		                        			With the extensive application of nuclear technology in industry, agriculture, and medicine, the safety issues associated with neutron radiation have become increasingly prominent. Due to their high penetrability and strong ionization effect, neutrons can cause serious health risks by directly damaging DNA or inducing secondary γ radiation. Therefore, the neutron radiation protection has become a core challenge in radiation protection, especially the research and development of neutron shielding materials. To ensure the safe development of nuclear technology, neutron shielding materials are indispensable and constitute a fundamental core technology for radiation protection. This paper reviews the theory of neutron radiation protection and the research progress of neutron shielding materials, with a focus on the current application status and existing problems of neutron shielding materials. This article also discusses the future development trends. 2.Research on the reconstruction of doctor-patient relationships in patients with sudden deafness from the perspective of narrative medicine

		                        			Patients with sudden deafness encounter greater psychological challenges and communication barriers after experiencing sudden hearing loss, and traditional medical models often fail to adequately address their unique needs. This paper analyzed the current situation of emotional and behavioral changes in patients with sudden deafness, and the gap between their expectations and the reality of medical care. From the perspective of narrative medicine, the theory and characteristics of the reconstruction of the doctor-patient relationships in patients with sudden deafness were explored. The results showed that narrative medicine can enhance patients’ emotional resonance and understanding, improve the efficiency and quality of doctor-patient communication, promote the formulation of personalized treatment plans, and enhance treatment adherence and satisfaction. Based on these results, strategies and pathways for the reconstruction of doctor-patient relationships for patients with sudden deafness were proposed, including building empathetic bridges and tapping into mechanisms of emotional resonance within narrative medicine; optimizing communication strategies and promoting the application of narrative techniques in doctor-patient dialogues; connecting narrative pathways and advocating the exploration of stories and strategies in personalized treatments; as well as facilitating treatment adherence and making full use of the psychodynamic effects of narrative medicine. Narrative medicine, as a patient-centered medical practice, can effectively promote the reconstruction of doctor-patient relationships, enhance treatment effectiveness, and offer a more humane treatment experience for patients. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.To Investigate the Effect of Helicobacter Pylori Infection on Hedgehog and NOX/NF-κB/STAT1 Signaling Pathway in Chronic Atrophic Gastritis from the Perspective of"Dampness-Heat Induced Blood Stasis"

		                        			Objective To compare the pathological status of gastric mucosa and the expression of HH-PTCH-SMO-GLI(Hedgehog signaling pathway)and NOX/NF-κB/STAT1 signaling pathways in Hp and non-HP infected CAG patients,and to explore the biological mechanism of Hp promoting the"inflammatory cancer transformation"of CAG.Methods 43 patients with CAG who met the criteria were enrolled and divided into CAG with Hp infection group(Hp+ CAG group,n=21)and CAG without Hp infection group(HP-CAG group,n=22).The histological changes of gastric mucosa were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.Western blot was used to detect the relative expression levels of NOX1,NOX2,NOX4,STAT1,P65 and P-P65 in gastric mucosa.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)was used to detect Gli1 mRNA,Gli2 mRNA,Gli3 mRNA,Shh mRNA,Smo mRNA,Ptch mRNA,NOX1 mRNA,NOX2 mRNA,NOX4 mRNA and NF-κB mRNA in gastric mucosa The mRNA level.Results HE staining results of gastric tissues in the two groups:In the Hp+CAG group,gastric epithelial cells were partially necrotic and shed,the surface was not smooth,the number of glands was reduced and disordered,intestinal metaplasia was observed,and diffuse lymphocyte and neutrophil infiltration were observed in the lamina proper.The degree of lymphocyte and neutrophil infiltration in HP-CAG group was lighter than that in Hp+CAG group.RT-qPCR results:Compared with HP-CAG group,the levels of Gli1 mRNA,Shh mRNA,Smo mRNA and Ptch mRNA in gastric mucosa of Hp+CAG group were significantly decreased(P<0.01).The levels of Gli2 mRNA,Gli3 mRNA,NOX1 mRNA,NOX2 mRNA,NOX4 mRNA and NF-κB mRNA were significantly increased(P<0.01).Western blot detection results:Compared with hP-CAG group,the relative expression levels of NOX1/GAPDH,NOX2/GAPDH,NOX4/GAPDH and P-P65/GAPDH in gastric mucosa of Hp+CAG group were significantly increased(P<0.01),and the STAT1 level was significantly decreased(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the relative expression of P65/GAPDH between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Hp infection may cause long-term inflammation of gastric mucosa,promote atrophy and intestinal metaplasia,and increase the risk of cancer by inhibiting hH-PTC-SMO-GLi signaling pathway and abnormal activation of NOX/NF-κB/STAT1 signaling pathway.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Construction of a nursing performance management indicator system for a dental specialty hospital based on the balanced scorecard

		                        			Objective:To develop a nursing performance management indicator system for a dental specialty hospital based on the balanced scorecard framework.Methods:Utilizing the balanced scorecard as a theoretical framework, the preliminary indicator system was developed through literature analysis and semi-structured interviews. From July to September 2023, two rounds of expert panel inquiries were conducted to select, modify, and refine the indicators, thus establishing the system. The engagement of the experts was indicated by the effective response rate of the questionnaires, the authority of the experts by an expert authority coefficient, and the consensus among expert opinions by Kendall's coefficient of concordance.Results:In the first round, 22 questionnaires were distributed, and 22 were effectively returned, yielding an 100% response rate. In the second round, 22 questionnaires were distributed, and 19 were effectively returned, with an 86% response rate. The authority coefficients for the two rounds were 0.866 and 0.868, respectively, while Kendall's coefficients of concordance were 0.333 and 0.335 ( P<0.01). The final system comprised four primary indicators, 13 secondary indicators, and 38 tertiary indicators. Conclusions:The nursing performance management indicator system for the dental specialty hospital developed in this study is scientifically sound, comprehensive, and reliable. 5.Analysis of perioperative complications of flow-diverter devices in the treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms

		                        			Objective:To investigate the perioperative adverse events and complications of flow-diverter devices in the treatment of unruptured intracranial aneurysms.Methods:This is a retrospective case series study. The clinical and imaging data of 174 patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms treated with flow-diverter devices in the Department of Neurointervention, Department of Neurology, the First Medical Center of Chinese People′s Liberation Army General Hospital from January 2020 to January 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 63 males and 111 females, with an age of (53.9±11.4) years (range:23 to 76 years).The occurrence, development and outcome of perioperative complications and related adverse events during treatment were collected and analyzed. The degree of aneurysm embolization was evaluated using the O′Kelly-Marotta (OKM) grading system,with OKM grade C and D as successful occlusion.Results:A total of 187 flow-diverter devices (from 7 different brands) were implanted in 174 patients (with 294 aneurysms). Of these, 151 cases involved standalone stent embolization, 26 cases involved stent embolization combined with coil assistance, and 5 cases involved the use of two flow-diverter devices simultaneously. Twenty-nine cases (16.7%,29/174) suffered intraoperative adverse events, including 10 cases of poor stents deployment, 3 cases of stents migration into the aneurysm sac, 1 cases of abnormal guidewire movement, 4 cases of ischemic events. Complications occurred in 10 patients (5.7%, 10/174), and neurological deficits occurred in 5 patients (2.9%, 5/174). A total of 129 patients completed follow-up for more than 12 months after surgery. There were 117 aneurysms with OKM grade D and 22 with OKM grade C, showing a satisfactory healing rate of 77.7% (139/179).Conclusion:The effect of flow-diverter devices in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms is satisfactory, but complications and adverse events cannot be ignored, especially the relatively high incidence of perioperative adverse events, which requires neurointerventional physicians to be vigilant.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
6.Advances on physiology and pathology of subpopulations of macrophages in the lung tissue

		                        			Macrophages are vital in maintaining tissue homeostasis in the lungs by modulating and regulating immune responses.Based on different origins and anatomical locations,macrophages in the lungs are categorized into alveolar macrophages,interstitial macrophages,perivascular macrophages,and inflammatory macrophages.Alveolar macrophages are located in the alveolar spaces and are primarily responsible for maintaining alveolar surfactant homeostasis,defending against pathogens and regulating immune responses.Interstitial macrophages can maintain homeostasis,regulate immunity and anti-inflammation in the lung tissue.Perivascular macrophages play a crucial role in inhibiting lung inflammation,improving pulmonary fibrosis,and regulating lung tumor progression due to antigen-presenting and immunomodulatory effects.Inflammatory macrophages,which are differentiated from monocytes during inflammation,regulate the inflammatory process.This article reviews the origins of various subpopulations of macro-phages in the lung tissue and their physiological and pathological functions as well as discusses the underlying mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7.Clinical features and risk factors for invasive fungal sinusitis after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

		                        			Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with invasive fungal sinusitis (invasive fungal rhinosinusitis, IFR) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and explored the risk factors for IFR after allo-HSCT.Methods:Nineteen patients with IFR after allo-HSCT at Peking University People’s Hospital from January 2012 to December 2021 were selected as the study group, and 95 patients without IFR after allo-HSCT during this period were randomly selected as the control group (1:5 ratio) .Results:Nineteen patients, including 10 males and 9 females, had IFR after allo-HSCT. The median age was 36 (10–59) years. The median IFR onset time was 68 (9–880) days after allo-HSCT. There were seven patients with acute myeloid leukemia, five with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, two with myelodysplastic syndrome, two with chronic myeloid leukemia, one with acute mixed-cell leukemia, one with multiple myeloma, and one with T-lymphoblastic lymph node tumor. There were 13 confirmed cases and 6 clinically diagnosed cases. The responsible fungus was Mucor in two cases, Rhizopus in four, Aspergillus in four, and Candida in three. Five patients received combined treatment comprising amphotericin B and posaconazole, one patient received combined treatment comprising voriconazole and posaconazole, nine patients received voriconazole, and four patients received amphotericin B. In addition to antifungal treatment, 10 patients underwent surgery. After antifungal treatment and surgery, 15 patients achieved a response, including 13 patients with a complete response and 2 patients with a partial response. Multivariate analysis revealed that neutropenia before transplantation ( P=0.021) , hemorrhagic cystitis after transplantation ( P=0.012) , delayed platelet engraftment ( P=0.008) , and lower transplant mononuclear cell count ( P=0.012) were independent risk factors for IFR after allo-HSCT. The 5-year overall survival rates in the IFR and control groups after transplantation were 29.00%±0.12% and 91.00%±0.03%, respectively ( P<0.01) . Conclusion:Although IFR is rare, it is associated with poor outcomes in patients undergoing allo-HSCT. 8.The effect of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency on allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with hematological disorders

		                        			Objectives:To determine the effect of glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency on patients’ complications and prognosis following allogeneic stem cell hematopoietic transplantation (allo-HSCT) .Methods:7 patients with G6PD deficiency (study group) who underwent allo-HSCT at Peking University People's Hospital from March 2015 to January 2021 were selected as the study group, and thirty-five patients who underwent allo-HSCT during the same period but did not have G6PD deficiency were randomly selected as the control group in a 1∶5 ratio. Gender, age, underlying diseases, and donors were balanced between the two groups. Collect clinical data from two patient groups and perform a retrospective nested case-control study.Results:The study group consisted of six male patients and one female patient, with a median age of 37 (range, 2-45) years old. The underlying hematologic diseases included acute myeloid leukemia ( n=3), acute lymphocytic leukemia ( n=2), and severe aplastic anemia ( n=2). All 7 G6PD deficiency patients achieved engraftment of neutrophils within 28 days of allo-HSCT, while the engraftment rate of neutrophils was 94.5% in the control group. The median days of platelet engraftment were 21 (6–64) d and 14 (7–70) d ( P=0.113). The incidence rates of secondary poor graft function in the study group and control group were 42.9% (3/7) and 8.6% (3/35), respectively ( P=0.036). The CMV infection rates were 71.4% (5/7) and 31.4% (11/35), respectively ( P=0.049). The incidence rates of hemorrhagic cystitis were 57.1% (4/7) and 8.6% (3/35), respectively ( P=0.005), while the bacterial infection rates were 100% (7/7) and 77.1% (27/35), respectively ( P=0.070). The infection rates of EBV were 14.3% (1/7) and 14.3% (5/35), respectively ( P=1.000), while the incidence of fungal infection was 14.3% (1/7) and 25.7% (9/35), respectively ( P=0.497). The rates of post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) were 0% and 5.7%, respectively ( P=0.387) . Conclusions:The findings of this study indicate that blood disease patients with G6PD deficiency can tolerate conventional allo-HSCT pretreatment regimens, and granulocytes and platelets can be implanted successfully. However, after transplantation, patients should exercise caution to avoid viral infection, complications of hemorrhagic cystitis, and secondary poor graft function.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
9.Causes and characteristics of pre-engraftment mortality after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

		                        			Objective:To analyze the causes and demographic characteristics of pre-engraftment mortality in patients who underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and investigate the risk factors and measures for preventing pre-engraftment mortality.Methods:A retrospective case analysis, involving a total of 7 427 patients who underwent allo-HSCT at Peking University People’s Hospital between January 2016 and July 2023, was conducted.Results:Among the 7 427 patients who underwent allo-HSCT, 56 cases (0.75% ) experienced pre-engraftment mortality. The median time to death for these 56 patients was +7 (-3 to +38) days after stem cell infusion. The median times to death for patients with acute leukemia (AL), severe aplastic anemia (SAA), and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) were +11 (-1 to +38), +3 (-1 to +34), and +16 (-1 to +38) days, respectively ( P=0.013). The main causes of pre-engraftment mortality were infection (39.3% ), cardiac toxicity (28.6% ), and intracranial hemorrhage (26.8% ). Infection was the most common cause of pre-engraftment mortality in patients with AL and MDS (55.0% and 60.0% ), whereas cardiac toxicity was predominantly observed in patients with SAA (71.4% ), with no cases in patients with AL and only one case in patients with MDS. Among patients who died from intracranial hemorrhage, 53.3% had severe infections. The median times to death for infection, cardiac toxicity, and intracranial hemorrhage was +11 (-1 to +38), +2.5 (-1 to +17), and +8 (-3 to +37) days, respectively ( P<0.001) . Conclusions:Infection is the primary cause of pre-engraftment mortality in allo-HSCT, and severe cardiac toxicity leading to pre-engraftment mortality should be closely monitored in patients with SAA.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
10.Clinical characteristics of human parvovirus B19 infection after allogeneic stem cell transplantation

		                        			Human parvovirus B19 (HPVB19) belongs to Parvoviridae, a genus of erythrovirus, and has been associated with various human diseases, and HPVB19 infection is one of the most important causes of refractory anemia after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). This study retrospectively analyzed 24 patients with HSCT combined with HPVB19 infection to collate and summarize the clinical presentation, treatment, and regression of patients with combined HPVB19 infection after allo-HSCT and provide experience in the management of HPVB19 infection after allo-HSCT. The median age of the patients with HPVB19 infection was 25 years, and the median time of infection occurrence was +107 days after transplantation, and 22 (91.7% ) had anemia with a median hemoglobin (HGB) level of 77.5 (46-149) g/L, and 13 (54.2% ) had new-onset anemia or persistent decline in HGB. The median length of hospital stay was 19 days. Among patients with new-onset anemia or persistent decline in HGB, the mean increase in HGB after treatment with intravenous immunoglobulin and/or antiviral therapy was 15.69 g/L, and treatment was effective in 10 (76.92% ) patients. HPVB19 infection should be alerted to the development of refractory anemia after HSCT; despite the lack of specific treatment, the overall prognosis of HPVB19-infected patients is good.
