Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;55(11):1339-1345
Influenza virus has a continuous and extensive impact on human health around the world. Its extensive animal host characteristics and highly variable characteristics lead to continuous antigen drift and change of susceptible populations, causing repeated global influenza epidemics, and also affecting the protective effect of seasonal influenza vaccine. This research in a number of subtypes of influenza a virus, for example, from the antigenic drift of antigenicity, influence of the seasonal influenza vaccine strains and popular strain compatibility, broad-spectrum flu vaccine development train of thought, etc. summarizes the progress of relevant research, to deepen the understanding of the influenza virus antigenic evolution, provide reference for flu vaccine development in the future.

Objective:
To discuss the characteristics of symptoms improvement based on the follow-up evaluation of Eustachian tube balloon dilation medium to long-term efficacy in patients with symptomatic Eustachian tube dysfunction (SETD).
Methods:
Patients from 2015 to 2017 were followed up after Eustachian tube balloon dilation (with the sense of aural fullness, or tinnitus and hearing ambiguity). All participants had been done ETDQ-7 before surgery and were re-evaluated with ETDQ-7 in follow-up. The improvement of overall and individual symptoms scores in ETDQ-7, the effects of gender and the difference of scores at different stages (12-18 months, 18-24 months and 24-30 months) after the operation were analyzed.
Results:
There were 29 patients, including 16 males and 13 females, whose age ranged from 20 to 62 years old. The medium to long-term score of ETDQ-7 significantly declined after surgery (27.0±7.9

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(11):1633-1637
Objective:
To understand sexual and reproductive health (SRH) knowledge and access to sexual health information among pupils in higher grades, and to provide the scientific basis for conducting sexual education in family and school.
Methods:
A total of 1 098 pupils in grade four and five from 4 primary schools in a county, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province were selected for an anonymous computer assisted self-interview to get the information, including sexual and reproductive information and its sources, the condition about getting sexual education from school and family, and so on.
Results:
The percentage of correct answers about boy’s and girl’s puberty changes ranged from 15%~54%, and about reproduction and physiology ranges from 14%~70%. The awareness of private body parts ranged from 59%~98%. About 70%~95% could correctly identify sexual abuse scenes. The average score for knowledge on puberty changes, reproduction and physiology, identification of private body and identification of sexual abuse scenes was 31.89, 38.21, 77.03, and 85.72, with total average score of 58.21. In general, girls and students from urban areas or in grade five had higher knowledge level than boys and students from rural areas or in grade four did (P<0.05). Participants mainly obtained SRH knowledge from their mother(63.02%), father(40.53%) and teachers(27.50%). Girls and students from urban areas or in grade five reported higher proportion in access to information on human development, puberty development and health care, self-protection from parents and school teachers than boys and students from rural areas or in grade four(P<0.05).
Conclusion
Pupils in higher grades lacked SRH knowledge. It is necessary to raise awareness among school teachers and parents about the importance of providing sexuality education for pupils.

Objective To investigate the effect of Athos intelligent sportswear combined with MOTOmed intelligent sports training system for substituting partial artificial rehabilitation treatment on upper limb function and activities of daily living in the patients with stroke hemiplegia. Methods Forty-eight patients were randomly divided into the intelligent treatment group(IT) and conventional treatment(CT).The CT group adopted the routine rehabilitation treatment, and the IT group adopted the treatments of Athos intelligent sportswear combined with MOTOmed intelligent sports training system instead of passive motor training for upper extremities, flexion assistive motion training, flexion active anti-resistance training and antispasm exercise training by rehabilitation therapists. The correlation analysis between the biceps Lovett myodynamia testing results and Athos intelligent sportswear myodynamia testing results was conducted before treatment. The Fugl-Meyer assessment of upper extremity(FMA-UE) and Barthel index(BI) of activities of daily living(ADL) were assessed after 1-month and 3-month treatment. Results Thebiceps Lovett myodynamia testing results in 44 cases had significantly positive correlation with the Athos intelligent sportswear muscular strength monitoring results(r=0.929,P<0.01).The FMA-UE and BI scores at 1,3 months of tratment in the two groups were all significantly increased compared with before tratment(P<0.01).However,the intergroup difference after tratment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Applying the Athos intelligent sportswear combined with MOTOmed movement therapy system for substituting partial manual tratment by rehebilitation therapist does not reduce the clinical effect and is conducive to alleviate the one-to-one manual training burden of rehabilitation therapists.

Objective To investigate lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced changes of cytoskeletal filamentous actin in primary isolated pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMVECs) from wild-type and RAGE knock-out mouse. Methods The lungs of wild-type and RAGE knock-out mice were digested with collagenase type I to obtain endothelial cells purified by anti-CD31-coupled magnetic beads. The PMVEC identified by factor VIII labeling were stimulated with LPS at different concentrations and the changes of filamentous actin were observed by confocal microscopy. Results The cultured primary cells showed typical endothelial cell phenotype as examined with factor VIII labeling. LPS stimulation caused rearrangement of the cytoskeletal filament F-actin in wild-type mouse PMVECs with stress fiber formation, but such changes were not obvious in RAGE knock-out mouse PMVECs. Conclusion Mouse PMVECs of a high purity can be obtained by immune magnetic beads. RAGE is involved in LPS-induced destruction of mouse PMVEC cytoskeletons.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2012;28(2):117-120
ObjectiveTo investigate the characteristics of left ventricular structural damage in patients with primary aldosteronism(PA).MethodsA total of 438 inpatients with hypertension from January 2007 to June 2010 were screened for PA,and diagnosis was made in 213 PA patients and 225 patients with essential hypertension (EH).The left ventricular structure of all subjects was evaluated according to the results of echocardiographic measurements. Results The duration of hypertension and plasma aldosterone level in patients with PA were significantly higher (P< 0.01 ),while the serum potassium and plasma renin activity were significantly lower (P<0.01 ) than those in patients with EH.The interventricular septum thickness, left ventricular end-diastolic dimension, left ventricular mass index (LVMI),left ventricular end-diastolic volume, and stroke volume in patients with PA were significantly higher than those in EH patients( P<0.01 ) after the duration of hypertension was corrected. In patients with PA,the prevalence of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) was higher than that in EH patients ( 53.1% vs 33.8 %,x2 =16.57,P < 0.01 ). Normal left ventricular geometry ( NG ),concentric remodeling ( CCR ),concentric hypertrophy( CCH),and eccentric hypertrophy (ECH) were found respectively in 24.9%,22.1%,22.1%,and 30.9% of patients with PA.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the seated plasma aldosterone level (β=0.43,P < 0.01 ) and systolic blood pressure (β =0.45,P < 0.01 ) were the main factors that influenced LVMI.The course was the main parameter that influenced relative wall thickness(β=0.011,P<0.05 ).Conclusion The prevalence of LVH is higher in patients with PA than that in EH patients. The eccentric hypertrophy is the most common left ventricular geometrical pattern in patients with PA.
