With the rapid development of information technology, research on ancient TCM books has shifted from the traditional collation and digitization into intelligent knowledge service, thereby achieving the deep integration of ancient TCM books collation and clinical needs. Based on the clinical problem and knowledge element theory, we implemented in-depth indexing and knowledge mining for 600 kinds of ancient TCM books, built a knowledge sharing service platform for ancient TCM books by integrating database, cloud platform, knowledge graph and other technologies, and carried out the thematic literature research and developed databases for four major diseases including stroke, heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and diabetes. The digital intelligence products have been applied in hundreds of hospitals for evaluation and feedback. Finally, through "digital processing plus intelligent application", the two-way interaction between ancient TCM books and current clinical practice is realized, and the path and paradigm of ancient TCM books knowledge serving the modern prevention and control of major diseases is formed, providing reference for the innovative utilization of ancient TCM books.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the distribution and drug resistant characteristics of isolated pathogens (especially Gram-negative bacteria) in hospital and promote the rational use of antibacterial drugs. Methods The pathogens and drug sensitivity test results were collected from the whole hospital every quarter from July 2018 to March 2023, and were conducted retrospective analysis. Results A total of 14 844 pathogens were isolated and detected, including 4 757 Gram-positive bacteria (32.05%) and 10 087 Gram-negative bacteria (67.95%). The detection rate of extended spectrum beta-lactamases Escherichia coli was 43.23%, and it maintained high sensitivity to carbapenems and enzyme inhibitors, and the sensitivity rate was about 99.00%. The drug resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae was more serious, and carbapenem-resistant, multi-drug resistance and extensively-drug resistance appeared. In 2022,the detection rate of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae was 54.82%; the detection rates of carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii in non-fermentative bacteria were 22.02% and 74.34%, the detection rate of multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was >70%. Conclusion The problem of drug resistance of Gram-negative bacteria was still serious, especially in Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii. The problem of bacterial resistance poses great challenges to clinical treatment, and it is necessary to conduct regular monitoring and promote rational drug use.

ObjectiveTo understand the mortality trends among residents of Fuling District, Chongqing, before and after theCOVID-19 outbreak, and to provide references for the government to formulate disease prevention and control policies and measures. MethodsData on mortality and population in Fuling District from 2017 to 2022 were collected to analyze population mortality and standardized mortality rates, and to compare the changes in the causes of death by year and before and after the pandemic. ResultsFrom 2017 to 2022, the crude mortality rate in Fuling District showed an upward trend (APC=3.04%, P<0.05), while the standardized mortality rate showed a downward trend (APC=-6.47%, P<0.01). The mortality rate of males was higher than that of females (P<0.05), with different age groups having different causes of death composition. The highest proportion of deaths in 0-year-old group was from infectious diseases, maternal and neonatal diseases, and nutritional deficiencies, the highest proportion of deaths in the 1‒24 age group, with the exception of those aged 5‒9, was from injuries, and the main cause of death for residents aged 25 and above was chronic diseases. The mortality rate of mental and behavioral disorders rose from the 13th to the 9th place. According to the epidemic situation of COVID-19, there were no changes in the top five causes of death among the entire population. The motility rate of endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases rose from the sixth to the fifth place in male population, and the motility rate of malignant tumor rose from the 3rd to the 2nd place in female population. ConclusionThere are no changes in the top five causes of death among the entire population of Fuling District before and after the COVID-19 outbreak. Chronic diseases remain the main cause of death. It is necessary to control the risk factors for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia, and to curb the rising trend of mortality rates from strokes and acute myocardial infarction. For deaths caused by accidental injuries, targeted health education should be conducted for different populations.

Objective:To analyze the levels of antibody to measles virus in cord blood of newborns in Ankang city, and provide reference for the development of measles prevention and control measures and strategies. Methods:From January to December, 2023, 1 058 pregnant women from 10 county-level general hospitals in Ankang city were recruited in this study. Neonatal umbilical cord blood samples were collected for detecting IgG antibody against measles with ELISA. SPSS 21.0 software was used to analyze the positive rate of antibody to measles virus and the influencing factors. Results:The overall positive rate of IgG antibody to measles virus was 89.22% (944/1 058), and the geometric mean concentration (GMC) was 570.26 mlU/ml. The positive rates of IgG antibody against measles virus in umbilical cord blood of neonates born to women aged ≤20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, and ≥36 years old were 91.07% (51/56), 90.27% (232/257), 89.54% (351/392), 88.12% (230/261), and 86.96% (80/92), respectively (χ 2=1.355, P=0.852). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the positive rate of IgG antibody against measles virus in umbilical cord blood samples was higher in neonates with gestational age ≥37 weeks than in those with gestational age <37 weeks [OR (95%CI): 0.403 (0.262-0.622)]. Besides, the positive rate was also higher in newborns with a birth weight of 3.0-3.5 kg than in those with birth weight <3 kg or ≥3.5 kg [OR (95%CI): 0.868 (0.462-1.629), 1.765(1.087-2.865)]. Conclusions:The positive rate and the GMC of IgG antibody to measles virus in neonatal umbilical cord blood decrease with maternal age. It is recommended that women of childbearing age should receive supplementary immunization with measles-containing vaccine before pregnancy.

Objective:
To explore the linear associations between social support, coping strategies, depression, anxiety, and cognitive function among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) using a path-analytic method.
Methods:
This cross-sectional study enrolled 496 individuals hospitalized due to T2DM. Well-trained investigators conducted face-to-face interviews with the participants using the Social Support Rating Scale, the Chinese version of Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale, and the Mini Mental State Examination to measure social support (including objective support, subjective support, and support utilization), coping strategies (including confrontation, avoidance, and acceptance-resignation), depression/anxiety, and cognitive function, respectively. A path analysis was used to elucidate the linear associations between social support, coping strategies, depression, anxiety, and cognitive function.
Results:
In the final path model with satisfactory model fit, objective support was found to be associated with cognitive function not only directly but also indirectly through confrontation coping and depression, and acceptance-resignation coping and depression/anxiety. Further, subjective support was found to be associated with cognitive function indirectly through depression/anxiety, as well as serially through acceptance-resignation coping and depression/anxiety. Support utilization was found to be associated with cognitive function indirectly through confrontation coping and depression, as well as through acceptance-resignation coping and depression/anxiety.
Conclusion
Social support, coping strategies, depression, and anxiety were associated with cognitive function among people with T2DM, and these associations were best explained by a serial mediation model from social support, coping strategies, and depression and anxiety to cognitive function.
