OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of individualized repositioning maneuver in the treatment of posterior semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(PC-BPPV)with limited neck movement.METHODS There were 163 patients with PC-BPPV admitted to the Department of Otolaryngology of Xiaolan People's Hospital of Zhongshan from January,2019 to July,2022 who were selected and divided into observation group(57 cases)and control group(106 cases)according to whether there was neck movement limitation or not.The control group was divided into control group 1(51 cases)and control group 2(55 cases)based on different reduction methods.The control group 1 were treated with modified Epley maneuver,and the observation group and the control group 2 were treated with individualized Epley maneuver.The cure rate and effective rate were compared among the three groups.The scores of vestibular symptom index(VSI),Berg balance scale(BBS)and the dimension scores of vertigo handicap inventory(DHI)were compared among the three groups before and after treatment.RESULTS There was no significant difference in the cure rate(84.37%vs.81.82%vs.80.70%)and effective rate(11.76%vs.10.91%vs.12.28%)among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of each dimension of VSI and DHI of PC-BPPV patients of the three groups decreased(P<0.01),and the scores of BBS increased(P<0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of VSI(23.19±3.88 vs.23.70±4.01 vs.23.46±3.92),BBS(45.56±5.02 vs.45.14±4.98 vs.44.84±5.11)and each dimension of DHI among the three groups(P>0.05),respectively.CONCLUSION The individual Epley maneuver can effectively improve the vertigo status of patients with PC-BPPV with limited neck movement.

Objective: To analyze the application of digital games for interventions to reduce risky sexual behavior among adolescents, so as to provide a reference for reducing adolescent risky sexual behavior. Methods: The study used PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Embase, China Biomedical Database, CNKI, Wanfang Database and VIP to carry out a literature search of the application of digital games for interventions aimed at reducing risky sexual behavior among adolescents covering the time period up until February 2024. Results: A total of 10 English articles were included, involving a total of 3 063 adolescents aged 10-24 years old. The publication time spanned from 2013 to 2023. The development and design of the digital games were mostly based on cognitive behavior theory and authentic decision making situations and dialogues. The game participants were divided into single party and multi party categories, mainly using virtual role playing, interactive narrative, and adventure challenges, and there were some differences in content. Digital game intervention had good feasibility and acceptability, which could improve adolescents sexual health knowledge, attitudes, self efficacy, and risk perception, so as to reduce the occurrence of risky behavior. Conclusion As an intervention aimed at reducing risky sexual behavior in adolescents, digital show has significant advantages and can serve as a new prevention and control strategy.

In 2024,the American College of Gastroenterology released the recommendations for the diagnosis and management of common focal liver lesions based on the optimal evidence-based medicine evidence,including both solid and cystic liver lesions,making a comprehensive update to the 2014 edition of the guidelines for focal liver lesions.The guidelines introduce 51 key concepts and 18 detailed recommendations and provides a certain reference for the diagnosis and treatment of benign liver lesions in China.However,given the insidious onset and complex conditions of focal liver lesions,the difficulties in diagnosis,and the lack of high-grade evidence-based medicine evidence,the recommendations in the guidelines should serve as general guidelines rather than rigid protocols and should be used with reference to the situation of China.The guidelines set a benchmark for high-quality evidence-based hepatobiliary surgery guidelines,and the moderate-to low-grade evidence-based medicine evidence and controversies listed in the guidelines provide future directions for the research on focal liver lesions.

Aiming at the current situation of insufficient integration of medical humanities teaching and clinical practice,as well as the need for further research and improvement in the teaching system,guided by the concept of medicine and humanistic literacy integration advocated by the new medical science,this paper deeply discussed the construction of clinical medical humanities teaching system from four aspects,including the selection of clinical medical humanities teachers and team building;the teaching path that combines theoretical education,narrative medicine,and clinical skill training infused with medical humanities content;curriculum ideological and political construction with the goal of establishing the core concept and value orientation of"patient-centered";the teaching assessment and evaluation method characterized by formative evaluation.The clinical medical humanities teaching system emphasizes the practicality,experiential,and emotional aspects of medical humanities teaching,deeply integrating medical humanities with clinical practice teaching content throughout the clinical internship period of medical education,with a view to enhancing the humanistic practice ability and literacy of medical students.
