		                        			 Background:
and Purpose Ruptured intracranial aneurysms (RIA) are associated with a mortality rate of up to 40% in the Chinese population, highlighting the critical need for targeted treatment interventions for at-risk individuals. Although the impact of aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) gene mutations on susceptibility to intracranial aneurysms (IA) is well documented, the potential connection between ALDH2 rs671 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and RIA remains unexplored. Given the increased prevalence of ALDH2 gene mutations among Chinese Han individuals, it is clinically relevant to investigate the link between ALDH2 rs671 SNP and IA rupture.

		                        			Methods:
A prospective study was conducted on 546 patients diagnosed with IA to investigate the association between ALDH2 rs671 SNP and the risk of IA rupture.

		                        			Results:
The ALDH2 rs671 SNP (ALDH2*2) was significantly more prevalent in patients with unruptured IA (UIA) than in those with RIA (32.56% vs. 18.58%, P=0.004). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that people with the ALDH2 mutation (ALDH2*1/*2 and ALDH2*2/*2 gene type) had a significantly reduced odds ratio (OR=0.49; 95% confidence level [CI] 0.27–0.88; P=0.018) for RIAs. Age-specific subgroup analysis indicated that the ALDH2 mutation provided a stronger protective effect in individuals aged 60 years and above with IA compared to those under 60 years old (OR=0.38 vs. OR=0.52, both P<0.05).

		                        			Conclusion
The incidence of RIA was significantly higher in individuals with a normal ALDH2 gene (ALDH2*1/*1) than in those with an ALDH2 rs671 SNP (ALDH2*1/*2 or ALDH2*2/*2). ALDH2 rs671 SNP may serve as a protective factor against RIA in the Chinese Han population.

Hepatic fibrosis is a pathological process of chronic liver injury. Without timely intervention and treatment, liver fibrosis may eventually lead to liver cirrhosis and cancer. Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling pathway is closely associated with the occurrence and development of liver fibrosis. Based on this, this paper summarized and analyzed the mechanism and effects of active ingredients and compounds of traditional Chinese medicine improving liver fibrosis based on JAK/STAT signaling pathway. It is found that the active ingredients and compounds of traditional Chinese medicine that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis (ingredients such as ethanol extract of Euonymus alatus and paclitaxel, as well as compounds such as Ershiwuwei songshi pill and Ganfukang), clear away heat and toxic material (ingredients such as betulinic acid, total flavonoids from Persicaria perfoliata, as well as compounds such as Pianzaihuang and Kehuang capsules), and sooth the liver and promote qi circulation (ingredients such as fraxetin and cucurbitacin B, as well as compounds such as Chaihu shugan powder and Xiaochaihu decoction) can all relieve liver fibrosis by inhibiting the activity of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, reducing inflammatory reactions, and inhibiting the proliferation of hepatic stellate cells.

Objective:To develop and evaluate a medical experience assessment scale for debridement and dressing change in chronic wound patients in China, and to provide a reference for improving hospital service quality. Methods:Based on the framework of hospital consumer assessment of healthcare providers and systems survey (HCAHPS) in the United States, a preliminary draft of the scale was formed through a literature review and qualitative interviews with 12 chronic wound patients (7 males and 5 females aged 58.1±12.3 years). Five experts were invited for content validity testing, and 191 chronic wound patients (111 males and 80 females aged 53.5±19.1 years) were selected to evaluate the internal consistency reliability, half reliability, retest reliability, and structural validity of the scale. Results:The Chronic Wound Patient Debridement and Dressing Experience Scale covered 5 dimensions with 30 sub-items and 2 comprehensive evaluation items, including demand response, good and friendly communication, professional trust, optimization of the medical treatment process, and encouragement of patient participation. The scale Cronbach′s α coefficient was 0.967 and ranged from 0.890 to 0.962 for each dimension. The overall retest reliability of the scale was 0.940 and ranged from 0.895 to 0.940 for each dimension. The overall half reliability of the scale was 0.923 and ranged from 0.834 to 0.935 for each dimension. 5 factors were extracted, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 82.061%.Conclusions:Based on the HCAHPS framework in the United States, the Chronic Wound Debridement and Dressing Experience Scale developed has high reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate the dressing change experience of patients with chronic wounds. It has clinical practice significance for dressing change in chronic wounds.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of combined fascia sheath suspension (CFS) and frontalis muscle flap suspension in the treatment of severe congenital blepharoptosis. Methods:We searched PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library, web of science and Chinese Hownet, Wanfang, VIP, CBM and other databases to collect randomized and non-randomized controlled trials comparing the efficacy of CFS and frontalis muscle flap suspension in the treatment of severe congenital ptosis, from the establishment of literature retrieval database to March 2020; two researchers used RevMan 5.3 software to select and exclude the literature, extract the data and evaluate the quality, set up appropriate effect index and conduct Meta-analysis.Results:Eleven studies included 661 patients, There were 312 cases in study group and 349 cases in control group. The results of Meta analysis showed that the OR of the two groups was 4.88 with 95% CI (2.69, 8.85); the OR of failure rate was 0.20, with 95% CI (0.11, 0.37); the OR of complications was 0.22, with 95% CI (0.14, 0.34). All three groups of data were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The available evidence shows that the combined fascia sheath suspension (CFS) is effective in the treatment of severe congenital blepharoptosis compared with frontalis muscle flap suspension, but the complications of CFS are lower and the satisfaction is higher; these findings have yet to be validated by more high-quality studies due to limitations in the quality and quantity of studies included.

Background::Joint dislocations significantly impact public health. However, a comprehensive study on the incidence, distribution, and risk factors for joint dislocations in China is lacking. We conducted the China National Joint Dislocation Study, which is a part of the China National Fracture Study conducted to obtain the national incidence and risk factors for traumatic fractures, and to investigate the incidence and risk factors for joint dislocations.Methods::For this national retrospective epidemiological study, 512,187 participants were recruited using stratified random sampling and probability-proportional-to-size method from January 19 to May 16, 2015. Participants who sustained joint dislocations of the trunk, arms, or legs (skull, sternum, and ribs being excluded) in 2014 were personally interviewed to obtain data on age, educational background, ethnic origin, occupation, geographic region, and urbanization degree. The joint-dislocation incidence was calculated based on age, sex, body site, and demographic factors. The risk factors for different groups were examined using multiple logistic regression.Results::One hundred and nineteen participants sustained 121 joint dislocations in 2014. The population-weighted incidence rate of joint dislocations of the trunk, arms, or legs was 0.22 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.16, 0.27) per 1000 population in 2014 (men, 0.27 [0.20, 0.34]; women, 0.16 [0.10, 0.23]). For all ages, previous dislocation history (male: OR 42.33, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 12.03–148.90; female: OR 54.43, 95% CI: 17.37–170.50) and alcohol consumption (male: OR 3.50, 95% CI: 1.49–8.22; female: OR 2.65, 95% CI: 1.08–6.50) were risk factors for joint dislocation. Sleeping less than 7 h/day was a risk factor for men. Compared with children, women aged ≥15 years (female 15–64 years: OR 0.16, 95% CI: 0.04–0.61; female ≥65 years: OR 0.06, 95% CI: 0.01–0.41) were less likely to sustain joint dislocations. Women with more than three children were at higher dislocation risk than women without children (OR 6.92, 95% CI: 1.18–40.78).Conclusions::The up-to-date data on joint dislocation incidence, distribution, and risk factors can be used as a reference for national healthcare, prevention, and management in China. Specific strategies for decreasing alcohol consumption and encouraging adequate sleeping hours should be developed to prevent or reduce dislocation incidents.Trial Registration::Chinese Clinical Trial Registry, ChiCTR-EPR-15005878.

[Abstract] Objective: To explore the expression patterns of melanoma lineage antigens and nuclear antigen Ki-67 and their correlations
with survival in melanoma patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted to analyze the pathological data of melanoma
patients treated at the Department of Melanoma, Peking University Cancer Hospital from February 2008 to August 2020, mainly
including the expression patterns of melanoma lineage antigens (S-100, HMB-45, Melan-A) and Ki-67, demographics, clinical features
and survival. The correlation between expression patterns of melanoma lineage antigens, Ki-67 and melanoma-specific survival (MSS)
was analyzed. Results: In total, 603 patients were included in this study. The median follow-up time was 47.4 months. The positive
rates of S-100, HMB, and Melan-A were 92.8%, 92.1% and 90.0%, respectively. The percentages of patients with melanoma lineage antigen scores
(S-100, HMB-45 and Melan-A was scored each, as 1 when positive and 0 when negative) of 0, 1, 2, and 3 were 0.5%, 5.0%, 15.6%, and
78.8%, respectively. The percentages of patients with Ki-67 scores of 0, 1, 2, and 3 were 43.0%, 36.3%, 16.3%, and 4.5%, respectively.
Ki-67 was highly expressed in mucosal and progressive melanomas. In a multivariate analysis, Ki-67 expression was an independent
prognostic factor for poorer MSS (HR=1.506, 95%CI: 1.248-1.818, P<0.001) as the incidence of MSS event increased by 50% per 25%
increase in Ki-67 expression, whereas there was no statistical correlation between melanoma lineage antigen expression and MSS
(HR=0.991, 95%CI: 0.759-1.293, P=0.94). Conclusion: High expressions melanoma lineage antigens are ubiquitous in melanoma
tissues, and Ki-67 is an independent prognostic factor for MSS.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of juvenile-onset ankylosing spondylitis. Methods:Clinical data of 350 cases of ankylosing spondylitis diagnosed in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital from January 2014 to December 2019 were collected. There were 75 cases with the symptom onset in age ≤16 years (juvenile-onset ankylosing spondylitis, JoAS), and 275 cases with the symptom onset in age>16 years (adult-onset ankylosing spondylitis, AoAS). The clinical characteristics of two groups were analyzed. Results:Compared with AoAS, JoAS had a higher proportion of males [98.7% (74/75) vs. 79.6% (219/275); χ 2=15.65, P<0.01] and longer course of disease [11(8,15) vs. 8(4,15) years; Z=-3.09, P<0.01]. Compared with AoAS, JoAS was more prone to have peripheral joint swelling and pain [45.3%(34/75) vs. 18.9%(52/275), χ 2=22.20, P<0.01], hip pain [26.7%(20/75) vs. 15.3%(42/275), χ 2=5.25, P=0.03] or heel pain [9.3%(7/75) vs. 2.9%(8/275), χ 2=5.93, P=0.02] as the first clinical manifestation. Compared with AoAS, JoAS had a higher incidence of radiological hip involvement [77.3%(58/75) vs. 43.3%(119/275), OR=4.71, Wald=25.60, P<0.01], lower bone mineral density than peers [34.7%(26/75) vs. 23.3%(64/275), OR=2.23, Wald=7.20, P<0.01], higher incidence of malnutrition [25.3%(19/75) vs. 13.8%(38/275), OR=2.16, Wald=5.84, P=0.02] and higher incidence of acute uveitis [17.3%(13/75) vs. 6.5%(18/275), OR=2.72, Wald=6.24, P=0.01] after adjusting the course of disease. Conclusion:Compared with adult-onset ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile-onset ankylosing spondylitis is more prone to have peripheral joint swelling or hip pain as the first clinical manifestation; the radiological hip involvement, lower bone mineral density than peers, malnutrition and uveitis are more likely to occur.

Objective To investigate the effect of platelet-rich plasma(PRP) on starting of AnxA1 gene and PPARγ gene of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) in rabbit. Methods Epididymal adipose tissue stem cells from New Zealand white rabbits, and the cells identified by morphology and inducing differentiation, the cells were cultured to the fourth generation,PRP and PPP (platelet-poor plasma) were prepared by traditional centrifugal method from abdominal aortic of rabbit;ADSCs were cultured in culture medium containing PRP (experimental group),PPP (control group) and all medium (blank group) for each 5% for 24 h,48h and 72 h.Cells of each group were dissociated and total RNA extracted.AnxA1 gene and PPARγ gene were detected by RT-PCR.Results Primary ADSCs of rabbit grew in the way of long spindle swirly. The results of oil red O and alizarin red staining of the ADSCs were positive.AnxA1 gene and PPARγ gene of experimental group significantly increased from the result of RT-PCR (P<0.05).Conclusions PRP can promote proliferation of the ADSCs of rabbit and increase the expression of AnxA1 gene and PPARγ gene significantly.
