Early accurate detection of inferior myocardial infarction is an important way to reduce the mortality from inferior myocardial infarction. Regrading the existing problems in the detection of inferior myocardial infarction, complex model structures and redundant features, this paper proposed a novel inferior myocardial infarction detection algorithm. Firstly, based on the clinic pathological information, the peak and area features of QRS and ST-T wavebands as well as the slope feature of ST waveband were extracted from electrocardiogram (ECG) signals leads Ⅱ, Ⅲ and aVF. In addition, according to individual features and the dispersion between them, we applied genetic algorithm to make judgement and then input the feature with larger degree into support vector machine (SVM) to realize the accurate detection of inferior myocardial infarction. The proposed method in this paper was verified by Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) diagnostic electrocardio signal database and the accuracy rate was up to 98.33%. Conforming to the clinical diagnosis and the characteristics of specific changes in inferior myocardial infarction ECG signal, the proposed method can effectively make precise detection of inferior myocardial infarction by morphological features, and therefore is suitable to be applied in portable devices development for clinical promotion.

Objective:To summarize the perioperative nursing points of percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) in elderly patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures assisted by robots, so as to provide reference for orthopedic nursing. Methods:From July 2019 to February 2021, the data of 72 patients undergoing robot-assisted PKP in the spinal surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were retrospectively analyzed. The perioperative nursing points were summarized, and the nursing experience was summarized. The nursing under the new measures of precise minimally invasive treatment was analyzed and discussed. The length of hospital stay, postoperative ambulation time, complications and satisfaction survey results of patients were collected and recorded. The Numerical Rating Scale(NRS) score, Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) score and Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) score before and after surgery were compared. The correlation analysis of the scores of various factors was combined to comprehensively evaluate the surgical and nursing effects. Results:All patients had no complications related to machine use during and after operation, and their symptoms were improved to varying degrees. Fifty-seven cases of indwelling catheter, catheter time (19.00±14.24) h. The preoperative hospitalization time was (6.16±2.22) d, and the postoperative hospitalization time was (1.94±0.99) d. Postoperative bed time was (16.34±6.81) h. Postoperative nursing satisfaction was (98.55±2.44)%.The postoperative NRS and SAS scores were (1.00±0.55) and (32.06±5.33) points, respectively, which were lower than those before operation (3.51 ± 0.71) and (39.08±8.86) points, and the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 33.976, 8.184, P<0.01). There were statistically significant differences in six indicators of ODI scores before and after surgery, including low back pain, walking, standing, sitting, sleep and self-care ( P<0.01). Correlation analysis showed that there was a strong correlation between the six ODI score factors and the NRS score. The four factors of sitting, walking, low back pain and standing were highly correlated with SAS. Conclusions:The implementation of good perioperative nursing management for patients with PKP assisted by robot can effectively promote the rehabilitation of patients, reduce the incidence of complications and improve patient satisfaction.

Due to the special geographical location and the complex ecosystem types, plateau wetlands play important ecological roles in water supply, greenhouse gas regulation and biodiversity preservation. Napahai plateau wetland is a special wetland type with low latitude and high altitude, and its microbial diversity was rarely studied. The diversity of microbial communities in the Napahai plateau wetland was analyzed using metagenomics method. Among the microbes detected, 184 phyla, 3 262 genera and 24 260 species belong to the bacterial domain, 13 phyla and 32 genera belong to the archaeal domain, and 13 phyla and 47 genera belong to the fungal domain. Significant differences in species diversity between soil and water were observed. Acidobacteria, Proteobacteria and Actinobacteria were dominant phyla in soil, while Proteobacteria and Bacteroides were dominant phyla in water. Since the carbon and nitrogen metabolism genes were abundant, the pathways of carbon fixation and nitrogen metabolism were analyzed. Calvin cycle, reductive tricarboxylic acid cycle and 3-hydroxypropionic acid cycle were the main carbon fixation pathways, while Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, and Crenarchaeota were the main carbon-fixing bacteria group. As for the nitrogen cycle, nitrogen fixation and dissimilatory nitrate reduction were dominant in water, while nitrification and denitrification were dominant in soil. Proteobacteria, Nitrospirae, Verrucomicrobia, Actinobacteria, Thaumarchaeota and Euryarchaeota contributed to the nitrogen cycle. The study on microbial diversity of Napahai plateau wetlands provides new knowledge for the comprehensive management and protection of wetland environment in China.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2020;37(3):434-441
Lung nodules are the main manifestation of early lung cancer. So accurate detection of lung nodules is of great significance for early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. However, the rapid and accurate detection of pulmonary nodules is a challenging task due to the complex background, large detection range of pulmonary computed tomography (CT) images and the different sizes and shapes of pulmonary nodules. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-scale feature fusion algorithm for the automatic detection of pulmonary nodules to achieve accurate detection of pulmonary nodules. Firstly, a three-layer modular lung nodule detection model was designed on the deep convolutional network (VGG16) for large-scale image recognition. The first-tier module of the network is used to extract the features of pulmonary nodules in CT images and roughly estimate the location of pulmonary nodules. Then the second-tier module of the network is used to fuse multi-scale image features to further enhance the details of pulmonary nodules. The third-tier module of the network was fused to analyze the features of the first-tier and the second-tier module of the network, and the candidate box of pulmonary nodules in multi-scale was obtained. Finally, the candidate box of pulmonary nodules under multi-scale was analyzed with the method of non-maximum suppression, and the final location of pulmonary nodules was obtained. The algorithm is validated by the data of pulmonary nodules on LIDC-IDRI common data set. The average detection accuracy is 90.9%.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to investigate the effects of PIK3CA on the sensitivity of acute B lymphocytic leukemia cells (Nalm-6 cells) to chemotherapy drugs. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Children's normal B lymphocytes and Nalm-6 cells were cultured. Nalm-6 cells were transfected with PIK3CA siRNA (siPIK3CA group) or its negative control (PIK3CA-Control group). Normal Nalm-6 cells were named Mock group. Nalm-6 cells transfected by PIK3CA siRNA were treated with Akt inhibitor (siPIK3CA+Akti-1/2 group). mRNA and protein expression was detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot. Proliferation and sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs was detected by MTT assay. Cell cycle and apoptosis was explored by low cytometry. Transwell assay was performed to test invasion. RESULTS: PIK3CA mRNA (p=0.008) and protein (p=0.006) expression was higher in Nalm-6 cells than that in normal B lymphocytes. Compared with the Mock group and PIK3CA-Control group, Nalm-6 cells of the siPIK3CA group had lower OD495 values (all p < 0.05) and invasion cell numbers (p=0.03 and p=0.025), as well as a higher proportion of G0/G1 phase cells (p=0.020 and p=0.022), percentage of apoptosis (p=0.016 and p=0.022), and inhibition rate (all p < 0.05). pAkt expression in the siPIK3CA group (p=0.026 and p=0.031) and siPIK3CA+Akti-1/2 group (p=0.019 and p=0.023) was lower than that in the Mock group. CONCLUSION: PIK3CA silencing inhibited Nalm-6 cell proliferation and invasion, and promoted their apoptosis and sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs, potentially through regulation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) gene expression and protein levels in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with severe or profound sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) and to explore the roles of GRs and HDAC2 in glucocorticoid (GC) insensitivity. METHODS: Fifty-five severe or profound SSNHL patients were enrolled in the study. According to hearing improvement after GC treatment, patients were assigned into two groups: GC-sensitive and GC-resistant. A normal reference group included 20 healthy volunteers without hearing loss. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot analyses were used to detect the relative expression of GRα, GRβ, and HDAC2 in PBMCs at the mRNA and protein levels. RESULTS: The protein levels of GRs and HDAC2 in PBMCs of SSNHL patients were lower than the normal reference values before GC treatment. Compared with the GC-resistant group, both the mRNA and protein levels of GRα and HDAC2 were significantly increased in the GC-sensitive group after GC treatment. CONCLUSION: A lack of GRα and HDAC2 induction following steroid treatment in GC-resistant SSNHL patients may play a fundamental mechanistic role in GC insensitivity. Response of GRα and HDAC2 to steroid treatment may, thus, predict the prognosis of hearing improvement in SSNHL patients.

Objective To establish a reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatograph ( RP-HPLC ) method for determination of equilibrium solubility and oil/water partition coeficient of phloridzin in different solvents. Methods A RP-HPLC method was established to detect the concentration of phloridzin in water and different organic solvents. The partition coefficients in the n-octanol-water/buffer solution systems of phloridzin were determined by shaking flask method. The Inertsil ODS-3 (4.6 mm×150 mm, 5μm) column was used and the detection wavelength was 284 nm.The flow rate was 1.0 mL??min-1, and acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid(30??70)was used as mobile phase. Results The equilibrium solubility of phloridzin was 2.07 mg??mL-1 in water and 838.63 mg??mL-1 in methanol at 25 ℃.A good linear relationship of phloridzin was obtained within the range of 0.054 9-1.098 0 μg.The regression equation was Y=2 152.9X+7.26 (r=0.999 9).The solubility values of phloridzin were higher in ethanol and propylene glycol than in other solvents. Conclusion RP-HPLC method is simple, quick and accurate for the determination of phloridzin.Phloridzin was almost insoluble in petroleum ether and poorly soluble in water. The equilibrium solubility is higher in methanol than in other solvents. The apparent distribution coefficient of phloridzin varies significantly with pH under the alkaline conditions but less in the acidic solution.
