1.Clinical outcomes and bone resection analysis of unilateral double-channel endoscopic technique in treating lumbar disc herniation

		                        			Objective To explore clinical outcomes and bone resection of interlaminar fenestration decompression and u-nilateral biportal endoscopic(UBE)technique in treating lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods A retrospective study was performed on 105 patients with single-level LDH treated from December 2019 to December 2021.Fifty-four patients in UBE group,including 32 males and 22 females,aged from 18 to 50 years old with an average of(38.7±9.3)years old,were treated with UBE,29 patients withL4.5and 25 patients with L5S1.There were 51 patients in small fenestration group,including 27 males and 24 females,aged from 18 to 50 years old with an average of(39.9±10.0)years old,were treated with small fenestra-tion,25 patients with L4.5 and 26 patients with L5S1.Perioperative indexes,such as operation time,postoperative time of getting out of bed and hospital stay were observed and compared between two groups.Visual analogue scale(VAS)and Oswestry dis-ability index(ODI)were compared between two groups before operation and 1,3,6 and 12 months after operation,respective-ly;and modified MacNab evaluation criteria was used to evaluate clinical efficacy.Amount of bone resection and retention rate of inferior articular process laminoid complex were compared between two groups.Results All 105 patients were successfully completed operation.Both of two groups were followed up from 6 to 12 months with an average of(10.69±2.49)months.Oper-ation time,postoperative time of getting out of bed and hospital stay were(58.20±5.54)min,(2.40±0.57)dand(3.80±0.61)d in UBE group,and(62.90±7.14)min,(4.40±0.64)d and(4.40±0.64)d in small fenestrum group,respectively;and had sta-tistically difference between two groups(P<0.05).Postoperative VAS of low back and leg pain and ODI in both groups were significantly lower than those before surgery(P<0.05).VAS of lumbar pain in UBE group(1.37±0.49)score was lower than that of small fenestration group(2.45±0.64)score,and had statistically difference(t=9.745,P<0.05).Postoperative ODI in UBE group at 1 and 3 months were(28.54±3.31)%and(22.87±3.23)%,respectively,which were lower than those in small fenestra group(36.31±9.08)%and(29.90±8.36)%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in VAS and ODI between two groups at other time points(P>0.05).According to the modified MacNab evaluation criteria at the latest follow-up,49 patients got excellent result,3 good,and 2 fair in UBE group.In small fenestration group,35 patients got excellent,12 good,and 4 fair.In UBE group,amount of bone resection on L4,5 segment was(0.45±0.08)cm3 and(0.31±0.08)cm3 on the segment of L5S1.In small fenestration group,amount of bone resection on L4.5 segment was(0.57±0.07)cm3 and(0.49±0.04)cm3 on the segment of L5S1,and amount of bone resection of lower articular process laminar complex on the same segment in UBE group was less than that in small fenestration group(P<0.05).In UBE group,retention rate of laminoid complex on L4,5 segment was(0.73±0.04)and L5S1 segment was(0.83±0.03),whileL4,5segment was(0.68± 0.06)and L5S1 segment was(0.74±0.04)in small fenestration group,the lower articular process laminar complex retention rate in UBE group was higher than that in small fenestration group(P<0.05).Conclusion Both unilateral double-channel endoscopy and small fenestration of laminae could achieve good clinical results in treating LDH,but UBE has advantages of less trauma,higher eficiency,faster postoperative recovery and less damage to bone structure.

3.Research on rapid detection technology of airborne pathogenic organisms based on up-conversion phosphor technology.

		                        			Objective: To explore the application of up-conversing phosphor technology (UPT) to detect pathogenic organisms in the air. Methods: The performance of UPT was verified with Staphylococcus aureus, Yersinia pestis and Escherichia coli O157 as simulated strains, including stability, specificity, sensitivity and response time tests; Air particle sampler is used to collect air samples in the field microenvironment test chamber, and UPT is used for detection. At the same time, compared with the traditional culture method, the practicability of UPT is verified. Results: The coefficient of variation in laboratory was 9.62% and 8.02% when the concentration of 107 CFU/ml and 108 CFU/ml were detected by UPT. The results were less than the allowable target, and the detection system had good stability. The specificity of UPT was verified by Staphylococcus aureus. The results showed that no non-Staphylococcus aureus was detected, and the positive detection rate of different kinds of Staphylococcus aureus was 100%. The specificity of the detection system was good. The sensitivity of UPT for detecting Staphylococcus aureus was 104 CFU/ml. Detection sensitivity of Yersinia pestis ≥103 CFU/ml; The detection sensitivity of Escherichia coli O157 is ≥103 CFU/ml, and the response time of UPT to bacteria is within 15 min (all 10 min 15 s). The detection results of bacteria contentration in the air of the on-site microenvironment test cabin by UPT showed that when the concentration of Escherichia coli O157 in the air reached above 104 CFU/m3, the detection results of UPT were positive, and with the increase of air concentration, the numerical concentration measured by UPT showed an upward trend, which was positively correlated with the concentration of bacteria in the air. 		                        			Objective To investigate the Gram-positive coccus resistance in nationwide's tertiary hospitals and understand the trend of antimicrobial resistance.Methods All the clinical isolates were collected from 19 hospitals and the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs)were tested using agar/broth dilution method recommended.Results A total of 1 974 pathogenic Gram-positive coccus from 19 tertiary hospitals in 19 cities nationwide over the period from July 2021 to June 2022 were studied.Based on the MIC results,the prevalence of methicillin resistant Stapylococcus aureus(MRSA)and methicillin resistant Stapylococcus epidermidis(MRSE)were 36.4%and 79.9%respectively.No vancomycin insensitivity Staphylococcus was detected.Staphylococcus aureus were 100%susceptibility to linezolid and teicoplanin.Antibiotic resistance rate of Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium to ampicillin were 3.1%and 92.9%.The detectation rate of vancomycin resistant Enterococcus(VRE)was 1.6%.Nonsusceptibility rate of Enterococcus faecalis to linezolid was 32.2%,two consecutive monitoring rises and nonsusceptibility rate of Enterococcus faecium(12.5%)was also significantly increased.The prevalence of penicillin non-susceptible Streptococcus pneumoniae(PNSSP)was 0.8%based on non-meningitis and parenteral administration criterion,decrease of nearly 30 percentage points from the previous surveillance.While for cases of oral penicillin,the rate was 71.8%,showing similar to last time.The results indicated that the number of strains with higher MIC value of penicillin(MIC ≥4 mg·L-1)decreased significantly.There were no significant differences of resistance rates of Stapylococcus aureus,Stapylococcus epidermidis,Enterococcus faecalis,Enterococcus faecium and Streptococcus pneumoniae among various groups such as different department,age,or specimen source.Conclusion VRE detection ratio stablized at a relatively low level.The number of Streptococcus pneumoniae with higher MIC value of penicillin decreased significantly compared with the previous monitoring.The increase of linezolidin-insensitive Enterococcus was noteworthy.

		                        			Objective To investigate the Gram-negative bacteria resistance in nationwide's tertiary hospitals and understand the trend of antimicrobial resistance.Method All the clinical isolates were collected from 19 hospitals and the minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs)were tested using agar/broth dilution method recommended.Results A total of 4 066 pathogenic isolates from 19 tertiary hospitals in 19 cities nationwide over the period from July 2021 to June 2022 were studied.Based on the MIC results,Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae showed extended spectrum β-lactamase(ESBLs)phenotype rates of 55.0%and 21.0%,respectively,ESBLs phenotype rate of Klebsiella pneumoniae keep going down.The ratios of carbapenems resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae increased by 5 percentage points compared with the previous monitoring.Carbapenems,moxalactam,sitafloxacin,β-lactam combination agents,fosfomycin trometamol,and amikacin displayed desirable antibacterial activity against Enterbacterales,susceptibal rates were above 75%.In addition,tigacycline,omacycline,colistin and fluoxefin maintained good antibacterial activity against their respective effective bacteria/species,and the bacterial sensitivity rates by more than 80%.Resistance rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannnii to imipenem were 26.3%and 72.1%and multidrug-resistant(MDR)detection rates were 41.1%and 77.3%,extensively drug-resistant(XDR)were 12.0%and 71.8%,respectively.Comparison of drug resistance rates from different wards,ages and specimen sources indicated that the proportion of resistance in Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from intensive care unit(ICU)were significantly higher than non-ICU.Carbapenem resistance rates of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from ICU were more than 35%.Resistance rates of Haemophilus influenzae isolated in children to β-lactam,macrolide,clindamycin and ESBLs detection rate in Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from children were more than those from adults and the old people,so bacterial resistance in children is an important problem in China.Conclusion ESBLs detection rate of Escherichia coli increased slightly after years of continuous decline.The proportion of carbapenem resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa was stable,but the resistance rate of Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii to carbapenems was still increased,which should be paid more attention.

		                        			 Aim To study the modulation effects of HKSX capsule on Alzheimer's disease (AD) and to preliminarily explore its mechanism using SAMP8 as an AD model.Methods SAMP8 mice aged 4 months were randomly divided into model group ( P8 group) , HKSX low-dose group (L-HKSX group) , HKSX high- dose group ( H-HKSX group) , and senescence-accel- erated mouse/resistance 1 (SAMR1 ) at the same age was used as normal control group ( R1 group).New object recognition and Morris water maze experiments were used to detect the learning and memory abilities of each group.Levels of A(3, _40 and A(3, 42 were detected by ELISA, and the expression levels of LC3- U , p62, Beclin-1 , PSD95 and Syn in hippocampus of each group were detected by Western blot.Results Compared with model group, both low and high doses of HKSX could enhance the D1 in new object recognition test, increase number of crossing the platform anrl the time spent in the target quadrant, and shorten the escape latency.Besides, it also enhanced the clearance °f Ap, _40 and AfJ, _42 , up-regulated the relative expression of Beclin-1 and LC3- II and down-regulated the expression of P62.In addition, it increased the expression of synaptic-related proteins PSD95 and Syn.Conclusions HKSX capsule can regulate the expression of autophagy-related proteins and improve autoph- agv dysfunction, which in turn reduce the deposition of A(3 in vivo to alleviate its cytotoxicity and improve synaptic plasticity.Thus, HKSX can improve the learning and memory deficits of AD mice. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7. Identification and verification of effective components of Huanghuai for dysfunctional uterine bleeding based on network pharmacology and molecular docking

		                        			 Objective: The Huanghuai (HH), which is made from the dried roots of Scutellaria baicalensis (Huangqin in Chinese) and the dried flowers and buds of Sophora japonica (Huaihua in Chinese), is a traditional Chinese formula used to treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) (Benglou in Chinese) and proven to treat hemostasis effectively in our previous study. Network pharmacology and molecule docking were performed to study the underlying mechanism of Huanghuai (HH), and pharmacodynamic experiments were conducted to verify its curative effect. Methods: TCMSP, UniProt, GeneCards, STRING, DAVID databases, and Cytoscape 3.7.2 were utilized for the construction of a compound-target-pathway network. Docking the potential effective components with potential targets. The HPLC analysis of the potential effective components was performed. In vivo, the hot plate test model was used to study the analgesic activity, the egg white was used to study the swollen reaction in the sole in mice, and the hemostasis effect was studied by the capillary method, tail-breaking method and abortion uterus test. Results: The results showed that six compounds (acacetin, beta-sitosterol, wogonin, baicalein, kaempferol and quercetin) and four potential targets (PTGS2, AKT1, TP53 and TNF) in the compound-target-pathway network were the potential material basis for HH to treat DUB. It can be seen that the binding energy of the acacetin, wogonin, baicalein, beta-sitosterol, kaempferol and quercetin in HH docked with the receptor proteins PTGS2, AKT1, TP53, and TNF were far less than −5.0 kJ/mol, which means the molecules have low conformational energy, stable structure and high binding activity. And the result of HPLC analysis showed that acacetin, wogonin, baicalein, kaempferol and quercetin were the potential effective components of the hemostasis mechanism of HH, beta-sitosterol was removed due to low content. In vivo testing of the potential effective components, it revealed that the group of potential effective components identified by HPLC could increase the pain threshold, inhibit the swelling hind paws of mice induced by egg white, reduce the bleeding time and clotting time, reduce uterine bleeding, decrease the uterine weight, increase the content of Ca and ET-1, and reduce the content of NO in uterine homogenate tissue, and decrease of E

9.Establishment of a predictive equation for pulmonary ventilation function in school-aged children in northeast China: a prospective study.

10.Effects of Tanreqing Capsule on the negative conversion time of nucleic acid in patients with COVID-19: A retrospective cohort study.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			Traditional Chinese medicine plays a significant role in the treatment of the pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Tanreqing Capsule (TRQC) was used in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center. This study aimed to investigate the clinical efficacy of TRQC in the treatment of COVID-19.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 82 patients who had laboratory-confirmed mild and moderate COVID-19; patients were treated with TRQC in one designated hospital. The treatment and control groups consisted of 25 and 57 cases, respectively. The treatment group was given TRQC orally three times a day, three pills each time, in addition to conventional Western medicine treatments which were also administered to the control group. The clinical efficacy indicators, such as the negative conversion time of pharyngeal swab nucleic acid, the negative conversion time of fecal nucleic acid, the duration of negative conversion of pharyngeal-fecal nucleic acid, and the improvement in the level of immune indicators such as T-cell subsets (CD3, CD4 and CD45) were monitored.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			COVID-19 patients in the treatment group, compared to the control group, had a shorter negative conversion time of fecal nucleic acid (4 vs. 9 days, P = 0.047) and a shorter interval of negative conversion of pharyngeal-fecal nucleic acid (0 vs. 2 days, P = 0.042). 		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			Significant reductions in the negative conversion time of fecal nucleic acid and the duration of negative conversion of pharyngeal-fecal nucleic acid were identified in the treatment group as compared to the control group, illustrating the potential therapeutic benefits of using TRQC as a complement to conventional medicine in patients with mild and moderate COVID-19.
