A comprehensive understanding of the nutritional composition and active components of human milk are important for promoting infant health. However, in the design and implementation of scientific research on human milk, the lack of standardized research and implementation methods have led to the collection, storage, and testing processes of human milk samples being largely based on reference literature and practical experience. This has resulted in variability in the representativeness of human milk samples and differences in the comparability of research results between different studies. This article summarizes the principles and guidelines for the " Specification for collection and storage of human milk samples for research", published by the Chinese Nutrition Society on December 30, 2022, and discusses the feasibility and importance of standardized management in the process of scientific research on human milk.

Objective:To investigate the current status of primiparas′ postpartum fatigue and paternal involvement, and to explore the relationship between primiparas′ postpartum fatigue and paternal involvement, and to provide reference basis for developing targeted intervention measures to alleviate postpartum fatigue of primiparas. Methods:A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 347 primiparas from Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University, Yangzhou Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from September to December 2020 by convenience sampling. The survey instruments included the general information questionnaire, the Parenting Alliance Inventory (PAI), and the Postpartum Fatigue Scale (PFS).Results:The total score of PAI was (86.51 ± 12.07) points, and the level of paternal involvement was high. The total score of PFS was (16.68 ± 4.12) points. 95.97% (333/347) of primiparas had varying degrees of postpartum fatigue. There was a significant negative correlation between paternal involvement and primiparas′ postpartum fatigue ( r=-0.327, P<0.01). The results of multiple stratified regression analysis showed that paternal involvement was included in the influencing factor model of primiparas′ postpartum fatigue, which could independently explain 9.7% variation of primiparas′ postpartum fatigue. Conclusions:The higher level of paternal involvement could predict the lower level of primiparas′ postpartum fatigue. Medical staff should pay attention to the participation level of the spouses of primiparas in childcare, and improve the participation level of the spouses of primiparas in scientific ways to alleviate the postpartum fatigue of primiparas.

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2022;34(8):890-896
Mitophagy is the selective degradation of damaged mitochondria, and it is of great significance to maintain the normal quantity and quality of mitochondria to ensure cell homeostasis and survival. Necroptosis is a type of programmed cell necrosis that can be induced by excessive mitophagy. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced mainly by mitochondria and can damage mitochondria. Hyperoxic acute lung injury (HALI) is a serious complication of clinical oxygen therapy, and its pathogenesis is not clear. Existing studies have shown that mitophagy and necroptosis are involved in the occurrence of HALI. There are many mechanisms regulating mitophagy and necroptosis, including tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), E3 ubiquitin protein ligase (PINK1/Parkin) protein pathway encoded by PTEN-induced kinase 1/PARK2 gene, phosphoglycerate mutase 5 (PGAM5), etc. PGAM5 has been proved to be a key factor linking mitophagy and necroptosis. Previous studies of our team found that the mechanism of microRNA-21-5p (miR-21-5p) alleviating HALI was related to its pGAM5-mediated inhibition of mitophagy, but the mechanism of PGAM5-mediated mitophagy and necroptosis remains unclear. Therefore, this paper reviews the targets of PGAM5-mediated mitophagy and necroptosis, in order to find clues of lung protection of pGAM5-mediated mitophagy and necroptosis in HALI, and provide theoretical basis for subsequent basic research.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2021;42(6):842-844
Objective:
To examine college students awareness of AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) and HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), as well as their willingness to undergo testing, and to provide guidance for further education targeted towards AIDS prevention.
Methods:
The respondents were selected from two companies of military training camps in 4 universities in Fengtai District of Beijing using cluster sampling, and a questionnaire was used to obtain relevant information among 1 248 college freshmen. The content of the questionnaire included basic information about the students, awareness of AIDS, and willingness to undergo testing.
Results:
A total of 87.18% students were familiar with AIDS related knowledge, and 62.98% students intended to have HIV tests in the future. Willingness to be tested for HIV was higher among not local students (67.39%) than among local students(55.65%)(χ 2=17.32, P<0.05). The willingness to get HIV testing was higher among students who had an understanding of AIDS (65.26%) than among those who lacked an awareness(47.50%)(χ 2=18.87, P<0.05). In terms of the willingness to be tested for HIV, the main concerns focused on personal privacy (23.24%) and the cost (18.59%). Multivariate regression analysis showed that improving students awareness of five of the items related to a basic knowledge of AIDS may increase their willingness to get HIV testing(P<0.05). Most students indicated a preference to get HIV testing at a hospital (68.51%) or at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(42.79%).
Conclusion
The willingness to get HIV testing can be increased by launching an AIDS health education program that targets weak knowledge points with respect to AIDS awareness.

Journal of Zhejiang University. Medical sciences 2021;50(5):627-632
To investigate the effect and mechanism of metformin on intestinal epithelial barrier injury in ulcerative colitis. A cell model of colitis was established by co-culture of human colon cancer cell line Caco-2 and human monocyte cell line THP-1. The colitis model cells were treated with metformin at concentration of for Flow cytometry was used to detect Caco-2 cell apoptosis, and Western blotting was used to detect the protein expression of tight junction proteins and endoplasmic reticulum stress-related proteins. After metformin treatment, the apoptosis rate of Caco-2 cells was decreased from (14.22±2.34)% to 0.61)% (=3.119, <0.05), and the expression levels of tight junction protein-1 and claudin-1 increased (=5.172 and 3.546, both <0.05). In addition, the expression levels of endoplasmic reticulum-related proteins glucose regulated protein (GRP) 78, C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) and caspase-12, as well as the phosphorylation level of PRKR-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase (PERK) and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2α (eIF2α) decreased (all <0.05). Metformin may alleviate the intestinal epithelial barrier damage in colitis by reducing intestinal epithelial cell apoptosis and increasing the expression of tight junction proteins, which may be associated with the inhibition of endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced apoptotic pathway.
