Referring to ZHANG Xichun's experience in treating dysentery from cold-fire accumulation, the treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC) in this paper can be divided into three stages including cold-fire accumulation stage, excessive heat and putrid intestine stage, and healthy qi deficiency and pathogen lingering stage. For people with slippery and excess pulse in the cold-fire accumulation stage, Xiaochengqi Decoction (小承气汤) added with Baishao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) and Gancao (Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae) can be used for purgation, while those with deficient pulse, Huazhi Decoction (化滞汤) or Xieli Decoction (燮理汤) can be used. In the excessive heat and putrid intestine stage, Tongbian Baitouweng Decoction (通变白头翁汤) and Jiedu Shenghua Elixir (解毒生化丹) are suggested. In the healthy qi deficiency and pathogen lingering stage, it is advised to use Jiedu Shenghua Elixir added with Shanyao (Rhizoma Dioscoreae), and Sanbao Porridge (三宝粥). Additionally, the medication rules, dosage and administration characteristics of Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis)-Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi), Yadanzi (Fructus Bruceae), Diyu (Radix Sanguisorbae), Shanyao and Liuhuang (Sulphur) by ZHANG Xichun have been summarized with the help of modern pharmacological research, so as to provide new ideas for the treatment of UC by TCM.

The difficulty of wound healing in patients is a difficult problem that doctors in all clinical departments may encounter, and there is still no good solution. Resveratrol is a kind of natural active substance, which has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and angiogenesis promoting effects, and is a potential drug to promote wound healing. However, the clinical application of resveratrol is limited due to its low bioavailability. In this review, the molecular mechanism of resveratrol in promoting wound healing and its administration methods in wound treatment were reviewed to provide ideas for the redevelopment of resveratrol.

After the compatibility of Astragali Radix and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, most of the effective components of Astragali Radix increase, and the bioavailability is improved. Compared with the application of the two drugs alone, it can enhance the effects of immune regulation, anti-tumor, diuresis, lung protection, regulation of flora, and intestinal protection. However, the optimal compatibility ratio of Astragali Radix- Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma pair to exert various pharmacological effects still needs to be clarified. The drug pair and related preparations are mostly used in the treatment of nephropathy, but its mechanism of action needs to be further elucidated.

Objective:
To explore the differences and correlation between the target volumes based on deformation registration (DIR) using preoperative prone diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and postoperative prone computed tomography (CT) simulation imaging for patients undergoing breast-conserving surgery (BCS).
Methods:
Eighteen breast cancer patients suitable for external-beam partial breast irradiation (EB-PBI) after BCS were enrolled. Preoperative prone diagnostic MR and postoperative prone CT scan sets were acquired during free breathing for all patients. The gross tumor volume (GTV) delineated on the preoperative diagnostic MR images was defined as GTVMRI, the clinical target volumes (CTVMRI+ 1 and CTVMRI+ 2)were defined as 10 and 20 mm margins around the GTVMRI, and the planning target volume (PTVMRI+ 1 and PTVMRI+ 2) were defined as 15 and 25 mm margins around the GTVMRI, respectively. Tumor bed (TB) delineated on the postoperative prone CT simulation images acquired during free breathing was defined as GTVTB, CTV and PTV were defined as 10 and 15 mm margins around the GTVTB, respectively. The target volume of the whole breast contoured on the MR and CT images were defined as CTVBreast-MRI and CTVBreast-CI, respectively. The MR and CT images were registered deformably in MIM software system.
Results:
The GTVTB, CTVTB and PTVTB were significantly greater than GTVMRI, GTVMRI+ 1 and PTVMRI+ 1, respectively (

Chinese Journal of Clinical Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2018;25(5):368-371
The incidence of postoperative excessive bleeding and reexploration is relatively high, and it will bring a series of serious complications, such as an additional surgery, a longer intensive care unit stay, longer time on mechanical ventilation, an increase need of allogeneic blood product transfusions and increased mortality. However, the understanding of postoperative excessive bleeding and reexploration in China is significantly different from the international level, and the understanding of postoperative excessive bleeding and reexploration after cardiac surgery in clinical work is still not enough. This review will focus on some problems, such as related factors analysis of postoperative excessive bleeding, hemostatic process optimization and the serious complications of reexploration after cardiac surgery.
