The MAPK signaling pathway can mediate a variety of cytokines to participate in the processes of inflammation, cancer, immune disorder, and neurodegenerative diseases, and it also plays an important role in the development and progression of hepatic echinococcosis. This article reviews the structure and regulation of the MAPK signaling pathway and elaborates on the role of the MAPK signaling pathway in hepatic echinococcosis. It is pointed out that the MAPK signaling pathway can activate both the cyst and the host in hepatic echinococcosis, participate in the development and progression of the disease, and exert an impact on its treatment. Drug therapy targeting the MAPK signaling pathway is expected to become a new strategy for the treatment of hepatic echinococcosis.

The construction and operation of the hospital-wide radiation protection management information system is of great significance for improving the efficiency and quality of radiation protection management. A hospital has built a hospital-wide radiation protection management system, which consisted of four modules: radiation staff management module, protection items management module, site and equipment management module, and self-inspection module. The system adopted B/S mode, carried the lightweight J2EE framework-SpringBoot framework, and used mybatis, which was flexible and practical, as the persistence layer of the system, to store the data completely in the SQLServer database.Java language was used as the system development language, and the front and back-end separation architecture was used. Each of the four modules implemented the management responsibility departments and responsible personnel to carry out the all-round management of radiation protection, and realized the integrated, information-based and standardized management of radiation protection management in the hospital.

Objective To analyze the factors affecting the prognosis of patients with primary tracheal malignancy, and establish a nomogram model for prediction its prognosis. Methods A total of 557 patients diagnosed with primary tracheal malignancy from 1975 to 2016 in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Data were collected. The factors affecting the overall survival rate of primary tracheal malignancy were screened and modeled by univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis. The nomogram prediction model was performed by R 3.6.2 software. Using the C-index, calibration curves and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve to evaluate the consistency and predictive ability of the nomogram prediction model. Results The median survival time of 557 patients with primary tracheal malignancy was 21 months, and overall survival rates of the 1-year, 3-year and 5-year were 59.1%±2.1%, 42.5%±2.1%, and 35.4%±2.2%. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that age, histology, surgery, radiotherapy, tumor size, tumor extension and the range of lymph node involvement were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with primary tracheal malignancy (P<0.05). Based on the above 7 risk factors to establish the nomogram prediction model, the C-index was 0.775 (95%CI 0.751-0.799). The calibration curve showed that the prediction model established in this study had a good agreement with the actual survival rate of the 1 year, 3 year and 5 years. The area under curve of 1-year, 3-year and 5-year predicting overall survival rates was 0.837, 0.827 and 0.836, which showed that the model had a high predictive power. Conclusion The nomogram prediction model established in this study has a good predictive ability, high discrimination and accuracy, and high clinical value. It is useful for the screening of high-risk groups and the formulation of personalized diagnosis and treatment plans, and can be used as an evaluation tool for prognostic monitoring of patients with primary tracheal malignancy.

Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of endovascular interventional treatment of the intracranial vertebrobasilar trunk large aneurysms (VBTLAs) compared with conservative treatment. Methods:This is a prospective multi-center cohort study. From October 2012 to October 2018, a total of 69 patients with intracranial vertebrobasilar trunk large aneurysm (diameter>10 mm) from Henan Province People's Hospital and People's Liberation Army Rocket Medical Center were included in this study. Patients themselves chose either endovascular interventional therapy (interventional group) or conservative treatment (conservative group) after discussion with their doctors. The χ 2 test was used to compare the incidence of deaths, stroke, and all other serious adverse events including other site bleeding, myocardial infarction and others between the two groups. Results:A total of 69 patients were enrolled, of whom 51 patients were enrolled in interventional group, 18 patients underwent endovascular reconstructive therapy, 11 patients underwent deconstructive therapy, and 4 patients underwent conjunction interventional treatments. Eighteen patients were enrolled in conservative group, of whom 11 cases received simple risk factor control, 7 cases received antiplatelet and risk factors control. The proportions of hypertensive patients 94.4% (17/18) and giant aneurysms 50.0% (9/18) in the conservative group were higher than those in the surgery group 64.7% (33/51, χ 2=4.500, P=0.034), 19.6% (10/51, χ 2=4.730, P= 0.030).The incidence of all serious adverse events associated with protocol was 15.7% (8/51) in the interventional group and 44.4% (8/18) in the conservative group [risk ratio (RR) =0.353, 95% confidence intervals (CI): 0.156-0.801], and the difference was significant (χ 2=4.668, P=0.031). The incidence of fatal events associated with protocol was 2.0% (1/51) in the interventional group and 38.9% (7/18) in the conservative group (RR=0.050, 95%CI: 0.007-0.382), and the difference was significant (χ 2=14.281, P<0.001). The incidence of hemorrhage events associated with protocol was 2.0% (1/51) in the interventional group and 22.2% (4/18) in the conservative group (RR=0.088, 95%CI: 0.011-0.738), and the difference was significant (χ 2 =5.391, P=0.020). Follow-up imaging showed that the occlusion rate of aneurysms in 44 patients in the interventional group was 56.8% (25/44) after a median follow-up of 6 months. Imaging follow-up was obtained in 9 patients, whose occlusion rate of aneurysms was 0 and the median follow-up time was 12 months, in the conservative group. The difference was significant(χ 2 =7.534, P=0.006). Conclusion:Compared with conservative treatment, endovascular intervention of the intracranial VBTLAs has lower incidences of serious adverse events and death events.

Objective To investigate the incidence and predictors of cerebral infarction in patients with ruptured ACoA aneurysms, and to provide diagnostic and therapeutic information. Methods A total of 319 patients with ruptured ACoA aneurysms in our hospital from January 2009 to February 2015 were reviewed in this study. The author collected data regarding clinical characteristics, and measured the aneurysm morphologies on CTA images. Age, flow angle, vessel angle were analyzed by independent-samples t tests in patients with or without cerebral infarction. Mann-Whitney U tests were used for aneurysm size, aneurysm height, perpendicular height, neck size, size ratio, aspect ratio, aneurysm angle , World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS) grade at admission and Fisher grade. Chi-square tests and Fisher's exact tests were used for sex, histories of hypertension, smoking and stroke, treatment modalities, anterior cerebral A1 segment configuration and angiographic vasospasm on CTA images. The multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to determine the independent risk factors of cerebral infarction using the stepwise regression method. Results Of the 319 patients, there were 253 without and 66 patients with cerebral infarction. Differences of age(53±11 vs 57±12,respectively;t=-2.415, P=0.016), Fisher grade [Ⅰ 23(9.1%), Ⅱ 27(10.7%), Ⅲ 74(29.2%), Ⅳ 129(51.0%) vs Ⅰ 1(1.5%), Ⅱ 7 (10.6% ), Ⅲ 13(19.7% ), Ⅳ 45(68.2% ), respectively;Z=-2.541, P=0.035] and treatment modalities [endovascular coil embolization 155(61.3% ), neurosurgical clipping 98(38.7% ) vs endovascular coil embolization 23(34.8%), neurosurgical clipping 43(65.2%), respectively;χ2=14.810, P<0.001] reached statistical significance. Multivariate analysis showed that Fisher grade Ⅳ(OR=10.36,95%CI 1.34-80.29, P=0.025) and neurosurgical clipping (OR=3.28, 95% CI 1.84-5.86,P<0.001)still had statistical significance. Conclusions Cerebral infarction in patients with ruptured ACoA aneurysms may be associated with Fisher grade and treatment modalities. Although there is difference between the two groups in age, it is not a predictor of the occurrence of cerebral infarction.

Objective:
To detect the presence of HPV associated antibodies in the serum of patients diagnosed with esophageal cancer in Chaoshan region and to provide data that could possibly be used as reference for the monitoring of patients with esophageal cancer.
Methods:
The pSecTag recombinant vectors containing the HPV16 E6/E7 and HPV18 E6/E7 genes were constructed respectively to express HPV16 E6/E7 and HPV18 E6/E7 fusion proteins in 293 cell line after transfecting the cell line. Immunoenzymatic method was employed with the fusion proteins as antigen to detect IgG antibody against HPV in serum of 76 esophageal cancer patients and 149 normal persons undergoing health checkup. In addition, the same sera were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method using L1 as antigen.
Results:
Only one esophageal cancer patient’s serum presented as positive for IgG by immunoenzyme technique when E6/E7 was used as antigen. However, when the L1 was used as antigen in ELISA assay, 37 of the 76 cases of esophageal cancer patients (48.7%) were HPV antibody-positive. Among the 149 health checkup persons, 79 (53.0%) were HPV antibody-positive. No significant difference was found between the two groups (
