ObjectiveTo investigate the inhibitory effects and mechanism of the compound Phyllanthus urinaria Ⅱ （CPU Ⅱ）on the growth of transplanted hepatocellular carcinoma Hep3B2.1-7 （Short for Hep3R） cells in nude mice. MethodAfter the establishment of a xenograft model of hepatocellular carcinoma Hep3B cells in mice， the model mice were randomly divided into a model group， a high-dose CPU Ⅱ group （57.5 g·kg^-1）， a low-dose CPU Ⅱ group （28.75 g·kg^-1）， and a 5-fluorouracil （5-FU） group （0.025 g·kg^-1）， with eight mice in each group. The mice in the high- and low-dose CPU Ⅱ groups were treated with drugs by gavage， once per day， and those in the model group were treated with the same volume of normal saline. The mice in the 5-FU group were treated by 5-FU by intraperitoneal injection， once every other day. After 28 days of administration， mice were sacrificed， and transplanted tumors were collected. Immunohistochemistry （IHC） was used to detect the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen （PCNA） of tumor tissues. Terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling （TUNEL） was used to detect cell apoptosis of tumor tissues. The mRNA expression of miR-122 and insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor （IGF-1R） in tumor tissues was detected by Real-time quantitative PCR （Real-time PCR）. The protein expression of CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein α （C/EBPα）， hepatocyte nuclear factor-4α （HNF-4α）， and IGF-1R in tumor tissues was detected by Western blot. ResultThe tumor suppression rates of the high- and low-dose CPU Ⅱ groups and the 5-FU group were 74.90%， 63.62%， and 64.15%， respectively. Compared with the model group， the CPU Ⅱ groups and the 5-FU group showed reduced weight （P<0.01） and volume of tumors （P<0.01）， decreased PCNA positive cells， shallow staining， increased apoptosis cells of transplanted tumor tissues （P<0.05， P<0.01）， increased expression of mRNA expression of miR-122 （P<0.01）， down-regulated mRNA expression of IGF-1R （P<0.01）， and up-regulated protein expression of C/EBPα and HNF-4α in nude mouse transplanted tumor tissues （P<0.01）. The expression of IGF-1R protein in the high-dose CPU Ⅱ group was down-regulated （P<0.05）. Compared with the low-dose CPU Ⅱ group， the high-dose CPU Ⅱ group showed increased apoptotic cells （P<0.01）， up-regulated mRNA expression of miR-122 （P<0.01）， and increased expression of C/EBPα and HNF-4α proteins （P<0.01）. ConclusionCPU Ⅱ has an obvious inhibitory effect on the growth of transplanted hepatocellular carcinoma Hep3B cells in nude mice. The mechanism of action is related to enhancing the expression of transcription factors HNF-4α and C/EBPα， thereby promoting the expression of miR-122 and inhibiting the expression of its target gene IGF-1R.

Objective:To investigate the clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, and future sex selection in patients with partial androgen insensitivity syndrome (PAIS).Methods:Retrospective analysis of clinical data of three patients with PAIS who received treatment in The Third Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical University, Beijing Ditan Hospital of Capital Medical University, and Beijing Yayuncun Amcare Women's and Children's Hospital from 2013 to 2015 was conducted. Physical signs, specialized examinations, surgical explorations, and treatments were analyzed. The Chinese database was searched, and 12 cases of PAIS were collected and summarized.Results:Fifteen patients with PAIS presented with primary amenorrhea (15/15). Special clinical manifestations included gender as male or appearing as male (5/15), penile dysplasia or clitoral hypertrophy (14/15), urethral dysplasia (5/15), and breast development (4/15). Eleven cases were treated based on female gender (including surgery and hormone replacement therapy). There were three special patients with PAIS who had specific etiology, genetics, clinical manifestations, histopathology, diagnosis, and treatment and ultimately underwent treatment based on female gender.Conclusion:PAIS is a rare form of disorder of sex development, featuring a karyotype of 46, XY, and is a congenital X-linked recessive condition. Understanding the pathogenesis of PAIS more thoroughly can contribute to accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment, and well-organized follow-up, thereby preventing gender dysphoria.

Objective: To determine the current prevalence of health risk behaviors among college students in Henan Province, and to conduct an in depth analysis of the impact of cumulative ecological risks on health risk behaviors, so as to provide scientific basis for promoting healthy development of adolescents. Methods: Using a multi stage stratified cluster sampling method, 9 743 college students from six universities in Henan Province were included as the research subjects from April to June 2023. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the College Student Cumulative Ecological Risk Scale and the China Urban Adolescent Health Related Behavior Survey Questionnaire (University Version). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, Chi square test and binary Logistic regression. Results: The reporting rates of unhealthy eating behavior, unhealthy weight loss behaviors, lack of physical activity, daily risk behaviors, negative emotions, current smoking behavior current drinking behaviors, Internet addiction emotions and dangerous sexual behaviors among college students in Henan Province were 40.2%, 39.5%, 76.0%, 13.7%, 28.1%, 11.3%, 12.7%, 5.9% and 2.2%, respectively. The reporting rates of negative emotions, current smoking behaviors, current drinking behaviors, dangerous sexual behaviors and daily risk behaviors of college students were higher in boys than in girls ( χ 2=44.00, 995.20, 902.49, 121.95, 103.09, P <0.05). In terms of reporting rates of unhealthy diet, unhealthy weight loss and lack of exercise behavior, girls were higher than boys ( χ 2=107.59, 13.01, 145.83, P <0.05). Cumulative ecological risk was positively correlated with overall health risk behaviors. For every unit increase in the cumulative ecological risk index, the risk of health risk behaviors among college students increased by 48%. Conclusions The prevalence of health risk behaviors among college students is relatively common. It should adrocate for a healthy lifestyle, reduce the cumulative ecological risk and the occurrence of health risk behaviors to promote the healthy development of adolescents.

Objective To explore the predictive value of the expression of CD44v6 and EGFR on the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in stageⅡ-Ⅲ cervical cancer. Methods A total of 53 patients with stageⅡ-Ⅲ cervical cancer diagnosed by pathology were selected. All patients received two cycles of paclitaxel+platinum NACT. The pathological tissue samples of cervical tumors before NACT treatment were collected. The expression of CD44v6 and EGFR were detected by the immunohistochemical SP method, and we analyzed their predictive value of NACT in stageⅡ-Ⅲ cervical cancer. Results Among the 53 patients, 38 were in the NACT effective group (CR+PR), and 15 were in the NACT ineffective group (SD+PD). The expression of CD44v6 in the ineffective group was significantly higher than that in the effective group (P < 0.05). The expression of CD44v6 was significantly different in patients with CR, PR, and SD (P < 0.05). The AUC of CD44v6 to NACT effect on stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ cervical cancer was 0.74 (P < 0.05). The patients in the high expression group of CD44v6 had worse efficacy in NACT than those in the low expression group of CD44v6 (P < 0.05). Pearson test showed that CD44v6 and EGFR expression were correlated (R=0.34, P < 0.05). Conclusion High expression of CD44v6 may reduce the efficacy of NACT in stageⅡ-Ⅲ cervical cancer, suggesting that the expression of CD44v6 has a certain predictive value and clinical significance in the efficacy of paclitaxel+platinum NACT on cervical cancer. Moreover, CD44v6 is positively correlated with EGFR expression.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Fuzitang （FZT） on the proliferation of MH7A cells， the human rheumatoid arthritis synovial fibroblasts， and the expression of miR-155 and explore its anti-rheumatoid arthritis mechanism. MethodMH7A cells were cultured in vitro and divided into a blank group， high- （25 g·L^-1） and low-dose （12.5 g·L^-1） FZT groups， and a positive drug group （hydroxychloroquine， 0.006 25 g·L^-1）. The cell proliferation was detected by cell counting kit-8（CCK-8） method， and the change in the MH7A cell cycle was detected by flow cytometry. The mRNA expression of miR-155 and its downstream genes， including SH2 domain-containing inositol 5-phosphatase-1（SHIP-1）， protein kinase B 3（Akt3）， and mammalian target of rapamycin（mTOR）， was detected by Real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction（Real-time PCR）， and the protein expression of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase （PI3K）， Akt3， and mTOR was detected by Western blot. ResultFZT in vitro in a concentration of 6.25 g·L^-1 above could inhibit the proliferation of MH7A cells in the significant dose- and time-effect manner. Compared with the blank group， the FZT groups showed increased proportions of cells in the G₂/M phase （P<0.05）， and the high-dose FZT group showed a decreased proportion of cells in the G₀/G₁ phase （P<0.05）. The arresting effect of FZT on the cell cycle was in a significant dose-effect manner. Compared with the blank group， the FZT groups showed down-regulated miR-155 and mTOR mRNA expression （P<0.05）， and the high-dose FZT group showed up-regulated SHIP1 mRNA expression and down-regulated Akt3 mRNA expression （P<0.05）. Compared with the blank group， the FZT groups showed reduced protein expression of PI3K， Akt3， and mTOR （P<0.05）. ConclusionFZT can significantly inhibit the proliferation of MH7A cells， and the mechanism is related to the promotion of the expression of SHIP-1 and down-regulation of the gene expression of the PI3K/Akt3/mTOR signaling pathway by down-regulating the expression of miR-155.

To analyze the clinical data of 2 neonates with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH). The rashes appeared in both cases shortly after birth.Case 1 had both rashes and neonatal sepsis, and no other tissues and organs were involved.After anti-infective treatment, the rashes gradually disappeared.Case 2 had secondary pneumonia, abnormal coagulation function and gastrointestinal bleeding.Both cases were positive for CD1a and S-100 by immunohistochemical staining of skin biopsy, and they were diagnosed as multi system-LCH.The early diagnosis of LCH is particularly important.The detection methods of skin or lymph node biopsy like immunohistochemistry, need to be performed as early as possible.Because the course of the disease is not clear, a close monitoring and follow-up are needed.

It remains controversial whether tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α antagonism is effective for asthma.This meta-analysis was performed to evaluate efficacy of TNF-α antagonism in treatment of patients with asthma.MEDLINE,EMBASE,LILACS,and CINAHL databases were searched for English-language studies published through January 3,2010.Randomized-controlled trials comparing TNF-α antagonism with control therapy were selected.For each report,data were extracted in relation to the outcomes analyzed:asthma exacerbation,asthma quality of life questionnaire scores,and forced expiratory volume in 1 second.Four assessable trials were identified including 641 patients with asthma.TNF-α antagonism therapy was superior to control therapy in preventing exacerbations in asthmatics [pooled odds ratio 0.52 (95％ confidence interval 0.29-0.88),P=0.02]; however,there was a nonsignificant reduction in asthma quality of life questionnaire scores [0.23 (0 to 0.47),P=0.05],forced expiratory volume in 1 second [0.03,(-0.14 to 0.10),P=0.74] when analyzed using standardized mean differences.TNF-α antagonism was superior to control chemotherapy in terms of asthma exacerbation,but not asthma quality of life questionnaire scores or forced expiratory volume in 1 second.

Objective To evaluate the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of primary duodenal carcinoma. Methods The clinical data of 41 cases with primary duodenal carcinoma admired during 2000-2007 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Clinical manifestation was not specific, including abdominal pain, abdominal distention, jaundice, bowel obstruction or bleeding. The correct diagnosis rate of endoscopy, duodenography, ultrasound and CT was 86%, 90%, 20% and 33% respectively. 23 cases underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy, 6 cases received segmental duodenectomy, 9 cases received bypass operation and 3 cases underwent biopsy. Overall postoperative 5-year survival rate was 18%. Univariate analysis revealed that the operation types, tumor histology, depth of tumor invatian, lymphatic invasion correlated with prognosis. Multivariate analysis showed that only the operative types, depth of tumor invasion and lymphatic invasion were independent prognostic factors. Conclusions Duodenography and endoscopy are major methods for diagnosis of primary duodenal carcinoma. Pancreaticoduodenectomy is the choice of therapy for primary duodenal carcinoma.

Objective To make a comparison between the outcome of modified Soave procedure and laparotomy on Hirschsprung disease(HD)in children.Method Chose the 21 eases who underwent transanal modified Soave procedure(modified Soave procedure group)and 25 eases had done by laparotomy (laparotomy group)from January 2001 to January 2007,clinical data of two groups were compared.Results Modified Soave procedure group showed lower level of IL-6 and CRP[(10.7±1.6)ng/L,(27.7±4.1)mg/L]on 48 h postoperation than laparotomy group[(22.0±2.3)ng/L,(73.7±15.0)mg/L](P ＜ 0.01).The mean operative time,hospital stay,the mean time of anal aerofluxus and the cost of hospitalization in modified Soave procedure group were much shorter than those in laparotomy group(P＜ 0.01).While the complication rate of two groups had no statistical difference.Moreover,there were no significant difference of rectal high pressure zone length and resting anal canal pressure between two groups at 1 year after operation.Conclusion Transanal modified Soave procedure for HD is a minimal invasive surgery,especially in young patients with short-segment type and common type of HD.
