Objective:To construct evaluation indicators for the effectiveness of curriculum ideology and politics education in medical colleges and universities based on the Center for the Study of Evaluation (CSE) model. Methods:Based on the CSE-based theoretical framework of "needs evaluation, program evaluation, formative evaluation, and summative evaluation", semi-structured interviews were conducted to select indicators. The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of questionnaire-based consultation with 29 experts to establish a set of indicators for evaluating the effects of curriculum ideology and politics teaching of medical colleges and universities. The priority diagram was used to calculate and determine the weight of each index. Results:The authority coefficient of the 29 experts included in this study was 0.85. The Kendall's coefficients of concordance for the two rounds of expert consultation were 0.361 and 0.577 ( P<0.05), respectively. Finally, an evaluation system for the effectiveness of curriculum ideology and politics teaching was formed, including 4 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators, and 18 evaluation observation points. The 4 first-level indicators were "implementation objectives", "implementation plans", "implementation process", and "implementation effects". Conclusions:The CSE model is suitable as a theoretical framework for constructing the evaluation system of curriculum ideology and politics teaching in medical schools, which employs scientific indicator construction methods, follows the basic principles of course evaluation, and conforms to the current concept of ideological and political construction of medical curricula, showing certain feasibility and guiding significance.

		                        			 Purpose:
Whether a dilated intrahepatic bile duct (IHBD) has any effect on the prognosis of choledochal cyst (CC) remains controversial. We aimed to summarize the clinical characteristics and prognosis of CC with IHBD dilatation.

		                        			Methods:
One hundred ninety-two children diagnosed with CC were identified, including 127 without IHBD dilatation (group A) and 65 with IHBD dilatation (group B). A retrospective analysis was performed to explore the clinical characteristics and prognosis of CC with IHBD dilatation based on clinical indices, symptoms, and complications.

		                        			Results:
Compared with group A, incidences of jaundice and fever were higher in group B (P = 0.010 and P = 0.033). Preoperative total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, and indirect bilirubin were increased in group B compared to group A (P = 0.005, P < 0.001, and P = 0.014), as were preoperative ALT, AST, γ-GT, and total bile acid (P = 0.006, P = 0.025, P < 0.001, and P = 0.024). The risk of liver fibrosis or cirrhosis was significantly increased for group B compared with group A (P = 0.012) and also occurred earlier in group B (P = 0.006). In the dilated IHBDs, 95.4% (62 of 65) recovered to normal, and more than half of dilated IHBDs (37 of 65) recovered to normal in 1 week.

		                        			Conclusion
Most IHBDs can recover to normal postoperatively in a short time, and proactive treatment is recommended for CC patients with IHBD dilatation for significant abnormal liver functions.

		                        			Abstract
In recent years, the overall incidence of scoliosis in children and adolescents in China is on the rise, and it has become the third largest "killer" affecting the health of children and adolescents in China after obesity and myopia. The dysfunction caused by spinal deformity has no obvious pathological manifestations or clinical symptoms in children and adolescents (except for severe scoliosis). It is easy to be ignored in the early stage, but if it is not intervened in time, this will cause serious damage to the long term prognosis and quality of life of the patients. Therefore, through early scoliosis screening, we can effectively monitor the spinal health status of children and adolescents in China, ensure timely diagnosis of the disease, timely intervention (brace and other conservative treatment), and play the role of early prevention. Avoid further deterioration of scoliosis and surgical intervention. This article will focus on the research progress of screening and conservative treatment of scoliosis.

In recent years, many scholars have explored the clinical application value of a number of peripheral hematology indexes in tumor patients. The significant correlation of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio with the prognosis in various tumors has also been confirmed. At present, more peripheral blood indexes have been gradually applied to the evaluation of the prognosis in patients with malignant tumors. Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a type of highly malignant tumor and most patients are in advanced stage at the time of diagnosis. The evaluation value of tumor stage for survival is extremely limited. Therefore, this review intends to explain the relationship between various peripheral hematology indexes and the prognosis of SCLC patients, so as to provide some academic evidence for the clinical assessment of the survival of SCLC patients and formulation of appropriate treatment strategy, which may contribute to the improvement of the prognosis.

Objective:To study the association between preoperative hemoglobin amount and incidence of lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in patients with lower limb fracture. Methods:A retrospective study was performed of the 2, 482 patients with lower limb fracture who had been treated at Department of Orthopaedics Trauma, Honghui Hospital Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University from July 2014 to August 2019. They were 1, 174 males and 1, 308 females with an age of (60.6±19.3) years. Recorded were the patients' age, gender, injury time, hemoglobin amount, D-dimer measurement, combined medical conditions, time and results of ultrasound vein examination on both lower extremities. According to the ultrasound results, the patients were divided into a thrombosis group and a thrombosis-free group. The 2 groups were compared in hemoglobin amount. Logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between preoperative hemoglobin amount and incidence of lower limb DVT. The patients were divided into 5 groups according to the quintile of hemoglobin amount; the incidences of thrombosis were compared between the 5 groups. Results:The total incidence of DVT in this cohort was 29.53%(733/2, 482). The hemoglobin amount in the thrombosis group was (116.57±19.24) g/L, significantly lower than that in the thrombosis-free group (124.76±19.79) g/L ( P<0.05). The preoperative hemoglobin amount was a risk factor for incidence of DVT after a lower limb fracture ( OR=0.985, 95% CI: 0.980 to 0.990, P<0.001). As the quintile level of hemoglobin increased, the incidence of DVT showed a downward trend. In comparison of the group with the highest DVT incidence (40.58%) and the group with the lowest DVT incidence (17.27%), the risk increased by 2.386 times (95% CI: 1.718 to 3.315). Conclusions:The preoperative hemoglobin amount can affect the DVT incidence after a lower limb fracture, and a low hemoglobin amount may more likely lead to lower limb DVT.
