Objective:
To explore the influence of group psychological counseling on the mental health of children with mother s authoritarian parenting.
Methods:
From November 2022 to February 2023, 76 students from grades 4 to 6 whose mother showed authoritarian parenting style, while fathers adopted no authoritative, authoritarian or democratic parenting style and who scored ≥65 on the total MHT were selected using the Parenting Style Questionnaire (PBI) and the Mental Health Diagnostic Test (MHT). All the participants and their mothers were randomly assigned to the intervention and control groups. Before and after the intervention, participants filled out questionnaires on parental bonding instrument and mental health test. Control group: regular delivery of mental health education information, 2 times per week, for 8 weeks, without any other intervention. Intervention group: group counseling activities were conducted once a week. Each intervention lasted 1.5-2 hours and lasts for 8 weeks. Before and after the intervention, participants filled in the family parenting style and mental health screening questionnaires.
Results:
After the intervention, compared with the control group, students in the intervention group showed a significant decrease in the total scale score of the MHT, learning anxiety, social anxiety, allergic tendency, physical symptoms, fear tendency, and impulsive tendency ( t=-0.43, -1.04 , -0.81, P >0.05). After intervention, the intervention group students showed a significant decrease in psychological diagnosis test scores, learning anxiety, anxiety towards others, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, phobic tendencies, and impulsive tendencies compared to the control group students ( t=-20.00, -5.06, -2.09, -3.36, -6.15, -4.76, -5.15, P <0.05).
Conclusion
Rregular group psychological counseling can effectively improve the academic anxiety, social anxiety, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, fearful and impulsive tendencies of students whose mothers with authoritarian parenting style, and greatly improve their mental health.

Objective:To investigate the concern about pollen broadcasting in Chinese population from multiple dimensions and to understand the information about allergic rhinitis (AR) in China by analyzing related factors. Methods:From March 1 to September 30, 2022, a large-scale multi-center cross-sectional survey was conducted based on the Questionnaire Star platform in 21 Chinese hospitals. A total of 7 056 subjects from 7 regions in China: Northeast, North, East, Central, South, Southwest, and Northwest China were included. Basic characteristics (including social demographic characteristics and disease characteristics of AR patients), concern about pollen broadcasting, the willingness of pollen-induced AR (PiAR) patients to receive pollen broadcasting, and the treatment satisfaction rate of AR patients were collected. The chi-square test, multivariate linear regression model, and Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the concern about pollen broadcasting in the Chinese population and related factors from multiple dimensions. Results:Among 7 056 subjects, 23.02% were concerned about pollen broadcasting. Among 3 176 self-reported AR and 1 019 PiAR patients, 25.60% and 39.16% were concerned about pollen broadcasting, respectively, which was higher than that of non-AR or non-PiAR subjects ( χ2 value was 21.74 and 175.11, respectively, both P<0.001). Among AR patients, the proportion of spring and autumn allergen-positive patients concerned about pollen broadcasting was higher than that in perennial allergen-positive patients ( χ2 value was 20.90 and 19.51, respectively, both P<0.001). The proportion of AR patients with asthma, sinusitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases was higher than those without complications ( χ2 value was 50.83, 21.97, 56.78, 7.62, respectively, all P<0.05). The proportion of AR patients in North China who could find pollen broadcasting locally was 31.01%, significantly higher than those in other regions (all P<0.05). Multivariate linear regression model analysis showed that among PiAR patients, those with higher per capita household income and higher AR disease cognition levels had been concerned about pollen broadcasting in the past, and those complicated with allergic conjunctivitis had stronger intention to receive pollen broadcasting (B value was 0.24, 0.13, 0.66, 0.47, respectively, all P<0.05). The higher the disease cognition level of PiAR patients, the stronger their willingness to actively participate in treatment ( R2=0.72, P<0.001). Only 18.89% of AR patients felt satisfied with the treatment effect. Logistic regression analysis showed that in AR patients, the treatment satisfaction rate was significantly higher among those concerned about pollen broadcasting compared to those who were not ( OR=1.83, P<0.001). Conclusions:Currently, the dissemination of pollen broadcasting in China is hindered by various factors such as disease cognition level. The treatment satisfaction among AR patients remains unsatisfactory.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2023;48(12):1914-1919
Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy(HOCM)is a hereditary cardiac disorder characterized primarily by septal hypertrophy and left ventricular outflow tract obstruction.Traditional therapeutic modalities, such as medications and surgeries,do not yield satisfactory outcomes in a subset of patients. The advancements have been made in novel treatments, including new drugs and percutaneous intramyocardial septal radiofrequency ablation(PIMSRA),still need further observation to obtain long-term efficacy and safety. In recent years, stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)has emerged as an innovative non-invasive approach for treating HOCM.Studies indicate that SBRT allows for precise targeting of the hypertrophied septal region, causing both direct and indirect damage to targeted myocardial cells. This can alleviate left ventricular outflow tract obstruction and myocardial ischemia, fulfilling the therapeutic objective. For those with HOCM who neither respond well to medications nor are surgical candidates,SBRT offers a potential new therapeutic alternative. However, the latent risks of radiation therapy persist, such as the onset of radiation-induced heart disease(RIHD).The preliminary investigations guarantee the safety and feasibility of SBRT in HOCM management,an increased volume of clinical studies and prolonged follow-up data are essential to evaluate its real efficacy and potential hazards. In addition, research regarding the therapeutic mechanisms of SBRT for HOCM,optimal dosages and treatment durations, indications and contraindications, prevention of complications, and enhancing the precision of radiation therapy, still needs to be further exploration,to determine the best therapeutic strategies.

Objective:To explore the short-term efficacy of small dose omalizumab in refractory sinusitis with eosinophilia after extended sinus surgery. Methods:A total of 24 patients who met the diagnostic criteria for eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis and remained poorly controlled after multiple surgical treatments were included in this study. These patients were admitted to Hunan People′s Hospital between January 2020 and June 2022, and comprised 13 males and 11 females with an average age of (46.43±13.74) years. The patients were randomly divided into experimental group (12 cases) and control group (12 cases), both of which underwent extended sinus opening surgery. The experimental group received a small dose of omalizumab (150 mg/month) for 4 months, while no omalizumab was applied in the control group. All patients were followed up monthly, subjective and objective symptom scores were collected and compared between groups, which included visual analogue scale (VAS) score, sino-nasal outcome test (SNOT)-22 score, Lund-Mackay score, and Lund-Kennedy score. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0 software. Results:The baseline was set at 1 month after surgery. There was no significant difference in baseline clinical characteristics between the two groups. After 4 months of treatment with omalizumab, the experimental group showed significant improvements in VAS scores for nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, hyposmia, SNOT‐22 score, and Lund-Kennedy score (3.11±1.05 vs 6.44±1.13, 2.00±0.87 vs 6.55±1.33, 2.22±0.67 vs 7.00±1.22, 4.44±0.88 vs 15.22±1.20, 1.67±1.00 vs 7.44±0.88, respectively, all P<0.001). Compared to the control group at 4 months after baseline, the experimental group had significantly lower scores for nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, hyposmia, SNOT-22, and Lund-Kennedy (3.11±1.05 vs 7.11±1.17, 2.00±0.87 vs 7.67±1.41, 2.22±0.67 vs 7.56±0.88, 4.44±0.88 vs 15.33±2.34, 1.67±1.00 vs 9.00±1.41, respectively, all P<0.001). During a 2-month follow-up period after drug withdrawal, the VAS, SNOT-22, and Lund-Kennedy scores of the experimental group were slightly higher than those before drug withdrawal but showed no significant difference (3.44±1.33 vs 3.11±1.05, 2.22±1.09 vs 2.00±0.86, 2.55±0.88 vs 2.22±0.66, 4.77±0.97 vs 4.44±0.88, 2.11±1.05 vs 1.67±1.00, respectively, all P>0.05). Conclusion:For patients of refractory sinusitis with eosinophilia, a combination of extended sinus surgery and postoperative small dosage of omalizumab can effectively control mucous inflammation, promote mucosal epithelization, and play an important role in the critical early stage of disease recovery.

Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine 2022;39(6):679-683
Background Research on the relationship between ambient temperature and preterm birth has received increasing attention, but the conclusions of the previous literature are inconsistent. Objective To explore the impact of environmental temperature exposure in Ningbo on premature delivery of pregnant women. Methods The birth information, preterm birth data, and age of pregnant women from January 2016 to September 2020 were collected by the electronic medical record system of Ningbo Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Meteorological data for the same period were obtained through Ningbo Meteorological Bureau, including daily average temperature, daily average relative humidity, and daily average air pressure. Daily concentrations of SO2, NO2, and PM10 were derived through the air quality real-time release system on the website of Ningbo Environmental Protection Bureau. A distributed lag nonlinear model was used to analyze the impact of environmental temperature on preterm birth by stratifying pregnant women’s age and birth delivery mode. Results The incidence rate of preterm birth in Ningbo from 2016 to 2020 was 5.91%. The exposure-response curve between environmental temperature and preterm birth presented a “U” shape. Taking 22.5 ℃ as a reference, the cumulative effect of 31 ℃ (the 95th percentile) and 32 ℃ (the 99th percentile) over a 21-day lag on preterm delivery was statistically significant, and the related RR (95%CI) values were 1.67 (1.05-2.65) and 1.85 (1.09-3.14) respectively. The results of stratified analysis showed that among pregnant women ≥30 years old, the 21-day cumulative effects of 31 ℃ and 32 ℃ on preterm delivery were statistically significant, and the related RR (95%CI) values were 2.09 (1.08-4.05) and 2.36 (1.11-5.03) respectively; among pregnant women with natural delivery, the 21-day cumulative effect of 32 ℃ on preterm delivery was statistically significant, and the RR (95%CI) was 1.95 (1.02-3.74). Conclusion Exposure of pregnant women to high temperature during pregnancy could increase the risk of preterm birth, and there is a delayed cumulative effect.

International Journal of Stem Cells 2021;14(1):85-93
Background and Objectives:
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease, which the mechanisms behind its initiation and development are related to many factors. DMSCs (dermal mesenchymal stem cells) represent an important member of the skin microenvironment and play an important role in the surrounding environment and in neighbouring cells, but they are also affected by the microenvironment. We studied the glucose metabolism of DMSCs in psoriasis patients and a control group to reveal the relationship among glucose metabolism, cell proliferation activity, and VEC (vascular endothelial cell) differentiation in vitro, we demonstrated the biological activity and molecular mechanisms of DMSCs in psoriasis.
Methods:
and Results: We found that the OCR of DMSCs in psoriatic lesions was higher than that in the control group, and mRNA of GLUT1 and HK2 were up-regulated compared with the control group. The proliferative activity of DMSCs in psoriasis was reduced at an early stage, and mRNA involved in proliferation, JUNB and FOS were expressed at lower levels than those in the control group. The number of blood vessels in psoriatic lesions was significantly higher than that in the control group (p<0.05), which the mRNA of VEC differentiation, CXCL12, CXCR7, HEYL and RGS5 tended to be increased in psoriatic lesions compared to the control group, in addition to Notch3.
Conclusions
We speculated that DMSCs affected local psoriatic blood vessels through glucose metabolism, and the differentiation of VECs, which resulted in the pathophysiological process of psoriasis.
