Objective To observe the intervention effect of acupuncture at"Zusanli"(ST36)or"Neiguan"(PC6)on the ulcerative colitis(UC)model mice. And to analyze the similarities and differences of gene transcription expression between the diseased colon and the non-diseased heart after acupuncture intervention by using transcriptomics,to explore whether there are efficacy differences between the two acupoints. Methods The UC mouse model was established by inducing dextran sulfate sodium salt(DSS).After successful modeling, the mice were randomly divided into model group,Zusanli group, and Neiguan group, with 9 mice in each group.Zusanli group and Neiguan group intervened with acupuncture at"Zusanli"and"Neiguan",respectively,30 min each time, once a day,for 5 consecutive days. The control and model groups were only bound without acupuncture.Observe the general situation of mice in each group, calculate the disease activity index(DAI),observe the morphological changes of colon tissue by HE staining.Use transcriptome sequencing technology to sequence and biologically analyze the colon tissue of mice in each group, and compare and study whether the two acupoints have differences in acupoint efficacy from the perspective of diseased tissue. At the same time, take the heart tissues of each group for comparative analysis, and discuss whether the effects of the two acupoints are different from the perspective of non-diseased tissue. Results Compared with control group, the DAI score of the model group increased significantly(P<0.001),and HE staining results showed significant pathological damage;after acupuncture at Zusanli or Neiguan, the DAI scores of UC mice were reduced considerably(P<0.05),and the pathological damage was significantly improved. The results of transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis showed that the effects of acupuncture at Zusanli or Neiguan on the colon of diseased tissue involved multiple genes, and 825 differential genes with similar changes(co-DEGs)were mainly enriched in white blood cells and chemokine pathways;there were 168 differentially expressed genes(ST36 only-DEGs)affected only by Zusanli, which were enriched to gastric acid secretion and other pathways;there were 325 differentially expressed genes(PC6 only-DEGs)only affected by Neiguan, which were enriched in cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction and other pathways. There were 95 co-DEGs in the heart of non-diseased tissue, which were mainly enriched in positive regulation of defense response and response to interleukin-1;there were 28 ST36 only-DEGs;there were114 PC6 only-DEGs,which were enriched in cardiovascular diseases and other pathways. Conclusion Acupuncture of"Zusanli"and"Neiguan"could improve UC mice's symptoms and pathological colon changes. However, through transcriptomic analysis,it was found that the two acupoints had differences in gene transcription effects on the colon of diseased tissue and the heart of non-diseased tissue, suggesting that acupoints with different distribution positions had some similarities in macro efficacy.Still, there were some differences at a micro level.

Objective To explore the effects of different acupoints, different target organs, and different interventions on acupoint efficacy based on ACU&MOX-DATA platform; To illustrate and visualize whether the above factors have the characteristics of"specific effect"or"common effect"of acupoint efficacy. Methods The multi-source heterogeneous data were integrated from the original omics data and public omics data. After standardization, differential gene analysis, disease pathology network analysis, and enrichment analysis were performed using Batch Search and Stimulation Mode modules in ACU&MOX-DATA platform under the conditions of different acupoints, different target organs, and different interventions. Results Under the same disease state and the same intervention, there were differences in effects among different acupoints;under the same disease state, the same acupoint and intervention, the responses produced by different target organs were not completely consistent;under the same disease state and acupoint, there were differences in effects among different intervention measures. Conclusion Based on the analysis of ACU&MOX-DATA platform,it is preliminary clear that acupoints, target organs, and interventions are the key factors affecting acupoint efficacy.Meanwhile, the above results have indicated that there are specific or common regulatory characteristics of acupoint efficacy.Applying ACU&MOX-DATA platform to analyze and visualize the critical scientific problems in the field of acupuncture and moxibustion can provide references for deepening acupoint cognition, guiding clinical acupoint selection, and improving clinical efficacy.

Medical Physics is an interdiscipline which is formed by applying the basic principles, methods, and techniques of physics to clinical medical research such as prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human diseases, and it is a compulsory professional basic course for medical students. However, there are many medical students reflect that the content of this course is obscure and difficult to understand. Teaching effect is not ideal. The main reasons are that the teaching method is single and the reference materials are few. Based on the actual situation of the course, Hebei Medical University, China promotes formative evaluation from the content of teaching materials, teaching means, and other aspects. At the same time, by combining with the Internet, the digital construction has been realized, deepening the reform of the Medical Physics curriculum, and remarkable results have been achieved.

		                        			BACKGROUND:
Idiopathic scoliosis (IS) affects patients' quality of life, yet there have been few reports of its morphology and epidemiological study in the southeast region of China. The aim of this study is to access the curve characteristics, prevalence, and factors associated with IS in Chaozhou city.

		                        			METHODS:
A cross-sectional study was performed in 2018, in which scoliosis screening was conducted among 5497 primary school students in Chaozhou city. Then, a case-control study based on the screening involving 2547 children was followed for the exploration of the associated factors. The questionnaires covering demographic characteristics, postural habits, cognition and self-sensation of scoliosis, and physical conditions were addressed for the investigation. ORs with 95%CIs were calculated based on logistic regression analysis to evaluate the factors associated with scoliosis.

		                        			RESULTS:
The prevalence of IS among primary school students was 6.15% in Chaozhou city, with 4.04% for males and 8.71% for females. The average Cobb angle was 15° (range 8 to 37°). Multiple logistic regression analysis suggested that female (OR=2.45), BMI (OR=0.67), having myopia (OR=1.49), self-sensation of scoliosis with symptoms (OR=5.52), insufficient sleep time (OR=2.65, 3.33), and less exercise time (OR=7.09, 7.29) were significantly associated with IS.

		                        			CONCLUSIONS
The prevalence of IS among primary school students in Chaozhou was at an average level, and it was significantly higher in females than in males. Lower body mass, having myopia, insufficient sleep time, and lower physical activity were associated with IS.

Objective To explore the characteristics of gait and surface electromyography (sEMG) of underwater treadmill training (UWTT). Methods From January to September, 2015, gait and sEMG parameters of ten healthy adults were synchronously collected using three-dimensional gait analysis system and sEMG systems on land and UWTT. Results When walking in self comfortable speed, compared with walk on land, there was significant increase in gait cycle (t=-11.411, P<0.001) and percentage of the swing phase (t=-5.252, P<0.05), significant reduction in walking speed (Z=-2.803, P<0.01) and step frequency (t=7.421, P<0.001). There was no significant difference in step strength (Z=-0.357, P>0.05). The integral electromyography of biceps femoris, gastrocnemius, tibialis anterior muscle were significant less than iEMG on land (t>3.984, P<0.01), but no significant difference of rectus femoris (t=0.054, P>0.05). Conclusion There are signifi-cant differences in gait and muscle contraction intensity between land walking and UWTT. The dynamic physiology and neural control of UWTT need further study.

Objective To study the clinical effect of manipulation in the treatment of cervical vertigo due to atlantoaxial joint disorder. Methods A total of 86 patients in our hospital from year of July, 2010 to 2014, with cervical vertigo due to atlantoaxial joint disorder were divided into a control group and a treatment group randomly, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated by intravenous dripping of betahistine hydrochloride sodium chloride injection, while the treatment group was additionally treated by manipulation on the basis of the control group. The efficacy and symptoms changes together with average blood flow rate of LVA, RVA, BA, and the value of ADI, VBLADI, and DO were compared between the two groups after one week of the treatment. Results After the treatment, the improvement of vertigo and symptoms of the treatment group was between than the control group(t=12.655, P<0.05); the value of ADI and VBLADI decreased lower in the treatment group than the control group (t were 2.888 and 5.334 respectively, P<0.05);Vm of RVA, LVA and BA increased higher in the treatment group than the control group (t were 4.710, 3.534 and 5.335 respectively, P<0.01). Conclusions Manipulation combined with intravenous dripping of betahistine hydrochloride sodium chloride injection is effective in improving vertigo, decreasing ADI and VBLADI, and correcting atlantoaxial joint disorder.

We have developed a new wrist wearing heart rate monitoring alarm apparatus, which can detect the patients' real-time pulse waves. When the abnormal heart rate appears or pulse disappears, the monitoring alarm will sound and dial the remote telephone for help simultaneously. This apparatus uses the switch circuit to control the keyboard of mobile phone, and dials remote telephone in the help of mature technology and communication platform of mobile phones. The intelligent program can distinguish digital pulse signal, pick out the correct cycle of heartbeat intelligently. The new wrist wearing heart rate monitoring alarm apparatus will calculate an average heart rate when it captures consecutively five correct electrocardiograph waveforms. It really provides a simple, inexpensive and effective way for the patients with heart disease.

Objective To evaluate T cell and CD4+ CD28-T in the development and progression of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs).Methods Fifty Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =10 each). An AAA animal model is established by enhancing perfusing elastase to the infrarenal abdominal aorta of the rats. The levels of T cell,B cell and macrophage cell of abdominal aorta of the rats on days 3,7,14 and 28,were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).CD4+ CD28-T cell of the peripheral blood were measured by flow cytometry.Result There was significant T-lymphocyte infiltration both in middle and outer membrane of the artery of the rats on day 7 after surgery.T-lymphocyte,B-lymphocyte and macrophage cell infiltration were on the peak in middle and outer membrane of the artery on day 14 after surgery. The ratio of CD4+ CD28-T cell in rat peripheral blood reached peak on day 7(P <0.05).Conclusions T cell and CD4+ CD28-T cell expression increased in peripheral blood and abdominal aorta in AAA rat model, suggesting a potential role of T cell and CD4+ CD28-T cells in the pathogenesis of AAAs,especially during the early development of AAAs.
