Objective:To investigate the application value of indocyanine green videoangiography (ICG-VA) in microsurgical clipping of ruptured posterior communicating artery aneurysms (PCoAA).Methods:Patients with ruptured PCoAA underwent microsurgical clipping and intraoperative ICG-VA at the Department of Neurosurgery, Lianyungang First People's Hospital from January 2020 to July 2022 were included retrospectively. Head CT was reviewed 3 days after operation to determine perioperative complications. CT angiography (CTA) or digital subtraction angiography (DSA) were used to evaluate the monitoring effect of ICG-VA. Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) was used to evaluate the clinical outcomes.Results:Thirty-two patients with ruptured PCoAA (a total of 38 aneurysms) were enrolled, including 7 males (21.9%), aged 57.97±8.91 years (range, 40~73). Twenty-seven patients (84.4%) had single aneurysm and 5 (15.6%) had multiple aneurysms (4 patients with 2 aneurysms and 1 with 3 aneurysms). Twenty-four patients (75.0%) had no or mild consciousness disorder, and 8 (25.0%) had moderate to severe consciousness disorder. The aneurysms of all patients were successfully clipped and ICG-VA was performed for a total of 40 times. Five patients with multiple aneurysms underwent precise localization of the parent artery and aneurysmal body using ICG-VA before clipping. After initial clipping, ICG-VA found 3 cases of residual aneurysms. After adjusting or adding aneurismal clips, ICG-VA showed that the residues were eliminated. Three days after the surgery, CT scan showed that 1 patient had right subdural effusion with periventricular infarction, and 1 had subdural effusion. At the final follow-up, CTA or DSA showed no residual aneurysms; the GOS score of 18 patients (56.3%) were 5, 5 patients (15.6%) were 4, and 9 (28.1%) were 3. There were no cases of vegetative state or death.Conclusion:ICG-VA assisted microsurgical clipping of ruptured PCoAA can effectively avoid residual aneurysms and the clinical application value is significant.

Objective:To study the impact of different scattering correction algorithms in the reconstruction of PET/CT images on image artifacts and the precision of quantitative parameters. Methods:The phantom as described in the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) NU2 standard was filled with 18F. The background activity was fixed, and the activity of the solution in the spheres was adjusted to obtain several configurations, including the normal ratio group (4.08∶1) and the extreme ratio group (200∶1). The surface contamination group with the same ratio as the extreme ratio group contained a small radioactive source with different doses of 18F (74, 37, 3.7 and 0.37 MBq) placed at the surface of the phantom. PET/CT images of 30 patients (21 males, 9 females, age: (44.5±10.2) years) from Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute between July 2012 and December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, including 10 with normal images ( 18F-FDG) and 20 with abnormal images (10 with dislocation during acquisition, 10 with surface contamination). The images were reconstructed with relative and absolute scattering correction. The phantom was evaluated using the target to background ratio (TBR) and the artifact classification. CV as well as the artifact classification were used to compare the clinical image quality. Mann-Whitney U test and χ2 test were used to analyze data. Results:In the normal ratio group and the extreme ratio group, the TBRs of phantom images reconstructed with relative correction were significantly higher than those with absolute correction (normal ratio group: 3.30(1.94, 4.53) vs 2.72(1.56, 3.56); z=-2.20, P=0.028; extreme ratio group: 105.47(45.62, 162.82) vs 101.36(43.96, 155.57); z=-1.99, P=0.046). In the surface contamination group, with the increase of the activity of the small source, the artifact became more obvious, and the artifact classification score of absolute correction was significantly better than that of relative correction (1.5(1.0, 2.0) vs 2.5(2.0, 3.0); z=-2.00, P=0.046). In the 10 normal 18F-FDG PET/CT patients, the CVliver of the relative correction (9.67%(8.00%, 11.00%)) was significantly lower than that of absolute correction (11.00%(9.00%, 12.00%); z=-2.57, P=0.010), indicating the higher image quality of images with relative correction. In abnormal images, the image quality of absolute correction was significantly higher than that of relative correction with fewer and less severe artifacts (dislocation cases: 9/10 vs 4/10; χ2=5.50, P=0.019; surface contamination cases: 9/10 vs 4/10; χ2=5.50, P=0.019). Conclusions:The relative scattering correction is suitable for normal situations in clinical PET acquisition. However, with dislocation or surface contamination, the absolute scattering correction helps to reduce the artifacts and improve the image quality.

Objective :
To investigate the role of early inhibition of Toll⁃like receptor 4 (TLR4) in regulating hippampal neuroimmune responseto adolescent ratsafter neonatal hypoxic⁃ischemic brain damage(HIBD) .
Methods:
Postnatal day 7 rats were randomized into controlgroup , hypoxic ischemia (HI) group , and HI + TAK⁃242( the specific inhibitor of TLR4)(TAK⁃242) group. The expression of TLR4 in rat hippocampus was detected by immunohistochemistry at 3 days after HI. Immunofluorescence were used to determine the number of Iba⁃1 + , GFAP + , CD161 + , MPO + and CD3 + cells in the hippocampus at 21 days after HI. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect ICAM⁃1 and C3a expression in the hippocampal CA1 region ; and Western blot was used to detect tumor necrosis factor interleukin IL⁃1β , TNF⁃α and IL⁃10 expression.
Results :
Compared with control group , significantly raised TLR4 expression was observed in the left hippocampal CA1 , CA3 and DG regions(P < 0. 01 or P < 0. 05) , while the expression in the TAK⁃242 group lowered compared to the HI group (P < 0. 05) . The number of GFAP + cells in the CA1 area of the hippocampus in the TAK⁃242 group of neonatal rats decreased compared to which in the HI group at 21 days after HI(P < 0. 05) , but the number of CD3 + T lymphocytes in the hippocampal CA1 area of new born rats in the HI group increased compared to which in the Control group (P < 0. 05) , but the difference between TAK⁃242 and the Control group was not statistically significant. The number of Iba⁃1 + cells , MPO + cells , CD161 + cells , the expression of ICAM⁃1 and C3a in hippocampal CA1 region , and the expression of TNF⁃α , IL⁃1β and IL⁃10 in hippocampus of rats were not different among groups at 21 days after HIBD.
Conclusion
Early inhibition of TLR4 may ameliorate adolescent neuroimmune disorders by reducing the increase of hippocampal astrocytesafter neonatal HIBD.

Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2022;43(6):878-884
Objective:To predicate whether China can achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3.4.1 to reduce the age-standardized mortality rate of four major non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in residents aged 30-70 years by 2030 based on the trend of the mortality from 1990 to 2019.Methods:We collected the mortality data on cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes by age, gender and year in China from the Global Disease Burden Study 2019 (GBD2019). The age-period-cohort (APC) Bayesian model was applied for modeling the age-standardized mortality rate of four major NCDs in China during 2020-2030 according to the trend of the mortality during 1990-2019, and comparing the predicted value in 2030 with the observed value in 2015 to evaluate the possibility of achieving SDGs 3.4.1.Results:The age-standardized mortality rate of the four major NCDs in China showed a downward trend during 1990-2019. It is predicted that the number of death of the four NCDs in Chinese residents aged 30-70 years would increase from 2.96 million in 2020 to 3.19 million in 2030, while the age-standardized mortality rate would decrease from 308.49/100 000 in 2020 to 277.80/100 000 in 2030. The age-standardized mortality rate in 2030 would only decrease by 15.94% (18.73% for males and 14.31% for females) compared with 330.46/100 000 in 2015, with a 25.09% decrease for cardiovascular diseases, 4.76% for cancers, 37.21% for chronic respiratory diseases, and unchanged for diabetes. Conclusion:Although the age-standardized mortality rate of four major NCDs declined from 1990 to 2019 in China, it is difficult to achieve the SDGs of a 1/3 mortality rate reduction by 2030 according to the current declining trend, suggesting more active and effective efforts for NCD prevention and control are needed.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(7):685-688
Abstract
Ischemic stroke is characterized by high morbidity, disability and mortality. At present, there is a lack of effective treatment for ischemic stroke, so it is of great significance to reduce the incidence risk of ischemic stroke. Studies show that vitamin C can prevent atherosclerosis, thus reduce the incidence risk of ischemic stroke. However, this point is controversial due to the differences of study population, inconsistent evaluation methods of vitamin C content and the influence of various confounding factors. This paper reviews the related animal experiments, clinical trials and cohort studies, in order to provide reference for subsequent studies on reducing the incidence risk of ischemic stroke.
