2.Impact of different obesity patterns on coronary microvascular function in male patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease.

		                        			Objective: This study sought to investigate the impact of different obesity patterns on coronary microvascular function in male patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of male patients diagnosed with suspected coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University between December 2015 and August 2021. All patients underwent the one-day rest and stress 13N-ammonia positron emission tomography myocardial perfusion imaging. Overall obesity was defined by body mass index (BMI) ≥28 kg/m2 and abdominal obesity was defined by waist circumference ≥90 cm. Hyperemic myocardial blood flow (MBF)<2.3 ml·min-1·g-1 or coronary flow reserve (CFR)<2.5 were referred as CMD. All patients were grouped based on their BMI and waist circumference. MBF, CFR, the incidence of CMD, hemodynamic parameters, and cardiac function were compared among the groups. Results: A total of 136 patients were included. According to BMI and waist circumference, patients were categorized into 3 groups: control group (n=45), simple abdominal obesity group (n=53) and compound obesity group (n=38). Resting MBF did not differ between groups (F=0.02,P=0.994). Compared with the control group, hyperemic MBF was significantly lower in the simple abdominal obesity and compound obesity groups ((2.82±0.64) ml·min-1·g-1, (2.44±0.85) ml·min-1·g-1 and (2.49±0.71) ml·min-1·g-1, both P<0.05, respectively). Hyperemic MBF was comparable among the groups of patients with obesity (P=0.772). CFR was significantly lower in the simle abdominal obesity group compared with the control group (2.87±0.99 vs. 3.32±0.62,P=0.012). Compared with the control group, CFR tended to be lower in the compound obesity group (3.02±0.91 vs. 3.32±0.62,P=0.117). The incidence of CMD was significantly higher in both the simple abdominal obesity and compound obesity groups than in the control group (62.3%, 52.6% vs. 22.2%, both P<0.01, respectively). Waist circumference was an independent risk factor for male CMD (OR=1.057, 95%CI: 1.013-1.103, P=0.011). Conclusions: In male patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease, abdominal obesity is associated with decreased coronary microvascular function. 4.Clinical observation of acupoint application of Chinese herbal medicine in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting after orthopaedic surgery under general anesthesia.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To explore clinical effect of acupoint application of Chinese herbal medicine in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting after orthopaedic surgery under general anesthesia.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			From January 2018 to December 2019, 168 patients who met inclusion criteria and were underwent selective spine surgery, were double-blind divided into two groups according to central random system, 84 patients in each group. In control group, there were 39 males and 45 females aged from 30 to 65 years old with an average of (53.83±9.17) years old, 37 patients were classified to typeⅠand 47 patients were typeⅡ according to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grading. In experiment group, there were 39 males and 45 females aged from 30 to 65 years old with an average of (54.08±9.00) years old; 32 patients were classified to typeⅠand 52 patients were typeⅡ according to ASA grading. Both of two groups were obtained acupoint application before anesthesia induction, and acupoint application were put on 
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			There were no statistical differences in incidence of nausea vomiting, VAS of narusea degree at 24 h after operation (
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION

		                        			 The surface and interface,as the transition region between two phases,belongs to the category of physical chemistry.At present,it is widely used in materials and other scientific fields.Meanwhile,this property also plays an important role in pharmaceutical research.The interface layer involved in the progress of pharmaceutical preparations is connected with the two-phase or three-phase between gas,liquid and solid closely.The interface effect will affect the final shaping of pharmaceutical preparations and the dissolution and absorption of drugs in the human body.In this paper,the surface and interface characteristics(specific surface area,surfacial and interfacial tension and surface Gibbs free energy) were compared,and the application of interface phenomena(wetting,solubilization and emulsification) in pharmaceutical research were introduced.From the points of view of the progress control of pharmaceutical preparations and the effectiveness of their products,the article expounds the important role of properties of surface and interface in the field of pharmaceutical preparations.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the properties of surface and interface,one of the key physical properties of drugs,and to apply them in the pharmaceutical research. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7. Effect of Shuangyu Tiaozhi Decoction on NPC1L1 and ABCG8 in Intestine of Hyperlipemic Model Rats

		                        			 Objective:To observe the expression levels of niemann-pick C1-like 1 (NPC1L1) and adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette transporters G8 (ABCG8) in intestine of hyperlipidemic model rats, in order to investigate the therapeutic mechanism of Shuangyu Tiaozhi decoction on hyperlipidemia. Method:A total of 40 SD rats were selected, including 8 for normal control group. The remaining 32 rats were used to establish hyperlipemic model. After modeling, the rats were randomly divided into the model group (equivalent normal saline), the high and low-dose Shuangyu Tiaozhi groups (15.6, 7.8 g·kg-1), and the Simvastatin group (4 mg·kg-1), with 8 in each group. They were given drugs by gavage for 8 weeks. The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) in serum and total cholesterol (TTC), free cholesterol (FTC) in liver of rats in each group were determined by biochemical and enzymatic methods. The morphological changes of liver were observed by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, and the levels of expressions of NPC1L1, ABCG8 and liver X receptor-α (LXR-α) in intestine were detected by Real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (Real-time PCR) and Western blot. The expression of ABCG8 protein was determined by immunohistochemistry. Result:After successful replication of the hyperlipidemia model, the blood lipid level was abnormally increased, and the liver steatosis became obvious in the model group compared with the normal control group. The expression levels of NPC1L1, LXR-α and ABCG8 increased significantly (P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the blood lipid levels were significantly reduced in the Shuangyu Tiaozhi decoction group. The expressions of NPC1L1 and LXR-α were significantly down-regulated, but ABCG8 was obviously up-regulated in a dose-dependent manner (P<0.05, P<0.01). The results of immunohistochemistry indicated that the protein expression of ABCG8 in intestine of the model group increased significantly (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the expression of ABCG8 in each drug-administered groups increased obviously (P<0.05, P<0.01), especially in high-dose Shuangyu Tiaozhi group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Shuangyu Tiaozhi decoction can reduce the blood lipid level of hyperlipemic rat model by reducing the absorption of cholesterol. Its mechanism may be correlated with the down-regulation of NPC1L1 expression and the up-regulation of ABCG8 expression. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
8. Determination and Analysis of Heavy Metals of Paridis Rhizoma from Different Localities and Pieces

		                        			 Objective:To analyze and determine heavy metal content in Paridis Rhizoma from different genus and localities,in order to provide a reference for selecting cultivation areas and establishing the quality standard of Paridis Rhizoma of heavy metals content. Method:Microwave digestion method combined with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry method (ICP-AES) method were applied to determine the contents of 6 heavy metals,i.e. As,Cu,Hg,Cd,Pb and Cr in 39 samples of Paridis Rhizoma of different genus and localities in Yunnan Province. Cluster analysis,statistical analysis and principal component analysis (PCA) were used to compare the differences of heavy metals contents in different localities and species. Result:The contents of six heavy metals in Paridis Rhizoma met the ISO international standard of Heavy Metal Limit of Traditional Chinese Medicine-traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials. Under the limited value standard of Green Trade Standards of Importing Medicinal Plants and Preparations,the over-standard rate of heavy metal As was 15.4%,the excess rate of Cd was 5.1%,and the excess rate of Pb was 2.6%. The contents of Cu and Hg conformed to relevant requirements. Cluster analysis,statistical analysis and principal component analysis showed that for the same variety,differences in producing places had significant effects on heavy metal content,while differences in species had little effects. Conclusion:The results of this study indicated that the heavy metal content of Paris planted in and around Dali basically conformed to relevant standards. The differences of heavy metal content in Paris were mainly regional differences,which provided a theoretical basis for standardizing the cultivation of medicinal materials and formulating the limit standards of heavy metals for Paridis Rhizoma. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
9.Efficacy and peripheral immunity analysis of allogeneic natural killer cells therapy in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To evaluate the safety and efficacy of allogeneic natural killer (NK) cells in the treatment of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and to elucidate the mechanism of NK cells therapy.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			Twenty-one patients with primary HCC treated with allogeneic NK cells at the Fifth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital were followed up for 1 year. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from patient-related donors and cultured in vitro for 15 days and infused to the patients in two consecutive days. Clinical data and laboratory data were collected and analyzed, including survival, clinical features, imaging changes, hematology, immunology, and biochemical indicators to evaluate the safety and efficacy of allogeneic NK cell therapy. The changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets after treatment were also analyzed to explore the possible anti-tumor mechanisms.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			(1) Of the 21 patients with primary HCC, 11 patients were treated once, 5 patients were treated twice, and 5 patients were treated 3 times. After allogeneic NK cells infusion, 10 patients had fever, 1 patient had slight hepatalgia and 1 patient had slight headache, no other adverse events occurred including acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). They resolved spontaneously within 8 hours without other treatment. (2) The total disease control rate was 76.2% during one-year follow-up. Among them, the patients with Barcelona clinic liver cancer (BCLC) stage A had a disease control rate of 100%, stable disease (SD) in 10 cases; BCLC stage B patients had a disease control rate of 60%, partial response (PR) in 1 case, and SD 2 in cases; BCLC stage C patients had a disease control rate of 50%, complete response (CR) in 1 case, and 2 cases of PR. (3) The frequencies of NK cells and CD8+ T cells in peripheral blood were significantly lower than that before at 24 hours after treatment, and the frequencies of CD4+ T cells and CD4/CD8 were significantly higher than the baseline.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			Allogeneic NK cells have good safety and efficacy in the treatment of primary HCC. The anti-tumor effect of the allogeneic NK cells may play an important role in the activation of the patient's natural immune system and delay disease progression, suggesting that allogeneic NK cells combined with sorafenib may be a very effective treatment for advanced HCC, and further large-sample multicenter randomized controlled clinical trials are needed to validate this result.
