PCI surgery on the patients' stress response and outcomes.Methods One hundred and six patients who underwent the PCI surgery and met the inclusion criteria between November 2010 and September 2011 were recruited and randomly divided into control group and experiment group,with 53 patients in each group.The patients in the control group received routine preoperative examinations.In addition,the patients in the experiment group received a unified and standardized massage care provided by the therapists.Shoulders and back were the areas massaged.Pulse rate,systolic and diastolic blood pressure were compared as a physiological stress,the pain,anxiety and VAS scores were compared between two groups.Results Before the intervention,there was no significant differences in the scores of the physiological and psychological stress ( P > 0.05 ).After the intervention,the scores of the diastolic blood pressure(77.82 ± 12.23)mm Hg,heart rate(70.55 ±4.88)times/min,heart rate of going into surgery room(76.41 ± 11.(06) times/min,S-AI(35.71 ±9.55),T-AI (37.08 ±9.45),VAS(1.94±1.03) of the experiment group were lower than those of the control group(88.13 ± 11.06)mm Hg,(74.75 ± 5.98 ),( 84.96 ± 19.53 ) times/min,( 44.84 ± 7.41 ),( 42.31 ± 8.52 ),( 3.87 ± 1.55 ),and the differences were statistically significant( P <0.05 ).There were no significant differences in the systolic blood pressure between the experiment group( 128.74 ± 14.64 ) mm Hg and control group ( 124.45 ± 17.32 ) mm Hg (t =1.377,P >0.05 ).Conclusions The preoperative massage nursing intervention and support can effectively improve the anxiety,intense and pain of the patients during surgery and improve postoperative outcomes to some extent,promote the utility of massage care and increase patients' confidence and courage to face the PCI surgery.
9.Hyperplasia suppressor gene expression in vascular smooth muscle cells derived from normotensive and hypertensive patients underwent bypass surgery.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the novel hyperplasia suppressor gene (HSG) expression in vascular smooth muscle cells derived from normotensive and hypertensive patients underwent bypass surgery.
METHODSCoronary heart disease patients underwent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) operation in BEIJING ANZHEN hospital from 4 - 9, 2006 were enrolled in this study and divided into hypertensive group (n = 28) and normotensive group (n = 26). The preoperative venous blood samples were taken for serum biochemical and vasoactive peptides measurements. Total RNA was extracted from WBC, explanted-vessels and cultured VSMCs using TRIZOL and HSG expression was determined by Semi-Quantitative RT-PCR.
RESULTSBody mass index (BMI) was significantly higher in hypertensive group compared to normotensive group (P < 0.01) while other biochemic parameters and vasoactive peptides were similar between the groups. BMI and GLU, BMI and SBP, BMI and DBP, GLU and TG, SBP and DBP were positively correlated (all P < 0.05). HSG expression in WBC, VSMCs and vessel tissue were significantly lower in hypertensive group than those in normotensive group (all P < 0.05). HSG expression in tissue was negatively correlated to BMI, SBP and DBP (all P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSReduced HSG expression and the negative correlation on vascular tissue HSG expression to BMI, SBP and DBP suggested a possible inhibitory role of HSG on VSMC proliferation and blood pressure.

10.Correlation between DNA load of human papillomavirus and recurrence of condyloma acuminata.

OBJECTIVETo determine the correlation between DNA load of human papillomavirus (HPV) and recurrence of condyloma acuminata (CA).
METHODSThe HPV6/11 and HPV16/18 DNA load of 31 cases of primary CA and 32 cases of recurrent CA were detected by real-time fluorogenic quantitative PCR.
RESULTSAmong the 63 CA patients, 62 cases were HPV6/11 DNA positive. The positive rate was 98.4%. The ranges of HPV6/11 DNA load in primary and recurrent CA were 1.4x10(3)-6.7x10(7) copies/ml and 1.2x10(4)-3.6x10(8) copies/ml respectively. Of 62 cases with HPV6/11 DNA positive, 7 cases were HPV16/18 DNA positive (11.3%). The ranges of HPV16/18 DNA load in primary and recurrent CA were 1.9x10(3)-1.6x10(4) copies/ml and 1.4x10(5)-1.7x10(7) copies/ml respectively. The HPV6/11 and HPV16/18 DNA load in recurrent CA were higher than in primary CA (P < 0.05). The DNA load of HPV6/11 was positively correlated with times of recurrence and course of disease (r=0.37 and 0.30 respectively).
CONCLUSIONCertain correlation exists between DNA load of HPV and recurrence of CA.
