BACKGROUND:In recent years, the development of liver organoids has made it a hot spot in the field of international liver disease research, but there is still no article on the bibliometric analysis of liver organoids. OBJECTIVE:To explore the hot trends in liver organoids in the last 20 years based on bibliometrics and visualization analysis. METHODS:We searched the articles about liver organoids in the Web of Science Core Collection from January 1,2002 to November 12,2022.Origin,Office,and CiteSpace software were used for bibliometrics and visualization analysis. We statistically analyzed the number of annually published articles, countries, institutions, authors, journals, and keywords of the articles by generating charts. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The number of articles, citation frequency, institutions and personnel involved in the research about liver organoids showed an overall upward trend in the last 20 years, indicating that the field was growing rapidly and attention was increasing. The USA had published the most papers and had the strongest influence in this field.Although it had invested a lot of time and energy, the number of papers published by a single research institution in the USA was not the highest among many research institutions.China was second only to the USA in the number of publications, with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Fudan University leading the list.Utrecht University in the Netherlands was the institution with the most publications.Clevers H was the author with the highest number of articles. The article with the highest co-citation frequency was"Long-term culture of genome-stable bipotent stem cells from adult human liver".The main fields of study for liver organoids were Molecular Science,Biology, and Immunology. The most frequently occurring keywords were stem cell,in vitro, and culture. The research hotspots in the liver organoids field were mainly focused on in vitro stem cell three-dimensional culture, differentiation and gene expression.

Background The current oil production determines oil workers’ occupational noise exposure. Without effective protection, noise will affect various aspects of worker’s body functions, including acting on the adrenal cortex system and resulting in renal function damage. Objective To evaluate the associations of noise exposure and its cumulative exposure level with renal function impairment of oil workers. Methods Oil workers from a collective medical examination in a hospital were selected as the study subjects. In accordance with the national standard Measurement of Physical Agents in the Workplace Part 8: Noise (GBZ/T 189.8—2007), noise exposure was measured three times at the oil workers' work site, and their average value was calculated to obtain the cumulative noise exposure (CNE). A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect general information such as socio-demographic characteristics, family history, lifestyles, and occupational history. All blood biochemical indicators were measured in the fasting state. Renal function impairment was judged based on the glomerular filtration rate. The relationship between CNE and renal function was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) for workers with noise exposure. Results A total of 2 917 subjects were included in the study and their prevalence of renal function impairment was 14.2%. The univariate analysis results suggested statistically significant differences in the prevalence of renal function impairment among the oil workers grouped by having hypertension or not, gender, age, marital status, marital status, smoking, and alcohol consumption (P<0.05); the prevalence of renal impairment was significantly higher in those with abnormal values of uric acid, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, and fasting glucose than in those with normal values (P<0.05); the oil workers with noise exposure [n=1565, 53.7%, equivalent sound level ≥80 dB(A)] showed a higher prevalence of renal function impairment than those without (P<0.05). The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that being female (OR=2.811, 95%CI: 1.960-4.030), age at 31 years and above (OR31-40=3.502, 95%CI: 1.402-8.751; OR41-50=4.255, 95%CI: 1.759-10.291; OR≥51=7.179, 95%CI: 2.864-17.996), showing abnormal uric acid (OR=5.932, 95%CI: 4.486-7.843), having hypertension (OR=1.593, 95%CI: 1.230-2.063), alcohol consumption (OR=2.648, 95%CI: 1.346-5.212), and smoking (OR=1.816, 95%CI: 1.133-2.911) had higher risks of developing renal function impairment; besides, those exposed to noise had 1.351 times (95%CI: 1.073-1.702) higher risks of developing renal function impairment than non-exposed individuals. Noise-exposed oil workers in the renal impairment group had higher noise exposure intensity and CNE compared to the noise-exposed oil workers in the normal renal function group (P<0.05), and the workers had an increased risk of renal function impairment when the CNE was >95.85 dB(A)·year versus CNE ≤ 95.85 dB(A)·year (OR=2.583, 95%CI: 1.956-3.411). Conclusion Exposure to noise, higher noise exposure intensity, and higher level of CNE may be associated with developing renal function impairment in oil workers. Oil workers with CNE above 95.85 dB(A)·year are at an increased risk of renal impairment.

The average age was 67.9 (40-87) years old, and the average body mass index was 24.56 (15.12-35.94) kg/m 2. The average PSA was 41.07 ng/ml, including 48 cases<10 ng/ml, 98 cases 10-20 ng/ml, and 412 cases>20 ng/ml. There were 123, 214, 118, 89, and 14 cases with biopsy Gleason 6-10 score, respectively. The clinical stage : 90 cases in ≤T 2b, 273 cases in T 2c, and 195 cases in ≥T 3 . 558 cases underwent radical prostatectomy, including 528 robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery, 25 laparoscopic surgery, and 5 open-surgery. The risk factors for postoperative biochemical recurrence were analyzed by Cox regression. Results:A total of 63 patients had postoperative pathological stage pT 2a, 32 patients had pT 2b, 241 patients had pT 2c, and 222 patients had ≥pT 3. A total of 210 cases developed biochemical recurrence after surgery, and the mean time to biochemical recurrence was 33.3 (3-127) months after the radical prostatectomy. The biochemical recurrence rates at 1, 3, and 5 years were 9.7% (54/558), 21.5% (120/558), and 31.7% (177/558), respectively. Among pT 2a and pT 2b patients, 7 (11.1%) and 4 (12.5%) cases developed biochemical recurrence, respectively. Among pT 2c stage patients, 145 (60.17%) cases had positive cut margins, treated with androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) after surgery. 68 (28.21%) cases of pT 2c stage patients had biochemical recurrence at mean 36.1 (3-106)months after the radical prostatectomy. Among ≥pT 3 patients, 147 patients with positive margins, perineural invasion, seminal vesicle invasion and positive pelvic lymph nodes were treated with postoperative androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) + radiotherapy. 98 of 147 patients (66.67%) had biochemical recurrence, and the average time to biochemical recurrence was 30.6 (24-98) months.75 patients of ≥pT 3 without positive margins, perineural invasion, seminal vesicle invasion or positive pelvic lymph nodes, were treated with postoperative ADT. 33 of them (44%) had biochemical recurrence, and the average time to biochemical recurrence was 32.5 (21-106) months. 5-and 10-year survival rates of 210 patients with biochemical recurrence were 89.05% (187/210) and 78.09% (164/210) respectively, 5- and 10-year tumor-specific survival rates were 92.57% and 87.69%, respectively. 46 of 210 cases died, of which 31 (67.39%) died from prostate cancer, and 15 cases (32.61%) died from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Multifactorial Cox regression analysis showed that patient's age ≥70 years, initial PSA > 20ng/ml, ≥pT 3 and Gleason score ≥7 were independent risk factors for biochemical recurrence. Conclusions:After radical prostatectomy, patients were treated according to their pathological stage and surgical margins. Patients with positive margins have a higher risk of biochemical recurrence. The independent risk factors for biochemical recurrence included age ≥70 years, initial PSA > 20ng/ml, ≥pT 3 and Gleason score ≥7.

Objective:To investigate whether coxsackievirus A 16 (CVA16) infection would affect the expression of N6-methyladenosine (m 6A) methylation-related proteins in human bronchial epithelial cells (16HBE), ICR suckling mice and SCRBA2 humanized mice and influence their subcellular localization. Methods:CVA16 was used to infect 16HBE cells at a multiplicity of infection (MOI) of 0.1 and mice at 10 7 CCID 50/ml. Changes in the expression of methyltransferases, demethylases and methylated reading proteins were analyzed by Western blot. Cellular localization of these proteins was observed using immunofluorescence. Results:The expression of m 6A methylation-related proteins was gradually reduced in CVA16-infected cells with time, but showed no obvious change in ICR suckling mice or SCRBA2 humanized mice. After infection, m 6A methylation-related proteins were redistributed in both the nucleus and cytoplasm and even degraded. Conclusions:CVA16 replication in host cells altered the expression and cellular localization of m 6A methylation-related proteins, which indicated that m 6A modification might be a new potential target for enterovirus therapy.
