Objective:
The association between school bullying and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms among students in primary schools and the moderating role of gender was explored to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and control of school bullying.
Methods:
A total of 4 764 students from 2 primary schools in Wuhan were selected using the convenience sampling method in March 2023. The Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire were used. A Pearson χ 2 test was used to compare differences in school bullying rates among children with and without ADHD symptoms. Pearson correlation analysis and Process 3.3 were used to analyse the association between ADHD symptoms, and school bullying behaviour and the moderating role of gender.
Results:
The reported rate of bullying victims in primary schools was 24.2% and the rate of bullying perpetration was 3.8%. The rate of ADHD symptom detection among primary school students was 5.9%. ADHD symptoms were positively associated with bullying and bullying victim behaviour ( r =0.16, 0.27, P <0.01). Specifically, the association between ADHD symptoms and bullying behavior tended to be stronger among boys than girls ( β boy =0.17, t =11.13; β girl =0.07, t =4.11, P <0.01).
Conclusions
ADHD symptoms are an important factor influencing school bullying behaviors in students, and gender moderates the association. In the process of preventing and controlling school bullying, ADHD symptoms and gender differences should be emphasized and comprehensive interventions should be implemented.

Various types of industrial parks in Shanghai play an important role in promoting industrial upgrading and technological progress, yet they are also fraught with occupational health hazards. To effectively promote workplace health and enable various industrial parks to play a positive role, the Shanghai Municipal Government has proposed accelerating the construction of healthy industrial parks. To meet the requirements for the scientific and standardized construction of healthy parks, the Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention has compiled the Guidelines for Healthy Industrial Park Construction(Guidelines). Adhering to the overall principles of scientific, feasibility, advancement, and standardization, the Guidelines address three construction levels: industrial parks, employers, and employees. They set clear requirements for organizational management, healthy environments, health services, health activities, and occupational health in the workplaces, respectively. The Shanghai healthy industrial park evaluation form was provided as an informative appendix for the Guidelines. The Guidelines offer a scientific basis for standardizing and guiding the construction of healthy industrial parks, providing new solutions and technical support for urban occupational health management.

Objective:To investigate the role and underlying mechanisms of methyltransferase (Mettl) 3 in the process of angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ)-induced pericyte-to-myofibroblast transdifferentiation and renal fibrosis.Methods:C57BL/6J mice were used, in cell experiments, mouse renal pericytes were isolated and cultured using magnetic bead sorting. These pericytes were then induced to transdifferentiate into myofibroblasts with 1×10 6 mmol/L Ang Ⅱ, which was the Ang Ⅱ group, while pericytes cultured in normal conditions served as the control group. Successful transdifferentiation was verified by immunofluorescence staining, Western blotting, and real-time reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) for α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA). The levels of m6A modifications and related enzymes (Mettl3, Mettl14), Wilms tumor 1-associated protein (WTAP), fat mass and obesity protein (FTO), ALKBH5, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, YTHDC1, YTHDC2, YTHDC3 were assessed by Dot blot, RT-qPCR and Western blot. Mettl3 expression was inhibited in cells using lentivirus-mediated Mettl3-shRNA transfection, creating sh-Mettl3 and Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 groups, while lentivirus empty vector transfection served as the negative control (Ang Ⅱ+sh-NC group). The impact of Ang Ⅱ on pericyte transdifferentiation was observed, and the expression of downstream phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/AKT signaling pathway proteins, including PI3K, AKT, phosphorylated AKT at serine 473 (p-AKT (S473)), and phosphorylated AKT at threonine 308 (p-AKT (T308)), were examined. PI3K gene transcription was inhibited by co-culturing cells with actinomycin D, and the half-life of PI3K mRNA was calculated by measuring residual PI3K mRNA expression over different co-culture time. The reversibility of Mettl3 inhibition on Ang Ⅱ-induced pericyte-to-myofibroblast transdifferentiation was assessed by adding the AKT activator SC79 to the Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group. In animal experiments, mice were divided into these groups: sham group (administered 0.9% sterile saline), Ang Ⅱ group (infused with Ang Ⅱ solution), sh-Mettl3 group (injected with Mettl3 shRNA lentivirus solution), Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group (infused with Ang Ⅱ solution and injected with Mettl3 shRNA lentivirus solution), and Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3+SC79 group (administered Ang Ⅱ solution and Mettl3 shRNA lentivirus, with an additional injection of SC79). Each group consisted of six subject mice. Blood pressure was measured using the tail-cuff method before and after surgery, and serum creatinine, urea, and urinary albumin levels were determined 4 weeks post-surgery. Kidney tissues were collected at 28 days and stained using hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and Masson′s trichrome to assess the extent of renal fibrosis. Results:Primary renal pericytes were successfully obtained by magnetic bead sorting, and intervened with 1×10 6 mmol/L Ang Ⅱ for 48 hours to induce pericyte-to-myofibroblast transdifferentiation. Dot blot results indicated higher m6A modification levels in the Ang Ⅱ group compared to the control group ( P<0.05). RT-qPCR and Western blot results showed upregulation of Mettl3 mRNA and protein levels in the Ang Ⅱ group compared to the control group (both P<0.05). In the Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group, Mettl3 protein expression was lower than that in the Ang Ⅱ group, with reduced expression levels of α-SMA, vimentin, desmin, fibroblast agonist protein (FAPa) and type Ⅰ collagen (all P<0.05). Compared to the control group, PI3K mRNA expression level was elevated in the Ang Ⅱ group, along with increased p-AKT (S473) and p-AKT (T308) expressions. In the Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group, PI3K mRNA expression and p-AKT (S473) and p-AKT (T308) levels were decreased (all P<0.05). The half-life of PI3K mRNA was shorter in the Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group than that in the Ang Ⅱ+sh-NC group (2.34 h vs. 3.42 h). The ameliorative effect of Mettl3 inhibition on Ang Ⅱ-induced pericyte-to-myofibroblast transdifferentiation was reversible by SC79. Animal experiments showed higher blood pressure, serum creatinine, urea, and 24-hour urinary protein levels, and a larger fibrosis area in the Ang Ⅱ group compared to the sham group (all P<0.05). The fibrosis area was smaller in the Ang Ⅱ+sh-Mettl3 group than that in the Ang Ⅱ group ( P<0.05), but increased again upon addition of SC79. Conclusion:Mettl3-mediated RNA m6A epigenetic regulation is involved in Ang Ⅱ-induced pericyte-to-myofibroblast transdifferentiation and renal fibrosis, potentially by affecting PI3K stability and regulating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.

BACKGROUND:The threaded conical implant has a good ability to control micro movements and is conducive to immediate loading. However, the effects of double-threaded conical cylindrical implants and conical cylindrical implants on stress distribution and initial stability of implant-bone interface after immediate loading have not been reported. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the impact of double-threaded conical cylindrical implants and conical cylindrical implants on the biological distribution of the implant and the surrounding bone interface during immediate loading in the mandibular molar region. METHODS:(1)Three-dimensional finite element analysis:Conical beam CT scans of the mandible and first molar of a volunteer were used to develop a basal model of the mandible. The double-threaded conical cylindrical implants and conical cylindrical implants were assembled with the mandibular models, and an immediate-load(or delayed implantation)implant model(a total of four models)for the first mandibular molar was established.Loads in four directions(100 N):axial, lingual and buccal 45°,mesial and distal, and buccal and lingual, were applied to the central fossa of each model's crown.Three-dimensional finite element method was used to analyze the implant displacement and the stress distribution at the implant-bone interface.(2)In vitro experiment:With the assistance of the oral implant robot, the double-threaded conical cylindrical implants and conical cylindrical implants were implanted on the same artificial bone pieces, separately, and the immediate load model of immediate implant implantation(or delayed implantation)was established in vitro(a total of four groups of models).Osstell resonance frequency analyzer and SmartPeg sensor were used to measure the implant stability coefficient in four vertical directions:front, rear, left, and right measurements, evaluate the initial stability, and verify the finite element analysis results. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The displacement difference between double-threaded conical cylindrical implants and conical cylindrical implants was small when the immediate loading of delayed implantation was applied, but the maximum stress value of conical cylindrical implant-bone interface was greater than that of double-threaded conical cylindrical implant-bone interface. When the immediate loading of immediate implantation was applied, the maximum stress value and the maximum displacement of bone around the implant appeared when the load was applied in mesiodistal direction. The stress value of the conical cylindrical implant reached 298.84 MPa and the maximum displacement was 0.31 mm,both of which were larger than that of the double-threaded conical cylindrical implant.(2)The results of in vitro experiments showed that the stability coefficient of the double-threaded conical cylindrical implant was greater than that of the conical cylindrical implant.(3)Compared with the conical cylindrical implant, the double-threaded conical cylindrical implant has higher initial stability under immediate loading, suggesting that the use of double-threaded conical cylindrical implant should be given priority in clinical immediate loading.
