ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the dynamic changes in general body parameters, blood glucose, and blood lipid profiles in obese cynomolgus monkeys, exploring the correlations among these parameters and providing a reference for research on the obese cynomolgus monkey model. Methods30 normal male cynomolgus monkeys aged 5 - 17 years old (with body mass index < 35 kg/m² and glycated hemoglobin content < 4.50%) and 99 spontaneously obese male cynomolgus monkeys (with body mass index ≥35 kg/m² and glycated hemoglobin content < 4.50%) were selected. Over a period of three years, their abdominal circumference, skinfold thickness, body weight, body mass index, fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, and four blood lipid indicators were monitored. The correlations between each indicator were analyzed using repeated measurement ANOVA, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression correlation analysis method. Results Compared to the control group, the obese group exhibited significantly higher levels of abdominal circumference, skinfold thickness, body weight, body mass index, and triglyceride (P＜0.05). In the control group, skinfold thickness increased annually, while other indicators remained stable. Compared with the first year, the obese group showed significantly increased abdominal circumference, skinfold thickness, body weight, body mass index, triglyceride, and fasting blood glucose in the second year(P＜0.05), with this increasing trend persisting in the third year (P＜0.05). In the control group, the obesity incidence rates in the second and third years were 16.67% and 23.33%, respectively, while the prevalence of diabetes remained at 16.67%. In the obese group, the diabetes incidence rates were 29.29% and 44.44% in years 2 and 3, respectively. Among the 11-13 year age group, the incidence rates were 36.36% and 44.68%, while for the group older than 13 years, the rates were 28.13% and 51.35%. Correlation analysis revealed significant associations (P＜0.05) between fasting blood glucose and age, abdominal circumference, skinfold thickness, body weight, and triglyceride in the diabetic monkeys. Conclusion Long-term obesity can lead to the increases in general physical indicators and fasting blood glucose levels in cynomolgus monkeys, and an increase in the incidence of diabetes. In diabetic cynomolgus monkeys caused by obesity, there is a high correlation between their fasting blood glucose and age, weight, abdominal circumference, skinfold thickness, and triglyceride levels, which is of some significance for predicting the occurrence of spontaneous diabetes.

The dysfunction of qi, blood, and fluid underlies the pathology of diabetes mellitus. The symptoms, signs, and physical and chemical indexes of diabetes mellitus patients reflect the duration, degree, primary and secondary pathological state of the abnormal metabolism of qi, blood, and fluid. It is necessary to construct a three-dimensional syndrome differentiation system of diabetes mellitus based on spatial and temporal dimensions. According to the four stages of depression, heat, deficiency, and damage, the location of the disease can be locked into qi, ying, and blood levels. The process reflects the pathological trend of the abnormal metabolism of qi, blood, and fluid: qi depression (prodromal stage: asymptomatic metabolic disorder/early stage of qi level) → qi heat (initial stage: index stage/late stage of qi level) → deficiency of both qi and yin (middle stage: symptom stage of three more and one less/stage of ying level) → damage of zang-fu viscera and meridians (late stage: complication stage/stage of blood level). According to the time process, the treatment principles are proposed as follows: during the early stage of qi level, treatment should focus on strengthening the spleen to regulate qi flow, to prevent the accumulation of glucose; during the late stage of qi level, treatment should focus on clearing heat and resolving turbidity, to remove the stagnated heat caused by glucose; during the stage of ying level, treatment should focus on benefiting qi and nourishing yin, to improve the symptoms about deficiency of both qi and yin; during the stage of blood level, treatment should focus on promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, to remove the complication. According to the etiology and pathogenesis of diabetes mellitus, the sequential treatment strategy is thus proposed, which is strengthening the spleen to regulate qi flow, clearing heat and resolving turbidity, benefiting qi and nourishing yin, and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. The compound prescriptions such as Houpo Sanwu Decoction, Baihu Jia Renshen Decoction, Danggui Liuhuang Decoction, and Taohong Siwu Decoction are used with modification in the stage-based treatment.

It consists of Ostreae Concha， Astragali Radix， Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma， and wheat， with the effect of replenishing qi and stopping sweating. It is a common formula in the clinical treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. This study analyzes the historical evolution， composition， dosage， original plants and their processing methods， decocting method， efficacy， indications， and modern clinical application of Mulisan by tracing， comparative analysis， and bibliometric methods. The results showed that Mulisan firstly appeared in the Pulse Classic written by WANG Shuhe in the Western Jin Dynasty. The formulation idea can be traced back to the Important Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold for Emergency in the Tang Dynasty. The herb composition， dosage， efficacy， and indications of Mulisan were first recorded in the Treatise on Diseases， Patterns， and formulas Related to Unification of the Three Etiologies in the Southern Song dynasty. In terms of original plants and their processing methods， Ostreae Concha is the shell of Ostrea rivularis， which should be calcined before use. Astragali Radix and Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma are the dried roots of Astragalus membranaceus var. mongholicus and Ephedra sinica， respectively， the raw material of which should be used. Wheat is the dried mature fruit of T. aestivum， which can be used without processing， while the stir-fried fruit， being thin and deflated， demonstrates better effect. The composition of Mulisan is Ostreae Concha 8.26 g， Astragali Radix 8.26 g， Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma 8.26 g， and wheat 7.92 g. The medicinal materials should be ground into coarse powder and decocted with 450 mL water to reach a volume of 240 mL， and the decoction should be taken warm. In modern clinical practice， Mulisan has a wide range of indications， including spontaneous sweating and night sweating caused by Yang deficiency or Qi deficiency. The clinical disease spectrum treated by Mulisan involves endocrine system diseases， neurological diseases， respiratory system diseases， and cancer. This formula plays a significant role in the treatment of internal medicine diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with bloodletting and cupping in the treatment of chronic spontaneous urticaria（CSU） and to explore its potential mechanisms of action. MethodsSeventy CSU patients were randomly divided into loratadine group and acupuncture + bloodletting group， with 35 patients in each group. The loratadine group received oral loratadine tablets， 10 mg once daily in the evening. The acupuncture + bloodletting group received acupuncture at Zhongwan （CV 12）， Guanyuan （CV 4）， Tianshu （ST 25）， Zusanli （ST 36）， Sanyinjiao （SP 6）， Xuehai （SP 10）， Quchi （LI 11）， Hegu （LI 4）， Taichong （LR 3）， Baihui （GV 20）， and Shenting （GV 24）， once daily，along with bloodletting and cupping at Dazhui （GV 14） and Geshu （BL 17）， every other day. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The 7-day urticaria activity score（UAS7） was assessed before and after the treatment， and levels of serum immunoglobulin E （IgE）， interleukin-4 （IL-4）， interleukin-5 （IL-5）， eosinophil cationic protein （ECP）， plasma tissue factor （TF）， activated factor Ⅶ （FⅦa）， prothrombin fragment 1+2 （F1+2）， D-dimer （D-D） and complement component 5a （C5a） were detected. ResultsA total of 65 patients were included in the final analysis， 32 in the loratadine group and 33 in the acupuncture + bloodletting group. Before treatment， there was no significant difference in UAS7 score， serum IgE， IL-4， IL-5， ECP levels， or plasma TF， FⅦa， F1+2， D-D， C5a levels between groups （P＞ 0.05）. After treatment， both groups showed significant reductions in UAS7 score， serum IgE， IL-4， IL-5， and plasma TF， FⅦa， F1+2， D-D， and C5a levels compared to those before treatment （P＜0.01）. However， after treatment， there was no significant difference in UAS7 score and serum ECP， IgE， IL-4， IL-5 levels between groups （P＞0.05）. The acupuncture + bloodletting group showed lower plasma TF， FⅦa， F1+2， D-D and C5a levels compared to the loratadine group （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. ConclusionAcupuncture combined with bloodletting and cupping can effectively improve the skin symptoms of CSU patients and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors. The potential mechanism of action may involve the regulation of the coagulation-complement-mast cell activation axis， thereby inhibiting mast cell degranulation.

PURPOSE: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of the ultrasonic jaw tracking system by comparing with the conventional electronic system in recording condylar movements. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Twenty-six subjects with normal occlusion participated in the study. The CADIAX® 4 and Jaw Motion Analyzer (JMA) systems were used to record condylar movement trajectories during mandibular border movements (protrusive/retrusive, lateral, and wide mouth opening), with each movement repeated three times. Both systems used facebows and sensors to locate the condylar axis points and capture movement trajectory data. Paired t-tests were used for normally distributed data, while the Wilcoxon rank-sum test was applied to non-normally distributed data. The level of significance was set at α = .05. RESULTS: The maximum condylar displacement in the sagittal plane during mandibular border movements and the sagittal condylar inclination (SCI) values on both the left and right sides showed no significant difference between the two systems (P > .05). The Bennett angle (BA) values on both the left and right sides measured by the JMA system were significantly higher than those measured by the CADIAX® 4 system (P < .05). The comfort levels of the JMA system were significantly higher than the CADIAX® 4 system (P < .05). CONCLUSION Through this study, it was found that the accuracy of the ultrasonic jaw tracking system was comparable with the conventional electronic system, except for the Bennett angle measurement. In terms of comfort and ease of use, the ultrasonic jaw tracking system is more favored.

Objective: To understand 24 h physical activity levels of children aged 8-9 years in Pudong New Area and to explore its association with metabolic syndrome, so as to provide scientific basis for children s participation in physical activities and reducing the risk of metabolic syndrome. Methods: A stratified cluster random sampling method was adopted to select 13 schools in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. A total of 2 013 primary school students aged 8-9 years old were included as the research subjects. During September 2021 to December 2022, Actigraph GT3X accelerometer, height measuring gauge, electronic sphygmomanometer and waist circumference tape was used to measure physical activity, height, blood pressure and waist circumference, respectively. A total of 5 mL of venous blood was collected from students, and the levels of triglycerides (TG), highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) were detected, and online questionnaires were conducted. The ttest and oneway ANOVA were employed to compare the differences in 24 h physical activity levels among children with different characteristics. Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the association between the 24 h physical activity levels and metabolic syndrome as well as its components. Results: Among primary school students, the average daily time of moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) was (34.25±13.49)min, the attainment rate was 1.59%. The average daily sleep (SLP) time was (538.27±28.53) min, attainment rate was 1.89%. The detection rates of metabolic syndrome, abdominal obesity (AO), elevated blood pressure (BP), elevated TG, low HDL-C, and elevated FPG were 2.48%, 34.53%, 10.38%, 10.73%, 1.24% and 0.70%, respectively. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that, for every 10minute increase in sedentary behavior (SB) time, the risks of AO, elevated BP, and elevated TG increased by 2% ( OR=1.02, 95%CI =1.01-1.04), 5% ( OR=1.05, 95%CI =1.01-1.08), and 6% ( OR= 1.06, 95%CI =1.02-1.11), respectively ( P <0.05). For every 10minute increase in MVPA time, the risk of metabolic syndrome decreased by 27% ( OR=0.73, 95%CI=0.57-0.93, P <0.05). For every 10 minute increase in SLP time, the risks of AO, elevated BP, and metabolic syndrome decreased by 16% ( OR=0.84, 95%CI =0.80-0.88), 9% ( OR=0.91, 95%CI =0.82- 0.99 ), and 15% ( OR=0.85, 95%CI =0.77-0.94), respectively （P <0.05). Conclusions The time of MVPA and SLP are seriously insufficient among children aged 8-9 years in Pudong New Area. There is an association between physical activity levels and metabolic syndrome as well as its components. Increasing the time of MVPA and SLP is of great significance for maintaining a relatively low risk of metabolic syndrome in children.

ObjectiveTo explore the differences in the accumulation of secondary metabolites of Dendrobium nobile cultivated on epiphytic stones and trees， so as to elucidate the scientific connotation of "only those that grow on stones has superior quality"， and provide a direction for the cultivation and quality evaluation of D. nobile. MethodsUltra-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole/linear ion trap mass spectrometry（UPLC-QTRAP-MS/MS）-based widely targeted metabolomics was used to detect the metabolites of D. nobile cultivated on epiphytic stones and trees. And the combination of principal component analysis（PCA）， hierarchical cluster analysis（HCA）， and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA） was performed for multivariate statistical analysis of metabolites. Differential metabolites were screened by variable importance in the projection（VIP） value≥1 and log₂fold change（FC）≥1 or ≤-1， and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes（KEGG） enrichment analysis was conducted. ResultsA total of 1 267 metabolites were identified in the stems of D. nobile from the two cultivation modes， dominated by flavonoids（292）， phenolic acids（284）， and alkaloids（189）. Through OPLS-DA screening， 473 differential metabolites were obtained. Compared to epiphytic tree-cultivated D. nobile， epiphytic stone-cultivated D. nobile exhibited upregulation of flavonoids， phenolic acids， alkaloids， lignans and coumarins， while quinones and terpenoids were down-regulated. The differential metabolites mainly included flavonoid glycosides and alkaloids， and these differential metabolites significantly contributed to characterizing the two cultivation patterns. KEGG enrichment analysis revealed significant enrichment in pathways of flavone and flavonol biosynthesis， flavonoid biosynthesis， tyrosine metabolism， and phenylalanine metabolism in epiphytic stone-cultivated D. nobile. ConclusionEpiphytic stone cultivation is beneficial for the accumulation of phenolic acids， flavonoids， and alkaloids in D. nobile， indicating that the "only those that grow on stones has superior quality" documented in the materia medica has certain scientific basis， and the findings also provide a reference for quality evaluation and discrimination research between epiphytic stone and tree cultivated D. nobile.

Objective To construct and validate a competency model for mental health professionals. Methods The literature analysis method, semi-structured expert interview method and Delphi method were used to construct the job competency model of mental health professionals. The hierarchical analysis method was used to construct the judgment matrix of each index and determine its weight coefficient. A total of 23 psychiatrists were selected as the validation subjects using the convenience sampling method to validate the model's effectiveness. Results The recovery rate of the valid correspondence questionnaire in this study was 100%, with an expert authority degree of 0.823, a coefficient of variation ranging from 0.070 to 0.101, and Kendall's W of 0.627-0.763 (all P<0.001). The constructed job competency model includes five primary indicators and 38 secondary indicators. The results of the consistency test (CR) showed that the CR value of the primary indicators was 0.028, and the CR values of the secondary indicators were 0.041, 0.034, 0.015, 0.020, and 0.032. The results of the hierarchical analysis showed that the weight ranking, in descending order, for primary indicators was knowledge, skills, ethical quality, intrinsic motivation, and personal traits. The top five secondary indicator combinations with the highest weights were basic clinical medicine knowledge, mental health professional knowledge, clinical diagnosis and treatment ability, medical ethics knowledge, and dedication to the job. The results of the validation analysis showed that the model scores for the 23 psychiatrists were consistent with their annual unit assessment results. Conclusion The constructed job competency model for mental health professionals can provide a reference for training and evaluation in mental health workforce development.

Occupational health technical service (OHTS) is one of the core contents in the technical support system of occupational disease prevention and control, and efficient management of OHTS institutions is necessary for improving the service ability. At present, OHTS institutions in China face several issues, such as uneven distribution in terms of quantity, function, unclear area coverage and roles and overlapping responsibilities among different types of institutions, and insufficient service capabilities with inconsistent service levels in some institutions. With the implementation of the national reform like the “separating permits from business license” and “delegate power, streamline administration and optimize government services"”policies, the management mode and operational approach of OHTS institutions have been profoundly changed. In light of this, five key recommendations are proposed to improve the management of OHTS institutions and enhance their management effectiveness, ensuring the sustainable development of national OHTS services. Firstly, it is necessary to clarify the relationship between national and provincial administrative levels in managing OHTS institutions to ensure their healthy and orderly development. Secondly, multiple measurements are taken to strengthen OHTS institutional capacity building to address regional disparities in technical capabilities and service quality. Thirdly, both technical capabilities and service quality should be focused on strengthening the supervision and management of OHTS institutions, preventing the decline of key conditions such as staffing, laboratories, equipment, and quality management after obtaining qualifications. Fourthly, “dual randomized- inspections and one open” and “internet+supervision” methods are used as basic tools for managing OHTS institutions operating across multiple provincial regions and enforcing cross-regional law. Fifthly, professional integrity of radiological health service institutions should be restored to effectively apply their technical advantages in their specialized fields.
