To deeply explore the load experience of primary caregivers of colorectal stoma patients, analyze their psychological load, understand their load experience when caring for patients, so as to provide theoretical basis for promoting patients’ home rehabilitation and continuous nursing. A semi-structured interview was conducted with the primary caregivers of 10 patients with permanent stoma in a tertiary hospital in Xi’an using a phenomenological research method, and the data were summarized and refined by Colaizzi 7-step analysis. A total of four themes were extracted: complex emotional reactions, lack of knowledge about stoma care, a huge care load on the shoulder, and social and financial support needed. The primary caregivers of colorectal stoma patients have a certain degree of care load in the daily care of the patients. Health care professionals should pay attention to the psycho-emotional changes of these individuals and take targeted interventions to reduce the psychological load of the caregivers and improve the quality of life of the patients and their caregivers.

Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)is the first virus discovered to be associated with human tumors, and its association with gastric cancer has received widespread attention in recent years. In 2014,The Cancer Genome Atlas initially classified gastric cancer into four subtypes based on molecular characteristics, with EBV positive individuals grouped into a distinct subtype known as EBV-positive gastric cancer, which has unique molecular and clinicopathological characteristics. While EBV infection in malignant gastric epithelial cells and the induction of host genetic mutations and epigenetic abnormalities were generally considered as important bases for EBV carcinogenesis, the mechanisms un-derlying the relationship between EBV infection and gastric cancer risk remain unclear. We here summarize the existing epidemiological data supporting associations between different indicators of EBV infection and gastric cancer and provide an overview of the potential roles and mechanisms of EBV in gastric cancer carcinogenesis, which is expected to offer significant guidance for future studies elucidating the rela-tionship between EBV infection and gastric cancer development.

Objective:To explore the status and influencing factors of positive feelings of caregivers of patients with enterostomy, so as to provide a reference for targeted interventions. Methods:From May to October 2021, convenience sampling was used to select 130 caregivers of patients with enterostomy who received follow-up visits in the Stoma Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University as the research subject. The survey was carried out using the General Information Questionnaire, the Positive Aspects of Caregiving (PAC) , and the Care Preparedness Scale (CPS) . A total of 130 questionnaires were distributed, and 127 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a valid recovery rate of 97.69%.Results:Among 127 caregivers of patients with enterostomy, the total score of PAC was (32.69±4.99) , and the self-affirmation dimension score was (18.39±2.84) , and the life outlook dimension score was (14.36±2.53) , and the total score of CPS was (17.76±4.36) . Multiple linear regression analysis showed that caregiver gender, education level, work status, and readiness were the influencing factors of positive feelings of caregivers of patients with enterostomy ( P<0.05) , which explained 43.7% of the total variance. Conclusions:The positive perception of caregivers of patients with enterostomy is at an upper-middle level. Nurses should formulate targeted humanistic care strategies according to the influencing factors, increase the positive feelings of caregivers, help patients adapt to the stoma as soon as possible, and then improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective:To understand the current status of HIV self-testing reagent use in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and related factors in men who have sex with men (MSM).Methods:From December 2018 to December 2019, "Gold data" online platform (www.jinshuju.com) was used to conduct multicenter PrEP studies in Shenyang, Beijing, Chongqing and Shenzhen of China. Results:A total of 1 222 MSM PrEP users were included in the multicenter study. The average age of the participants was (31.5±8.7) years, and the number of sexual partners in the past three months was 3 ( P 25, P 75:2,6). The proportions of those who did not use condoms in anal sex with fixed, casual and commercial partners were 62.7% (456/727), 56.3% (440/781) and 41.0% (16/39), respectively. Up to 74.5% (910/1 222) of participants had used HIV self-testing reagents, and the number of HIV self-testing during last year was 3 ( P 25, P 75:2,5). The multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that compared with age group >40 years, those with education level of junior high school or below, those with psychological identity as female, event driven PrEP users, those never using new type drugs in past 3 months, the participants aged 18- years (a OR=2.06, 95% CI: 1.35-3.14), 26- years (a OR=2.72, 95% CI: 1.77-4.17), 31- years (a OR=1.76, 95% CI: 1.19-2.59), undergraduates (a OR=2.18, 95% CI: 1.35-3.49), graduate students and above (a OR=3.06, 95% CI: 1.69-5.54), those with psychological identity as male (a OR=3.22, 95% CI: 1.55-6.70), daily PrEP users (a OR=1.35, 95% CI: 1.03-1.78), and new type drug users in the past three months (a OR=1.72, 95% CI: 1.30-2.28) had higher proportions of HIV self-testing behaviors. Conclusions:The proportion of HIV self-testing in MSM PrEP users was high, while it was relatively low in older age group, event driven PrEP users and MSM never using new type drugs. To assess and improve the effectiveness and compliance of PrEPs, it is necessary to provide better HIV self-testing service for MSM with low HIV self-testing rate.

Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor characterized by high morbidity and mortality. With the development of molecular biol-ogy technology and the emergence of various new omics detection techniques in recent years, molecular epidemiologists of gastric cancer have conducted extensive studies on the genetic and host factors, as well as gene-environment interactions associated with ex-posure to environmental factors in gastric cancer. In addition, epidemiologists have studied the evolution of precancerous gastric le-sions, the development of gastric cancer, and explored relevant biomarkers to provide major evidence for the prevention and control of gastric cancer. This review summarizes the latest advances in the molecular epidemiology of gastric cancer, including existing evi-dence in studies for candidate-approach-based serum/plasma biomarkers, genome-wide association, whole-exome sequencing, tissue microarrays, as well as studies on metabolomics and microbiomes. We expect to provide insights into the future of molecular epidemi-ology studies in gastric cancer, promoting etiologic research, and the precise prevention and control of gastric cancer.
