To sum up integrative nursing experience of a case with chronic refractory wound formation caused by drug extravasation.The essentials of integrative nursing are:structured nursing intervention of"assessment-management-treatment"based on the Triangle of Wound Assessment;determination of the timing for integrative nursing according to the theory of TCM sores and ulcers;implementation of copper board scraping method to promote circulation of qi and blood;use of Huo-long Comprehensive Moxibustion Therapy to promote muscle regeneration.With the help of the cooperation of the multidisciplinary specialist nursing team,the wound was completely healed after 59 days of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing interventions.
2.Methyl rosmarinate induces cell apoptosis in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells via inhibiting the Akt/mTOR signaling pathways

【Objective】 To investigate the cell death-inducing effect of methyl rosmarinate (MR) on human hepatoma Hep-3B and SK-Hep1 cells and their potential mechanisms. 【Methods】 The effects of MR on the viability of Hep-3B, SK-Hep1 and MIHA cells were determined by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. The morphological changes of three kinds of cells treated with different concentrations of MR were observed by optical microscopy. EdU assay and flow cytometry were used to detect the proliferation and apoptosis of Hep-3B and SK-Hep1 cells. Transwell assay was used to study the effects of MR on the migration and invasion of Hep-3B and SK-Hep1 cells. 3.Efficacy of alcohol septal ablation in mildly symptomatic or severely symptomatic patients with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.

Objective: To compare the prognosis of mildly or severely symptomatic patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (OHCM) who underwent alcohol septal ablation (ASA). Methods: This retrospective study cohort consisted of patients with OHCM who received ASA treatment in Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University from March 2001 to August 2021. These patients were divided into mildly and severely symptomatic groups according to the severity of clinical symptoms. Long-term follow-up was conducted, and the following data were collected: duration of follow-up, postoperatire treatment, New York Heart Association (NYHA) classification, arrhythmia events and pacemaker implantation, echocardiographic parameters, and cause of death. Overall survival and survival free from OHCM-related death were observed, and the improvement of clinical symptoms and resting left ventricular outflow tract gradient (LVOTG) and the incidence of new-onset atrial fibrillation were evaluated. The Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test were used to determine and compare the cumulative survival rates of the different groups. Cox regression analysis models were used to determine predictors of clinical events. Results: A total of 189 OHCM patients were included in this study, including 68 in the mildly symptomatic group and 121 in the severely symptomatic group. The median follow-up of the study was 6.0 (2.7, 10.6) years. There was no statistical difference in overall survival between the mildly symptomatic group (5-year and 10-year overall survival were 97.0% and 94.4%, respectively) and the severely symptomatic group (5-year and 10-year overall survival were 94.2% and 83.9%, respectively, P=0.405); there was also no statistical difference in survival free from OHCM-related death between the mildly symptomatic group (5-year and 10-year survival free from HCM-related death were 97.0% and 94.4%, respectively) and the severely symptomatic group (5-year and 10-year survival free from HCM-related death were 95.2% and 92.6%, respectively, P=0.846). In the mildly symptomatic group, NYHA classification was improved after ASA (P<0.001), among which 37 patients (54.4%) were in NYHA class Ⅰ, and the resting left ventricular outflow tract gradient (LVOTG) decreased from 67.6 (42.7, 90.1) mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) to 24.4 (11.7, 35.6) mmHg (P<0.001). In severely symptomatic group, NYHA classification was also improved post ASA (P<0.001), among which 96 patients (79.3%) improved by at least one NYHA classification, and the resting LVOTG decreased from 69.6 (38.4, 96.1) mmHg to 19.0 (10.6, 39.8) mmHg (P<0.001). The incidence of new-onset atrial fibrillation was similar between the mildly and severely symptomatic groups (10.2% vs. 13.3%, P=0.565). Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that age was an independent predictor of all-cause mortality in OHCM patients post ASA (HR=1.068, 95%CI 1.002-1.139, P=0.042). Conclusions: Among patients with OHCM treated with ASA, overall survival and survival free from HCM-related death were similar between mildly symptomatic group and severely symptomatic group. ASA therapy can effectively relieve resting LVOTG and improve clinical symptoms in mildly or severely symptomatic patients with OHCM. Age was an independent predictor of all-cause mortality in OHCM patients post ASA.

4.Effect of electroacupuncture on visceral sensitivity and colonic NGF, TrkA, TRPV1 expression in IBS-D rats.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Tianshu" (ST 25) and "Shangjuxu" (ST 37) on mental state, visceral sensitivity and protein expression of nerve growth factor (NGF), tyrosine kinase receptor A (TrkA) and transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) of colonic tissue in diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) rats, and to explore its possible mechanism on treating IBS-D.
METHODS:
A total of 36 male SD rats of SPF grade were randomized into a blank group, a model group, an EA group and a western medication group, 9 rats in each group. In the model group, the EA group and the western medication group, IBS-D model was established by enema of dinitrobenzene sulfonic acid (DNBS) combined with chronic restraint stress method. In the EA group, EA was applied at "Tianshu" (ST 25) and "Shangjuxu" (ST 37), with disperse-dense wave, in frequency of 2 Hz/100 Hz, 20 min each time, once a day for 7 days. In the western medication group, pinaverium bromide suspension was given by gavage (15 mg•kg-1•d-1) for 7 days. Before and after model establishment, and after intervention, the body mass, 24 h food intake and fecal water content were observed, the visceral sensitivity was detected by abdominal withdrawal reflex (AWR); after intervention, the mental state was evaluated by elevated plus maze (EPM) test, the protein expression of NGF, TrkA and TRPV1 was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot in the 4 groups.
RESULTS:
After model establishment, compared with the blank group, the body mass and 24 h food intake were decreased (P<0.05), first systolic latency of AWR was shortened and number of contraction wave of AWR was increased (P<0.05), and fecal water content was increased (P<0.05) in the model group, the EA group and the western medication group. After intervention, compared with the blank group, open arm residence time ratio (OT%) of EPM was decreased (P<0.05) and protein expression of NGF, TrkA, TRPV1 in colonic tissue was increased in the model group (P<0.05); compared with the model group, the body mass and 24 h food intake were increased (P<0.05), first systolic latency of AWR was lengthened and number of contraction wave of AWR was decreased (P<0.05), the fecal water content was decreased (P<0.05), OT% of EPM was increased (P<0.05), and protein expression of NGF, TrkA, TRPV1 in colonic tissue was decreased (P<0.05) in the EA group and the western medication group.
CONCLUSION
Electroacupuncture at "Tianshu" (ST 25) and "Shangjuxu" (ST 37) can relieve the anxiety and depression-like behaviors in IBS-D rats, down-regulate the protein expression of NGF, TrkA, TRPV1 in colonic tissue, so as to reduce the visceral sensitivity and relieve symptoms.

5.Effect of acupuncture on intestinal flora in rats with stress gastric ulcer.

OBJECTIVE:
To observe the effect of acupuncture at "Baihui" (GV 20), "Zhongwan" (CV 12) and "Zusanli" (ST 36) on intestinal flora in rats with stress gastric ulcer (SGU) , and to explore the mechanism of acupuncture promoting SGU recovery.
METHODS:
Thirty-one SPF SD rats were randomly divided into a control group (7 rats), a model control group (8 rats), an acupuncture group (8 rats) and a medication group (8 rats). The rats in the model group, acupuncture group and medication group were selected to applied the improved restraint water-immersion stress method to establish the SGU model. After modeling, the rats in the control group and model group were fixed and restrained for 20 min every day for a total of 5 days; the rats in the acupuncture group were intervented with acupuncture at "Baihui" (GV 20), "Zhongwan" (CV 12) and "Zusanli" (ST 36), once a day, 20 min each time, and twisting needle for 30 s every 5 min for a total of 5 days; the rats in the medication group were gavaged by solution of omeprazole enteric-coated tablet (200 mg/mL), 2 mL for each rat, once a day. Guth method was used to calculate the gastric mucosal damage index (GMDI), HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes of gastric mucosa, and 16SrDNA identification was used to detect the structural abundance of intestinal flora.
RESULTS:
Compared with the control group, the GMDI of rats in the model group was increased (<0.01), the gastric mucosal pathological changes were significant, and the intestinal flora richness index Chao1, Observed species and diversity index Shannon were all decreased (<0.05), the diversity index Simpson was increased (<0.05). Compared with the model group, the GMDI of rats in the acupuncture group and medication group was reduced (<0.01, <0.05), the gastric mucosal damage degree was reduced, and the intestinal flora richness index Chao1, Observed species and diversity index Shannon were all increased (<0.05) and the diversity index Simpson decreased (<0.05). Compared with the medication group, the GMDI of rats in the acupuncture group was reduced (<0.01), the recovery of gastric mucosal injury was better than that of the medication group.
CONCLUSION
Acupuncture can effectively improve gastric mucosal injury of SGU, and the mechanism may be related to increasing the diversity of intestinal flora and promoting the correction of the disordered intestinal flora.

6.Baicalin Reduces Early Brain Injury after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage in Rats.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the effect of baicalin on subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) in rats and explore the potential mechanisms.
METHODS:
Sprague-Dawley rats underwent experimental SAH and received treatment with baicalin at 10 or 50 mg/kg after 2 and 12 h of SAH. Neurological scores, brain water content, Evans-blue extravasation, and levels of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase (SOD), myeloperoxidase (MPO), and malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured 24 h after SAH. Expression of nuclear factor erythroid-related factor 2 (Nrf2), NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), aquaporin 4 (AQP4), occludin, and zonulaoccludens-1 (ZO-1) were detected in the brain by Western blot. Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) was detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
RESULTS:
Baicalin attenuated EBI 24 h after SAH in rats (P<0.05). Baicalin elevated neurological scores, GSH-Px, SOD, and increased the expression of Nrf2, NQO1, HO-1, occludin, and ZO-1 in SAH rats (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Baicalin reduced MPO, MDA, and the expression of MMP-9, AQP4, TNF-α, and IL-1β (P<0.05 or P<0.01).
CONCLUSION
Baicalin reduced SAH-induced EBI, partially via activation of the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and inhibition of MMP-9 and AQP4.

Background:Clinical outcomes of undifferentiated arthritis (UA) are diverse,and only 40 % of patients with UA develop rheumatoid arthritis (RA) after 3 years.Discovering predictive markers at disease onset for further intervention is critical.Therefore,our objective was to analyze the clinical outcomes of UA and ascertain the predictors for RA development.Methods:We performed a prospective,multi-center study from January 2013 to October 2016 among Chinese patients diagnosed with UA in 22 tertiary-care hospitals.Clinical and serological parameters were obtained at recruitment.Follow-up was undertaken in all patients every 12 weeks for 2 years.Predictive factors of disease progression were identified using multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression.Results:A total of 234 patients were recruited in this study,and 17 (7.3%) patients failed to follow up during the study.Among the 217 patients who completed the study,83 (38.2%) patients went into remission.UA patients who developed RA had a higher rheumatoid factor (RF)-positivity (42.9% vs.16.8%,x2=8.228,P=0.008),anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) antibodypositivity (66.7% vs.10.7%,x2 =43.897,P < 0.001),and double-positivity rate of RF and anti-CCP antibody (38.1% vs.4.1%,x2 =32.131,P < 0.001) than those who did not.Anti-CCP antibody but not RF was an independent predictor for RA development (hazard ratio 18.017,95% confidence interval:5.803-55.938;P < 0.001).Conclusion:As an independent predictor of RA,anti-CCP antibody should be tested at disease onset in all patients with UA.
8.Status and suggestions for adjuvant standard for Chinese materia medica processing in China.

In this paper, the status of adjuvant standard for Chinese materia medica processing in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 edition, the National Specification of Chinese Materia Medica Processing, and the 29 provincial specification of Chinese materia medica was summarized, and the the status including general requirements, specific requirements, and quality standard in the three grade official specifications was collected and analyzed according to the "medicine-adjuvant homology" and "food-adjuvant homology" features of adjuvants. This paper also introduced the research situation of adjuvant standard for Chinese materia medica processing in China; In addition, analyzed and discussed the problems existing in the standard system of adjuvant for Chinese materia medica processing, such as lack of general requirements, low level of standard, inconsistent standard references, and lack of research on the standard, and provided suggestions for the further establishment of the national standards system of adjuvant for Chinese materia medica processing.
9.Relationship between Chemotactic Factor CCL5 and Diabet-associated Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma.

OBJECTIVETo explore whether the chemotactic factor CCL5 is the major factor of diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) induced by diabetes or not.
METHODSThe normal human B cells and DLBCL cells were cultured in vitro; the RT-PCR was used to detect their CCL5 mRNA expression, the human DLBCL cell line and mouse-derived DLBCL cell line A20 were cultured in vitro by using glucose at 5 and 30 mmol/L, respectively, then their CCL5 mRNA expression was detected by PT-PCR; the diabetic mouse model was constructed through peritoneal injection of streptozotocin at low dose in the BALB/c mice; the cell lines with stably high and low expression of CCL5 were established via lentiviral transfection and the cell lines with low and high expression of CCL5 were subcutaneously injected into diabetic mice and mice with normal blood sugar level. According to blood sugar level, the experimental mice were divided into 2 groups: diabetic group (A group) and normal blood sugar group as control (B group); then according to CCL5 expression level, the A group and B group were divided as well into high expression group (A1 group and B1 group) and low expression group (A2 group and B2 group), respectively, the tumor-formation rate, tumor-formation time, tumor size and texture were analyzed, respectively; the CCL5 expression was detected by using HE staining of tumor tissue and immunohistochemical method.
RESULTSThe expression of CCL5 mRNA in human DLBCL cell line cultured in vitro was higher than that in normal B cells (P < 0.05); the expressions of CCL5 mRNA in human DLBCL cells cultured in high sugar concentration in vitro and mouse DLBCL cells were higher than those in cells cultured in low sugar concentration (P < 0.05). The tumor-formation rates in diabetic mice injected with high and low expression of CCL5 cell line A20 were 93.3% in A1 group and 60% in A2 group; the their tumor-formation time was 7.0 ± 0.85 days in A1 group and 9.5 ± 2.8 days in A2 group, while the tumor formation rates in mice with normal blood sugar level were 20% in B1 group and 20% in B2 group, and their tumor-formation time was 12 ± 1.3 days and 14 ± 2.5 days respectively; the CCL5 expression level in tumor tissue of diabetic mice was higher than that in tumor tissue of mice with normal blood sugar level.
CONCLUSIONThe high blood glucose level can casase increase of DLBCL risk and promote the tumor growth; the chemotactic factor CCL5 may play an important role in the growth and migration of DLBCL caused by diabetes mellitus.

10.Chemical quality of Chrysanthemum morifolium cv. 'Hangju' (HJ) induced by sulfur fumigation processing.

Eight compounds from six Chrysanthemum morifolium cv. 'Hangju' were determined and multivariate statistics, including principle component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares discriminate analysis (PLS-DA) were used to investigate the potential damaging effect of sulfr-fumigating process. Meanwhile, S, Mn, Fe, Cu, Pb were also detected by using ICP-MS and ICP-OES. In this study, dramatic chemical changes were found that the contents of flavonoid aglycones remarkably increased while those of glycosides and hydroxycinnamoylquinic acids were significantly reduced. The PCA score plots showed six samples were clearly classified into the non-fumigated and sulfur-fumigated types. And according to VIP > 1, the most important chemical markers were luteolin, apigenin and luteolin-7-O-glucoside which indicated that the extracted three components might have a marked effect on the discrimination among different group samples. And then, it was found that the residue of sulfur of SHJ were significantly higher than NHJ (P < 0.05). The established approach was applied to rapidly discriminate sulfur-fumigated HJ with combining the quantitative chemical analysis and multivariate statistical analysis, and then the result will provide some evidence to evaluat the quality of HJ and control its processing.
