Objective To investigate the incidence rate,clinical characteristics,and prognosis of neonatal stroke in Shenzhen,China.Methods Led by Shenzhen Children's Hospital,the Shenzhen Neonatal Data Collaboration Network organized 21 institutions to collect 36 cases of neonatal stroke from January 2020 to December 2022.The incidence,clinical characteristics,treatment,and prognosis of neonatal stroke in Shenzhen were analyzed.Results The incidence rate of neonatal stroke in 21 hospitals from 2020 to 2022 was 1/15 137,1/6 060,and 1/7 704,respectively.Ischemic stroke accounted for 75％(27/36);boys accounted for 64％(23/36).Among the 36 neonates,31(86％)had disease onset within 3 days after birth,and 19(53％)had convulsion as the initial presentation.Cerebral MRI showed that 22 neonates(61％)had left cerebral infarction and 13(36％)had basal ganglia infarction.Magnetic resonance angiography was performed for 12 neonates,among whom 9(75％)had involvement of the middle cerebral artery.Electroencephalography was performed for 29 neonates,with sharp waves in 21 neonates(72％)and seizures in 10 neonates(34％).Symptomatic/supportive treatment varied across different hospitals.Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment was performed for 12 neonates(33％,12/36),with a mean score of(32±4)points.The prognosis of 27 neonates was followed up to around 12 months of age,with 44％(12/27)of the neonates having a good prognosis.Conclusions Ischemic stroke is the main type of neonatal stroke,often with convulsions as the initial presentation,involvement of the middle cerebral artery,sharp waves on electroencephalography,and a relatively low neurodevelopment score.Symptomatic/supportive treatment is the main treatment method,and some neonates tend to have a poor prognosis.

OBJECTIVE: This study investigated trends in the study of phytochemical treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). METHODS: The Web of Science database (2007-2022) was searched using the search terms "phytochemicals" and "PTSD," and relevant literature was compiled. Network clustering co-occurrence analysis and qualitative narrative review were conducted. RESULTS: Three hundred and one articles were included in the analysis of published research, which has surged since 2015 with nearly half of all relevant articles coming from North America. The category is dominated by neuroscience and neurology, with two journals, Addictive Behaviors and Drug and Alcohol Dependence, publishing the greatest number of papers on these topics. Most studies focused on psychedelic intervention for PTSD. Three timelines show an "ebb and flow" phenomenon between "substance use/marijuana abuse" and "psychedelic medicine/medicinal cannabis." Other phytochemicals account for a small proportion of the research and focus on topics like neurosteroid turnover, serotonin levels, and brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression. CONCLUSION Research on phytochemicals and PTSD is unevenly distributed across countries/regions, disciplines, and journals. Since 2015, the research paradigm shifted to constitute the mainstream of psychedelic research thus far, leading to the exploration of botanical active ingredients and molecular mechanisms. During coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic, the treatment of severe trauma has been impacted. The Consensus on emergency surgery and infection prevention and control for severe trauma patients with 2019 novel corona virus pneumonia was published online on February 12, 2020, providing a strong guidance for the emergency treatment of severe trauma and the self-protection of medical staffs in the early stage of the epidemic. With the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council renaming "novel coronavirus pneumonia" to "novel coronavirus infection" and the infection being managed with measures against class B infectious diseases since January 8, 2023, the consensus published in 2020 is no longer applicable to the emergency treatment of severe trauma in the new stage of epidemic prevention and control. In this context, led by the Chinese Traumatology Association, Chinese Trauma Surgeon Association, Trauma Medicine Branch of Chinese International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, and Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Traumatology, the Chinese expert consensus on emergency surgery for severe trauma and infection prevention during coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic ( version 2023) is formulated to ensure the effectiveness and safety in the treatment of severe trauma in the new stage. Based on the policy of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council and by using evidence-based medical evidence as well as Delphi expert consultation and voting, 16 recommendations are put forward from the four aspects of the related definitions, infection prevention, preoperative assessment and preparation, emergency operation and postoperative management, hoping to provide a reference for severe trauma care in the new stage of the epidemic prevention and control.

Objective To explore the composition and distribution of metal and metalloids in fine particulate metter in a certain area of Shanghai through four consecutive years of dynamic monitoring. Methods The sampling point was on the roof of a community health service center in Shanghai, with a height of 12.5 meters.In the four winters of 2014-2017 from Dec. to Feb. next year, samples were continuously collected for 7 days(from 10^th to 16^th) a month and 22 hours for each day.Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was used for the determination of metals and metalloids in collected samples. Results The pairwise comparisons between the total metals, Al, Be, Cr, Hg, Pb, Mn, Ni, Se and Tl in any two years were statistically different through the rank sum test.In the Cochran-Armitage trend test, Al showed an upward trend in the whole periods, while Cr, Pb and Ni was on a downward trend.In factor analysis, factor 1 in each year had relatively stable component elements (As, Cd, Pb, Mn, Se), while the internal components of the remaining factors were relatively unstable. Conclusions There may be relatively stable sources of pollution locally.Al, Cr, Pb and Ni have a significant tendency to increase or decrease.

Objective To observe the efficacy of pinaverium bromide alone or in combination with amitriptyline in the treatment of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS-D).Methods One hundred and twenty-five patients with IBS -D,aged 18 -65 years,in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2016 were randomly divided into control group (63 cases,treated with pinaverium bromide 50 mg,tid) and treatment group (62 cases, on the basis of control group ,treated with amitriptyline 25 mg,qd).The total effective rate,the stool property and state,and the quality of life were assessed by IBS -bowel symptom severity scale (IBS-BSS),IBS-defecation state questionnaire ( IBS-DSQ) and the IBS-quality of life questionnaire (IBS-QOL) before and 4 weeks after the treatment respectively.Results After treatment,the IBS-BSS efficacy of the control group and the treatment group were 61.90%(39 cases/63 cases) and 85.48%(53 cases/62 cases), respectively, and the di-fference were statistically significant ( P<0.01 ).Total IBS-BSS scores of the control group and the treatment group were (166.32 ±72.75 ), (112.98 ±81.84 )point,respectively;which was significantly decreased in the treatment group (P<0.01).The IBS-DSQ effective rates of the control group and the treatment group were 71.43%(45 cases/63 cases) and 91.94%(57 cases/62 cases),respectively;which was significantly increased in the treatment group than that in the control group (P<0.01).Moreover,the total IBS-QOL integrals were statistically increased in the two groups , with the treatment group more pronounced.Conclusion Pinaverium bromide in combination with amitriptyline could effectively relieve bowel symptoms,improve the stool property and the defecation frequency and thus improve their quality of life ,which has a certain clinical application value .

Objective To learn the main problems of performance salary system in primary healthcare institutions after the implement of recent performance salary system guiding opinion in Zhejiang Province.Methods Purposive sampling method was used to separately select 2 counties from high,average and poor economic level regions in Zhejiang Province. Questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 leaders of 84 primary healthcare institutions which the number of staffs is larger than 20.The survey contents included demographic characteristics and the assessment of performance appraisal and performance salary system,which embraced workload,the change of work income and enthusiasm,the incentive function, component ratio and existing problem of performance salary system.Results The average income general increased, however,the staffs working enthusiasm should be further improved.Some problems still exist,such as the public health funds were brought into the total performance salary,and the gross payroll levels were low as well as the performance salary was lack of increasing mechanism.The TCM was the prior development business and contribute most to the revenue and expenditure surplus of primary healthcare institutions.Conclusion The performance salary system should be further improved and the operating effect evaluation in phases and stages should be developed.The decoction pieces should be selled without added profit,and the service ability of primary traditional Chinese medicine should be further strengthened.

ObjectiveTo investigate the immunity and seroprevalence of hepatitis A and to identify the risk factors of hepatitis A infection in 0-18 year-old children and adolescents in Shanghai.MethodsSubjects were enrolled by stratifying and clustering random sampling method.Questionnaire interview was applied to investigate the socio-demographic and behavioral factors related to hepatitis A virus (HAV),and information on HAV immunization was abstracted from the immunization registration book of each subject.The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to qualitatively detect HAV IgM and quantitatively measure total HAV antibody in all subjects.Risk factors associated with HAV among the subjects without HAV vaccination were analyzed.ResultsA total of 2431 subjects were enrolled in the present study with negative HAV IgM antibody and total HAV antibody in 1483 subjects were sero-positive with positivity rate of 61％.Total HAV antibody positivity rates were declined with age increasing and were significantly higher in subjects with HAV vaccination than those without HAV vaccination records.Salad food,eating together without food separation in school and endoscopy inspection were risk factors for HAV infection.ConclusionsHAV vaccination strategies remarkably improve the total HAV antibody seropositive rate in children and adolescents in Shanghai.The risk of HAV infection exists if HAV vaccination is not administrated comprehensively.Therefore,strengthening HAV vaccination and health education are important for children and adolescents to prevent and control of hepatitis A in Shanghai.

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone cancer in children and adolescents. Emerging evidence has suggested that the capability of a tumor to grow is driven by a small subset of cells within a tumor, termed cancer stem cells (CSCs). Although several methods have been explored to identify or enrich CSCs in osteosarcoma, these methods sometimes seem impractical, and chemotherapy enrichment for CSCs in osteosarcoma is rarely investigated. In the present study, we found that short exposure to chemotherapy could change the morphology of osteosarcoma cells and increase sarcosphere formation in vitro, as well as increase tumor formation in vivo. Furthermore, methotrexate (MTX)-resistant U2OS/MTX300 osteosarcoma cells were larger in size and grew much more tightly than parental U2OS cells. More importantly, U2OS/MTX300 cells possessed a higher potential to generate sarcospheres in serum-free conditions compared to parental U2OS cells. Also, U2OS/MTX300 cells exhibited the side population (SP) phenotype and expressed CSC surface markers CD117 and Stro-1. Notably, U2OS/MTX300 cells showed a substantially higher tumorigenicity in nude mice relative to U2OS cells. Therefore, we conclude that chemotherapy enrichment is a feasible and practical way to enrich osteosarcoma stem cells.

Objective To study the prevalence and distribution of mental disorders among registered and non-registered residents in Shenzhen. Methods An epidemiological survey on mental disorders were carried out in Shenzhen by stratified multi-stage randomized sampling method; 7134 respondents were assessed through face-to-face interview, using the WHO standardized version on World Mental Health (WMH) Survey Initiative of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI3.1). Results (1)The weighting prevalence of mental disorders was 21.87%. The prevalence of non-registered residents was significantly higher than that of the registered residents (22.34% vs. 19.99% ; OR= 1.15,95%CI: 1.03-1.29; P<0.05) and the prevalence of females was significantly higher than that of males (22.68% vs. 19.67%; OR=1.20,95%CI: 1.07-1.34; P<0.05). The weighting prevalence of mood disorders, anxiety disorders and psychoses were 9.62%, 14.45% and 1.40%, respectively. (2) The weighting twelve-month incidence of mental disorders was 13.42%. The incidence of non-registered residents was significantly higher than that of the registered residents (13.80% vs. 11.90%; OR=1.19, 95%CI: 1.03-1.36; P<0.05). (3)The co-morbidity rate between mental disorders was 35.76%. (4)The prevalence and severity of mental disorders were associated with sex, household situation of registration, marital status, education, economic condition and occupation status. Conclusion Mental disorders have become common diseases and serious public health problem in Shenzhen, with non-registered residents and females deserve more attention.
