Objective:
To explore the intervention effect of group counseling integrating teadrinking on depression, social avoidance and distress, coping styles and selfesteem among college students, so as to provide references for promoting the psychological health of students.
Methods:
From March to June 2021, a convenience sampling method was used to recruit 46 college students from a university in Nanjing for intervention project. There were 23 students in intervention group and control group, respectively. The intervention was conducted for 2.5 hours per week across a 6 week period. The intervention group received two sessions of group counseling that incorporated teadrinking experience, and the sessions involved tea knowledge explanation, observation and learning, embodied experience, emotional expression, interpersonal assistance and emotional support, cultural customs and life integration. After the intervention was completed, the control group received onetime group counseling that integrated teadrinking. The Wilcoxon difference test and Mann-Whitney U test were performed to compare the scores of each scale within and between the groups, and the χ2 test was used to compare the detection rates.
Results:
There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of positive coping, negative coping, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress between the intervention group and the control group (Z=-1.20, -0.33, -0.35, 1.31,P>0.05). There were statistically significant differences in positive coping styles, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress between the intervention group and the control group after the intervention(27.70±5.60,22.05±4.30;30.52±3.63,28.27±4.06;7.43±7.38,13.64±6.79) (Z=-3.31, -2.10, 3.22, P<0.05). The intervention group showed statistically significant differences in social avoidance and distress scores before and after the intervention(11.96±7.47,7.43±7.38) (Z=-2.88), and the depression detection rate decreased(60.9%,30.4%) (χ2=4.29) (P<0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in positive coping, negative coping, selfesteem, social avoidance and distress scores, and depression detection rate between the control group before and after the intervention (Z/χ2=-0.28, -0.42, -1.24, -1.25;1.39, P>0.05). The followup results 1year later showed that there was a statistically significant difference in social avoidance and distress(6.57±6.21,14.16±9.22), and in the detection rates of depression(21.7%,52.2%) between the intervention group and the control group (Z/χ2=2.70,4.57,P<0.05).
Conclusions
Group counseling integrating teadrinking could improve interpersonal relationships, emotional states, selfesteem levels and coping strategies among college students. Group psychological counseling that incorporates teadrinking can be adopted to improve the mental health status of college students.

Objective:To explore the locations of the lumbosacral nerve roots by use of the magnetic stimulation. Methods:Thirty healthy subjects were studied. The projections of the right L 2 to S 1 intervertebral foramina on their body surfaces were determined manually with ultrasound assistance. Magnetic stimulation was applied to different nerve root segments to induce compound muscle action potentials (CMAP) in the vastus medialis, tibialis anterior, and gastrocnemius muscles of the lower limbs. The changes in latency, amplitude, and motor threshold were observed. Results:Magnetic stimulation on the L 2-L 3 segment resulted in a significant direct excitation of the vastus medialis. That on the L 5-S 1 segment evoked a significant direct excitatory effect on the tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius, with a motor threshold below 40%, an amplitude exceeding 1mV, and many effective responses. However, during the magnetic stimulation on the L 4 segment, the amplitude of the vastus medialis was above 1mV, with no significant differences in the number of effective responses among the muscle groups. Moreover, there was a stepwise change in the latency of effective muscle responses to magnetic stimulation at different segments. The CMAP latencies of 12+ ms for the tibialis anterior and 13+ ms for the gastrocnemius indicated activation of the L 5 and L 4 nerve roots, respectively, while those of 6+ ms, 7+ ms, and 8+ ms for the vastus medialis suggested activation of the L 4, L 3, and L 2 nerve roots, respectively. Conclusions:Based on the responses (CMAP latency, amplitude and motor threshold) of the vastus medialis, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius to magnetic stimulation at different L 2 to S 1 segments, the spinal nerve root segments responsible for innervation can be inferred.

BackgroundMental illness during pregnancy has become a major public health problem in China over the recent years, and depression is the most common psychological symptom during pregnancy. Current research efforts are directed towards the therapy on prenatal depression, whereas the construction of prediction model for prenatal depression risk has been little studied. ObjectiveTo construct a simple model for predicting the risk of prenatal depression, thus providing a valuable reference for the prevention of maternal depression during pregnancy. MethodsA total of 803 pregnant women attending three hospitals in Nanchong city were consecutively recruited from May 2021 to February 2022. A self-administered questionnaire was developed for the assessment of social demographic variables, obstetrical and general medical indexes and psychological status of all participants, and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) was utilized to screen for the presence of maternal depression. Subjects were randomly assigned into modelling group (n=635) and validation group (n=168) at the ratio of 8∶2 under simple random sampling with replacement. The candidate risk factors of maternal depression during pregnancy were screened using binary Logistic regression analysis, and the predictive model was constructed. Then the performance of the predictive model was validated using receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve. Results① Lack of companionship (β=-0.692, OR=0.501, 95% CI: 0.289~0.868), low mood during the last menstrual period (β=-1.510, OR=0.221, 95% CI: 0.074~0.656), emotional stress during the last menstrual period (β=-1.082, OR=0.339, 95% CI: 0.135~0.853), unsatisfactory relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law (β=-1.228, OR=0.293, 95% CI: 0.141~0.609), and indifferent generally relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law (β=-0.831, OR=0.436, 95% CI: 0.260~0.730) were risk factors for prenatal depression in pregnant women (P<0.05 or 0.01). ② Model for predicting the prenatal depression risk yielded an area under curve (AUC) of 0.698 (95% CI: 0.646~0.749), the maximum Youden index was 0.357 in modelling group with the sensitivity and specificity was 0.606 and 0.751, and an AUC of 0.672 (95% CI: 0.576~0.767) and maximum Youden index of 0.263 in validation group with the sensitivity and specificity of 0.556 and 0.707. ConclusionThe simple model constructed in this study has good discriminant validity in predicting of the risk of prenatal depression. Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2019;25(3):360-362
Objective? To explore the differences between communication demands of tracheal intubation patients and cognition nurses in intensive care unit (ICU). Methods? We selected 105 tracheal intubation patients after the cardiac surgery and 19 nurses provided nursing for them as subjects at Peking University First Hospital by convenience sampling. All of the patients and nurses were investigated with the communication demands scale of tracheal intubation patients, and the differences between them were compared. Results? The total score of demands of tracheal intubation patients was (99.96±24.93) lower than that (123.11±19.48) of cognition of nurses with a statistical difference (P<0.05). The highest communication demand of patients was the item of "I want to know the time of tube drawing" with (3.33±1.09) for the score ranked fourth in cognition of nurses. The scores of items in demands of love and belonging as well as self-esteem of patients ranked more than the tenth. Conclusions? There are differences between communication demands of tracheal intubation patients and cognition of nurses in ICU especially in physiological needs, safety needs as well as the need of love and belonging. Encouraging patients to express intentions, understanding patients' intentions and avoiding forming the fixed thinking can carry out nursing service better so as to provide the best scientific basis for patients' disease recovery.

Objective To analyze the correlative differences in the cardiac surgery for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and non-nephropathy disease, and explore the cardiac perioperative nursing for patients with ESRD. Methods A single-center retrospective comparative analysis was conducted in patients with ESRD (ESRD group, 26 cases) and non-nephropathy disease (control group, 26 cases) treated with cardiac surgery from January 2004 to December 2016 in Peking University First Hospital. Postoperative laboratory indexes, the changes of indexes in the monitoring room and the blood transfusion were compared between two groups. Results At 0, 1 and 2 d after the surgery, hemoglobin levels of patients in ESRD group were significantly lower than those in the control group; creatinine and urea nitrogen levels in ESRD group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P< 0.01). Postoperative serum potassium levels in ESRD group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.01). The amount of erythrocyte and platelet transfusion in ESRD group were higher than those of control group (P<0.01). There was no statistically significant difference between the ESRD group and the control group in the ventilator time, 24-hour pleural drainage and total thoracic drainage (P> 0.05). The duration of stay in ICU and postoperative hospital stay were (101.62±49.10) h and (28.23±20.44) d in the ESRD group, which were significantly longer than those in the control group [(71.35±33.10) h, (16.58±8.43) d]. Conclusions ESRD patients have a higher risk in the cardiac surgery when compared with patients with non-nephropathy disease. Therefore, nurses should pay attention to the perioperative electrolyte balance and infusion of blood products, as well as the prevention of postoperative complications and psychological nursing, to help patients with better prognosis.
