ObjectiveTo reveal the correlation of Rehmannia glutinosa-soil feedback process with the formation of its continuous cropping obstacles through the identification of the root exudates of R. glutinosa and analysis of the specific rhizomicrobes recruited by the root exudate. MethodThe root exudates of R. glutinosa seedlings germinated under sterilized condition and those enriched in the rhizosphere of R. glutinosa cultivated in the field were collected and analyzed using the ultra-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS). The highly abundant compounds identified in the root exudates were added into blank soil, and the soil microbial community was profiled using Illumina Miseq sequencing. The bacterial and fungal functions were predicted by PICRUSt and FUNGuild, respectively. ResultThe identification results showed that seven phenylethanoid glycosides were found in R. glutinosa root exudates, and acteoside possessed the highest abundance. In the soil enriched with acteoside, the bacterial genera such as Agromyces, Pseudomonas, Lysobacter, Sphingobium, Pseudoxanthomonas and Sphingomonas were enriched. For the fungi, the genera Neocosmospora, Plectosphaerella and Dactylonectria, and the species such as Neocosmospora rubicola, Plectosphaerella cucumerina, Dactylonectria alcacerensis and Fusarium solani showed higher abundance. The functional analysis indicated the above-mentioned bacterial genera may realize rapid proliferation by utilizing, biodegrading and transforming phenylethanoid glycosides, and some potential fungal pathogens were colonized. ConclusionThe R. glutinsoa-soil feedbacks were likely generated by the phenylethanoid glycosides in the root exudates together with the specific rhizomicrobes. The investigations of R. glutinsoa-soil feedbacks under continuous cropping system are critical to the further understanding of the underlying mechanisms related to its continuous cropping obstacles.

Patients with severe trauma require an extremely timely treatment and transfusion plays an irreplaceable role in the emergency treatment of such patients. An increasing number of evidence-based medicinal evidences and clinical practices suggest that patients with severe traumatic bleeding benefit from early transfusion of low-titer group O whole blood or hemostatic resuscitation with red blood cells, plasma and platelet of a balanced ratio. However, the current domestic mode of blood supply cannot fully meet the requirements of timely and effective blood transfusion for emergency treatment of patients with severe trauma in clinical practice. In order to solve the key problems in blood supply and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma, Branch of Clinical Transfusion Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, Group for Trauma Emergency Care and Multiple Injuries of Trauma Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Young Scholar Group of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association organized domestic experts of blood transfusion medicine and trauma treatment to jointly formulate Chinese expert consensus on blood support mode and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma patients ( version 2024). Based on the evidence-based medical evidence and Delphi method of expert consultation and voting, 10 recommendations were put forward from two aspects of blood support mode and transfusion strategies, aiming to provide a reference for transfusion resuscitation in the emergency treatment of severe trauma and further improve the success rate of treatment of patients with severe trauma.

Objective:To understand the current status of existential distress in patients with advanced lung cancer and analyze its influencing factors, so as to provide a reference for developing targeted intervention programs. Methods:A total of 320 patients with advanced lung cancer were selected using convenience sampling from two Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Weifang between February 2022 and August 2023. The data were collected using a General Information Questionnaire, the Chinese Version of the Existential Distress Scale (EDS), the Social Support Revalued Scale (SSRS), the Chinese Version of the Strategies Used by People to Promote Health (SUPPH), and Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9). Spearman correlation analysis was conducted to analyze the relationships between EDS, SSRS, SUPPH, and PHQ-9 scores, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors of existential distress in patients with advanced lung cancer. A total of 320 questionnaires were distributed, with 318 valid responses, yielding a valid response rate of 99.38% (318/320) .Results:The total EDS score for the 318 patients was 3.00 (2.00, 4.00). EDS scores were positively correlated with PHQ-9 scores and negatively correlated with SSRS and SUPPH scores ( P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that marital status, social support, self-management efficacy, and depression were influencing factors of existential distress in patients with advanced lung cancer ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Patients with advanced lung cancer experience mild existential distress. Medical staff should assess existential distress levels, paying close attention to patients who are divorced or widowed, have low levels of social support and self-management efficacy, or are experiencing depression. Early interventions should be developed to alleviate negative emotions and help patients rebuild their sense of meaning, thereby improving psychological well-being and reducing survival distress.

Graphene family nanomaterials(GFNs)are highly popular in the field of bone tissue engineering because of their excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and ability to promote the osteogenic differentiation of stem cells.GFNs play a multifaceted role in promoting the bone regeneration microenvironment.First,GFNs activate the ad-hesion kinase/extracellularly regulated protein kinase(FAK/ERK)signaling pathway through their own micromorphology and promote the expression of osteogenesis-related genes.Second,GFNs adapt to the mechanical strength of bone tis-sue,which helps to maintain osseointegration;by adjusting the stiffness of the extracellular matrix, they transmit the me-chanical signals of the matrix to the intracellular space with the help of focal adhesions(FAs),thus creating a favorable physiochemical microenvironment. Moreover, they regulate the immune microenvironment at the site of bone defects, thus directing the polarization of macrophages to the M2 type and influencing the secretion of relevant cytokines.GFNs also act as slow-release carriers of bioactive molecules with both angiogenic and antibacterial abilities, thus accelerating the repair process of bone defects.Multiple types of GFNs regulate the bone regeneration microenvironment, including scaffold materials, hydrogels, biofilms, and implantable coatings.Although GFNs have attracted much attention in the field of bone tissue engineering, their application in bone tissue regeneration is still in the basic experimental stage. To promote the clinical application of GFNs,there is a need to provide more sufficient evidence of their biocompatibility, elucidate the mechanism by which they induce the osteogenic differentiation of stem cells, and develop more effective form of applications.

Objective:To investigate the pathogen spectrum and the epidemiological characteristics of hospitalized severe acute respiratory tract infection (SARI) cases in a sentinel hospital in Tongzhou District of Beijing from 2019 to 2022, and provide reference for scientific prevention and control of SARI.Methods:This study enrolled SARI patients in the Beijing Luhe Hospital from January 2019 to December 2022. Nasopharyngeal swabs or respiratory secretions of the patients were collected and analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR to detect the pathogens and their types. The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of the cases were analyzed. Results:In this study, 1 124 SARI cases were enrolled, of which 379 were positive for respiratory pathogens with a detection rate of 33.72%. Most of the SARI cases were positive for bacteria pathogens, and the detection rates of Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia were high. Influenza A virus, parainfluenza virus, and respiratory syncytial virus were the main viral pathogens detected in the cases. There were significant differences in the number of cases and the detection rate of respiratory pathogens among different age groups (χ 2=555, P=0.000 1). The predominant pathogens in different years were different. Mycoplasma pneumoniae [27.27% (51/187)] and influenza A virus [17.65% (33/187), ] were the predominant pathogens in 2019; parainfluenza virus [16.67% (10/60)], Mycoplasma pneumoniae [11.67% (7/60)], and Haemophilus influenzae [11.67% (7/60)] were the predominant pathogens in 2020; Stenotrophomonas maltophilia [24.39% (20/82)] and respiratory syncytial virus [19.51% (16/82)] were the predominant pathogens in 2021; Stenotrophomonas maltophilia [20% (10/50)] and parainfluenza virus [12% (6/50)] were the predominant pathogens in 2022. Conclusions:Most of the SARI cases in Tongzhou district of Beijing from 2019 to 2022 are caused by bacteria. More attention should be paid to the prevalence of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia and Mycoplasma pneumoniae, as well as the prevalence of respiratory syncytial virus, parainfluenza virus, and influenza A virus. The predominant pathogens change every year from 2019 to 2022. Therefore, the prevention and control strategies should be made accordingly. This study provides basis data for the national respiratory multipathogen surveillance program.

Objective To explore the effect of JianpiYiqi Decoction on the proliferation, invasion and apoptosis of Human hepatoma Huh-7 cells under the constructed inflammatory microenvironment stimulated by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and adenosine triphosphate(ATP),and to detect the interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and interleukin-18(IL-18)Expression level in cells. Methods Construction drug-containing serum of JianpiYiqi.Adopt LPS and ATP were added to the cell culture medium to stimulate hepatoma cells and construct the inflammatory microenvironment. The cells were divided into blank group, model group,VX-765 group(10 μmol·L-1),low concentration of traditional Chinese medicine group(15%JianpiYiqi Decoction low dosedrug-containing serum),Medium concentration of traditional Chinese medicine group(15%JianpiYiqi Decoction Medium dose drug-containing serum),and high concentration of traditional Chinese medicine group(15%JianpiYiqi Decoction high dose drug-containing serum).Adopt CCK-8 method was used to detect the proliferation level of cells in each group after cell intervention; The apoptosis rate of cells in each group was detected by Annexin V-FITC/PI method;Adopt Transwell method was used to detect the level of cell invasion in each group;adopt PI single staining was used to detect the cell cycle level in each group;Adopt ELISA method and Western blot method were used to detection of IL-1β and 1l-18 expression level in Huh-7 cells. Results Compared with the blank group,in the model group stimulated by LPS and ATP,the proliferation level, invasion level,IL-1β and IL-18 expression level of Huh-7 cells were higher(P<0.05),and the apoptosis level was lower(P<0.05).Compared with other groups, the Medium concentration of traditional Chinese medicine group and the high concentration of traditional Chinese medicine group could effectively inhibit the proliferation and invasion level of Huh-7 cells, block the cell proliferation cycle, reduce the cell survival rate(P<0.05),significantly induce apoptosis of Huh-7 cells(P<0.05),and reduce the expression levels of IL-1β and IL-18 in Huh-7 cells(P<0.05).Conclusion The drug-containing serum JianpiYiqi. The medium and high concentrations of JianpiYiqi Decoction drug-containing serum can inhibit the proliferation and invasion, block the cell cycle and induce apoptosis of human liver cancer Huh-7 cells by improving the inflammatory microenvironment in liver cancer Huh-7 cells. Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of liver cancer cells.Analyze the levels of inflammatory factors IL-1β and IL-18 to achieve the therapeutic purpose of primary liver cancer.
