Objective To propose a motion performance-based adaptive assistance strategy to balance the differences in movement intensity caused by varying motor abilities in dual-person upper limb rehabilitation training. Methods A competitive interactive task suitable for dual-person rehabilitation training was designed. Two kinematic evaluation metrics were introduced, and fuzzy logic was applied to comprehensively assess the patients'motor performance. An adaptive control system framework was constructed to dynamically adjust the robot's assistance level through a difference-based adaptive step-size piecewise function.Four healthy persons were recruited ran-domly to test the system. Results The proposed strategy could adaptively adjust the level of assistance based on the participants'motor perfor-mance,balancing the differences in motor abilities between them and enabling both parties to engage at a similar competitive level. Conclusion The motion performance-based adaptive assistance strategy and adaptive control system framework may bal-ance the skill levels between participants with different motor abilities, avoiding the imbalance of training intensi-ty during dual-person interactive rehabilitation.

Preterm birth is the most common maternal complication in twin pregnancies. In recent years, cervical cerclage has been of long-standing interest in the prevention of preterm birth in twin pregnancies. However, its clinical application in the treatment of cervical insufficiency of twin pregnancies remains a controversial subject. In addition, infection or inflammation conditions are considered to be closely related to the perinatal outcomes of twin pregnancies after cervical cerclage. This paper reviews the research progress on cervical cerclage in twin pregnancies, recommending cervical cerclage for twin pregnancies with cervical length≤15 mm or cervical dilatation, while it is not suggested for those with cervical length of 15-25 mm or history-indicated cervical cerclage. The clinical significance of preoperative evaluation of intraamniotic infection or inflammation of twin pregnancies needs to be further explored, but it is necessary to avoid the effect of antibiotic use on the evaluation of surgical effects.

Objective:To explore the current situation of motoric cognitive risk syndrome (MCR) in the community elderly in Taiyuan and analyze its influencing factors. Methods:From January to April 2021, convenience sampling was used to select 500 elderly people from 5 communities in Taiyuan as the research object. The elderly were investigated with the General Information Questionnaire, Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) , simplified Geriatric Depression Scale-15 (GDS-15) , Short-Form Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA-SF) and Lubben Social Network Scale-6 (Lubben-6) , and 4-meter walk test. Results:A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed, and 492 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a valid recovery rate of 98.40%. The prevalence of MCR among 492 community elderly people in Taiyuan was 11.38% (56/492) . Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the incidence of MCR among the community elderly in Taiyuan with different age, education level, obesity, living alone, number of diseases, diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, number of medications, chronic pain, nutritional status, depression and social isolation ( P<0.05) . Logistic regression analysis showed that educational level, obesity, diabetes, chronic pain, nutritional status, depression, and social isolation were the influencing factors of MCR in the elderly in Taiyuan ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The incidence of MCR among the elderly in Taiyuan is high. Individualized interventions should be formulated according to the influencing factors to prevent or delay the occurrence of MCR in the community elderly.

Objective:To investigate the value of positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis for early cervical cancer. Methods:Retrospectively analyze the preoperative PET/CT examination results and postoperative pathological results of patients with early cervical cancer who underwent surgical treatment from May 5, 2019 to August 31, 2020, and analyze the clinical characteristics, so as to explore the high risk factors of PET/CT in the diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis. Results:The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity and area under the curve (AUC) of PET/CT in the diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis were 75.2%, 60.0%, 81.3% and 0.707, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that 2009 International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage, tumor diameter >4 cm, lymphovascular space involvement (LVSI) positive, depth of invasion, high squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC-Ag) level and cytological grade were important factors for PET/CT in the diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis ( P<0.05); Multivariate analysis showed that tumor diameter >4 cm was an independent risk factor for PET/CT diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis ( P=0.015). Conclusions:PET/CT has a certain diagnostic value in the evaluation of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis, but it can not fully reflect the facticity of lymph node metastasis; tumor diameter > 4cm is an independent risk factor for PET/CT in the diagnosis of retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the effects of the single and mixed decoction of Thallus laminariae (kelp) and Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) on the metabolism and their difference. The mixed decoction of kelp and licorice and the single decoction were made and intragastrically administered to the SD rats. The effect on system metabolism, the toxicity of liver and kidney were assessed by GC-MS profiling of the endogenous molecules in serum, routine biochemical assays and histographic inspection of tissues from SD rats, separately. The mixed decoction of kelp and licorice induced more obvious pathological abnormalities in SD rats than a single decoction of kelp, while the extracts of licorice did not show any pathological change. Neither the mixed, nor the single decoction showed abnormal histopathology. After intragastric administration of extracts for 5 days, the mixed decoction induced a decrease of ALT (no significant change in the groups of single decoction) and an increase of BUN (so did the single decoction of kelp). Metabolomic profile of the molecules in serum revealed that the metabolic patterns were all obviously affected for the three groups, i.e., the mixed and single decoction of kelp and licorice. The rats given with the single decoction of kelp showed a similar pattern to that of the mixed decoction, indicating that the kelp primarily contributed the perturbation of metabolism for the mixed decoction. All three groups induced a decrease of branched chain amino acids, TCA cycle intermediates and glycolysis intermediates (e.g., pyruvic acid and lactic acid) and an increase of 3-hydroxybutyric acid. Kelp decoction showed stronger potential in reducing TCA cycle intermediates and glycolysis intermediates than the other two groups, while the levels of branched chain amino acids were the lowest after licorice extracts were given. These results suggested that the effect of the mixed decoction on metabolism was closely associated with both kelp and licorice. The continuous administration of single decoction of kelp and the mixed decoction of licorice and kelp resulted in pathological abnormalities in kidney of SD rats. The mixed decoction of kelp and licorice distinctly perturbed sera molecules and hence system metabolism, which showed associated with those of kelp and licorice. Although the metabolic effect was associated with both kelp and licorice, the results suggested kelp contributed to it primarily.
