		                        			This data article describes the"Typical Regional Activity Patterns"(TRAP)dataset,which is based on the Tackling Key Problems in Air Pollution Control Program.In order to explore the interaction between air pollution and physical activity,we collected activity patterns of 9,221 residents with different occupations and lifestyles for three consecutive days in typical regions(Jinan and Baoding)where air pollutant concentrations were higher than those in neighboring areas.The TRAP dataset consists of two aspects of information:demographic indicators(personal information,occupation,personal habits,and living situation)and physical activity pattern data(activity location and intensity);additionally,the exposure measures of physical activity patterns are included,which data users can match to various endpoints for their specific purpose.This dataset provides evidence for exploring the attributes of activity patterns of residents in northern China and for interdisciplinary researchers to develop strategies and measures for health education and health promotion.

		                        			Objective: To analyze the prevalence and the risk factors of fungal sepsis in 25 neonatal intensive care units (NICU) among preterm infants in China, and to provide a basis for preventive strategies of fungal sepsis. Methods: This was a second-analysis of the data from the "reduction of infection in neonatal intensive care units using the evidence-based practice for improving quality" study. The current status of fungal sepsis of the 24 731 preterm infants with the gestational age of <34+0 weeks, who were admitted to 25 participating NICU within 7 days of birth between May 2015 and April 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. These preterm infants were divided into the fungal sepsis group and the without fungal sepsis group according to whether they developed fungal sepsis to analyze the incidences and the microbiology of fungal sepsis. Chi-square test was used to compare the incidences of fungal sepsis in preterm infants with different gestational ages and birth weights and in different NICU. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to study the outcomes of preterm infants with fungal sepsis, which were further compared with those of preterm infants without fungal sepsis. The 144 preterm infants in the fungal sepsis group were matched with 288 preterm infants in the non-fungal sepsis group by propensity score-matched method. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the risk factors of fungal sepsis. Results: In all, 166 (0.7%) of the 24 731 preterm infants developed fungal sepsis, with the gestational age of (29.7±2.0) weeks and the birth weight of (1 300±293) g. The incidence of fungal sepsis increased with decreasing gestational age and birth weight (both P<0.001). The preterm infants with gestational age of <32 weeks accounted for 87.3% (145/166). The incidence of fungal sepsis was 1.0% (117/11 438) in very preterm infants and 2.0% (28/1 401) in extremely preterm infants, and was 1.3% (103/8 060) in very low birth weight infants and 1.7% (21/1 211) in extremely low birth weight infants, respectively. There was no fungal sepsis in 3 NICU, and the incidences in the other 22 NICU ranged from 0.7% (10/1 397) to 2.9% (21/724), with significant statistical difference (P<0.001). The pathogens were mainly Candida (150/166, 90.4%), including 59 cases of Candida albicans and 91 cases of non-Candida albicans, of which Candida parapsilosis was the most common (41 cases). Fungal sepsis was independently associated with increased risk of moderate to severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) (adjusted OR 1.52, 95%CI 1.04-2.22, P=0.030) and severe retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) (adjusted OR 2.55, 95%CI 1.12-5.80, P=0.025). Previous broad spectrum antibiotics exposure (adjusted OR=2.50, 95%CI 1.50-4.17, P<0.001), prolonged use of central line (adjusted OR=1.05, 95%CI 1.03-1.08, P<0.001) and previous total parenteral nutrition (TPN) duration (adjusted OR=1.04, 95%CI 1.02-1.06, P<0.001) were all independently associated with increasing risk of fungal sepsis. Conclusions: Candida albicans and Candida parapsilosis are the main pathogens of fungal sepsis among preterm infants in Chinese NICU. Preterm infants with fungal sepsis are at increased risk of moderate to severe BPD and severe ROP. Previous broad spectrum antibiotics exposure, prolonged use of central line and prolonged duration of TPN will increase the risk of fungal sepsis. 		                        			 AIM: To investigate whether the microgravity environment is related to retinal damage.METHODS: Hanging-tail mice tests were used to simulate weightlessness. Light microscopy, and transmission electron microscopic examinations of the retinal tissue structure were used to observe morphological changes. Immunohistochemistry and Western blot analyses were performed to detect the molecular changes associated with the observations.RESULT: Light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy demonstrated that more dead cells were detected in the ganglion layer and inner nuclear layer cells. TNF-α and caspase-3 protein expression in the retinas of simulated microgravity groups were up-regulated compared with the ground-based control group.CONCLUSION: The results demonstrated that simulated microgravity produced severe pathological damage in the retinas of mice.

		                        			Objective: To analyze the clinical epidemiological characteristics including composition of pathogens , clinical characteristics, and disease prognosis acute bacterial meningitis (ABM) in Chinese children. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical and laboratory data of 1 610 children <15 years of age with ABM in 33 tertiary hospitals in China from January 2019 to December 2020. Patients were divided into different groups according to age,<28 days group, 28 days to <3 months group, 3 months to <1 year group, 1-<5 years of age group, 5-<15 years of age group; etiology confirmed group and clinically diagnosed group according to etiology diagnosis. Non-numeric variables were analyzed with the Chi-square test or Fisher's exact test, while non-normal distrituction numeric variables were compared with nonparametric test. Results: Among 1 610 children with ABM, 955 were male and 650 were female (5 cases were not provided with gender information), and the age of onset was 1.5 (0.5, 5.5) months. There were 588 cases age from <28 days, 462 cases age from 28 days to <3 months, 302 cases age from 3 months to <1 year of age group, 156 cases in the 1-<5 years of age and 101 cases in the 5-<15 years of age. The detection rates were 38.8% (95/245) and 31.5% (70/222) of Escherichia coli and 27.8% (68/245) and 35.1% (78/222) of Streptococcus agalactiae in infants younger than 28 days of age and 28 days to 3 months of age; the detection rates of Streptococcus pneumonia, Escherichia coli, and Streptococcus agalactiae were 34.3% (61/178), 14.0% (25/178) and 13.5% (24/178) in the 3 months of age to <1 year of age group; the dominant pathogens were Streptococcus pneumoniae and the detection rate were 67.9% (74/109) and 44.4% (16/36) in the 1-<5 years of age and 5-<15 years of age . There were 9.7% (19/195) strains of Escherichia coli producing ultra-broad-spectrum β-lactamases. The positive rates of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) culture and blood culture were 32.2% (515/1 598) and 25.0% (400/1 598), while 38.2% (126/330)and 25.3% (21/83) in CSF metagenomics next generation sequencing and Streptococcus pneumoniae antigen detection. There were 4.3% (32/790) cases of which CSF white blood cell counts were normal in etiology confirmed group. Among 1 610 children with ABM, main intracranial imaging complications were subdural effusion and (or) empyema in 349 cases (21.7%), hydrocephalus in 233 cases (14.5%), brain abscess in 178 cases (11.1%), and other cerebrovascular diseases, including encephalomalacia, cerebral infarction, and encephalatrophy, in 174 cases (10.8%). Among the 166 cases (10.3%) with unfavorable outcome, 32 cases (2.0%) died among whom 24 cases died before 1 year of age, and 37 cases (2.3%) had recurrence among whom 25 cases had recurrence within 3 weeks. The incidences of subdural effusion and (or) empyema, brain abscess and ependymitis in the etiology confirmed group were significantly higher than those in the clinically diagnosed group (26.2% (207/790) vs. 17.3% (142/820), 13.0% (103/790) vs. 9.1% (75/820), 4.6% (36/790) vs. 2.7% (22/820), χ2=18.71, 6.20, 4.07, all P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the unfavorable outcomes, mortility, and recurrence between these 2 groups (all P>0.05). Conclusions: The onset age of ABM in children is usually within 1 year of age, especially <3 months. The common pathogens in infants <3 months of age are Escherichia coli and Streptococcus agalactiae, and the dominant pathogen in infant ≥3 months is Streptococcus pneumoniae. Subdural effusion and (or) empyema and hydrocephalus are common complications. ABM should not be excluded even if CSF white blood cell counts is within normal range. Standardized bacteriological examination should be paid more attention to increase the pathogenic detection rate. 7.Altered serum cytokine expression profile in systemic sclerosis and its regulatory mechanisms.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To analyze the expression profile of serum cytokines in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) and explore its possible regulatory mechanisms.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			Serum and DNA of peripheral blood mononuclear cells were collected from 30 SSc patients and 80 normal controls (NCs). According to the presence or absence of interstitial lung disease (ILD) in SSc, the patients were divided into SSc with ILD group and SSc without ILD group. According to the degree of skin involvement, the patients were divided into diffuse systemic scleroderma (dcSSc) group and limited systemic scleroderma (lcSSc) group. According to the presence of anti-topoisomerase-1 antibody (anti-Scl-70 antibody) in the serum of patients with SSc, they were divided into SSc Scl-70 (+) group and SSc Scl-70 (-) group. 27 cytokines in serum were detected by Luminex MAGPIX detection system and Bio-Plex Pro Human Cytokine 27-plex Assay kit: interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1ra), IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, IL-9, IL-10, IL-12P70, IL-13, IL-15, IL-17, basic fiber growth factor (BASIC FGF), eotaxin, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), interferon-gamma induced protein 10(IP-10), monocyte chemotactic protein 1(MCP-1), macrophage inflammatory protein-1α (MIP-1α), macrophage inflammatory protein 1β(MIP-1β), platelet-derived growth factor BB (PDGF-BB), regulated on activation in normal T-cell expressed and secreted (RANTES), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF). Methylation sites were detected by Illumina 450K methylation chip.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			Compared with NCs group, the expression of 12 cytokines (BASIC FGF, eotaxin, G-CSF, GM-CSF, IFN-γ, IL-1β, IL-1ra, IL-6, IP-10, MCP-1, TNF-α and RANTES) in the SSc group significantly increased (P<0.05), IL-5 was decreased expression in the SSc group (P<0.05), there was no significant difference in the expressions of the other 14 cytokines. Compared with lcSSc group, 9 cytokines (eotaxin, IL-5, MCP-1, IL-2, RANTES, IL17A, IL-8, MIP-1β and PDGF-BB) increased in dcSSc group, but there was no significant difference. Compared with SSc without ILD group, IL-15 increased in SSC with ILD group [18.2 (172.97) ng/L vs. 2.03(0.05) ng/L, P<0.05]. Compared with SSc Scl-70 (-) group, the expression of IP-10 decreased in SSc Scl-70 (+) group [1 030 (2 196.6) ng/L vs. 1 878 (2 964) ng/L, P<0.05]. The correlation analysis of serum cytokines with erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) showed that IL-6 was positively correlated with ESR (r =0.04, P= 0.017), MCP-1 (r=0.49, P=0.043) and MIP-1β (r=0.41, P=0.007) positively correlated with CRP. By analyzing the changes of methylation sites of cytokines, it was found that cg17744604 in IL-10 TSS1500 region, cg06111286 in IL-12P70 TSS200 region, cg07935264 in IL-1β TSS200 region, cg01467417 in IL-1ra TSS1500 region, cg03989987 in IL-1ra 5'UTR region and cg21099624 in VEGF TSS200 region were all hypomethylated.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			There were different cytokines expression profiles in the serum of SSc patients, and the altered cytokines were correlected with the degree of skin damage and pulmonary fibrosis. 8.Influence of cow's milk protein allergy on the diagnosis of functional gastrointestinal diseases based on the Rome IV standard in infants and young children.

OBJECTIVETo study the influence of cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) on the diagnosis of functional gastrointestinal diseases (FGID) based on the Rome IV standard in infants and young children.
METHODSA total of 84 children aged 1 month to 3 years who were diagnosed with CMPA were enrolled as the case group, and 84 infants and young children who underwent physical examination and had no CMPA were enrolled as the control group. The pediatricians specializing in gastroenterology asked parents using a questionnaire for the diagnosis of FGID based on the Rome IV standard to assess clinical symptoms and to diagnose FGID.
RESULTSThe case group had a significantly higher incidence rate of a family history of allergies than the control group (P<0.05). In the case group, 38 (45%) met the Rome IV standard for the diagnosis of FGID, while in the control group, 13 (15%) met this standard (P<0.05). According to the Rome IV standard for FGID, the case group had significantly higher diagnostic rates of reflex, functional diarrhea, difficult defecation, and functional constipation than the control group (P<0.05). The children who were diagnosed with FIGD in the control group were given conventional treatment, and those in the case group were asked to avoid the intake of cow's milk protein in addition to the conventional treatment. After 3 months of treatment, the case group had a significantly higher response rate to the treatment than the control group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONSIn infants and young children, CMPA has great influence on the diagnosis of FGID based on the Rome IV standard. The possibility of CMPA should be considered during the diagnosis of FGID.
9.Research advances in immune evasion mechanism of helminths

		                        			Helminth infection can lead to organic,digestive and other tissue's pathological damage.Helminth diseases are harmful to human and animal health,and can cause reproductive failure,inhibits the growth and development of juvenile ani-mals,even lead to death of humans and animals in serious cases,and poses significant impacts on public health and causes eco-nomic losses to the animal husbandry.Currently,the prevention and control of helminth disease is largely dependent on inte-grated control measures including the use of drugs.Due to drug residues,drug resistance,and other issues,the development of new drugs and vaccines is imminent.So far,there is few ideal vaccines to control helminth diseases,which is due to that hel-minths have evolved mechanisms to evade host immune attacks during evolution,such as immune isolation,antigen variation, molecular simulation and so on.Therefore,this review describes the recent research advances in the immune evasion strategies of parasitic helminth,which aims to provide a reference for the development of new vaccines or drugs for better prevention and control of helminth diseases.

		                        			Along with the increase of clinical application, the safety of traditional Chinese medicine gained more and more attentions. In particular, the safety evaluation of Chinese medical injections has become a mandatory task should be completed by pharmaceutical companies under the supervision of China Food and Drug Administration(CFDA). Due to the weak foundation of previous studies, the safety issues of Chinese medical injections have not been fully understood, and lack of scientific and rational risk management programs. Clinical safety centralized monitoring(CSCM) is an important method for post-market safety evaluation of Chinese medicine. Due to the lack of appropriate norms and procedures, the quality of similar research is uneven, and the results vary. Combined with practical experience with experts' suggestions, we developed this expert consensus on the design and implementation of CSCM from three stages (design, implementation and report) with 20 technical points, which will provide technical support for future CSCM studies.
