1.Clinical nursing care for Yttrium-90 resin microsphere selective internal radiation therapy on patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

		                        			To summarize the perioperative nursing experiences of 8 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who received Yttrium-90 resin microsphere selective internal radiation therapy (90Y-SIRT) at the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University. Key nursing points: a nursing team should be established prior to the 90Y-SIRT procedure to dynamically assess the patient’s conditions and conduct preoperative education and preparation; during the procedure, nurses should closely coordinate with physicians and ensure radiation protection; after the procedure, strict implementation of radiation nursing, infusion management, puncture site management, and other nursing measures should be enforced, along with discharge safety guidance. After systematic assessment, treatment, and nursing care, all 8 patients successfully underwent the 90Y-SIRT and were discharged. 2.Association Between Vitamin D Status and Insulin Resistance in Adolescents: A Cross-sectional Observational Study

		                        			 To investigate the correlation between vitamin D nutritional status and insulin resistance in pubertal adolescents. This cross-sectional observational study employed convenience sampling to recruit 2021-grade(8th grade) students from Jining No.7 Middle School in Shandong Province on June 5, 2023. Data collection included questionnaires, physical examinations, and imaging assessments to obtain general information, secondary sexual characteristics development, and bone age. Venous blood samples were collected to measure fasting blood glucose(FBG), fasting insulin(FINS), homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR), and 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25(OH)D] levels. Spearman correlation analysis and multivariate linear regression models were used to examine the associations between serum vitamin D levels and FBG, FINS, and HOMA-IR. The study included 168 pubertal adolescents[69 females(41.1%), 99 males(58.9%); mean age(13.27±0.46) years]. All participants had entered puberty based on sexual development assessment. Vitamin D deficiency was observed in 41 participants(24.4%), insufficiency in 109(64.9%), and sufficiency in 18(10.7%). The median HOMA-IR was 3.49(2.57, 5.14).Significant differences were found across vitamin D status groups for HOMA-IR [4.45(2.54, 6.62)  Vitamin D deficiency/insufficiency is prevalent among pubertal adolescents, and serum vitamin D levels show a significant inverse association with insulin resistance. These findings suggest the potential importance of vitamin D status in metabolic health during puberty.
		                        		
		                        	
3.Body Composition Profiles and Associated Factors in Adolescents UndergoingLong-term Regular Exercise

		                        			 To investigate body composition and associated factors in adolescents undergoing long-term regular sports training. This prospective longitudinal cohort study employed convenience sampling to recruit adolescents receiving structured athletic training at Jining Sports Training Center in June 2023. Baseline measurements included height, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, heart rate, waist circumference, and hip circumference. Questionnaires assessed sleep duration, screen time, and household income. Follow-up measurements in June 2024 repeated these assessments while adding bioelectrical impedance analysis for body composition (lean mass, skeletal muscle mass, fat mass, and body fat percentage). Linear regression models examined associations between training type (direct-contact vs. non-contact sports) and follow-up body fat percentage, BMI, and waist circumference as dependent variables, adjusting for covariates. The study included 110 adolescents (39 female, 71 male) with median age 13.21 years (IQR: 12.46-14.33). Participants comprised 65 direct-contact and 45 non-contact athletes. Baseline prevalence rates were 27.27% for overweight/obesity, 24.55% for elevated waist circumference, and 16.36% for elevated blood pressure. At follow-up, corresponding rates were 24.55%, 26.36%, and 13.64% respectively. The elevated blood pressure subgroup showed significantly higher waist circumference ( Despite regular athletic training, substantial proportions of adolescents exhibited overweight/obesity, abdominal obesity, and elevated blood pressure, warranting clinical attention. 4.Polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata Exerts Antitumor Effect by Regulating Bcl-2, Caspase-3 and ERK1/2 Expressions during Long-Time Administration.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To study the in vitro and in vivo antitumor effects of the polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata (PAC) and the underlying mechanism.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			B16F10 and 4T1 cells were cultured with PAC of 40 µg/mL, and PAC was withdrawn after 40 days of administration. The cell viability was detected by cell counting kit-8. The expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 proteins were detected by Western blot and the expressions of ERK1/2 mRNA were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). A mouse melanoma model was established to study the effect of PAC during long-time administration. Mice were divided into 3 treatment groups: control group treated with saline water, positive control group (LNT group) treated with lentinan at 100 mg/(kg·d), and PAC group treated with PAC at 120 mg/(kg·d). The pathological changes of tumor tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The apoptosis of tumor tissues was detected by TUNEL staining. Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 protein expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the expressions of ERK1/2, JNK1 and p38 mRNA were detected by qRT-PCR.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			In vitro, no strong inhibitory effects of PAC were found in various tumor cells after 48 or 72 h of administration. Interestingly however, after 40 days of cultivation under PAC, an inhibitory effect on B16F10 cells was found. Correspondingly, the long-time administration of PAC led to downregulation of Bcl-2 protein (P<0.05), up-regulation of Caspase-3 protein (P<0.05) and ERK1 mRNA (P<0.05) in B16F10 cells. The above results were verified by in vivo experiments. In addition, viability of B16F10 cells under long-time administration culture in vitro decreased after drug withdrawal, and similar results were also observed in 4T1 cells.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSIONS
		                        			Long-time administration of PAC can significantly inhibit viability and promote apoptosis of tumor cells, and had obvious antitumor effect in tumor-bearing mice.

7.Progression of the methods and skills of anastomosis techniques in minimally invasive esophagectomy

		                        			Minimally invasive esophagectomy is the preferred treatment for esophageal cancer, which has been widely popularized and developed in clinical practice. However, anastomotic complications are still common, such as anastomotic leakage, anastomotic stenosis, and gastroesophageal reflux, which seriously affect the rapid recovery and quality of life of patients after surgery. Esophagogastrostomy is the core and difficulty of the operation. In recent years, different esophagogastric anastomosis methods and techniques have been found to reduce the incidence of anastomotic complications and improve clinical outcomes. 		                        			Lumbar interbody fusion is a surgical method for treating lumbar degenerative diseases. By establishing the stability of the lumbar segment, it solves the related symptoms caused by lumbar degenerative diseases. Minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(MIS-TLIF) is a mature technology for treating lumbar degenerative diseases and improving the stability of the lumbar segment. In recent years, the emergence of lumbar interbody fusion under the small-channel working tube has made it have more minimally invasive characteristics compared to MIS-TLIF, with smaller incisions, less bleeding, and shorter recovery time. However, due to its long operation time, low efficiency of endplate treatment, and high complications incidence rate, it has not been widely popularized. At present, the large-channel endoscopic system, because of its larger field of view under the endoscope and more efficient endoscopic operation tools, reduces the operation time, improves the efficiency of endplate treatment, and reduces the postoperative related complications incidence rate. According to the surgical approach, it can be divided into transforaminal approach, posterior approach, oblique anterior approach, etc. According to the channel mode, it can also be divided into uniaxial endoscopy and unilateral dual-channel endoscopy, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Nowadays, the safety and effectiveness of spinal endoscopic posterior lumbar interbody fusion(Endo-PLIF) under the large-channel have achieved satisfactory results. 10.Therapeutic effect of calcaneal beak-like fracture secondary to calcaneal osteomyelitis caused by diabetic foot

		                        			Objective To explore clinical effect of vancomycin calcium sulfate combined with internal fixation on cal-caneal beak-like fracture secondary to calcaneal osteomyelitis caused by diabetic foot.Methods From April 2018 to October 2021,a retrospective analysis was performed on 5 patients with calcaneal bone osteomyelitis secondary to diabetic foot,includ-ing 2 males and 3 females,aged from 48 to 60 years old;diabetes course ranged from 5 to 13 years;the courses of diabetic foot disease ranged from 18 to 52 days;5 patients were grade Ⅲ according to Wagner classification.All patients were treated with debridement,vancomycin bone cement implantation,negative pressure aspiration at stage Ⅰ,vancomycin calcium sulfate and internal fixation at stage Ⅱ for calcaneal beak-like fracture.Surgical incision and fracture healing time were recorded,and the recurrence of osteomyelitis was observed.American Orthopedic Foot Andankle Society(AOFAS)score and exudation at 12 months after operation were evaluated.Results Five patients were successfully completed operation without lower extremity vascular occlusion,and were followed up for 16 to 36 months.The wound healing time after internal fixation ranged from 16 to 26 days,and healing time of fractures ranged from 16 to 27 weeks.AOFAS score ranged from 65 to 91 at 12 months after oper-ation,and 2 patients got excellent result,2 good and 1 fair.Among them,1 patient with skin ulcer on the back of foot caused by scalding at 5 months after operation(non-complication),was recovered after treatment;the wound leakage complication oc-curred in 2 patients,and were recovered after dressing change.No osteomyelitis or fracture occurred in all patients.Conclusion Vancomycin calcium sulfate with internal fixation in treating calcaneal osteomyelitis secondary to calcaneal osteomyelitis caused by diabetic foot could not only control infection,but also promote fracture healing,and obtain good clinical results.
